You just went into the deep end lol Depends on your level of intelligence I guess, and also to the level of exposure to truly talented lyricists not just the crap that is on television. If there's two things I love its this manga and hip-hop.

you're obvious choices are Nas, Eminem, Jay-Z... then possibly guys like Lupe Fiasco etc, etc

Then the dark Horses, the lyrical equivalent to Kages lol

However my vote goes to Joe Budden... If you havent heard his Mood Muzik series you probably have no idea how talented he is, if you're a fan of hip-hop I invite you to listen to these Joe Budden songs; "Better Me", "Black Cloud", "Dear Diary" and my personal favorite "Pray for me". Youtube them.

Yeah I rock with Slaughterhouse, and now that they're finally with Shady records Joe's gonna get the respect he deserves as an mc
Cassidy is also up there, his punchlines are too serious

I must say, you're taste in music is superb lol haha On a serious note I agree with you 100% man! I hope he gets the exposure he deserves and yes, when it comes to strictly punchlines Cassidy was absolutely untouchable about 4, maybe 5 years ago. Nice to find someone who enjoys Slaughterhouse AND naruto lol

Because someone doesen't understand what real rap used to be.
There are still members from old school times that are alive
and had tons and tons of more talent than any of these dipshits.
Well Eminem has done an amazing career but the rest are just
show offs.

How can you indeed disclude the whole Gang Starr, Nas, Group Home,
Jurassic 5, Dr.Dre, remaining Wu-Tang clan members, Jeru The Damaja, Lord Finesse and many others.

Ofc those are the ones you like and you are most likely young
to ever experience the real thing but learn your history
and give respect to it before you start making threads like these.

Definetly, cant forget Talib, Mos Def, Rakim, Kool G Rap, KRS 1, Big Daddy Kane, LL, etc, etc... Kids these days are so impressionable, they believe anything and follow people who have no business leading. Very few artists are putting out new music that has lyrics and a message behing it, I can literally name em on one hand.
