dubstep and drum and base are dead. Only because everyone is starting to 'love it' but to me it just seems like another follow the crowd thing ,im just gonna stick to grime besides JME is on some album making spree hahaha

I understand what you're getting at, but considering that they are becoming more and more mainstream music, it has some pro and contra points:

Pro:

• more parties;
• more chances for DJ's to breakthrough, thus giving the whole scene a boost;
• cheaper cd's, lp's, etc.

Contra:

• Everyone listens to it, which doesn't make it "unique" anymore;
• commercialising of underground music;
• people who think to know everything about the genre.

Those are the main things that come into my mind at the moment.

yeh fair enaugh to those who actualy like it and listen to it i dont mind it at parties and that. And yeah its good for dj's like my bro (who doesnt mix as much anymore ) but the scenes making money off the ones who 'beg it' haha

I prefer DubStep way more than D&B.

I prefer listening underground DubStep as much as I can.However I love some more mainstraims.
