actually...folks are assuming the 3rd Raikage even KNOWS Darui...they said inherited...maybe he's related to them...

we dont even really know Darui's age...and if I remember correctly when Bee was pretty young his brother A was already becoming Raikage...

as such...how in the world would the Kin Gin brothers who died hundreds of years ago fighting the 2nd Hokage know anything about the Darui or the 3rd Raikage...

I think it's about the tattoo itself that gave it away to them...we dont really know exactly what the tattoos mean...

It requires water and lightning. Maybe A and Bee can't use water release or just aren't skilled enough ninjutsu wise... Kekkei Genkai are bloodline limits meaning they are passed on through blood of a specific clan. Previous Raikage, A, Bee and Darui can very well be related. It might be like the Uchihas, not all the Uchihas were able to use Sharingan.

how do you know 3rd Raikage name is C?? and where does it ever says Raikage name is A?? i know about the A but ive never seen it said in the manga...

Maybe Darui wasn't that strong in the past, the 3rd Raikage talked a bit with him and got him on the right path by teaching him the secret of dark lightning, which he actualy wouldn't tell anyone (even his 2 sons). And since that day Darui trained hard to become stronger and be usefull for his village?

i thought about this too.. maybe Darui is the baby brother of all 3 and was the only son to inherit black lightening from his father 3rd Raikage..

btw we dont know when the Kin Gin bros died or if they have any ties to killing the 2nd Hokage...

And yeah I made an error thinking the Black Lightning ability was part of his storm release so ignore the Kekkei Genkai part. Like I said though, A and Bee might be not skilled enough to learn this Black Lightning technique. They might not have the water element.

the current raikage's name is also E so i dont realy now if it is anything to do with alphabet and with the uchiha thing all uchihas have a dormant sharingan its just that not all awaken it unlike the hyuuga's as you said

They are probably related, they definitely bear a strong resemblance to each other.

By the way the timeline difference isn't hundreds of years its only a few decades, you know the Third was about 70-ish when he died and he was a child when the 1st and 2nd Hokage where around 20-ish.

So probably, the Third Raikage had already been appointed around the time of the battle between the Kinkaku Force and Tobirama.

When it comes to these things it's pretty obvious what it is, when people create black anything it's just the same as when people create black fire not just necessarily the ones in the Narutoverse but in general.

Usually it's implied that the intensity of the element is stronger than just the regular stuff. Hence amaterasu is depicted as this top-class fire jutsu, and how in the videogame inFamous when the main character takes the power of the raysphere a second time his lightning goes from red to black.
