if konan was wacthing nagatos body how did kabuto steal his dna
I think Oro got most of Akatsuki's DNA while he was part of Akatsuki but still its still a mystery how did he got Nagato's DNA and another mystery is how on earth Kabuto got the previous Kages DNAs. It is understandable to get one or two of the previous Hokaages DNAs but it looks like somehow Kabuto now has every DNA of the previous Kages.

Orochimaru did a lot of stuff and had a lot of snakes, so its possible.. DNA.. you just need a little bit of it..

By the way

Who said Orochimaru was the first to collect DNA? Maybe someone years before him did it and he managed to get that stuff

Great theory you guys (Pervy nin, Omningan, Jabznaruto and Floydical) put together. It's a pity we have so little facts and we cannot be certain about what every path is. Below I will give my speculations.

What if it's not the sealing techs, but the great, strong chakra of the Uzumaki clan? I mean, it was so strong that everyone from the clan was long-lived. Also, Kushina and Nagato's chakras were really strong and the power of a technique seems to be proportional to the quality of the chakra used to perform the technique. Not really sure if the power of techniques really counts, but at least the strength of the chakra is important. Here is the list of paths I made with 5 and 6 being unknown for now.
1) Senju - Sage's body, gives stamina and physical strength
2) Uchiha - Sage's spiritual energy, gives mental strength
3) Uzumaki - Sage's powerful chakra, gives strength to ninjutsu (and genjutsu?)
4) Rinnegan - Sage's eyes, give all chakra natures
5) (?)
6) Juubi (?)

And here is my explanation for Madara having only three paths so far. He is an Uchiha, he got Hashirama's living tissue, so that makes two. I believe the word living is key. Now, when he got to Nagato, he was dead from having used up all his chakra. He took the Rinnegan which was the third path. What if Madara had intended Nagato to be two paths - the Rinnegan and the Uzumaki clan's chakra - from the very moment he gave him the dojutsu. But when Nagato died he didn't have any chakra in his body because he used it all up and thus he was only one path. So now Madara is in need of Uzumaki chakra - maybe he can take Naruto's, maybe he'll find someone else.

I have speculated about the last path being the Juubi, but evidence is inconclusive. Yes, Madara did go through the trouble of capturing, extracting and re-sealing the bijuu. But that could have been in order to create his Zetsu army and later on as an infinite chakra source for him and not as a path. We don't know if the So6P was the So6P before he sealed the Juubi inside himself, or if he became the So6P when he sealed it (and by this I mean whether he had the power of the six paths (not to be confused with the six paths of Pain, those were reanimated bodies with one type of technique each, I am talking about powers as in characteristics increasing one's strength etc.) prior or following his battle with the Juubi).

Sorry for my long explanations in the brackets, I hope this will be understandable. By the way, does anybody remember my theory about Gedo Mazo being the actual body of the Juubi?
Hmm guess it is true that the Juubi may not be a path because he might have, in fact, been the So6P before sealing the best within himself. Madara did say that prior to sealing the biju in himself, the sage was already beyond human. Your theory is cemented in my mind, it seems very certain that the Gedo Mazo is the Juubi's body and may just be an empty, chakraless, container for now.

What do you personally think about my eye theory? Specifically having Rinnegan + Sharingan + Byakugan results in an eye evolution to the Sages perfect Rinnegan with 9 tome pattern and infinite Izangi? Kind of similar to how a Sharingan + MS can evolve into a EMS when taken from a clansman?

Does anyone know anything about the secret jutsu J-man and minato left naruto?...I heard about it and never actually seen it in a chapter...can anyone help me out? Like show me in the manga where it says that...BTW Im new here I've only posted a few times but never get any responses. Thanks SHN
Hey SageHokage. Are you talking about the 'that jutsu' that I remember Jiraya referring to in chapter 370? If so I simply believe that this 'that jutsu' is referring to his total mastery of the Kyubi's chakra within him. If that is the case, then he has already mastered it :).

The manga has been doing a pretty steady build towards some (hopefully) epic fights, but I think I'm just about ready for the character introductions to be over. "The Invisible Man" made it seem like things are starting to kind of get pulled out of thin air.

I would just like to point out one MAJOR thing that everyone seems to be overlooking. Kishi pretty much dropped a major bomb on us but did it very quietly. Here it is:
he talks about the two brothers from the cloud village being summoned and that they have nine tails chakra. He don't really know how but that is not the point. They have been summoned and they still have the chakra, which leads me to believe that all of the jinchuricki (spelling) have their respected tailed chakras . Anyone else agree with me or have anything to add?

Wait I think the real message is the (4) kages is really not the 2nd Kazekage but the 4th, or Gaara's dad. The next dialgoue and last part tells related to a time Gaara was till Young. Actually the Sensor guy might had detected the 2nd Kazekage (when that guy was killed by Sasori, and used as his puppet, right) So it maybe impossible to get his DNA since Sasori is the only one what happen to the real body.

Danivass dude, appreciate the post!

I first must express my feelings of how I feel each path serves a significant and independent role for controlling the juubi, The So6P knew he needed to master these paths. He could have already had some of them, if not all of them. It doesn't much matter. But I say he only had five paths before fighting the Juubi, we'll get to that later.
Tobi-Madara is currently collecting these ingredients to form the key to controlling the Juubi...

Now the way you describe the uzumaki clan and their chakra is indeed true, but I'm sticking by the knowledge they had with seals as the main reason for their chakra being a path of six and here is why...

1. Fuinjutsu (sealing jutsu) are very important for handling any of the tailed beast, including the juubi.
2. So6P was probably a master of fuinjutsu, but as he past and time drifted the uzumaki clan took their relation to the senju, or So6P and became masters of fuinjutsu. In conclusion uzumaki chakra (known for producing POWERFUL seals) and fuinjutus are interchangeable as one of the six paths.
3. Senjutsu chakra mastery is similar to that of uzumaki chakra, in that it enhances all ninjutsus. Being a sage by mastering this chakra would probably be important to fighting the juubi. In other words all stops probably need to be pulled out, even if the sage had the rinnegan, uchiha chakra, and senju chakra. Tobi-Madara will need all of these tools for round two with the juubi.

I really like the idea you provided of Tobi-Madara using Nagato as a vessel he could harvest when the time was right. He contained two of what I believe to be the six paths. We know Tobi-Madara had at least two while Nagato was alive (uchiha and senju), and with Nagato he had another two (uzumaki and rinnegan or mastery of elemental chakra). Perhaps he wanted Nagato to seal the juubi within him when the time became right, we'll have to see how Tobi-Madara handles this problem of sealing.

Finally, I said the sage only was only a master of five paths, but after sealing the juubi within him he earned the sixth path (jinchuuriki chakra). The obvious problem is we just don't know what the complete history of the So6P is. Time will tell indeed, but i'm pleased just discussing these ideas for the time being.

Sorry if this is so sloppy, but I'm sleepy. Also, danivass or others please critique, evaluate, or express your feelings to me over anything that seems off or just not a very good thought. I know I do a poor job of asking questions in my post to encourage responses, but I will work on this!

See you in the forum fray soon!

yo dudes!

my 6 paths theories as the paths of the next SO6P:

1. LOVE
2. HATE
3. SACRIFICE
4. ACCEPTANCE
5. WAR
6. PEACE

i was kind of short-posted on Love. the message went accross nonetheless. i'd just like to backtrack on the previous paths' discussions to shorten my unchanged thoughts regarding "JUUBI not a path" to be the SO6P.
please click hidden post below(was a conversation with my good friend snake orochimaru before. howdy dude??? hope you could join the fray..

another thing in this chapter: madara himself states that he wants to become the next juubi jinchuuriki..I just saw that...so maybe I am right with another path: the juubi!!

Hi there Snake Oro!

Your chapter specification was accurate..thanks a lot!

Now we could deliberate..that at one point you are correct..at another I am as well. Maybe, we differ at how we deliver our understanding.

1. rikudo defeated the juubi... you were right. But, I meant when I said the SO6P was not the jinchuuriki...was "when he fought the juubi" the SO6P was still NOT a jinchuuriki. you were right by saying ... the SO6P "became" a jinchuuriki when he defeated the monster that was the juubi.
Let us now have a mutual understanding with this... THE SO6P WAS NOT A JINCHUURIKI, HE BECAME A JINCHUURIKI. This is very clear in the chapter you specify.
2. sealed the juubi's chakra inside him becoming the first jinchuuriki...this is very clear as you put it. And I repeat, the SO6P was not a jinchuuriki prior to their fight..., he "became" what you meant -- after winning the fight and sealed the monster's power inside him.
3. -juubi's body(just body, no chakra) was incarcerated by so6p in the moon... according to the storyline, the juubi's body was sealed away and sent to the sky so nobody could reach it, and it became the moon. We would'nt know if the SO6P, now the jinchuuriki, was the one who did this -- seems unclear in the chapter. Because, in his deathbed, he knew that the juubi's power was so great that it leaked out -- might find it's way to the juubi's original body again.

Fearing this,
4. before he died, so6p divided juubi's chakra forming the nine bijuus...
..with his last remaining power, he divided the juubi's power to 9 tailed beasts (as we know chakra and will) -- so, maybe he was the one who did the moon,, -- but did not incarcerate or imprison the juubi in the moon. The juubi became the moon.

5. lastly .. (your) another thing in this chapter: madara himself states that he wants to become the next juubi jinchuuriki..I just saw that...so maybe I am right with another path: the juubi!!
..you're right, madara is ambitious...he wants to be the next jinchuuriki.
..madara is a liar! he lied to sasuke re the 9 tails attack in konoha. he hid the truth that he was behind the attack..agree??.
madara can never be the SO6P.

but...here we really differ... the juubi --as another path ,, of the SO6P?
I believe not... and it won't be.. it is clear in the storyline, even in between the lines.

My friend in opinion and in ideas Snake Oro...
I am correct in saying the SO6P was not a jinchuuriki... you are correct when you said "he became the first jinchuuriki".
I would clarify, though, that The Sage of the Six Path was SO6P without the juubi. The juubi was a monster with great chakra power that he defeated, and he then sealed that tremendous power in him,, making him the first host, the first jinchuuriki...agree??
..it was our deliberation re the so6p as a jinchuuriki, and the juubi as not a path -- to be a so6p.

the so6p was so6p without the juubi!

yo danivass!

guess we are on the same boat. JUUBI is not a path. right dude? i'd like to hear from you a lot. i know it would be coming from your imaginations. nice going dude!
the so6p was so6p without the juubi!
the so6p was so6p without the juubi!

yo omni!

thanks for the mention! reading your posts is more than enough a reply. wouldn't even be thought someone would make you reply because that someone asked you to. i know you post from your heart, my friend. and your posts help this forum a lot - just like the others' posts be they are short or novel-like.
...got to be interested to your "UZUMAKI path". hmmm, nagato indeed was the 3rd path for you. much to be appreciated beacuse Naruto is an UZUMAKI.
nagato "sacrificed" his "beingness" to Naruto's journey to peace. i will again ask for your support should i'd be given an opportunity to post re my "sacrifice path".

the so6p was so6p without the juubi!
the so6p was so6p without the juubi!

...i wouldn't want to "battle-semantics" re this with you. but i guess, danivass and i got our ideas accross ..clearly.

yo floydical!

...i really want to succumb with your "doujutsu path". should you say that the so6p's eyes were combo of byakugan-sharingan-rinnegan...
i will be the first to second the motion. eye powers had been a factor when it comes to parralellisms of energy, wisdom, knowledge and life.
the so6p was so6p without the juubi!
the so6p was so6p without the juubi! - you would want to share your thoughts on this again - sharp as a knife.
..btw, did you see those zetsus swarming the shore? were they able to travel along the ocean? we had an initial discussion re this before.
hope we could do some again...
..and re your somemangas translation re yin yang from the fox, well, yin or yang it was, that yin or yang possesses "contraction" of yin or yang. i know you do observe the small circle in the yin or the yang tomoe signs.... we will discuss again.

yo pervy!

the so6p was so6p without the juubi!

...my friend, just as what i expected from you. you would not give up an idea just passing by eh. yeah, we really do not know what the paths were - before and after the 1st so6p became so6p. nice thought!. it was clear in the storylines that the so6p was so6p before he defeated the juubi monster.

i would like to make this short for now...

hasta otra!

Its a possibility that they have some of their respective bijuu's chakra, but it will most probably be in very small amount since they no longer have the bijuus...........

Well, about your eye theory - it seems strange. But that strangeness is only if I look do not considering Naruto is the fictional manga it really is. I can really see it being true. Perhaps Madara's EMS in some way evolved into the Rinnegan he gave to Nagato and now all he needs is Sasuke's EMS and a Hyuuga's Byakugan to acquire the eyes of the Juubi. Or maybe
these dojutsu simply represent a part of the So6P's DNA and he wants to acquire them all for that reason. Whether or not these three dojutsu will form the Juubi's eye, I am certain they have an important role in the acquisition of the So6P's power. But we don't even know for sure how the Byakugan is connected to the Sharingan so I guess we can speculate until the moment we read Kishi's explanation it the manga. All I can say for now is that it seems all three dojutsu came directly from the sage, but Sharingan and Byakugan are less powerful than the original, because they are the product of the older son's DNA mixing with other, non-dojutsu possesing people's over the centuries.

Speaking of Izanagi, the following has always bugged me.

Here Madara implies that his Izanagi is complete. But how can it be complete if he still has to sacrifice an eye? Also, he said that the duration of Izanagi varies from person to person. That leads me to believe that he can use Izanagi for one thing only (e.g. staying intangible) for as long as he wants, as long as he doesn't stop the tech. And when he stops it I guess one of his eyes is sacrificed. It seems that the only complete and perfect Izanagi is the one performed by the So6P, as he didn't lose his eyes, but would that be because of the Rinnegan or something else? In conclusion I can only assume that incomplete means the duration of Izanagi is a constant which is far from infinite. What would you say about this?

Thanks for your reply, Pervy nin, now to the point.

How did the sage know he needed to master those paths (whatever they were)? I mean, the Juubi cannot have possibly been present on the ninja world for a long time - it would have probably made a hole through the core of the planet. At least if I were a big bad ten tailed beast with a seemingly infinite chakra source I would have. It is a mystery how the Juubi came to be on the ninja world, but for the reasons above I can say it either appeared once when the sage sealed it or many times over a long period of time but after some rampage it disappeared again. Okay, maybe the sage knew in another way, I won't argue with that one, I just want to see your thoughts about this :)

I am a man who does not like to assume things for sure until they are proven to be such. I accept theories that cannot be firmly proved but I always keep in mind that they could not be quite right. About the senjutsu chakra mastery, I am split in two - I really see it as a possible path, as it would be an important step in self-balance. But I cannot imagine the So6P taking his time to gather natural energy while the Juubi rampages nearby. But, as I have no proof I do not assume any of these two possibilities to be true. Hell, maybe the sage had the self-control to gather up senjutsu chakra and then used it to improve his speed, the power of his techniques etc.

Uzumaki chakra/sealing techs both being one path is possible. Let me just add - Kushina did not only survive for some time after the Nine-tails was released from her, no, she had just given birth. Imagine how weak she was even before Madara took the fox out of her. The strength of her chakra is more than capable of enduring the Nine-tails' removal. So it seems it is the only appropriate to be used in a sealing process - but I guess sealing techs depend on the person's "affinity" for them. Maybe strong chakra is what grants that "affinity" (for the lack of a better word in my mind to describe this) to sealing techs. So these two are interconnected and cannot really be separated. Just speculating here, not really saying anything different from what you said.

1. rikudo defeated the juubi... you were right.

------------------------------------------
..it was our deliberation re the so6p as a jinchuuriki, and the juubi as not a path -- to be a so6p.

the so6p was so6p without the juubi!

yo danivass!

guess we are on the same boat.

- you would want to share your thoughts on this again - sharp as a knife.
..btw, did you see those zetsus swarming the shore? were they able to travel along the ocean? we had an initial discussion re this before.
hope we could do some again...
..and re your somemangas translation re yin yang from the fox, well, yin or yang it was, that yin or yang possesses "contraction" of yin or yang. i know you do observe the small circle in the yin or the yang tomoe signs.... we will discuss again.

yo pervy!

the so6p was so6p without the juubi!

...my friend, just as what i expected from you. you would not give up an idea just passing by eh. yeah, we really do not know what the paths were - before and after the 1st so6p became so6p. nice thought!. it was clear in the storylines that the so6p was so6p before he defeated the juubi monster.

i would like to make this short for now...

hasta otra!

Jabznaruto, your paths have always been the ones I found strangest. But strange in a good way (like most imaginative and probable to be Kishi's surprise for us), and they add up perfectly. About the Juubi not being a path, I would say chances for this are 50%-50% so I shall not rush into a conclusion. I can only repeat myself on this matter:
I have speculated about the last path being the Juubi, but evidence is inconclusive. Yes, Madara did go through the trouble of capturing, extracting and re-sealing the bijuu. But that could have been in order to create his Zetsu army and later on as an infinite chakra source for him and not as a path.
I guess we shall see which of these 2 is correct in time :)
Peace, jabz :p

I would just like to point out one MAJOR thing that everyone seems to be overlooking. Kishi pretty much dropped a major bomb on us but did it very quietly. Here it is:
he talks about the two brothers from the cloud village being summoned and that they have nine tails chakra. He don't really know how but that is not the point. They have been summoned and they still have the chakra, which leads me to believe that all of the jinchuricki (spelling) have their respected tailed chakras . Anyone else agree with me or have anything to add?
It's possible they have got some left, however it's impossible that they have gotten all the chakra. The tailed beasts are separate beings and at this point none of them are dead or something, so they can't be resurrected.

Those two brothers apparantly were able to get some portion of the Kyuubi's chakra, which was mixed with their own. That's probably why it was resurrected as the two are intertwined.

It's possible that the other Jinchi's chakra got mixed that of their tailed beast and as a result resurrected, though that will -compared to the original source- not that much. Though they probably can still use the skills received from their beasts. I mean Gaara can still use sand, so it's possible that for instance Roshi still can use lava.

I hope no one is forgetting that I brought this to the table...?? Feels that way.

Anyways, I got some new stuff to share regardless of whether I will be credited with it.

First...
I am working under the assumption that Naruto already has something of the sage of the six paths... whether that be: he has it all, or whether: he only has a part of it, remains to be seen. The Kyuubi identifies something that Naruto is doing as the SO6P.
Also, Naruto very much resembles the SO6P while in Kyuubi Mode.
Both evidenced by these links.

Here he has the tomoe around his neck and he has the horns on his head.

Here, after Naruto locks the four element seal, and the Kyuubi is being locked away he desperately screams that "This is the sage of the six paths"

In conclusion to that, you guys can discuss the sage's six paths as much as you like, but until you admit that Naruto has what the sage of the six paths had, you are on the wrong track.

Now to identify what it is that Naruto has, that makes him the sage of the six paths, we have to define what we know about Naruto, which will lead us back to Rikudou Sennin.

Thanks to Madara spilling secrets while stealing the Rinnengan from Nagato's dead body and from what he told Konan while killing her, we can divine that 2 of the paths are without question...
1. Uchiha DNA.
2. Senju DNA.
These are without argument, two of the pieces necessary for the sage of the six paths.
They are also two of the keys to being able to use Izangi, the third key being in possession of a sharingan. This we know, because it was also done by Danzo under different cirumstances.

This Uchiha/Senju combination makes sense when we look at the Rikudou Sennin's sons. One lineage came to be Senju, the other eventually became Uchiha.
So like I said, these are unquestionably 2 of the 6 paths.
Moving on,
Now we have to look for the other 4 paths.
If we know for a fact that 2 are DNA based, and not based on a doujutsu.
Its not the Sharingan, Its the UCHIHA DNA. Don't get it twisted.
Then it stands to reason that its not the Rinnengan, its the Uzumaki DNA.
"Perhaps Madara's EMS in some way evolved into the Rinnegan he gave to Nagato"
I believe Danivass has what can be considered closest to the truth.
This fits in with Madara saying that the Rinnengan was his, but we never saw him with it. It also fits in with the theory that Nagato was the FIRST to have the rinnengan since the Rikudou Sennin. If Madara had them originally, then Nagato wouldnt have been the first. It also makes sense as to why Madara would give up his EMS, he wanted to create the Rinnengan in the world again, and this was the only way. By combining his advanced sharingan with an Uzumaki, the Rinnengan was born into the world again.
Then he was able to take his eyes back, newly powered up and get with them, his real goal, the Uzumaki DNA that he needed. I will repeat this so all of you understand...
THE RINNENGAN IS JUST A DOUJUTSU. The DNA that it carries, is Uzumaki, thanks in large part to Nagato. I can make this easier for you to understand by using Kakashi as an example. He has the sharingan, but he is not an uchiha. The eye is just a doujutsu, it by itself is powerful, yes, but only with the correct DNA does it become even more powerful, as evidenced by Itachi, Sasuke, etc. Sasuke with regular eyes, and no sharingan was still a genius. Keep this in mind.
This leads us to understand that the 3rd path that madara identifies when taking the rinnengan from Nagato is the Uzumaki DNA.
To prove this to you, I will try once more, so pay attention.

If you look here, Madara is talking to Nagato's dead body and he says.
"YOU are the third of the six paths" NOT "AH, the rinnengan the third piece of six"
NOT "finally the rinnengan, i have the third path again!"
NO NO NO
he says "YOU are the third path of six."
and then directly after that in the same dialogue he DROPS THE BOMB.
"YOU TURNED YOUR UZUMAKI RED HAIR, WHITE!"
This is where we learned the huge secret that Nagato was an Uzumaki.
The reason it was explained here is because of the significance of the third path.
Uzumaki DNA is the third path!
And so help me god if another one of you argues me on this I'm gonna flame you so hard, you'll think you have explosive diarrhea...

So now we can all agree wholeheartedly, right?, that
1. Senju
2. Uchiha
3. Uzumaki

Ok, thats three.
Three left to go, and here's where it gets tricky...
We have to assume that Naruto has the other 3. Something that naruto has in him, is the other 3. Lets see what we know about naruto. Naruto is a sage, one of the only sages ever, much like his master Jiraiya. There is something special about being a sage, a sage can posses and use the senjustu chakra. nature chakra. yellow chakra.
to others, it is deadly and can petrify you if your internal powers arent enough to control it. even jiraiya would start to look like a toad and he trained with it for years.
This fits in with the name of the Rikudou Sennin. He is the SAGE of the six paths.
The Rikudou Sennin was a sage, he had nature chakra well under his control.
He is accredited for being somewhat of a monk, someone at great inner peace.
We know that Naruto's original training in senjutsu chakra was to obtain a great inner calm and peace of mind/body/spirit. This is another piece of the puzzle.
We know that the first 3 pieces, uchiha, senju, and uzumaki are all WELL reknowned for their chakra abilities. The uchiha are masters of spirit chakra, the senju are masters of body chakra, and the uzumaki are masters of stamina chakra. (nagato, kushina, naruto) need I say more? So DNA/Chakra/Whatever seems to be the common key between the paths.
1. Senju
2. Uchiha
3. Uzumaki
4. Senjutsu

5, I feel very confident in. 6, Im not so sure about...
What else does Naruto have that the sage would have had?
What do they have in common? Well, they were both Jinchuurikis right?
And when did Naruto suddenly appear to have the qualities of the SO6P?
The minute that he took in the chakra of the Kyuubi! Nothing else changed in that moment. One minute, he didnt have it, the next minute he had the final piece, Tailed Beast Chakra! Senju Chakra, Uchiha Chakra, Uzumaki Chakra, Senjutsu Chakra, AND FOR OUR FIFTH PIECE, TAILED BEAST CHAKRA!! TADA!! Confetti falls from the sky! The skies part and the way becomes clear! LOL.
Now we have 5. GUARANTEED!

1. Senju
2. Uchiha
3. Uzumaki
4. Senjutsu
5. Tailed Beast
6. ??

Here's where I'm not so sure...
Lets keep looking at Naruto, what else does he have, that could be another chakra source, or another type of power?
We know that Naruto has Wind Element Chakra.

For the longest time, he didnt even know it, maybe he didnt truly have it, as I believe you have to CREATE it with your own chakra. Which is why bloodline limits, and bloodline expansions are so amazing. Because the user is not just using his chakra to create 1 element, he is using his chakra to create, 2 or even 3 elements and then combining them! as evidenced here by Yamato.

By this we can deduce that Naruto has an entirely sperate chakra type from the 5 listed above, he has WIND ELEMENT. Which I believe to be the 6th and final piece of the sage of the six paths! I will list them one more time for you, and the order isn't important, its where they come from and what they represent that is important.

1. Senju Chakra (I can pretty much guarantee you that Minato was Senju lineage.)
2. Uchiha Chakra (We know that Itachi gave something to Naruto, and I believe its this, a piece of Uchiha, something he might not be able to get anywhere else)
3. Senjutsu Chakra (Naruto trained really hard and worked diligently to become a sage, a master of nature chakra)
4. Uzumaki Chakra (we know for a fact that Naruto's mother was Uzumaki)
5. Wind Element Chakra (we know that naruto was capable of winde element, but until Kakashi identified it, and helped him learn to manifest and create it, it was not at his disposal)
6. Tailed Beast Chakra (possibly the rarest form of chakra, not many can claim the title Jinchuuriki)

So there you have it ladies and germs!
The Six Paths that Naruto has, that Madara wants.
I could be wrong, but it feels so right, I will stand by it until proven wrong.
Feel free to comment, and hate, and even try to disprove me, I'll be happy to hear it.
Just don't forget who told you!!!

And one final thing before I go, I had no idea that Naruto was so steeped in Japanese Mythology. Look here for some VERY interesting reading about Susanoo, Izanagi, Tsukiyomi, and Amertasu. It seems Kishi is a man of many minds and talents.
I'm very impressed.

"In Japanese mythology, Susanoo, the powerful storm of Summer, is the brother of Amaterasu, the goddess of the sun, and of Tsukuyomi, the god of the moon. All three were spawned from Izanagi, when he washed his face clean of the pollutants of Yomi, the underworld. Amaterasu was born when Izanagi washed out his left eye, Tsukuyomi was born from the washing of the right eye, and Susanoo from the washing of the nose."

Theres also some interesting bits here.

It seems Orochimaru and the Kusanagi are all inspired from myth as well.

ENJOY, MATES!!

How can I forget you were the creator of the "what the six paths are" theory? You invested so much thought in it that it became absolutely realistic. I won't comment on what you posted - I see no need to do so as I understand and firmly stand behind your thoughts. Let me add this - Kishi put deep considerations in his masterpiece - the Naruto manga. He researched a lot, it seems, and I am convinced there is plenty more based on Japanese/Eastern culture and myths. Perhaps the six paths in the manga are connected to some ancient legend.

Keep posting once in a while, Omningan, your theories are among the best I have seen :)

yo floydical!

...i really want to succumb with your "doujutsu path". should you say that the so6p's eyes were combo of byakugan-sharingan-rinnegan...
i will be the first to second the motion. eye powers had been a factor when it comes to parralellisms of energy, wisdom, knowledge and life.
the so6p was so6p without the juubi!
the so6p was so6p without the juubi!
Hey Jabz! I have to admit, the possibility of the Juubi not actually being a path does indeed seem possible. It was just such an integral part of Madara's plan that I think we all assumed it at first. We know for certain, however, that controlling the Juubi will allow Madara to cast an everlasting genjutsu over the whole world. To me, basically this means that he will already have access to the perfect eye without yet having control of the juubi. He will then likely use his strength and that eye to gain control the Juubi and finally, the addition of the Juubi's power will allow him to cast that eye on the face of the moon to control the world. Seems possible right?

Heh back to the 'electric impulse' discussion huh? Well in the chapter, they seem to be emerging from the water in a very normal way:

To me, it does not seem like they can travel through water like they can in Earth, but what is always under the water? Land of course :). Seems to me that they just continue their electric impulse travel through the land underwater, emerge from the earth while under water then simply pop to the surface. Thoughts?

As for Somemanga.com, I feel it typically does have better translations. Of course, that's not the case 100% of the time. I remember when Madara said Nagato was the 3rd path, Somemanga reported it as him being referred to as the 3rd sage of the six paths.......which can't possibly be true lol. But in general, I think its translations are a bit more reliable.

Mmm, yes Rinnegan evolving from EMS is quite possible. I also think that a regular sharingan or even unawakened sharingan may have a chance to evolve into Rinnegan when placed in the body of an Uzumaki. We'll have to wait and see the secret behind Madara giving the rinnegan to Nagato.

As for Izangi, I was involved in discussion about it after 510 came out. From 510, we know that by 'complete' Madara meant he was able to control the duration of the Izangi illusion where in fact it was still limited. Unfortunately, his 'intangibility' has nothing to do with Izangi. He specifically used Izangi just for that short duration fighting Konan to make her think that he was within range of the bombs. In Danzou's case, he was not able to control the length of the duration and had to keep checking back to see if it was still working. This equates to incomplete when it comes to eye abilities of a regular human. This means that Madara's idea of a 'complete' Izangi simply refers to the best possible control of the technique that was currently available to him, meaning having a sharingan in a body containing both uchiha and senju DNA. He had knowledge of how long he could maintain it and controlled it accordingly, but still lost his eye as a result. A perfect and INFINITE izangi was limited to the So6P.

Now we get into unexplored territory: was it simply the rinnegan that made the So6P's Izangi infinite? Or was it the perfect eye? I really am leaning toward the perfect eye containing the 9 sharingan tome. We don't actually know if a regular rinnegan (like Madara has in him now) can perform Izangi and I think we have to assume for now that it doesn't. But Nagato didn't have Uchiha DNA to use it (but Madara does). I do believe that Madara can use a better Izangi now since he has the Rinnegan but I don't think it is perfect. My best guess: If he could use Izangi with his rinnegan right now, I don't think that he would actually loose it as a result, but I think he would still be limited to the duration. Thus I believe that only a perfect rinnegan, with sharingan built in, can cast Izangi with infinite duration while never loosing the eye.

Anyone have further thoughts on this issue?

Oh, my bad, by staying intangible I meant to say staying intangible for longer than 5 minutes. Perhaps if it still isn't perfect with the Rinnegan, it will be limited to a once a day usage, or something similar. We shall see :)
