The Misfits were good. Why would you hate someone trying to copy them? Although MCR sounds absolutely nothing like them. Are you talking about the makeup? Because then you could say the Misfits copied The Damned. Which would also be ok in my book as The Damned were a great band.

If you want to see a band that "copies" the Misfits have a look at AFI's early albums. They have the look and the sound. The Misfits liked them so much they brought them on tour. I like AFI more than the Misfits, copy or not.
