Check "Man without fear", "Daredevil Yellow" or "Born again" for some epic reads.

Only have in book but it's not hard to find them in PDF.
Just google " The Walking Dead comics download" and see to what torrents it leads you.
Last time i heard the TV Series was not cancelled and it was actually the most viewed show from HBO but i do know all the writers and creative team was fired because the Series begun really, really strong and went to crap fast. Every episode kept on getting worse and worse to the point that Episode 6 was complete toxic garbage that should be avoided.
I just hope the second season turns out better because HBO did bought a second Season of 12 episodes.​
