The Police Officers wake up, but everyone is wondering if Kira had struck again that evening. Everyone rushes to the main room. One member is missing. Everyone's hearts sink. They begin searching headquarters. Noone is wondering what happened to Love Cook. They all know he's dead. Now it's just a matter of finding him. Near stops everyone and asks, Is someone doing laundry?" Everyone shakes their head, no. They open the door to the dryer and see the body of Love Cook, The Police Officer, dead, but completely dry and wrinkle free.
They all make their way back to the main room. Everyone is in shock and disbelief. Suddenly the front door open. Mayor Versuvio walks in with another man. Mayor Versuvio explains to Near that he wants a new member to join the task force. He has flown in from America and has a great deal of experience. Near can't refuse. The new member is introduced as Orange-Hokage.
