if you havent read my story yet please read:
Prologue:
Chapter 1:

well thats it here is chapter 2:

We walked into a room, what seemed like a grand hall, we moved quietly across the floor as little light shone through the windows making the oddest patterns. I looked at Dawn, who was pulling her bag behind her; her face was confused and a little lost on what we were doing. I don’t blame her though I’m a little lost and confused myself. This place is just so big, I don’t think we will ever find our way, I can see the headlines now ‘Icansiky Twins missing: father joyful of the tragedy’. I giggled as I pictured Michael dancing around because he didn’t have his brat of a daughter anymore, I recon I would pay to see that.

“Dusk, what are you doing?” Dawn called as I looked up to see her already on the other side of the hall, bag in one hand and the other on her hip.

“Ummm sorry Dawn nothing,” I replied before running over to catch up to her.

“Okay then, do you have any idea where we are?”

“Nope no clue Dawnie.”

“You’re a lot of help you know that?”

I smiled as I spoke, “yep of course I do.” We both started laughing as we walked into the next room of the maze, which we should now call our school, but it didn’t seem right to call it that yet.

The thick red curtains hung across the windows of the room, as the light that came from the candles made the place fell old, and the rich smell of dust forced me to sneeze and drop my bag onto the floor.

“Bless you,” a thick musky voice replied from behind me, making dawn jump and squeal like a little kid on a fast ride. I turned to face a tall lanky man; he seemed to be around 6’2, with a receding hair line and his green eyes that gave you that warm feeling. He made you think of a long lost uncle that had showed up with a box of cookies and milk, just to see you smile, but as if that could ever happen. He is plainly dressed, with just some grey slacks and a white shirt. He smiled softly and held out his hand as he spoke again, “The names Patrick Jenkins, but you can just call me Pat. I’m the head of security on this half of the school.”

Dawn’s hand came out of nowhere and took Pat’s hand shaking it softly. She smiled at the man as she spoke sweetly, “I’m Dawn Icansiky and this is my twin sister Dusk.” I just looked at them both, what was I meant to do? I’m not use to new people and this man was just a little too nice for my liking.

“Pat, we seemed to be a bit lost can you help us?”

“Sure thing little missy, where are you to need to get off to.”

“Well that’s the thing, we don’t know.” Dawn laughed a little out of irony of the situation; she seemed embarrassed of it all.

“Well it seems you guys are new comers to this little Collage ey? Well then let me help you out, I’ll bring ya down to Ms. Hackney’s office. She the head of the place, she will know what to do with you youngsters.”

“Thanks Pat,” Dawn smiled, and then glared at me. I knew she wasn’t impressed with me, being so quiet all of a sudden. I couldn’t help it though, I just don’t like new people they kind of scare me, even if they do seem nice. I don’t know them, so I don’t trust them.

We followed Pat down a thin hall which bet slightly to the left, dawn didn’t say one word the whole time we were following Pat through this maze of a place. She just kept walking with a stern face and not even taking one look at me, she was mad and I knew why. I guess when we get there I will apologies to her, just so I can speak to her again; I need at least one person to talk to in this place.

We stopped in front of tall wooden double doors, which look every old and washed away from years of wear and tear.

Pat opened one of the doors and gestured for us to walk inside. “In ya go little missies; I’ll talk to ya later maybe.” He smiled and disappeared as the door slammed shut.

I looked at Dawn who still looked very unimpressed and kind of out of it, sighing softly I spoke up, “I’m sorry Dawn I didn’t mean to go all quiet on you.”

“It’s fine dusk really, don’t worry.” She shot me a bright but very fake smile, typical Dawn, always trying to save other people’s feelings over hers, no matter how upset or angry she is. I can’t remember a time when Dawn, gave in and let her own feelings come first, instead of that of others. It would be good to see her care for herself a bit more, instead of tucking all her feelings away. One day they will just bubble up and explode, and when that day comes I sure as hell don’t want to be there.

“Err her hmmm!” a women’s voice interrupted my thoughts forcing me to turn and face the desk on the opposite side of the room. The women sat there, her beady eyes watching us with curiosity and surprise as we had entered her quarters. Her grey hair stood on end as she leaned herself forward in her chair, knocking papers on to the floor. She just crept me out just a little more, each second she sat there staring waiting for us to do something, like we were rats trapped in a cage and she was the evil scientist watching the experiment unfold.

“Err sorry miss…” Dawn began but was soon cut off with the slamming of the old women’s fist.

“Not miss you ignorant child, Ms., Ms. Hackney.” she grumbled chewing on what could only seem like gum of some kind.

“Sorry Ms. Hackney,” Dawn pulled out the words, copying the tone and all from Ms. Hackney’s voice. The woman looked slightly impressed by this but nothing more, her chewing didn’t stop, and it is actually beginning to bug me now. The Constance sound of her gum swishing around in her mouth chewing and chewing, the sound that can only eat at you and eat at you until…
Dawn grabbed my arm forcing me to stop from yelling at the top of my lungs, she just knew when something irritated me, she also knew that I can’t handle those things and I would go off, if I wasn’t stopped before hand. I couldn’t thank god enough for a sister like her, I can’t count the number of times she has saved me from making a world of trouble.

“Well now girls, your father has told me a lot about you. “ Ms. Hackney paused making her point that she knew how much of a trouble maker I was, this is great, just great. All I need at this place is another old grumpy person to replace the old grumpy man I left behind. Hint the sarcasm. She lifted her hand slowly pointing a boney finger at Dawn as she spoke, “Now you must be…”

“Dawn, Ms. Hackney” she replied softly, as Ms. Hackney’s finger pointed at me, her beady eyes scanning me up and down as she grunted at what she found.

“You must be Dusk then,” she grunted again.

“Yes,” I muttered looking down at the floor.

“Take your hood of child so I can see your face, it’s rude to keep such a thing on inside.”

“No.”

“Now child or its one week detention!”

“Dusk!” Dawn squeaked pulling at my hand. “Just listen to her please!”

“NO! I’m sick of this women, it is my hood and I want to keep it on!” I growled looking at Ms. Hackney, who was lapping up every little second of my small hissy fit. She was like one of those crazy people, who love to see people in misery, I could just tell and I know that she is just going to make it a hell of a lot worse.

“I am your principle and you shall do as I say!” The women growled standing up slamming her boney fists onto the desk.

“Well to bad, I’ll never do as you say not until you can stop that irritating gum chewing habit!” I yelled spinning myself around and stalking out the door, slamming it shut behind me. I could just make out the sounds of Ms. Hackney yelling for me to get back inside the room, and that I was exactly as my father had described me. I also could hear Dawn’s soft squeaky voice as she tried to calm the mad women down, it all just about made me laugh myself silly. What a fun four years this is going to turn out to be, and I’m only on my first day.

hope you enoyed chapter two!!!! and chapter 3 is being written at this time. leave comments or what ever :D
