my theory on why naruto might unlock the sharingan

Yes it will most likely be a memory,that's why I don't think Itachi gave him the necklace.
Everything points to the Itachi's crow genjutsu in my eyes.at first i thought maybe the sword and or shield,but we saw both after the crow went into Naruto's mouth.Itachi said i am giving you some of my power,not I'm giving some of my charka,weapon,shield or a Spirit Items.he hopes he never has to use it,hoping sasuke will figure it out and it wouldn't have to come to that.Since it was a crow that went into his mouth it might be a safe bet the crow represents Itachi's crow genjutsu.Itachi's Crow Genjutsu uses less charka and all you have to do is point or be visually seen to be put into a Genjutsu,with most of the Sharingan's Genjutsu you need direct eye contact.I don't think Sasuke has Demonic Illusion: Mirror Heaven and Earth Change,so I don't think he can counter it.Itachi develop it for a reason,maybe to help beat others from the Uchiha clan.Plus the crow genjutsu would be the easiest to give to naruto with a message to Sasuke.Think about it,Sasuke puts his eyes on full power looks at Naruto and Sasuke gets put into a genjutsu and Itachi tells him whats really going on.

Anything is possible in Naruto.The crow has the sharingan so he maybe able to use its sharingan till the charka runs out but who knows.

i dont really think the theory sucks but i doubt that naruto will get the sharingan because madara said i can see the 1th hokage in jou you know the senju clan so my guess is he will get the rinnegan because in the manga we see
1. good vs evil
2. senju VS uchiha
3. Naruto vs sasuke
so maybe naruto will get the rinnegan in a weird way and the gift will help him with it or help him if he fight sasuke

Totally agree with ya.I think Nagato sealed the power of the rinnegan in Naruto's body,and that's what the necklace symbolizes.Naruto is going to be so6p threw his body not his eyes,but don't think he will be able to learn how to use it before he fights Sasuke.Or its part of the frog scroll key,can't wait to find out.

Okay Okay, PE is saying, rather poorly admittedly, something that I said a while ago, and then thought of other theories that fit better with his words of hoping he never has to use the power.

Which is.

Itachi's gift is a Genjutsu. Some memory, or message to sasuke, most likely the unadulterated truth of the uchiha massacre, where sasuke learns that danzo was the only one behind it, that itachi didn't murder any uchiha but took the blame so he could hunt down the real murderer. That Tobi was the one who committed the attack claiming to be madara uchiha. This turns naruto against tobi and akatsuki and gives naruto the opening inside sasuke's heart to convert him back.


The reason I discounted this theory was that there's nothing in it that explains why itachi would hope naruto never had to use it.

if however, itachi had planned for tobi to approach sasuke, had planned for sasuke to take his eyes eventually, perhaps he put a two part sealing jutsu on his eyes. first part is inside the eyes themself, and the second part is within naruto. IF the eyes are used against naruto, they will be sealed causing sasuke to become blind.

yes because most of us know that madara is lying too sasuke
it was said that madara is a good talker and can get people to do things.

well, remember when itachi didnt doge that blade that sasuke through and that akatsuki guy was complaining that itachi would've usually dodged something like that and they assumed it was his disease.
itachi has had a disease and not only dodged but counterd that 3 minutes of shuriken throwing that sauke and him were doing.

maybe itachi gave naruto some ability that the sharingan has.


or maybe he gave naruto a seal so he could seal sasuke in another deminsion uses genjutsu.

maybe that bird had a shard of itachis sword in it.

ya,but i don't think that Itachi cares enough about Naruto to transplant a sharingan,even if he did it,still wouldn't be as powerful as sasuke's,because Naruto is not Uchiha.Maybe a temporary sharingan,but i don't think you can transfer sharingan powers without a sharingan.Plus it don't have to be powerful,his goal wasn't to make Naruto powerful,it was to deliver a message to Sasuka.Also their was a clan in the leaf village that was as powerful as the Uchiha in genjutsu at one time,they could put you in a genjutsu using any of your senses.forget the clans name.

ya all that is true but like u said the crows get a opponent in a genjutsu maybe naruto would get the sharingan for a short period of time and i dont think naruto is dumb enough to look at a sharingan eyes because he knows his not good at breaking genjutsus so maybe he would get the sharingan for a short while and some how the crows inside naruto (some of itachi's chakra) will unlock at the same time naruto unlocks the sharingan for a short while

nagato never gave naruto any powers dude all he did was revive the people he killed and as for the s6op seal was a help from his mother and father naruto sealed the demon fox with the s6op seal and he has the neckless tomoes as we all know uchihas are the only ones with tomoes and according to madara madara implanted the rinnigan into nagato when he was jst a baby and as for naruto getting the rinnigan well not saying that he is but he is already over powered all he has to do is have full control of the kyuubi than he can combind sm with s6op seal

Combining sage mode with cloak mode-he only has i think yang part of the foxes charka you need an equal amount of yin and yang charka to go into sage mode.Now i do think he will be able to use cloak mode on top of sage mode,but i don't think he will be able to combine it.
