Why was the Village Signature Request thread closed and done away with?

I was so looking forwards to getting a new one. I must say that even if the person that was doing them was rather insufferable, he still produced good work when he actually wanted to.

Will there be no more village sigs? Will no one step up and make them? Where is Kawagiri? I would, but I suck. xd

As him or ~Sherlock~ (he made them after Kawagiri). I think you're able to do them, all you need to do is to put a render on one of the village signs and add the text wanted (2 steps) ^^ gl
