Wow during this Naruto delay I read all of Full Metal Alchemist. Great manga to say the least, and the bonus is that it is completed . Man was really hoping for an early weekend release......now just hoping for midday tomorrow.

I agree with some of the stuff you said. I also think there is a good chance that Izuna is Tobi. Madara did die, and Izuna has taken up a quest for vengeance against everyone and everything. It's quite possible, although not as likely as my other guess.

My other guess is that Tobi is infact Madara, as he has claimed to be multiple times, and as many people have labeled him over and over. If you want some of that proof, search for my posts and find the ones about Madara = Tobi. I referenced quite a few chapters.

I think that Kabuto is threatening to release the edo-tensei'd Izuna. If Izuna was Madara's equal in every way, as explained by Itachi, then he would be quite a match for Madara. Also, it would be the only person who Madara might feel an emotional connection. Who the hell would want to fight their undead brother, that they hadn't seen in who knows how long? This would fit in perfectly with what we have seen Kabuto pulling against the Konoha people, bringing back teachers, and long lost loves, and fathers to torment them mentally. It would also explain why Madara is so insistent on knowing how to stop edo tensei. He doesn't want to have to fight Izuna, and I don't blame him. Izuna edo, would come back with the MS and that would suck to deal with, even for Madara.

But that's my guess.

I like your theory...But what if tobi ios really fugaku and itachi used the sharnigan to cast a genjutsu over sasuke to make him beleive he killed fugaku...far fetch... but it maybe possible.

It could very well be Izuna in that coffin in chapter 490 which forms the basis for Kabuto-Maru to force his will upon Tobi into accepting a partnership. After the shock by which Tobi reacts, calling Kabuto a madman, Kabuto replies 'You can relax (i.e. Don't worry), I haven't told a soul (anyone)'

This strongly implies damming evidence which Kabuto could reveal at any time which contradicts Tobi's claim of being Uchiha Madara. NOT so much a powerful adversary that has Madara shaking in his boots.

And, while I agree that is Kabuto's style to inflict emotional damage where possible, It doesn't account for the line 'You can relax..I didn't tell' to paraphrase the line. The line implies the revelation is more dangerous than the confrontation.

Plus, Kabuto's reluctance to call Tobi by the name of Madara.

Then there is chapter 520, where Kabuto tells himself to calm down ... but he'd be in trouble if he has to fight 'the Rinnegan' here. Not Madara..

Not to mention chapter 521 where Kabuto, when speaking of Edo Tensei, says 'The technique is so powerful, so incredible...That tales of its wielder inevitably spread across the entire world. I could become more infamous than, say.....Uchiha Madara...'

This all leads me to believe that, in a very significant way, Tobi is not Uchiha Madara. He might be acting on his behalf, through some unbeknown connection. Or directed by him, or contains a part of him...

To the reference which states Izuna is dead. The chapters relevant are 386 (Itachi explains to Sasuke) and 399 (Tobi-'Madara' explains the past to Sasuke). 399 p. 5 we see Izuna in a coffin. But is this in the mental imagery of Sasuke, hearing the story and assuming? Or in the imagery of Tobi...wanting all to believe Izuna had died in his 'sacrifice' for his clan.

On page 4, chap 399, we see Tobi clutching his arm while he lies to Sasuke that Izuna 'accepted his role...and willingly gave his eyes to me'. This either implies that as Izuna himself, he remembers all to well the truth behind his lies and it still hurts. Or....?

It is VERY possible Tobi is Madara. But only in some reduced way. Like Itachi said, ' a shell of his former self'. It could be his body is a fabrication produced by white Zetsu and only the one EMS eye contains his 'soul' and transmits his will to the clone-white Zetsu 'brain' and 'body'. His left EMS being burned out long ago by use of Izanagi..possibly to 'resurrect' himself via Illusion into reality of Izanagi. His half lost EMS still allows him 'Eternal' eye-life, but at a reduced capacity. One in need of a supply of good genuine Uchiha-brand parts.

The only reference to the 'fact' that Izuna died in battle while blind is the 3rd Databook. Which also states Izuna has the same birthday AND bloodtype as Obito... The databooks aren't exactly canon.

Your theory is brilliant. I believe that Tobi is Madara Uchiha and that the 6th Coffin is his brother Izuna Uchiha. In chapter 490 Kabuto shows Tobi all the coffins, realizing what he's up against Tobi knows it would only sidetrack his plans and delay him from reaching his goal. Any wise man would bargain with their enemy rather than wasting their time fighting with them only to be weakened in the outcome. If it was a fight against his brother, he would possess the MS which could take a toll on Tobi "Madara". Also after Tobi accepts the offer Kabuto then states "I knew you were a reasonable man. Uchiha Madara...you are truly in your own league." This sentence has great importance behind it. It shows that Kabuto respects his opponent and is capable of the power they possess. And that he believes this maybe the real Madara Uchiha as he says he is. Kabuto is a calm guy, whenever he encountered danger such as fighting Kakashi a Hokage level Ninja, and fighting 4Tail'd Naruto and being blown away from a chakara blast, he managed to keep his cool. For Kabuto to say something like that to an enemy he must know that this person is of great skill and importance. I don't recall Kabuto ever saying something like that to anyone not even Orochimaru. Also Tobi's knowledge of certain things can probably prove he is Madara Uchiha. He was there when he and the 1st Hokage built Khonoha, thus he knows about the stone tablet below Khonoha which a person would need both the Rinnegan and MS to read the tablet. He also was aware of Edo Tensei when Kabuto used it, he didn't say "What Technique is this?" or "How is this possible?" he knew right off that back that it was Edo Tensei. Why would he know this? Because he formed an alliance with the Senju clan when the 1st Hokage and his brother the 2nd Hokage was around. So maybe he seen the 2nd Hokage use Edo Tensei in action. Madara recieving the Rinnegan and having EMS just makes things completely unfair for Life. We seen what the Rinnegan did to Khonoha and all their Top Class Ninjas, Naruto probably would have been captured by Pain if it wasn't for Hinita. Sasuke used MS to take out Danzo who has all the Sharingans of past Uchihas. Imagine if Sasuke fought with EMS imagine the power he would of had. Tobi, "Madara" now possesses BOTH! P.S Tobi also carries the Sword and Fanthingy that we seen Madara have in the anime flashbacks Chapter 515 Page 18

HOWEVER! If not Madara then Tobi can also be Obito. (Don't yell at me, hear me out first.) Obito always wanted to be recognized as a great shinobi to Kakashi, he even stated once he awakens his Sharingan he would surpass Kakashi. Why not prove to the whole world that he is a great shinobi? How can he do this? Take the identity of Madara Uchiha to make them all tremble in fear Madara was known to be the best of the best for the Uchiha's right? Why wouldn't Obito take his name to gain the respect he always wanted? Also the Story behind Zetsu may clarify some things up, however I think Tobi said he created Zetsu, but if not then this is apart of my theory for Tobi being Obito. Zetsu could have found Obito crushed by the rocks and fixed him up, hence why Tobi's body is all fudged up and his face is like that. Zetsu has the ability to touch someone and copy their DNA and Chakara, what if he found Madara's body and copied his DNA to allow Obito to use his Sharingan to copy Madara's jutsus and power? Also NO ONE knows how Kakashi obtained his MS. MAYBE when Obito obtained his MS it triggered a reaction for Kakashi's eye since it was Obito's to begin with. ALSO when Kakashi tried to use Kamui on Tobi when he was rescuing Sasuke, Tobi said that technique would have no effect on me Kakashi, maybe that's because Obito would have a similar technique, hence both of them using Space/Time type of Eye Techniques. Obito's Space/Time technique would be far superior to Kakashi's since Obito is a true blooded Uchiha, makes sense?

THIS IS JUST A THEORY, but I would love for all you guys to comment and share your ideas on what you think. This by far is the biggest Mystery and outweighs Sasuke's Eyes which might not even look cool, And another Rasengan Naruto can make, we all know they refer to Rasengan as "That" jutsu anyway lol. Even tho it's pretty genius how the 4th Hokage stole a move from a Biju and made it into his own. Anyways letme know what you think guys, I'm all ears.

There's no way Kakashi is going to die. If you recall, he was just brought back to life after the whole Pain fight. He was technically voted into being Hokage, he's to strong to die this early in the war.

what i don't know what your writen but is any of that even in the manga i never read or wacthed anything about the water fall village and the stone tablet comeing from the water fall village none of that is possible and i think the so6p body would be completly decaded so would his eyes and where does it say he had to seal his soul give me the link where it says this and gedo staue is just for the sealing isn't it and if he had to seal his soul he'd be dead remember when the thrid hokage was trying to oro soul if you take out some ones soul they die but still ok theroy and i'm not argueing just a little citasium
