Anyone with good knowledge on PS3 to give me some pointers?

So i can cut some sweet deals for a PS3 with the cheapest being for a PS3 - 40GB model.
I don't want that piece of crap other than to play a game or 2 once in a while. With that in mind, does it makes so much difference if i buy a 40GB model or a 120GB or 160GB slim model?​

No for a few games not, but if you want more games yes. Cause when u put the cd in, half of the game will be saved on the hard disk. If you play a few games and delete them later for new games, there will be no problem. To answer more clearly: there are no difference except the harddisk.

Yes.

My thing is, other than Fifa 2011 & PES 2011, i doubt i'll put many games on my games so i can game while i game at all.
There's some good ones on the list though. I'm just having an hard time conceiving the idea of spending 450€ on a console.​

I can get PS3 - 40GB for 150€ as well with no games.

Yes, i do see it's great deal, the only thing with it is that i doubt that i'll ever even touch a quarter of the games in the list. Thus, be spending more money for things i won't use, i might as well get a dog.​

Get the one for 150€ and then buy games on retail, how much can they cost, 30€ each?

The one for 450€ would be a great deal if you were interested in playing many different games.
Or you could do as Kushan says and sell the stuff you don't use again, you might even make money out of it. If there is a good market, I'd say that selling the things you don't need is the best deal no matter how you look at it.
