[Discussion] Is the TBB Rasengan training preparing Naruto to learn sage mode + RKS mode fusion?

Rationale:
Something that's bothered me about fusing sage mode with RKS (Rikodou Sennin) mode is that while in RKS mode, Naruto is exchanging his yin and yang chakra for the fox's yang chakra alone, as the yin was sealed in the belly of the death god by Minato.

Thus, if Naruto starts in RKS mode and draws in nature chakra, he would be half yang Kyuubi, 25% yang nature, and 25% yin nature. As I understand it, this would not be balanced since he'd have 75% yang and 25% yin.

TBB Rasengan training balancing light and dark:
Now, Naruto is training to make the TBB Rasengan using a specific ratio of black and white Kyuubi yang chakra ( I believe he's aiming for a 8:2 ratio, but I forget).

Achieving yin and yang balance in sage RKS fusion mode:
If Naruto were to apply the same principle to nature chakra he could draw in only yin nature chakra, which would allow perfect 50% yin/yang. But the nature chakra might not enhance the Kyuubi yang chakra Alternatively, if he drew in a ratio of 2:1 yin:yang nature chakra he would have a perfect balance of yin and yang, and his yang would be composed of both Kyuubi and nature chakra.

I don't know if this can be done, but I'm curious what other people think.

1.) Namely, is Kishimoto using the TBB in part to foreshadow sage/RKS fusion?

2.) Will it be necessary for Naruto to draw in nature chakra in a specific yin/yang ratio to fuse sage and RKS mode?

Well to use jutsu, your total chakra or balance isn't the factor that matters. Naruto only has to shape the chakra in this ratio to perform the TBB. If his chakra isn't in a good balance or proportion though, he may not be able to do it many times. This ratio is funny 8:2...just 4:1 really. But I think it requires more of the Yang chakra anyway.

Rikodou Sennin Mode is way to awesome... I was so excited when I saw it in action...

now this tailed beast bomb crap is a little to much for me... why waste the time and effort learning a move it takes so much out of him... he should first ace making Rasengan using the tamed chakra of the Kyuubi... even basic combat skills while in that mode...

I'm still hoping he will learn a new Jutsu, not just a better version of an old Jutsu...

didn't he make branches grow form Yamoto's wood jutsu... imagine in normal natural conditions Naruto should be able to make rainforests...

Kishi needs to make Naruto do more with such awesome powers... He also needs to explain why Naruto has the marking on him...

Naruto needs to go back to fight the Kyuubi using Rikodou Sennin Mode this time... Naruto still needs to fully confront the demon inside him to allow him to have full control...

I was always hoping for a Sage Mode and Rikodou Sennin Mode fusion... if not then What becomes of Sage Mode... he only used it in one real fight against pain...

What ur saying is fair enough but here is my opinion:

1. I'm not sure if naruto can willingly alter the yin yang ratio of his SENJUTSU CHAKRA.

2. Kishi made Naruto not able to use clones in RKS for a reason He is telling us NO Sennin Rikudou Fusion. Naruto need clone to enter sage mode but he can't use clones while using the kyuubi's chakra so........ no fusion.

Yeah, 8:2 is just not the reduced ratio, as a mathematician it's kind of a sin for me, but I believe in being consistent with the manga in case someone goes back to read it. Thing is Naruto in RKS mode is incomplete in my mind, and sage mode provides a way to complete Naruto by having yin and yang.

Yeah, I agree, sage mode was epic and can't be for so little use. Naruto's training always seems to act as a bridge for future training, so besides blowing stuff up, what's the purpose of the TBB Rasengan training going to be? I think it's for Naruto to be "complete," which would be the fusion of sage and RKS mode and to have both yin and yang in him. That fusion is scary no matter who you are. I figure he has at least one new jutsu coming that maybe he can't perfect without fusing the two, can't wait.

Sorry, I missed you on the multi-quote. I agree about point 1., I don't know if it's possible, but if it is, I think the TBB Rasengan training sort of leads the way if is. If I'm wrong, then there ought to be another way hopefully. It's a good point.

Regarding point 2. Naruto doesn't need clones to enter sage mode, it was just a method to prolong it since he couldn't fuse with Pa toad. For example, he entered sage mode against Nagato before coming out of Chibaku Tensei when his last sage clone was destroyed from being in Kyuubi mode.

wrong. he just needs to stand still. remember before he went to confront nagato and konan, he stood still outside of the tree, and, without clones, went into sage mode. while he can't effectivly use it in battle because he has to stand still, you saw the chakra arms he used to help make the TBB, he could use those to fight while he stands still, because those arms are chakra, not his body. therefore, he can use sage mode with RKS mode, which would be awesome. he could also go into sage mode, and then to RKS. therefore, i have been arguing with people alot today, and therefore, i like the word 'therefore'.

Well what if it's different when he's in controlled jinchuriki mode? Maybe he can gather greater and longer lasting sage chakra. It's not hard to imagine, plus they foreshadowed it somewhat when he showed the sage mode eyes with the fox eye against Nagato.

I would have to say Sage Mode can't be a waste. I am 100% sure it will be incorporated into the Beast Chakra Mode somehow. His training always builds upon other techniques..

I totally agree on point 2. two but naruto from what we know naruto can only maintain SM for 5mins, that wouldn't make much sense unless the fusion of the two mode has major significance in the series and not just for the battle it is used in. However naruto was seen training to prolong his use of SM so I don't know his time limit now.
