History
Born an orphan Akui spent most of his "childhood" fighting for his life as a slave & gladiator.
He was abducted from a small town where he was being raised by an elderly couple who were slaughtered when bandit's went through the town. They took all the children for slaves, those deemed strong enough no matter the age were put into a gladitorial tournament...they had to kill their only friends to survive and the prize: they got to become a bandit and leave slavehood behind.
Not for Akui, he battled his way to the final round he slaughtered, butchered & dismembered all of his "friends" but then came to the final round to see he was up against his one true friend whom he grew up with. The daughter of the elderly couple who raised him...Kila.
Akui in a rage grabbed an axe from a nearby wall and preceded to jump into the stands and kill all the spectators: guards & slaves alike. Akui sadistically and tactically killed almost every single Bandit until...the Bandit Leader he had Kila kneeled in front of him with a Katana pressed against her back. Akui knew the terms he must leave and never return, leave the slave camp and his friend would be allowed to live a slave.
Akui clenched the handle of the axe, Kila's eye's motioned towards her machete's on the floor in front of her, Akui threw the axe with all his might and Kila grabbed the Machete's but not in time the Katana pushed through her body in seconds she didnt even have time to hear the scream from Akui or the axe cracking the Bandit Leaders skull.
Akui from this point was nothing more than a shell. His only goals to survive...and kill any in his way until he found the true leader of those bandits.
He eventually met Kirabi a man whom he disliked but that could teach him more in the arts of Kenjutsu so he allied himself to Kumo until a better opportunity arises.
