smdh.. guy he got it from killing Shisui.. Shisui was his master (somebody close) . During being interogated by other Uchihas he said he didnt kill him but he revealed that he had MS to sasuke. and shortly after he admitted to killing him to Sasuke.

well you dont need to kill your best friend to get the MS. Remeber Sasuke got his from killing Itachi. to get the MS you need to lose someone you have a great attachment to. Remember Sasuke's whole life was revolved around itachi even though he hated him.

This is a believable theory, but not everything fits together. How come Itachi could use his MS before he 'killed' Shisui but before the Uchiha massacre, remember he used it against his dad when he was accused of being responsible for killing Shisui. But there definitely seems to be a relationship between Tobi's ability to control people with his sharingan and Shisui's ability to control people with his sharingan, it doesn't seem like a very common ability, if it was something you could just 'learn' then Itachi and Sasuke would've mastered it. Kabuto clearly knows something about Tobi's real identity judging from his cocky little comments: 'I could become as infamous as say... Uchiha Madara' 'You go by Madara these days' clearly indicate there's more to Tobi than JUST Madara. And Madara never wore a mask, Tobi does and it's not cos he's shy. Itachi got his MS by the pain caused by losing the person closest to him, Kakashi didn't kill someone to gain MS. So you don't have to actually KILL the person closest to you, it's just that the person closest to you needs to die and gits like Madara and Izuna were willing to cause the deaths of the people closest to them in order to gain their MS. Of course Shisui could be alive and Itachi merely thought he'd killed him, that should still have awakened the MS so long as Itachi was none the wiser.

I remember when you did not make threads based on nothing? all you have shown is that madara likes remain unknown cause then his enemies would know less about him and he would certainly have an advantage. you don't even need to kill someone you are close too to get the MS. you "just" need to be exposed of great trauma, which is very often the death of someone you love, but it could also be something completely different. in itachis case it was drowning shisui. they found his body and what not and danzou exploited that taking his eye or eye's maybe he had the other stacked up. it was not like the uchia clan was gonna stop him lol. I really don't understand why people cant call a spade for a spade just because it does not fit what they want from the manga. and cant you see that keeping himself in the dark as much as possible is the smartest thing to do? madara is a smart guy and i guess that he is going to end kabuto sooner rather than later btw

Yeah Itachi had a girlfriend and killed her, but that was after killing shisui.
He got an unlimited suplies of sammiches from her corpse though.
