i have been wondering if itachi was a good man and did everything to protect his brother and leaf then why did't he told the third that madara is alive and why did he join akatsuki

There some things I disagree with itachi's methods.

He joined absukhi to better protect konoha from the shadows absukaki one way or another willl attack konoha.


I guess he couldn't inform the third hokage due being partnered with someone all the time, and kisame believed in madara's cause fully so simply no way to get away from kisame.

The one think I don't understand is why didn't he do a something to delay kisame from about to chop naruto's legs/arms, if it wasn't for jiraiya things could have turned for bad very quickly and who knows what itachi's next move would have been. Seems to me he cared for Sasuke a great deal more than the konoha, even though konoha losing the fox would be a MASSIVE loss to their power, given how konoha lost the third and fourth hokages.

I'd say Itachi's plan would have changed alot if kisame chopped naruto's leg/arms and captured Naruto. He would have left absuki, hid naruto, told sasuke where to find him after their fight and kill kisame. But whats done is done, but I do think that encounter with naruto changed things for itachi.

in this manga it is showed that he went to talk to third after he killed his clan he could have told him there

Oh yea They did meet before the masscre, that true why didn't he tell about the mastermind behind absukaki.

Well yea Jiraiya was A VERY strong shinobi the genjutsu cast on girl was childs play for jiraiya, I just think itachi was cutting it very close, seconds later and naruto would've coped one.

I gotta a strong feeling itachi didn't have the legendary weapons in part 1, and got them in part 2. Which is why I think he said after kisame emitted defeat he too would also lose to jiraiya also.

Actually I have a feeling Itachi had it in part 1 also. He just never used it because he didnt need to. Remember Orochimaru said ever since he left the leaf he was serching for the sword everywere. then up to his death he stated "The sword of tortsuga. So you had it all along Itachi" that's probably why Orochimaru could never find it.

My guess, the reason he didnt continue the fight was because they didnt want to draw unneccecery attention. Remember when they faought asuma and Kurenai? They left because to many Ninja were showing up.

And the main reason...They went to Konaha on Akatsuki's order's. But remember, secretly in the Manga Itachi only went to Konaha to make sure Sasuke was safe. Itachi really had no reason to go there except for that. According to Tobi that is.

itachi made some decisions that was very difficult to make. he had to choose between his clan and village. for him to plan this far ahead, really shows that he is indeed a genius.

we never know itachi could have the legendary weapons then or not and jiraiya didn't know amaretsu then

Well Madara would have probably found out that he told the third. Itachi of course wouldn't want this because he had a deal with Madara that he (Madara) wouldn't attack Konoha if Itachi wiped out the Uchiha clan...

And don't forget that even if Itachi did everything for his village, he still committed genocide

Madara's story is all over the place and Itachi's part of the story isn't clear. It also doesn't help when Madara is the author of the story as he likes to "twist" the stories to achieve his goal. Let the manga play out.

i think his story's finished........as i just said before its just another manga mistake

Itachi's only mistake was creating the biggest eye-sore dramaqueen in existence, Sasugay.
