Is Sage mode pointless now???

This is like asking if the regular rasengan is useful. Of course sage mode is useful. Although Naruto uses Rasen-shuriken and other rasengans, he still used the reg rasengan against Pain. If somehow naruto can't go to that fox mode, he'll always have sage mode :3

At the moment SO6P mode has more disadvantages then sage mode, but i'm guessing that in the end he will combine them or find a new way of using both of them xd

i think ur both are wrong yes is true that the frog did say that about the whole nine tails shit but remember that was back then now naruto half of the control of kyuubi so once he has full control he would be able to have the frogs on his shoulders like pervy did

Yes and back then the nine tails chakra was always mixing with his own, with the new seal however he isn't always using the kyubi's chakra, and also i don't think the kyubi's evil will will interfere anymore.
