*after hearing the explanation and with my hand still in the water i focus my chakra into my hand and while retaining the image of a lightning bolt in my mind i release the energy into the puddle... i have no idea of how to make electricity*

Now try focusing your chakra in small bursts of energy (as we all have lightning affinity, we just need to learn how to control it and use it properly) and re-do the move again. Replay the feeling and experience as you do so.

Now, I want you to focus your newly acquired Raiton chakra into your hand. Once you have pooled enough chakra into it, I want you to slam your hand upon the ground, releasing the chakra into the ground towards my foot. Make sure you guide the chakra and maintain steady control.

as an advantage i can instead of facusing all the chakra in one point i can spread it and have a shotgun effect, and disadvantage i need to touch the ground inorder for it to spread, and the enemy can just jump over it xd...

Next jutsu: I now want you to concentrate your Raiton Chakra around your body as some sort of shield. Release it from your skin and make sure you have no openings in your chakra - also, keep it close enough so you don't lose control of your chakra. This is to defend against basic wind attacks.
