Water droplets in the mist take a few forms - a random shape that the water vapor takes, or something akin to a crystal, if they are closer to snow. We're going to cause this jutsu to work by basically creating jewels - the water will become faceted and will reflect the light from within, once struck.

You are to take the shapeless or incorrectly shaped water molecules, and use your chakra, in addition to your shape manipulation, to have those drops of water become cubes. This is only the first step we take.

I then make each face into a pentagon and make the vertexes of each side connect with those of the others while faces on ends are given shape by the meeting of the other vertexes.* (This happens on both sides.)

Descripton: Utilizes water to create a spinning water vortex around the ninja. The water acts both as a barrier and attack mechanism. The power of the vortex is enough to knock an opponent unconscious. Can only be performed if there is a water source near by.

This is a water jutsu that can be used a number of different ways - you can either for the tornado around or near the opponent to damage them, between them and you as a shield, or around yourself as a barrier. It's a very useful move, if you can use it right.

First, before we get on to how the jutsu works, I want you to practice the handseals: Ram, Horse, and Bird.

Okay, what you'll need to do now is focus your chakra into a water source as a you form the handseals.

From there, you'll use that chakra to lift the water into the air - you'll have it dispersed though, as you don't want it visible at the moment.

I'm slowing the process of this jutsu WAY down for training purposes. In battle, this'll all happen very quickly.

Not quite. You want to take all the water that you gather from the river and disperse it across an area of land (I'm teaching you the land variant, as it requires more work, so using it on water will be easier) and basically form a mist with it. What's different, though, is that you need to have the water so spread out, across and vertically, that no one can see it - almost like its just the water that's naturally in the air.

As it would begin to make a mist, I disperse the water molecules all over the area in which we are standing, so that the molecules are not in mass and therefore cannot be seen.*

Alright, now, when you're actually preforming the jutsu, you'll fuse the previous step together and this one, so that when you actually preform it, you'll bring the water straight to were you want it.

Now, using your chakra, I want you to manipulate the water so that it forms a column around a tree, by bringing all the scattered water together.

From there, cause your chakra to rotate - if you do it fast enough, you'll create a small tornado.

You really don't have to continue stating the seals. I require it that you atleast see them, so you know the move has handseals, and you can see how many there are.

Good. Now, you want to add additional Sution chakra to that. You'll need to make it spin faster and use your chakra to complete the vortex, and form the tornado.

Now, finish up by elongating the column. If you stretch it just a bit, the chakra will make faster rotations, and the tornado will become a bit more powerful.

Now, preform the entire justu, from the top. Do it quickly, too; you can actually disperse the part about distributing the water chakra into the air. I simply had you do that for practice. So you can take the water straight from the source and form a column.
