Really?? MoH was Ok to me wasn't all that and I would never compare it to any COD game but if thats what your saying then Black Ops don't look all that.rented it and i kinda liked medal of honor better. medal of honor made it feel like i was there where black ops just was kinda boring at times.
both are good games and black ops is a good 4 hours longer than medal of honor but MoH had features that i wish Black Ops had
well they are both good games, but in MoH there was a level where towards the end you are ambushed by an overwhelming Al Qeada force, at the end you and your entire squad run out of ammo. it really made me feel desperate and COD just didn't have the same feeling, especially when both Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 conveyed that feeling across. I also didn't like that CoD didn't have any sniping levels, though thats just a gripe of mineReally?? I know everyone has their own opinions and that maybe your opinion and I respect that but hearing that I kinda don't feel like even getting Black Ops then lol will get most likely because I may really like but yeah it's a shock that someone prefers MoH over COD
I tried giving you reps for that wonderful reply, but I have to "spread some around" firstHopefully, you will get addicted enough not to show your face around here for a while.
Yes, I agree with you story has a big part in a game itself and I played MoH story haven't finished it yet but am pretty far and a friend said it was amazing but COD MW2 had an amazing story also and their were sniping levels but I'm not much of a sniper so doesn't really matter to me. You talked about the ending where you ran out of ammo in an ambush in COD MW2 i remember when you tried escaping the estate and got to your chopper your commander betrayed you and you were laying their with your dead friend helpless and got killed which was a crazy scene and also at the end where your laying their helplessly while your friend is getting beaten down and you have to throw that knife at him was also an epic scene. MoH I'm playing that on hard difficulty and it's pretty easy to be honest while COD when you play on hard it puts you to the test.well they are both good games, but in MoH there was a level where towards the end you are ambushed by an overwhelming Al Qeada force, at the end you and your entire squad run out of ammo. it really made me feel desperate and COD just didn't have the same feeling, especially when both Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 conveyed that feeling across. Both are good games, though i'd rent MoH just because its a lot shorter than CoD.
thats my point..the new CoD doesn't have any point in it where you think "something bad is about to happen" like MW, MW2 or MoH had. and I'm usually the sniper in multiplayer so those are the missions i enjoy mostYes, I agree with you story has a big part in a game itself and I played MoH story haven't finished it yet but am pretty far and a friend said it was amazing but COD MW2 had an amazing story also and their were sniping levels but I'm not much of a sniper so doesn't really matter to me. I'll tell you the truth MoH was an awesome game and I liked it but if ever I had to get one it would be COD hands down, not only does it have some awesome story gameplay but online is pretty deadly itself but like you said both games are good and we cant really compare them because they have different style gameplay and catching people attention.
Damn You go into detail quite nicelythats my point..the new CoD doesn't have any point in it where you think "something bad is about to happen" like MW, MW2 or MoH had. and I'm usually the sniper in multiplayer so those are the missions i enjoy most
but i do agree, i'd buy CoD and rent MoH but I do highly recommend that you play both games as they are very good games. I wish CoD allowed me to lean out from cover and change the fire mod of rifles since there are times in CoD where i'd like a single shot from a M4 or a burst from a FAL.
I can see where your coming from there, really haven't heard of anything about the story bad or good yet but if beating the story they let you unlock a zombie level then doesn't seem all that since their trying to make people play it. It's all about online play tho and we all know COD is the number 1 first person online game.thats my point..the new CoD doesn't have any point in it where you think "something bad is about to happen" like MW, MW2 or MoH had. and I'm usually the sniper in multiplayer so those are the missions i enjoy most

i stopped playing when people would dual wield the shotgun and while I enjoy FPS a lot, racing games are still my favorite gamesDamn You go into detail quite nicely
I mainly quickscope on cod4 and mw2 I haven't bought blackops yet because they gimped the quick scoping.
On cod4 I mainly use the M40A3 and the R700
and on MW2 I use either the intervention or the B .50 cal.
I haven't played online at all, after the experience with MW2 and the ability for noobs and the shotgunning >.< and i'm more interested in the story of the game than the multiplayer, and i think the story in MoH is just a tad bit better than the CoD story. MoH has that sense of "this has actually happened" where the CoD story is more like "ok it might have happened". like i said though, both are good games, with their own strengths and weaknesses, but buy CoD and rent MoH but play bothI can see where your coming from there, really haven't heard of anything about the story bad or good yet but if beating the story they let you unlock a zombie level then doesn't seem all that since their trying to make people play it. We all wish their were things we could do or get rid of in COD but not really I hate noob tubes, thermal, heartbeat sensor, and etc from MW 2 and also i ahte how they never let the famas be a burst gun either. I hate sniping man LOL probably one of the worst, my main 3 guns were
1. UMP
2. Scar
3. ACR
and optional were M16 and Tar
have you played online on black ops? and don't tell noob tubing is still in there? lol
Yeah, I went over to a friends yesterday and decided to try the game since he had it. I was pretty disappointed in online play. It could be just that I'm not use to it yet or just I expect it to be like MW 2 but it was disappointing. I mean maps seem so much more smaller, they took so many guns out and theirs less power in guns in the game, and mainly since maps are small their is a lot of camping with random spawn points. They improved knifing because it's not like the energy sword in halo where you hit mele (MW 2) and direct stab but you can actually miss in this game, I literally watched my friend play he had his aim headshot on a guy and when he shot he didn't even get a hit marker and wasted a full clip and his aim was accurate.I haven't played online at all, after the experience with MW2 and the ability for noobs and the shotgunning >.< and i'm more interested in the story of the game than the multiplayer, and i think the story in MoH is just a tad bit better than the CoD story. I would like to add that I really liked that they got Sam Worthington to play the voice of Mason! I'm a big fan of Worthington's and think he's a great choice even if his Aussie accent kicks in from time to time
