Background Info.
History:
Luo-Lang and his ancestors came from the lands of Chine, far away from Japan. Luo came into Japan later, on the orders of the Chinese Emperor of the Sengoku dynasty, on a mission to find a special kind of drug. The fact that he actually obeyed the orders is funny, because he has never before done so. However, the ones who knew him, told that he went abroad, only in search of deign swordsman to fight.
Not much is known of his childhood, but according to a friend of his, his parents were long dead before he entered the service to the Emperor.
He probably had a tough childhood. Out of this, we can presume that he had to be very independent, and most of all, strong in inside, already by then. This was the base for him to form into a stone hearted being.
But from the moment he entered the Emperor’s special forces, blood was scattered all over his documents. He made progress through the ranks very fast, and at the age of 18, he was already the second in command of the Emperor Special Forces, or the so called ESFs.
The commander of the ESFs was a very old man, Byakuran by name. He did not take part in fights, and was partially blind, but enjoyed in the respect he gained in his youth. Everyone who was someone, approached him, and asked for his advice before challenges. All apart from Luo-Lang. The tensions between the two of them grew, as Byakuran could not stand the fact, that Luo ignored him. But this tensions tended to blow up one day.
It was the 6th year of Luo’s service to the emperor. An elite, small group of the ESFs was sent into Japan, on the mission to find a certain drug. the group departed from a port in the south of China, sailing the seas towards the O’uzu Island.
It was full moon, and the ship glided peacefully on the sea. Wind was blowing slowly, and everyone was strong asleep, everyone but a golden-haired man, with a troubled express on his face, looking towards the sky. He was sitting on the forecastle deck, leaning on the spray board with his back. He was playing with his sword in his hands, in front of him.
“Geez, what a pain in the ass this whole mission thing is. Wouldn’t it be better for everyone to just mind their own business, and stay at home? Why does he even need a drug to make him immortal? I don’t give a shit if he lives or nor.” he thought to himself.
At that point, another person came from below the decks. He was walking feebly and unsecure towards golden-haird man. It was clearly visible that it was an old, and feeble person. It was clearly visible, even through the night, that he had snow-white hair. The man, playing with his sword noticed him even before he came to the deck. He had some kind of Sixth Sense. He never understood why that is so.
“What are you ding out here Luo? Planning how to overthrow me, I take it?” the old man said.
“I thought you’d know by now, that I don’t care whether I have your place or not, but I clearly see that you mind grew to blurry to see things clearly nowadays. However sad it is though, it will be really a pain in the ass to take your place when you go to la-la land, which will happen sooner or later. That last one is a plus anyway” said Luo.
“How dare you? Didn’t your parents teach you some respect towards the elderly?” The old man knew he pressed on a burning scar, and watched the reaction of the young man.
In a blink of an eye, the sword that was before in Luo’s hands, flew past the old man, cutting a bundle of his hair, stabbing in the mast behind him, cutting deep in it.
“Don’t you speak about my parents, Byakuran. You aren’t worth to do so.” said Luo, angrily.
“But what is that my dear, are you by any chance loosing your temper?” Said Byakuran, in a witch-like voice, clearly enjoying in the anger of the young man.
“No, I’m just trying to tell you that you failed yet again, to notice that I had no parents. Now get off my way, if you don’t want to end on a plate, taking the role of a freshly cut sushi.” The man rose, walked peacefully by the old man, not even blinking with an eye. The old man tried to object, but Luo directed him a look that would scare the hell out of even the Devil. Byakuran stopped, closing his mouth. Luo proceeded by him, taking the sword from the mast in on swift movement, and disappeared under the deck.
In two days time, they reached the mainland and left the ships behind them, heading towards the Todoroki Village. They walked through the dense woodlands day and night. A windy day, they left the woods, and walked through an empty grass field. At a point, when they were about to enter another forest, a group of about 20 people appeared on the trees in front of them. They were ambushed by a group of thieves. They released a salva of arrows towards the group of foreigners. Panic arose, and about 6 people ran to protect Lord Byakuran. They formed a shield around him, protecting him from arrows. Luo stood in place, on his horse, not even flinching, looking at the scenario from below his black hat. His fellow samurai were shot beside him. One of them fell on the ground below him. he pleaded for his help, with an arrow in his chest…
“Please, Luo….help me!”
Luo did not react, but stood there watching him.
“PLEASE!”
He descended of his horse, drew his sword, and stabbed the man on the ground.
“Spare me, please” he said, not changing his tone of voice.
At that moment, an arrow flew towards him. In a blink of an eye, he pulled his hat over, and cut the arrow in half horizontally, making two thin sticks of it. He saw people die around him. At that moment, he heard the angry voice of Byakuran.
“Luo, do something, you piece of shit!”
Luo though about, whether to do something, or just ignore his commander. Funnyly, he choose the first one.
Before he knew it, a thieve fell on the ground, of his tree, with a deep cut in his stomach. On his place, on the branch, stood Luo, with his sword risen. The thieves stopped shooting, and drew their swords.
One of Luo’s men behind, started to go an help him, but another men stopped him.
“No need. Lord Lang will be enough”
Without even knowing, the thieves fell off the trees, one by one.
He then jumped off a tree, and scanned the forest. Then he said to himself…
“Is this the level of swordsmen in this country? What a nuisance.”
Then, a man appeared behind him, with a sword on his shoulders.
“What is your business here, foreigner?” Said the man in an unknown language to Luo.
“I did not understand what did you just say, but you must be good, due to the fact that I did not notice you.”
With his unremarkable speed, he directed a direct thrust to the man’s chest. But to his amazement, he parried.
“You parried, This should be fun, at last…”
