I was searching the web and I saw some interesting things in a forum that coincided with how this manga is flowing.. Kishi is getting to the point where he is very predictable I mean cmon why is this plot turning out to be so similar to Star Wars..

In A Village Far Far Away....

The Orochimaru Menace!- In this thrilling episode, peace is disrupted by a pair of menacing villains! Our heroes fend them off, but the battle ultimately costs the life of the primary sensei character.
The Zetsu Clone Wars!- In this classic sequel, a secret army of clones is discovered in preparation for a massive war!
Revenge of the Sasuke! - A revenge driven main character faces off against those who love him most, fading into darkness!
A New Sage! - The primary antagonist group is blowing up civilizations using secret weapons! But suddenly a hero appears..one with new powers and able to stop the weapon once and for all!
The Akatsuki Strikes Back! - After having it's ultra powerful weapon destroyed, the antagonist group plots to take the main characters powers for their own.
Return of the Rikudō Sennin! - Good once again reigns over the universe as a now fully powered main character faces off against his long time nemesis and loved one, who ends up redeeming himself after an epic battle.

In the end 100,000 Zetsus will be defeated by 20,000 Naruto Shadow Clones w/ Rasengan!U_U

Love it :) Love this picture above all lol! I never looked at it this way. But definately.

As for Sasuke being vader XD Definately lol! They're both completely irational when it comes to acquiring powers with hate... But I think everybody caught that already lol

Not so much on the fixation to compare Naruto Characters to Star wars, but mainly on how the plot is unfolding..

I believe Zetsu will be the final villian..

Naruto borrows material from all sort of places. I mean it's not like we haven't seen a giant island tortoise before right?

Also star wars isn't that original when it comes to storyline, it's pretty much your typical antagonist protagonist story. There is always a bad guy turning good, and lots of times that bad guy whas once 'good'.

Even the matrix has borrowed material. It's really hard to be original as more and more is created every day. And we can all say the matrix is the embodiment of original storyline. Note: I've always found it brilliant that Neo dies at the end. So anti hollywood i love it xd!

Like Avatar (blue people) as good a movie it is cause of the graphs. The storyline is as basic and typical pocahontas/dances with wolves as it gets. A story don't have to be completly original to be good, just a little.

We can always expect the Pro/Antagonist stuff to go on, but as far as borrowing material thats what im shedding some light on.. Im shedding light on how MUCH it resembles the plots course so maybe we can sorta predict some obvious endings to the manga..:)

In the Battle between light and darkness Naruto and Star War have a similar theme, Just as many creation stories arrow n the world speak of the eternal struggle between The Forces of Light and The Forces of Darkness.

That's... That's Impossible!!! O.O

Sure, I see some similarities. Pa Toad (Fukasaku) is basically Yoda except he has a woman. I agree with Honored Sage, it's not like Star Wars invented the story concept. Of course I guess Madara has a new KG with that light-saber action no jutsu, lol.

I have a a plausible argument in favor of the creator of Naruto.

Inevitably, when you write you use 1 out of 37 literary plot models. This, for the sake of being practical guys, is just how you develop a story.
e.g.: -boy meets girl. the family of the girl is against the relationship. Romeo and Juliet

- a guy with nothing in particular is given the crown, everyone wants the crown. Hamlet

All the way till you finish counting 37 ways of telling a story, as if it all were a web woven by the author.

Sitcoms in America have a unique fetiche which is not just telling the story of a character or 2, but extending the narration covering the lives of all of the characters and their descendants, making a show last up til 35 years!! ugghhh

Relating the previous information with our object of concern, Naruto.

When a writer reaches a certain point on how much he or she is telling about their characters (length of the story, characters' background,TIMELINE), how much information is being delivered to the readers, I believe any story goes back to literature's main ROOT. The legend, the myth, THE EPIC.

And well, yeah, all of epics, share exactly the same structure Gilgamesh, Jason and the Argonauts, Mahabarata, Ramayana, King Arthur, Hercules, Samson and Dalilah, etc, 3 KINGDOMS...

Good guy, the bad guys, the sensei, alliances, ruptures, love, passion, defeat, and the final battle.

Common, of course it shares similarities with other contemporary, traditionally based epics!!!!

Write an epic now, write it in 3000 years...IT WILL BE THE SAME SHIT!!! I love Naruto

The story of power is as old as mankind, If you seek power for powers sake you are tainted by the dark side if you use power and work hard to help people you are on the light side.

If your are interested there is an essay titled "The Path Of The Hero", which explains considerable well and in great detail every aspect of a/the hero's story from a-z. It was done by a film critic, however you can apply it to heroes' stories all around literature..

orphaned kid, master dies etc. etc. its an integral part to almost every hero story. naruto isn't particularly innovative so it doesn't come as a surprise. almost all narutoesque stories share a least common denominator.

think dumbledore, obi wan, jiraiya and connect the dots.
