How the 4th Hokage Created the rasengan

im going to tell u all how i got the idea of how the 4th hokage got the idea for rasengan
it first came to me when sasake revealed his new mastery over the chidori
and to be more spercific his full body chidori
then i thought hmmm
imagine a full body rasengan
then it hit me
a full body rasengan is basically the hyuga clan rotation technique
then i thought maybe thats where the 4th hokage got the idea from
so rasengan is a hand held rotation
what are your opinions on this ??

very interesting theory, its possible but i don't think he paid too much attention to the hyuga clan that much

Sorry but not possible Neji's rotation I believe is unique he invented it. Plus what he does is he gathers chakra evenly and consistently and bursts all of it out at the same and at the right time this creates a sphere like dome and his chakra deflects anything thrown at him etc. Plus he cannot continue using it for a long time.im going to tell u all how i got the idea of how the 4th hokage got the idea for rasengan

The Rasengan is chakra rotating yes but its in ALL directions were as say Neji's is like a bomb it goes from the centre out - Rasengan is like a sphere with a concentrated rotating explosion inside it.

Whereas Neji's would be all his chakra pointed outwards from every direction/chakra point in his body in perfect time to create a sphere...make sense.

It's a good theory, Hammy don't like theories it seems, BTW when something is based on something else, it can be, that the base idea came from the it, it doesn't have to be completely like it, maybe Minato just saw the technique, and said. "H*ll yes, that looks coo,l i wanna make a pocket version of that."

Hammy, Neji's kaiten was developed by neji, but it's exactly the same as the hyuuga divine spin technique in every detail. Neji just figured it out without having to be taught by the head family

and tbf hammy i dont think minato would have known the secret to the divine spin tech
and would have developed his own version of it in the hand held form
which then led to the creation of rasengan
well thats my theory anyway
and to Skeetonursheets
as Hokage
Minato would have to keep an eye on all the ninja of konoha
including the hyuga clan
so its possible that while being hokage he saw the divine spin tech being used by the hyuga clan
possibly in the chuunin exams
or something along these lines
but ye my theory was that minato saw the divine spin tech and saw the potential of an attack tech of similar style (a rotating ball of charkra)

^Correct. This is why he can do the tailed beast bomb, otherwise he is unable to do it. i forget the real reason, but i think it's to difficult for him to make. Something like that.

Please stop posting in this thread, this was created before we knew of TBB so there's no point in pointing out the flaws in this thread because it was made before the info was given. This thread was dead and dorment until somebody decided to revive it. I'm pretty sure everybody knows by this point that TBB is the origin of Rasengan, but back then NOBODY KNEW so this theory isn't far off base for the time is created. Just let it die again.

Yes it was stated that Minato developed this technique from analyzing the tailed beast bomb
