The 6th Great Ninja War
Chapter XIX: Will of God
(This week’s theme, I believe, fits the focal guest character extremely well:
Elias: Summoning Technique: Kagutsuchi! (God of Fire)
A huge discharge of thick, white smoke spawned from the large circle of blood that Elias had drawn. The smoke diffused, covering a large portion of the area to the point that nobody could see what lay in store for Ali. The smoke lingered for an extended period of time, and there was utter silence. Suddenly, Ali felt something, like a hot wind, come from in front of him. He heard what sounded like very heavy breathing, as if something, or someone, very massive resided in this deep, heavy-coated smokescreen. Finally, the smoke started to clear slightly to the point that Ali could now see part of a dark, heavy silhouette which had what seemed to be a shifting aura, as if the entity were on fire. Ali squinted, attempting to focus in on the entity, but as soon as he did, what appeared to be a giant, fiery red fist came out of the smoke and punched him high into the air, causing him to spit blood. Ali grunted and looked down, now way above the dense smokescreen. He tried to grasp his sword, except it wasn’t there. Ali patted his sides, but his sword was neither in the scabbard nor anywhere on him. Ali landed safely at the top of a very tall tree. He observed the smoke closely, still seeing the obscure figure hidden by the smoke. At this point, he could tell that it was definitely very large, but strangely enough, it had an almost godly physique, and even more curious, a humanoid posture and figure. Ali waited for a moment. Suddenly, his sword of hell fire was tossed up from out of the smoke, but nothing seemed to make contact with it. Ali caught the blade as it neared him. His eyes widened. Surely he though it must’ve been some sort of bait or a very sick joke. Ali, however, didn’t question the opportunity. He clutched his weapon firmly and swung it down in an overwhelming arc that set free uncontrollable amounts of fire, rivaling the size of that entire portion of the forest. Upon making contact with the fire, the smoke spread apart, revealing the entity as a large (about 15 feet tall), very muscular humanoid figure with skin red like the red night sky. The entity had several piercings on his left ear, a salamander tattoo on his chest, which bore no covering, a sinister smirk on his face, golden yellow eyes that blazed like small suns, and a Fu Manchu style goatee. The entity, keeping his left arm still in folded position, extended his right arm slowly, catching the mass amount of fire released by Ali, and absorbed it all into his hand, as if a singularity was formed at the center of his palm. The being clenched his fist when he had captured all of the fire within seconds and then folded his arms again. The beings’ feet disintegrated and were replaced with a tail-like structure that one would only find to be exhibited in ethereal, spiritual entities. Elias maintained a serious look on his face, staring at Ali and watching his movements closely. Ali had naught but surprise on his face. As he approached the ground, the entity followed him with eyes so devastating that they spelled the words “certain death”. Ali landed sharply on the ground. He stood tall, his sword in hand. Elias was breathing heavily, glancing at the entity he had summoned every few seconds.
Elias: Kagutsuchi-san, I need you to help me defeat this kid.
Kagutsuchi glanced at Elias for a moment, then he spoke in a deep voice.
Kagutsuchi: Hmph…what such jutsu could require my assistance. This boy should have been no trouble to you. True, his fire is quite powerful, but dark fire’s power ultimately surpasses it. Disgraceful, really. *smirks*
Elias: *lifts arm* My hands were cut off…so I can’t form handseals. Besides, for a jutsu of this magnitude, I’m going to need your chakra to make up for my loss of working hands. No one knows Dark Fire like you.
Kagutsuchi: I see. Very well. Let us proceed! My will shall be your death, child!
Kagutsuchi unfolded his arms and then clapped them together, sending a shockwave of air throughout the forest. Yoshino backed away, not wishing to be caught in the blast of what was to come. Hiruzen observed the battle impatiently. A ring of fire—dark fire—brewed around Kagutsuchi on the ground. Elias stepped into the circle, unharmed by the flames. Kagutsuchi lifted one hand up to the sky, and yellow lightning struck his hand, creating a small fireball which he harnessed perfectly. Kagutsuchi caressed the fireball and then promptly launched it into the sky, where it began to disperse amongst the few clouds. The fire seemed to be never-ending, as the source fireball refused to stop expelling fire. Soon, the entire sky was filled with red thunderclouds and a dark red color.
Ali gazed upon the sky, but he realized that he had no time for distractions. Ali launched an amazing projectile of fire from his sword, but unfortunately, it dispersed as soon as it came within the vicinity of the circle of fire, which acted as a powerful barrier.
Hiruzen: What the hell is this? O_O
Yoshino: Amazing. I’ve never seen this jutsu prepared with such magnitude. Such…raw power, such fearful intent.
Ace: What jutsu? O_O What’s going on.
Goro: I think I know. I’ve seen this jutsu once before, when I fought Roku, but the scale on which is used it was nothing compared to this. It’s called…
Elias and Kagutsuchi: Dakkukaton! Desutorakkushon Avvu Fetto (Dark Fire Release: Destruction of Fate)
The sky began to turn rapidly in a spiral shape, like a hurricane. Kagutsuchi’s hands directed the movement of the hurricane, moving his hands around in a circular motion, but keeping a basic form in which both hands intercepted each other midway through each cycle, with one hand following the motion of the other. Kagutsuchi suddenly stopped and kept his left hand out, sustaining the storm. Pressure began to build up. The ground rumbled tremulously and parts of it cracked. The wind blew violently, causing leaves on the trees in the forest to disperse. Ali’s hair blew in his face uncontrollably due to the wind. He ran his hand through his hair, reeling it back to see what was happening. Kagutsuchi gave him a devilish smile and laughed wickedly. Kagutsuchi’s left hand, which was held out toward the storm, was now making somewhat of a gripping motion, as if it was being used to command the souls of the dead. His yellow eyes glowed with such radiance and authority that it seemed no living creature could possibly fathom the intensity, the power held by this creature, this god. At the center of the hurricane, an eye opened up, but instead of showing a clear sky, the eye was as black as night. Kagutsuchi lowered his hand from its positioning toward the eye to Ali.
Kagutsuchi: Now perish!
The eye suddenly poured out a massive, endless quantity of black and dark fire, with a few hints of regular fire blended into the stream. Ali could not move to escape it, and from either perspective, he was covered in the mass of fire before he could even move his feet. Nevertheless, the fire kept raining down on him in a constant stream, the storm beginning to shrink with each moment, seemingly having its essence used to fuel the fires brewed by the eye of the storm. It was surprising that the flames only covered the area in which Ali previously stood, not obliterating the entire forest. However, the trees and leaves started to wither away from the heat. Elias breathed heavily and fell to his knees, unable to handle the exhaust in stamina. Kagutsuchi remained floating, still smiling that devious smile, his arms folded. Goro, Ace, and Hiruzen looked in terror and utter disdain. What a cruel fate such a young man suffered, even if he was the enemy. The fire continued to pour down on him, but the clouds were nearly finished. Several minutes had passed now, and the last major cloud was upon the stream. The last cloud, however, did not fuel the fires in the eye. Rather, it swirled violently and shrunk down on Ali immediately, compressing whatever could perhaps be left of him. Kagutsuchi could no longer remain and he began to fade slowly but surely. Bit by bit, his body turned into particles of red chakra. Then, much to everyone’s surprise, the cloud that compressed upon Ali stopped at the meet of something which formed a large silhouette, about the same size as Kagutsuchi, shaped like an ancient-time yamabushi. The fire suddenly dispersed around the shape, revealing Ali, standing with his clothes tattered, his arm severely burned, and his eyes bleeding out. Kagutsuchi’s eyes widened. As moments of bewilderment passed, it became increasingly clear how Ali survived. A transparent, red humanoid beast with a sharp and long nose, a thick blue shield, the legendary Sword of Hell Fire, muscle tissue and skin of its own, and armor surrounding it, thus covering the true creature that lay underneath the armor. It had a black face, which no features of could be seen but the glowing yellow eyes.
Hiruzen: Is that…
Elias: Susanoo…but…
Elias gasped and instantly coughed up blood. Ali’s sword had pierced through his upper body and part of his lower body. The Sword of Hell Fire, blazing with an aura of dark red flames, was wedged through Elias’s head all the way down to his pelvic area, vertically.
Elias: ………shi
Before blood could even be expelled, Elias’ body was consumed by the flames in a deadly inferno. Ali laughed maniacally. Kagutsuchi reached out to Ali with his hand, but too much of his body had faded away. He could not touch him...
Ali: HahahahahahahahHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I did it!! I finally killed YOU!!! YES! YESS!!!
Kagutsuchi: You are one lucky son of a bitch...
Ace was about to shout, but Hiruzen covered his mouth immediately and pulled him back.
Hiruzen: Quiet! We’re ninjas, not fools. He’s got that insane Susanoo activated. If he turns to us, we’re screwed.
Goro: Let’s get to a safe distance and see if we can take him out from afar.
Ace: How do we do that? His Susanoo is nearly invincible. Nothing can pierce it, especially not with his shield. We can’t run away either. Caliburn, Akira-san, and captain Roku are still in the Hall. If they meet Ali…
Hiruzen: Relax. I’ve got this. I’ve been saving this jutsu for a while. Come on…
Hiruzen, Ace, and Goro leaped several trees away, out of Ali’s sight, but still close enough that they could see the massive Susanoo for themselves. Yoshino stood several meters from Ali, appalled by what had just happened to Elias. Hiruzen peaked from the side of the tree and noticed Yoshino.
Hiruzen: Dammit… O_O We need to get Yoshino-san out of there.
Yoshino screamed with fury, unleashing as much fire around him as he possibly could in his rage. He then rushed at Ali with incredible speed, his tail flailing about chaotically. Ali smirked, panting as he did. His Susanoo raised its blade of Hell Fire, prepared to strike down Yoshino. Yoshino, blinded by rage, did not see the blade coming down on him and dashed at full speed. All of a sudden, right before the sword crashed down on the old monkey, a metal link-chain wrapped around his neck and chocked him, pulling him back just as the sword violently struck the ground, knocking chunks of rock and dirt out of the ground and several trees. Yoshino was pulled back for a long distance, and he passed a group of smoke bombs that were heading in the opposite direction toward Ali. Yoshino landed next to Ace, Hiruzen holding the metal chain. He blinked twice and gasped for breath. Ace loosened the chain around his neck. Ali turned and the smoke bombs instantly exploded against his Susanoo, clouding his vision.
Yoshino: *pant* *pant* *pant* *pant* *pant* You saved *pant* my life…*pant*
Hiruzen: Don’t mention it.
Hiruzen opened his weapons pouch on his leg, flipping a kunai up and catching it in his mouth. Hiruzen then opened his personal pouch on his back and rolled out a scroll quickly, setting one foot on the right end of it while holding the other end up with his left hand. Hiruzen took his thumb and cut it on the kunai in his mouth, using the blood from the cut to write out a series of kanji that read… 電源が破壊する。電源が貫く。電源が終了し、生と死のバインディングを開封。猿飛ウェイ。電源が破壊する。電源が貫く。電源が終了し、生と死のバインディングを開封。猿飛ウェイ。(The power to destroy. The power to pierce. The power to end and unseal life and death's bindings. The Sarutobi Way.)
Hiruzen placed his palm in the center of the scroll. A bright yellow light emanated from where his hand was placed.
Hiruzen: Hidden Ninjutsu of Our Ancestors: The Great Light of Hiroshi Senju!
Hiruzen slowly lifted his hand off the scroll, pulling out from nowhere what seemed to be a bolt-like structure made entirely of light energy and pure chakra. Hiruzen finally pulled out the last bit of the light and grabbed the middle, twirling the 7-foot long compressed bolt of light which teemed with blue and yellow lightning.
Yoshino: What in the world is that? o_o
Hiruzen: I’m surprised you’re not familiar with it. I thought Hiroshi was pretty close to you.
Yoshino: Hiroshi Senju? Yes…I knew him quite well. When I was very young...
Ace: Who’s Hiroshi Senju?
Hiruzen: You see, Hiroshi Senju is the original ancestor of the Sarutobi Clan. He was one of the Senju clan’s most well known members, and he was also one of the most gifted Senju of his time. Even the 1st regarded him as an invaluable asset to the Senju in the past. His grandson, Nawako, became the first true Sarutobi, but Hiroshi held many of the techniques that the Sarutobi clan has today, including the affiliation with monkeys. The heir of the Senju Clan is always taught the secrets of Hiroshi’s most hidden technique. The reason nobody but the Sarutobi Clan heads know about it is because anyone who has ever seen it surely dies.
Hiruzen sensed Ali’s chakra and aimed the bolt of light at him.
Goro: Okay, but what good is it?
Hiruzen: Hiroshi boasted of his secret power his entire life…because
Hiruzen heaved the bolt at Ali with impeccable precision and deadly speed. Ali heard something, and the moment he turned, the bolt caused the smoke to spread out and it pierced trough Ali’s Susanoo’s armor, stabbing him in the heart.
Hiruzen: …he had the only technique that was the perfect counter for the Uchiha Clan’s Susanoo.
Ali fell flat on his face, his Susanoo disappearing immediately after he fell. The bolt stood up, with his heart at the tip, black and shriveled up. Yet, vaguely, Ali had a smile on his face as he died. Perhaps it was purely coincidence. Or perhaps it was the look of satisfaction.
