There is something wierd about Tobi being Madara but but lets think about this as if Tobi is Madara. When Kabuto said " You go by Madara these days dont you?" maybe hes just meaning "You use your actual name now instead of going by your alias Tobi". Also when Zetsu called him Tobi that may be because in a way hes inferior to Tobi/Madara and doesnt feel as though he is 'worthy' of calling him by his actual name.
And with the mask, maybe its not hiding his identity maybe its hiding something else (Ive got no idea what and its probably highly unlikely but im just putting it out there)

I believe that tobi is the shell of the former Madara. Madara somehow infused himself into Tobi's body, to perhaps gain the teleportation technique and the unsolidifying technique, transfered his eyes and his chakara into tobi's body and became a new Madara taking over Tobi. Well Madara a lot of people think are many people i.e. abilities KG maybe?
Basically a Frankenstein Ninja who has stolen a lot of abilities. Kabuto I think just meant ok your going by your real name. About the Left hand side being black against Konan that was definately shadow.

he's as old as hell...if he really didint want to show his face then he wouldnt show it to both Sasuke and Kisame.
2)Because he only told the summit about it recently,he wasnt known as Madara until like 50 chapters ago and Kabuto confronted him 10 chapters after that....
3)Why would Tobi call Kabuto a madman for ressurecting the real Madara?(assuming that Tobi is not Madara)he wouldnt call him a madman for ressurecting Madara cuz even the old Madara possesses no threat to Tobi with his 7 beasts and his army of 100k Zetsus now and if he did ,why didint Kabuto just kill Madara and then go to get Sasuke himself ???(I think that it might be something that can hurt Madara) not to mention that Tobi doesnt even need the Name of Madara now with the power he currently possesses....

1.) My first reason is that Obito's right eye is was crushed under a boulder. So when Tobi parades like he does. His right eye is clearly visible and intact. Explain that to me Obitobi fans!
2.) Second, when you think about it. Madara'smask looks almost the same like Tobi's mask does! (Image directly from the Manga) Now how can you deny that that's not just a coincidence?!
4.) Before Jiraiya's death he has a premonition about who caused the Fox demon or biju Kyuubi to be unleashed on Konoha. I quote from the Manga,"It's said that the Nine-tails was a naturally occurring disaster that just happened to strike Konoha. But recently I've begun to doubt whether that truly is the case... i'm certainthat it was the result ofa very intentional summoning." -Jiraiya. I also quote his other thought. "no.. there.. was one.. just one. Founder of the Uchiha clan. Uchiha Madara." -Jiraiya.
5.) My fifth reason is that Tobi was found sitting on the Head of Madara Uchiha's statue in the valley of the end. I find that suddenly coincidental. Now I ask you, why would Obito be interested in Sasuke and yet end up on Madara's statue? I find this another piece that adds to the fact Tobi is Madara.
6.) Another reason is that when Kakashi, Kiba, Hinata, shino, the wood user (Name slips my mind right now), Sakura, and Naruto fight Tobi in the Manga head on. Tobi used a time and space Jutsu, escaping Shino's bug while being in cased by them. It's said Madara can use this jutsu. Zetsu says he can't travel at the speed of light when Tobi asked him what took him so long. Another proven fact that seems to hold strongly to point out Tobi is Madara.
7.) In the manga it's shown Tobi is ordering Pein to get the nine-tails. Now why would Pein be afraid of a child like Obito? I think It makes more sense since Madara would be older and more skilled at how to kill a person and more knowledgeable in jutsus than poor Obito would. It makes sense Pein would follow a man who is capable of changing the world rather than a kid who might not have that power.
8.) Even pein seems to say that madara is alive! I quote right after 'Tobi' orders pein to get the Nine-tails and Pein kills Jiraiya. "Right after Madara ordered me to capture the Nine-tails." I think that's good evidence really to support the Tobi Madara theory.
9.)Also when the two Uchiha brothers are fighting. Sasuke knows there is a third Uchiha survivor. He even asks his brother Itachi saying he'd be th next one on his list to kill. Itachi said to Sasuke when he killed his clan that there was a third person as well. Even Sasuke said that Itachi couldn't have killed the whole leaf's military police alone and must have gotten help. Itachi answers "Uchiha Madara." Even the Kyuubi said that sasuke's chakra was just as sinister as his own. Just like Uchiha Madara's.
10.) And my last reasoning is... TOBI ADMITS HE'S MADARA! In the Manga after Sasuke killed his brother Itachi, Tobi meets up with Sasuke. He explains to him why his brother killed his clan and why he was spared. But in the end he says that's he's Madara! I quote directly from the Manga "It was me. Uchiha Madara."
Believe me or not. But I base my opinion on facts provided right infront of me. To me Obito is dead and isn't alive. Madara is Tobi. That's whatI believe and stick with. So there you go. I've given you good facts and spoilers directly from the Manga of Naruto. Nothing I've said is made up at all. The manga is at onemanga.com if you wish to read it yourself.

-Pretty obviouse, the first things that give Obito away would be the Sharingan his right eye to Kakashi's left eye.

-Also, recently in the Manga Chapter 395, Obito knows how to use the "Space Time Ninjutsu" which Kakashi says is more advanced by the 4th's, assuming that Obito has learned it from the 4th.
But I'm really leaning towards Obito, especially after this chapter. Yes, it's really hard to think that Obito is still alive, but Gaara came back to life, who know's, maybe someone revived Tobi as well. Remember, we don't know "all" the ninjutsu there is in Naruto, so there could be some advanced jutsu that brought Obito back alive.

My theory:
I believe Tobi is a non uchiha, If you think deeply into my point you would understand me...Madara age is supposed to be 100-150 years, He should look or appear to be old like the Tchushikage. Tobi's Sharingan always seems to be activated only a person with a sharingan implant can do that (Danzou/Kakashi)
I believe the only way he's able to maintain his chakra whilst keeping the sharingan is that he has transfused Uchiha blood within himself and Had Hashimaru Senju's dna inplanted within him. Also Tobi keeps regaining body parts that he has lost...He lost his arms twice yet he comes in the next chapter with a new arm like nothing happened to it..
Madara possed the 'Eternal' Mangekyou Sharingan we have not seen a single evidence in the anime or Manga saying tobi has the EMS.
But yeah I believe, Tobi is a non uchiha who has Uchiha blood tranfused in him and Implanted Hashimaru Senju's dna within him. That is the reason why Tobi's Sharingan is always active..and He doesn't lose chakra because he has uchiha blood trnafused in him, He's hiding his face behind that damn mask to make people fear him that's why he claims to be someone tough and scary like Madara and We also havn't seen him fight..so yeah.
Ps: This is MY theory/Opinion I don't want people replying to this saying "Your Theory is this..that..etc"

IMO, I think Tobi is an non uchiha, Who claims to be the "almighty" Madara Uchiha.

Thats enough. Obito is dead, as one of member has mentioned this before he was a lil kid when he was dead and madara did fight with 4. hokage as an adult man and there was just a few years between these two incident.
And as itachi mentioned before if one is not a real uchiha, he cant use sharingan as good as uchiha ppl.
madara was able to save his ass from itachi's ameterasu and we can see that he really is good, and tsunade is a granny and she looks like a sexy young women.
