Hi, I'm not really a GFX designer but I'm trying to learn some simple stuffs with Photoshop. I have CS5. I did an avatar of my pic last week and used it. However, I've run across this sub-forum and something hit me.
Hehehe, people here share what they think of each others' work and I thought that mine is just so terrible.
So instead of getting opinions that I wouldn't know of, please drop then here. I could use some tips to improve.

Here's the ava I made out of a pic of me:

And here's what I did with Kakashi:

I can take straight to the point comments like: terrible, bad, will do. And then, a few advise and guidance, too I hope is not too much to ask.:)

Well, basics are really important you know. Understanding the concepts and principles makes things easier to be learned and mastered on (imo).:)

good to see someone actually taking the "learning" part seriously instead of just writing "cnc are welcome" and when they get some critics, they tell ppl to shut up etc.
:) keep it up

Well, learning means facing what hurts. And the truth certainly hurts and that's not bad at all. What's bad is when you do not do anything about it. It's like passing over a stone that you've tripped on and fell, and then trip on and fall again the next time around. xd:D
