Well i do not use any kind of antivirus program.. since it's using too much CPU to simply run scan and other things i just use an DL-Analyser that warns me everytime i attempt to dl infected files ;] so far i haven't had problems with any kind of virus

Not really, I'm well aware why. That is WHY i decided to not have any AV program installed on my os. I know pretty much when it comes down to computers so I just decided what is best for my computer since it's not a good one and i need it to be as fast as possible after all i do way too many things on it.

My family is not rich it's rather poor but im slowly but surely collecting money for a new PC in which hopefully i'll just have an AV and wouldn't care much how much pressure it is for the Central Processing Unit to handle the operations that an AV does.

PS: I am SOO off-topic :x

I didn't mean to offend you or something, I just wanted to make you aware of the fact that the best way to avoid viruses on your computer is to let an anti-virus program scan for them once in a while. It's also the best way to keep your computer working as long as possible. ~Just some advise from me :)

I thought this information might be beneficial to some of you.
We ran a few tests today on a Windows 7 box running Panda (firewall and malware scanner).
Panda did really well as a firewall. It was average with malware. Basically, it will pick up the typical random malware, but nothing specifically directed at you.
Hope this helps someone.
