0_o I kinda doubt that an audio tune could really cause you to hallucinate. Most audio frequencies affect the brain by causing it to shut down or cause pain responses but I don't think that they can cause hallucinations since that type of response is likely caused by chemicals found in recreational drugs like mushrooms, cannabis and acid. If you honestly believe that you can hallucinate from just listening to music than you obviously have no clue what a real hallucination is.

Plus most Absinthe that is brewed anymore doesn't actually contain the hallucinogen since it has recently been allowed to be imported back inside the USA.

What was the drug in Absinthe? Was it an opiate?

Good for you.And that`s your opinion.Human brain is a powerfull thing,if you think you are seing a tiger, you will surely see it,i ain`t saying it was clearly for that, maybe subconciously i wanted to see one.:|

And about absinthe,i don`t know why,but it really does have the effect i described.

Its also the opinion of the majority of the scientific community and most of them are smarter than me so i'd saying its a pretty accepted opinion. As for you seeing a tiger, I highly doubt you actually saw it, i bet you just fell asleep after you supposedly had a orgasm and dreamed that you say a tiger than woke up and believed that it was a hallucination and equated your hallucination with the music that you were listening to. Sound and Soundwaves can cause involuntary bodily functions, but generally they are pain, nausea and other wanted bodily functions. Its not the sound thats doing it, but its the waves associated with them.

some Absinthe does because the plant use to make the drink coupled with the higher than normal alcohol content causes a chemical hallucination. Because of that, it was banned in the USA and other countries but that ban was recently released in the USA because absinthe has started being made without the plant that causes the hallucination.
