Giyu had travelled far, arriving at Hokurikudō Island carrying the five severed heads of the arali he had slain; The Twins of Chains, The Collector of Echoes, Ascetic of Thorns and the Librarian of Pale Ash. The island greeted him by swaddling him in mist and ruins. The shoreline was jagged with pale rocks, and craters as if large boulders had struck the shores. Broken cliffs and destroyed buildings was most of what was left on these shores. Every step inland that Giyu took gave way to cold tides and the smell of stone, moss and grass, mingled with the smell of ash and blood from nearby towns. Giyu waited at a cracked ridge overlooking the island. He was searching for the place where he could find his brothers and sisters in the darkness.

Reed, Order of the Golden Amputation

Word had reached them of the one who'd shown their worth in endeavor to purge the world of the divine scum, yet where their drive and loyalty truly lied was yet to be questioned. The fact they carried the heads of the slain demons showed they weren't trying to hide their acts. At least they showed their resolve in that sense. He'd been waiting for a sign from Mara, but Reed wanted to meet the man himself.

Emerging from his concealment, Reed made his way through the ruins. These served as nothing more than a memory of THAT day. Yet a sense of familiarity always brought Reed here. This was where it had truly begun. He walked forwards approaching them man. His armour and symbols concealed under a travellers cloak.

"Good day to you Sir. What brings you and your... hoard... to this wreck of a village? You wont find much here," he jested. He wanted to see how the young man would react.

Giyu was trudging through the ruins of a place he had never known, yet he was told to find the most northern sanctuary and he would find his people. As he walked, his katana was sheathed on its side, and multiple scars across his shoulder and legs would be visible through his somewhat torn clothes that had been sewn together with makeshift pieces of cloth. The sack filled with the five heads of the angels that he had slain did not feel heavy at the time, but the bottom of the sack had turned a dark reddish hue from the blood that had soaked it.

It was past midday when a figure emerged from the ruins, a stranger wearing a travellers cloak. What was he doing out here in the ruins? and why was he approaching Giyu of all people.

Giyu stopped in his tracks, holding on to the sack that was slumped over his right shoulder, as he looked at the man with curious blue eyes. "Good day to you as well Sir. What brings me here? Well... to be honest I don't know. The only thing I do know is that if I went here I was told I would find like minded people." Giyu put down the sack next to him. "My name is Giyu Tomioka, but people who know me simply call me Giyu... and my hoard as you call it is nothing more than angel heads of those who tortured and imprisoned souls of innocent people... I guess the hoard was a way to show my resolve for what I believe in."

Giyu sat down on a nearby tumbled over stone wall, as he pulled out an orange and a knife and began to peel it and eat it as he looked at the man in front of him. "What about you, what does someone like you do out in these ruins... and what made you approach me of all things? Perhaps you have some kind of interest in me?"

Reed observed the mannerisms of the young man out of the corner of his eye. Something about him felt off. He spoke of resolve yet his attitude and words held none. He almost seemed like he was past caring. It would seem as though the riddle had lead him here. But was this truly where they were meant to be. Could they be trusted? Were they really seeking the same goal as Mara?

"Hmmmm, good question. I guess a sense of familiarity draws me here every so often. The screams still carry in the air. Don't flatter yourself lad, you aren't my type. You're the wrong gender to start with." Reed jested.

"I have my interests and they carry me on my path. A path laid by the past the carries me to my future. What do you want in a land like this? It ain't exactly a sight seeing place."

Giyu stood again looking at the man in front of him, he was clearly jesting at Giyu for he did not see this man to exactly be the kind of man to fancy another man. But there was something a bit off about him, but he could not tell.

A sense of familiarity, perhaps you experienced the horrors of the past here…” Giyu said as his brow furrowed, he was rather curious.

What do I want? For starters I did not exactly plan this journey myself, it found me, I walked through a world where none listened to me or my family’s plea for help, I brought vengeance to my family as I killed the demon who slaughtered them…. I went to the darkness below the world, found how angels trap the souls of the living and use them as fodder for their own gain.. angels and demons are the same to me, terrible beings who don’t deserve our love or our reverence.. so you ask me what I am looking for here? I guess I am looking for other people who care about humans and want to rid the world of these creatures, I look for the strength to defend my people!” Giyu said.

perhaps Giyu did not notice but he had stood up and taken several steps toward the man, his eyes stern and looking directly into his eyes. It was only when he stood perhaps less than 8 meters from the man that he realized he was angry, that his hand had tightened around the hilt of his blade. Yet as he looked at the man his hand fell to rest and hie eyes softened again. “My apologize for the outburst… afterall why would you care about these things as much as I do…”

Reed remained still, listening, waiting, observing. The kid sure had resolve, but was it channelled in the right way? Only time could tell on that front. Time was always the greatest test of one's character. Reed saw the same burning passion in Giyu's eyes that he'd seen in Mara's on that day here 2 years ago. He'd come this far it was time to give him a chance.

"You have something I like about you kid. You're just what the order needs."

OOC: Reed goes on to explain the inner workings of the Order to Giyu leaving out all the important details such as locations, numbers and secret plans. He explains that they have been building power and plans and needed more to join their ranks. The details of this conversation are not to be made public. He finishes by holding out a hand to accept Giyu now he was all the information. Should he be accepted, he shall be granted the rank of: Vowed Pledge

Giyu listened without interruption as Reed spoke, committing every word to memory while understanding just as clearly what was being left unsaid. When the explanation ended and Reed’s hand was offered, there was no hesitation. Giyu stepped forward and clasped it, his grip firm but restrained, the gesture more oath than greeting. He did not speak vows aloud; he had learned long ago that promises carried more weight when borne in action. The title of Vowed Pledge settled on him like a mantle he had already accepted the moment he chose this path. Afterward, he inclined his head in respect, turned without ceremony, and departed the way he had come.

[Coming From Here]

One down, many more to go. The problem was, his targets were scattered around the world. No, he needed a new tactic. He himself would have to seek the one with the rinnegan. He had another plan to seek the others. With a single seal he made three clones. Each already knew his mind. It was time to seek his weapons for the future while he waited for their return.

All three clones departed:

C1 - Heading north across the ocean to 160
C2 - Heading south west across the ocean to 001
C3 - Heading south to the Kanashii ocean 261

Chakra of each clone: 2100/4 = 525.

As they all travel on boats, they sit still replenishing chakra while the real Akira does the same while remaining on the island waiting for a guest.

It seemed it was all coming together slowly. Oberon had sworn his loyalty. The jinchuuriki to the south was in his debt. There was the one who controlled ice who seemed to have forgotten his place, but he'd come around eventually. Akira would just have to wait for the remaining clones to complete their tasks. With that, he'd be ready to make his move. Maybe it was time to make contact with... them....
