Looks | If you saw Barney on the street you would give him a look twice, just to make sure you're not imagining things. Truth be told, Barney is like a sore thumb for the eye, with his dirty blonde hair and his unconventional dressing style which fulfills his mad scientist look. Albeit his looks are an advantage thanks to his ancestry tree with a long history of good looking individuals, it is also a curse because women simply can't resist him. Unfortunately, sticking out like a sore thumb is also a disadvantage in cases when Barney wants to lay low and keep his privacy to himself. This is the reason why he is wearing a dark, heavy and worn out coat that is aimed to mask his presence and help him blend in with the masses during his endeavors in the ninja world. When he is out and about though, he is wearing a white doctors coat that has a chestpocket and an inconspicuous pair of trousers that allow for fluid movement. On his head he has a wonky pair of goggles for when he's working in his laboratory. He is of average height and constitution but can still pack a punch or two, albeit it's not his forte.

Personality | His early life wasn't easy and as a kid he wasn't able to cope with the burden of the events he has been through. He never met his mother and he witnessed his fathers death which left deep scars on his personality. He never learned to control his feelings and thus he fell under their influence and he let them carry and guide him since he had no paternity figure to do so. A good part of his life he didn't know of anything other than hatred towards the world, because he blamed everyone for the death of his family. As time passed he learned on his mistakes and how to control himself, let the hatred go and become a ninja of highest skill. He learned what it meant to be a selfless, calm, caring and collected person, although from time to time his depressed dark inner self manages to escape out on the surface and express itself in horrendous ways.

Who am I?

It took a while for Barney to regain his senses. His limbs were tingling, heart racing. His nervous system was firing signals to the brain, overwhelming it. His head was pulsating with pain and a big vein bulged on the right side of his forehead. He was pale and sweaty. Slowly, he calmed himself down with deep breaths. He kept clenching his fists and staring at them, as if they weren't his hands. He was sitting upright on his experiment bench, as if he was some kind of experiment himself. What's going on? What is this weird feeling? I feel powerless. He kept thinking to himself, something was amiss. As much as he was trying to recall his memories, he kept drawing blanks. Relax, focus. Calm down. Deep breaths. His brain wouldn't listen. With a deep sigh, he launched himself from the bed onto the floor but the legs beneath him collapsed. He planted his nose onto the cold concrete of his laboratory. At least that's what he was certain of. It was his laboratory. However? Why is my body not listening to me? Have I been asleep for so long? How long? Was I conscious? Why can't I remember? He lifted his face from the dusty concrete floor and glanced around. His machines have stopped working, some of them blinking in a standby mode. Only a few emergency lights were on, making sure that the lab was dimly lit. Only mere minutes have passed until he was able to slowly lift himself up and balance on his legs. For Barney though, those minutes felt like hours. Powerless hours. What a disgusting feeling. I hate weakness. He turned around and leaned with his hands on the bench. Looking at the palm of his left hand, he concentrated and started molding his chakra. Small amounts started surging through his body, channeling into his hand. Rasengan, he whispered silently while gasping for air, but nothing happened. His chakra wasn't sufficient. Did his body deteriorate so much that he lost all his abilities? All his memories? How long, for Christ's sake, was he out of it? Suddenly, in the corner of his lab, he saw two red lights at eye height on one of his machines. Two bright lights, close together. A shiver went down his spine as he remembered seeing two glowing red eyes. Somebody did this to me, came to his realization as he lowered his head and caught a glimpse of a circular mark on his left forearm under the sleeve of his lab coat.

Horrible nightmare

Regaining memory

Upon exiting the lab and resurfacing on the Yume island, Barney made sure to find his way to the nearest civilization. His goal was to slowly and steadily make his way into the world of the living and to regain his old self, if anyhow possible. Following the lights in the distance while crossing Gaikotsu Bay, he came to a small fishing village and made his way along the shore until he met Ralph. Their story evolved quickly and ultimately ended tragically. At first, Barney helped Ralph and they became good friends but business parted their ways, until businesses intended for their paths to cross again, but faith didn't. Barney found Ralph dead on his own doorstep, defiled by a wild animal. The business that took Barney back to Ralph started a way back actually. Namely, Barney revealed to Ralph that he was a ninja and that he was looking for fellow ninja as well. Thanks to the advice from Ralph, he made his way to Khulna where he spent a good while in a rented room. There he spent most of his days practicing on the training grounds until he met a strange guy that could fly. It was Alucard with his edo Zev. As he got to know Alucard, he found out that he had powers beyond Barney's imagination. To prove it, Alucard entered Barney's mind and went for a walk around his memories. Although they appeared like a blur and indistinguishable Barney could access them later. They found out that Barney was a member of an ancient clan, the Yuki. They, were powerful wielders of the rare ability to manipulate snow and ice. That would explain why Barney woke up in a laboratory in the middle of a frozen island. Alucard, Zev and Barney had a crazy night partying and getting smashed until a mysterious voice forced its way into their mind. Barney thought he was too drunk but Alucard seemed disturbed and concerned. He formerly invited Barney into his organization before making way to his duties. Barney was still too green and needed some time alone to live and experience life before accepting such a commitment, thus he declined Alucards invitation, but he promised to revisit this decision once he gets stronger and further explores his newly regained memories.

Hellsing Organisation

As time passed, Barney gained more experience by doing various missions, some from the noticeboard and some from his own accord. He managed to meet two of his old seahorse summons, Kingdra and Aeolus, as well as defeat two little delinquents and kill a robber in a brawl for some stolen items. Killing that man and taking the stolen items was wrong and Barney knew it, but it was out of his control and it felt good. It was as if something horrible took over his body, controlling his actions and emotions. That was the moment when Barney decided that it was time to talk to Alucard again and later he would discover the body of his dead friend Ralph. On his way to Alucard, he stopped to give his condolences to Ralph's wife, only to learn that she passed away as well. It was a gut punch but Barney had to overcome the emotional attachment and continue forward. Upon entering Dainashi, he was left in awe at the scene he witnessed. A massive man made city carved into the belly of a mountain, all under control by his friend Alucard. Who would've thought? Upon his arrival, he interrupted Alucard's business with an acquaintance called Hawke. It was a short affair so Hawke left with a grandiose exit and it was time for Barney to tell Alucard why he came all the way up to Dainashi. Barney was ready to accept the proposal to join the Hellsing Organization. These words were delight to Alucard and he was happy to accept him, wishing him a warm welcome. Or it could've been the heat from the magma that was flowing around the city. It was a hot grotto in there and Barney needed to cool himself down, so as his first official act as a Hellsinger, Barney made his way towards Yume Island and his laboratory in order to claim it and make it into his stronghold.

Dainashi

Setting his foot once again on Yume Island marked a new era for Barney. He was finally making a name for himself in the world and it was time to make it official. Barney was back. He made a few rounds around Yume to get acquainted with it and to seek out and perish any life that was left over. To no surprises, there was nobody there. Barney had the whole island for himself. It was just him and the never ending blizzard that protected the heart of the island, just beneath the inactive volcano. At the feet of the volcano, the entrance to his lab was covered in deep snow. Without much hassle, he made his way in and started cleaning up the lab to make it his own. Once again. Within the piles of books he found one that struck his interest and he took it to ask Alucard more about. It was "Tiamat and the history of her Children". Once again, the usual route was Yume-Dainashi so Barney set sail. Upon entering Dainashi, Barney didn't find Alucard, but instead his second in charge, Integra. She was a serious office mouse, from what Barney could tell, but she had a knack for messing with him, biting her lip and insinuating indecent thoughts. Barney resisted the urge as his mind was set on power. He needed to talk to Alucard, pronto, but he was nowhere to be found. Perhaps something happened to him? Perhaps he was ambushed and injured badly? Just as Barney was running out of patience and decided to leave, Alucard appeared. Before he could tell him that the mission was an accomplishment and Yume was conquered, Alucard told him that he never got the chance to properly welcome him to the Hellsing Organization. A proper welcome in the form of an initiation through fighting. His opponent would turn out to be Zev, Alucard's edo. Barney was no match for Zev, though he did stand his ground until he got carried away and Zev used that moment of distraction to knock Barney out. Thanks to Alucard, the fight ended and he helped heal Barney while Zev helped restore his chakra with the chakra transfer technique. Suddenly, Zev's star chakra entered Barney's chakra system and he became Star Touched. It was uncertain whether he could utilize the newfound star chakra and he definitely needed training to assess his abilities.

Champions of Humanity

Not much has happened after his initiation brawl with Zev. He wandered across the world for a while, chasing some of his goals although he was blinded by his lust. Instead of focusing what really mattered, he went chasing after Hawke, the Inuzuka and leader of The Brotherhood. It gave him some good insight, at least, into what Hawke was up to. Apparently he was moving gold en mase and was preparing to shake up the world when Barney found himself in the middle of a ruckus in Khulna. The masses came out to the streets to celebrate the victory of the Champions of Humanity, a group of brave and powerful shinobi that he hasn't heard of yet. This made him curious enough to go visit Alucard and ask him about it. Instead, there he found those very same Champions, commencing together for a formal meeting of the Hellsing organisation. Lo and behold, they were his clan members. Hei seemed like a troubled mind. His powers were vast but they took a toll on his mental health. Naruto seemed like a cheerful guy, while Captain Panthalassa struck his interest. The meeting didn't amount to much, other than some more information about the happenings in the past as well as some crucial information about Tiamat. Upon ending the meeting, Barney took Panthalassa to his island where they would practice for the upcoming danger that Hei was rambling about.

Irkalla

Traveling with Panthalassa

Up to this point, the world has seen a lot of turmoil and unexpected events. The fight that happened in Irkalla between the Champions of Humanity and one of the Voidlords has actually brought nothing good to the world. Death has been paused, and immortality spread like a disease throughout the world via the Prismatic plague. Those old, sick and injured persevered through their struggles and only became a burden to their close ones. The cities quickly became overpopulated and scarcity of food became a real issue. This caused unrest in the Land of Fire, which was most hit by the disease of immortality due to its dense population. The unrest was largely unorganized until a figure decided to step forward and spearhead the operation against Madara. It was Captain Niashin. On their journey through the Land of Fire, Barney and Panthalassa sided with the rebels and, out of pure boredom and curiosity at first, participated in a number of tasks that were meant to advance the interests of the rebel faction. Upon finally meeting with Niashin, they were presented with choices that would ultimately shape the rest of their lives. Humanity was at stake and choosing sides was a risky bet.

Reintroduction of Death

When Barney and Panthalassa left Captain Niashin's camp, puzzled about what to do and how to proceed, they couldn't fathom what was about to happen. Deep beneath the ground in the east of the Land of Fire, a battle took place between Nefarian and Isabella Uchiha, unbeknownst to the world. The consequences this battle caused were immeasurable. Upon her defeat, the wicked voidlord Nefarian reintroduced death to the world out of spite as he was the one responsible for its removal in the first place. This resulted in an instantaneous death of a large population of the world, causing an unprecedented event in the history of mankind. After this moment the world would never be the same and its fate was in the hands of the Champions of Humanity and those that were yet to become one. As Barney and Panthalassa were entering the outskirts of Fuging, they had a sight to see. Bodies piled up in the streets, scattered across the whole city and the remaining living wishing they were dead instead. The children of the deceased were the hardest to look at. The immeasurable loss they suffered would leave a scar on them for certain. Heck, it left scars on both Barney and Panthalassa, each in its own way. Seeing the death plague taking the people by storm made Barney realize that he had to try and do something for the better of the world. Together with Panthalassa, he decided to follow the orders of Captain Niashin to demolish the Kage mansion in Tanigakure as a sign of rebellion against the leadership of Madara. Upon doing so successfully, albeit succumbing to injuries, Barney and Panthalassa were met with Alucard and Lilith who were brief in their appearance. As they were traveling back from their meeting with Marzan, where Alucard had his God Slaying Tool forged, he saw the two of them with his Tenseigan and decided to make sure that they seek out Marzan themselves to get their own God Slaying Tools.

Death

God Slaying Tools and Goddess of Water

When they met Marzan, they had high hopes for the crazy God Slaying Tool ideas they had come up during their travel, however, they kissed a brick wall when they were politely told that they were crazy. Instead, Master blacksmith Marzan suggested to incorporate some of their ideas into tools that he could create and sent them off to gather the ore and lumber necessary for the process. Outside they met with Heishiki who took them across half of the world within an instant, which to date is one of the most epic moments in Barney's recent history. The ability to reappear at a different location within a blink of an eye suddenly became of great interest to Barney. His mind started getting overwhelmed with all the possibilities the world handed him and it was a real puzzle how he would put all the pieces together. His main goal still being to pursue Tiamat, he noted to research more about space and time ninjutsu when he would get the chance. At the most recent moment, the trio has been spotted in the Badlands of Earth, where they split with Heishiki and started their journey of gathering the ore.

Seven Arms of the Unifiers | Goddess of Water

Having found the long lost sword known as the Goddess of Water, Barney once again became an Arm of the Unifiers. It was a title awarded to those holding the unique weapons, which were first discovered in the remains of the Hangurian Empire’s ruins, buried deep underground. The swords were rumored to be the weapons of war wielded by the first of the Hangurian Kings and no one truly knows how or when these weapons were formed, but since their discovery a long and violent trail of bloody exchanges followed it. Be it through war or through betrayal, one thing that has been certain about these cursed weapons was that the wielder would inevitably meet death, his own or those around him.

The Goddess of Water can only be wielded by its true owner, the one person that has his soul and body interwoven with the sword. As such, if his specialties align with the abilities of the sword they gain additional perks. The Goddess of Water is an indestructible sword, strong enough to cut or pierce through C rank and below jutsu, being able to increase to B rank for the field it is strong against, namely Fire Release. Additionally, it allows Barney to passively release from Genjutsu up to two times per battle, flushing any non MS grade or equivalent Genjutsu of 50 chakra and lower from his chakra circulatory system. This however works only if the sword is held when trapped in the Genjutsu. At last, the sword grants Barney the usage of Water Release techniques with increased potency, resulting in a 20 damage increase while reducing opponents Water Release techiques by 10 damage. Last but not least, Barney's specialties are interwoven and enhanced by the sword while allowing him to utilize Water Release techniques without the need of handseals.
(Ame-No-Mi-Kumari) - Goddess of Water

Description: One of the weapons formed during the Golden Age of the Hangurian Freehold, Ame-No-Mi-Kumari is a dark blue and silver hilted katana with a sea blue blade, created from Hangurian Ore. Little has been known about this blade, it’s history a legend. All that is known is the black metal ore that created it allows a chakra bond to form between them and their rightful wielder, gaining augmented skills in the process. Ame-No-Mi-Kumari grants a 20 damage increase to Water Release to holders. In addition to this, it reduces damage done by opposing Water techniques by 10 damage.

A unique ability of this blade is its ability to synchronize with it’s wielder, granting access to unique abilities based on the Specialities of the user. Should the user have a Water Primary Specialty, the passive 20 damage gained will become 30 instead as well as becoming neutral to other Basic Elements. Should the user have a Primary as well as Advanced Specialty related to Water, then the passive 10 damage mitigated will become 25 instead and they will gain the ability of Mystic Devour (A passive use of Hidden Mist up to mid range from the user, the mist absorbs enemy health by 10 per turn and splits half to user or user’s allies once stolen, rounded to nearest 5). Should the user have all Three Main Specialties (Primary, Secondary, and Apex) aimed at Water Release, then the wielder will gain the ability to submit their own Bonus Specialty related to Water Release and the katana he wields.
Note: Ame-No-Mi-Kumari allows the user to utilize Water jutsu without the need of seals.
Primary Specialty | Enhanced Water Handseal Specialist

Through extensive usage and knowledge of the Water Release, Barney became a Water Handseal Specialist. As a Primary Water specialist, Barney learned and adapted water techniques in such a way that allows him to perform them with a single handseal, although they still have to be double handed.

Through the enhanced specialty by the Goddess of Water, the passive 20 damage increase from the sword has become 30 instead, as well as making Barney's Water Release techniques neutral to other Basic Elements.​
Advanced Specialty | Enhanced Advanced Elementalist

As an Advanced Elementalist, Barney is capable of using Water Release techniques with 20 more damage than normally. This counts as one of the two allowed boosts a technique can have. This cannot be combined with other Damage Specialties.

Through the enhanced specialty by the Goddess of Water, the passive 10 damage mitigated from opponents Water Release techniques has become 25 instead and grants him the ability of Mystic Devour. Mystic Devour entails a passive use of Hidden Mist up to mid range from himself, wherein the mist additionally absorbs enemy health by 10 per turn and splits between the user and his allies once stolen.​
Apex Specialty | Enhanced Apex Handseal Specialist

As a pinnacle of his devotion to Water Release, Barney can perform its techniques without the usage of handseals, though he must still perform complimentary and logical body movements related to the technique. This applies even if said jutsu does not have specific movements detailed in its description.

Through the enhanced specialty by the Goddess of Water, Barney was able to put his extensive knowledge and devotion into developing his own Bonus Specialty related to the Water Release.​

Due to his Yang training, Barney gained heightened vitality translating to 1000 chakra increase to his natural reserves. As well, his physical durability increased significantly, allowing him to reduce up C-rank damage (30 dmg) from physically damaging techniques like any nin, tai, and kenjutsu. As well, he is immune to recoil damage from techniques that cause it like Forbidden, though he still succumbs to the jutsu's other subscribed affects.​
CFS Specialty | Surreal Palm Specialist

The illusionary aspect of this style revolves around mutual genjutsu techniques and layering rules. When the user moves, he places the same genjutsu on both him/herself and the opponent. This is what makes the user become able to spiritually battle other illusions alongside his/her body movements. But the techniques are still restricted by the normal Genjutsu Layering Rules. The techniques are all capable of countering genjutsu, and other mind-altering techniques, but are not limited to it. The genjutsu used within the style can stand on its own, and be used in its natural conjunction with taijutsu for purely offensive (and supplementary) usages, not requiring a host genjutsu.

Awareness of the genjutsu comes naturally according the user's rank. A practitioner of Gennin (Academy Student) rank is aware of D rank genjutsu, Chunnin (Genin) up to C rank, Jonnin (Chuunin) up to B rank, Sannin (Jonin) up to A rank and Sage (official) up to S rank. Awareness does not mean immunity, it simply means they know their senses are being manipulated, and thus they have to do something about it. Masters of this style are capable of awareness 1 rank superior than their normal rank, and, same wise, bypass the genjutsu layering rules up to 4 times per battle, allowing them to use techniques 1 rank lower than normal to defend from a genjutsu.​
Advanced Fuuinjutsu | Body Seals

Upon completing the Medical School course and becoming an official Doctor, Barney chose to specialize in the field of medical fuuinjutsu techniques. This field allowed him to use his medical knowledge in order to apply advanced seals to his body and use it as a medium. Barney had a few advanced fuuinjutsu seals applied to his body and they served to help him in the battle when he would find himself at a disadvantage.

Description: The seal of the Water God is a special seal developed for the purpose to aid the user in tough situations. The seal itself is a circle of kanji surrounding the kanji for "Divine" in the middle. The user himself is the seal and can manifest it in any part of his body he wishes. The seal only works against Water techniques and is a very good defense against them. The seal activates and draws in any nearby water technique into himself, storing both the water and the chakra it contained inside of it. The seal can then serve multiple purposes:
-Reverence of God: The user will use the sealed, chakra infused, water to boost the damage of another water technique. Once he has absorbed an enemy technique, he does the handseals or rituals, needed for his own technique and, instead of its normal release, releases the technique from the seal itself (generally manifesting it in his hands). The end result is the water technique that the user performed with the addition of damage of the technique he had absorbed. The damage added is equal to the chakra points absorbed. Can be used 2 times.
-Divine Will: The user will use the sealed, chakra infused, water to combo with another elemental technique. Once he has absorbed an enemy technique he does the handseals or rituals needed for his own technique and, instead of its normal release, releases the technique from the seal itself (generally manifesting it in his hands). The end result is an elemental combo of both water and the element of the technique he performed. The rank of the combo is equal to rank of the elemental technique used although becoming a dual elemental technique. Can be used 2 times.
-Touch of Drought: The user will manifest the seal in both his hands and absorb any nearby moisture or water into the seal in a mere moment. This can be used to negate weather patterns such as clouds or mist but also to make it harder to breathe or to drain water sources. This can also be used to, upon touching an enemy, induce a temporary dehydration to the enemy, making him stumble and lose focus as well as stamina and strength, as he feels dizzy and weak. The effects last one turn. Can be used 2 times.

Description: This is an advanced Sealing technique, triggered by a Seal that's located on the left arm of the user's body that's written with a large Kanji letter "Absorption" this seal has some of the user's chakra already infused in it, the seal sends pulses of chakra around the user within Short range from him, once there's an invisible gas with chakra infused in it that's near the user, the Seal glows in a bright yellow color and activates, quickly forming an invisible barrier of chakra around the user's body, this barrier absorbs the invisible gas making it harmless to the user's body, another aspect to this technique is that when the barrier absorbs the invisible gas, the opponent wouldn't have any control over the gas that's being absorbed, meaning he cannot reshape it or cause it to explode due to the user's chakra being around it

(Fūinjutsu: Jō Kōken) – Sealing Technique: Imperial Guardian

Description: This technique is composed of a sealing formula that remains active until triggered, this sealing formula bears the Kanji letter of "ガ" or in literal meaning "guard" which is located on the user's upper arm. This sealing formula erects an invisible barrier that's made around the user at all times but does not actually cost the user a move until it activates, the barrier works by detecting the chakra of a fast incoming technique and deflects it, causing it to dissipate and leave the user unharmed, the barrier's deflection ability is only triggered by a fast moving technique, basically a technique that can't be tracked by normal eye sight and requires at least a Sharingan or similar means to track, the barrier that's around the user detects the speed once the technique collides with the chakra released from the barrier that's around the user and the sealing formula glows suddenly, causing the barrier that surrounds the user to repel the incoming technique within short range of the user.
Note: Can only be trigger twice per battle.

Description: After witnessing countless techniques, Dean created a specific seal that is placed on the summonings he owns, with the Kanji, "Stay". This seal would contain a set amount of chakra, and would only be triggered when someone uses a technique aimed at making a summoning disperse back to its homeland. This seal would activate, and release a surge of chakra from it, capable of flushing out the foreign chakra aimed at making the summoning disperse. The two would clash, and disperse, leaving the summoning unharmed and leave them to remain on the field. The seal is placed onto all summonings before hand, and is always on them when they are summoned into battle, though it should be mentioned in the biography.

Carrying with them a special designation, Void Infused, these artifacts are heavily centered on the Official Rolls system of the NRP, paying homage to their nature derived from Chaos. Void Infused Artifacts center around the idea of your biography becoming Void Infused by fulfilling certain conditions. A biography can hold up to five Void Infused Artifacts, counting as their own unique category, separate from regular Artifacts. They can be used in the Battle Arena, but are unique to the character they are present on.

Upon activation it will cause the user’s next three Genjutsu cast to require no hand seals and have the Chakra in them increased by an additional 10. Can be used three times per battle.

Description: A basic automated siphon tool attached to the users back and designed to passively absorb and store the users chakra. This Nin-tech is able to sense foreign chakra and then pump all the stored chakra back into the user creating a shock that spikes and restarts the users chakra flow. This allows the user to break out of Genjutsu using the chakra surge method, being able to release any genjutsu, excluding Yin and MS level Genjutsu, so long as the surge of chakra released into the user is higher then the chakra used for the Genjutsu. This Nin-Tech is able to store up to 100 chakra into it, taking up to five turns before it reaches capacity. If the user has Senjutsu, the siphon can still absorb the senjutsu like chakra and release the Senjutsu back into the user, following the foreign chakra/energies release method of Genjutsu, instead of the chakra surge method. This allows the user to break any genjutsu, including Yin release genjutsu however it cannot break Mangekyou Sharingan Genjutsu. This Chakra Siphon begins absorbing and storing the users chakra at the beginning of battle and stops absorbing once it reaches capacity and/or when the chakra/senjutsu is released back into the user. Requiring a two turn cooldown period before it begins absorbing chakra/senjutsu again. While the siphoning of chakra is a passive ability, the release of chakra back into the user will still cost a move for that turn. Lastly, this Nin-tech cannot be used to enhance techniques in any way. The chakra/senjutsu released back into the user does not replenish their chakra or senjutsu reserves. Only working to release foreign chakras and genjutsu under one of the two presented methods.

(Kaihou Kasugai) Automated Clamps

Description: A basic automated clamp designed to read the electrical input of muscles contracting allowing the user to simply flex in a specific way to release them. These clamps are integrated into Leg Weights to hold them in place. Allowing the user to simply flex their leg in a specific manor to passively release the weight giving them freedom of mobility. These clamps give no added bonus or benefit other then releasing the weights in a more versatile way, better suited for combat.
