Will Enkidu show up if I call him babe, or does that only work if you're the one to say it, Solomon?

She said, bemused by Solomon's visual prowess. She felt exposed before his eyes.

I see your journey has been bountiful as well. I have never felt any Doujutsu like the one you currently have. Are you a Witness as well?

She revealed the new term she had learned, hopefully harnessing some information from the Mage King
Solomon tilted his head, "Bountiful, perhaps. Or perhaps enlightening. Revelation comes to us in many ways. But Enkidu is a grown adult now, at least by our overly simplistic standards. He travels the world just like I did when I was younger." Though Solomon took pause, noting her interesting use of the word Witness. Though who she was a Witness for only the Mage King knew now because of the Satorigan. His Revelation had transformed him, just like how it did seven-hundred and fifty years ago. He could see beyond humanity now, peer into the Divine, and glimpse the ever-shifting nature of reality. "In a sense I am a witness for myself. But perhaps in another sense I am a witness for humanity. Though in your case, you are a witness for something far more sinister." He stepped away from her, motioning her to follow. "Come, let us sit at the beach," said Solomon.

Isabella walked behind Solomon in silence. The beach calmed her, even as the word sinister left her mind racing. She had her doubts about the identity of the one she was serving, but she knew better than to outright divulge she was exciting and willing to do it. Especially since Solomon seemed to be in a mood to continue speaking about it.

No doubt it was more peaceful by the waters. They faced eastward toward Tobusekai, Solomon's ancestral home and the home for most of primordial humanity. He deactivated his Satorigan, eyes reverting to their normal appearance. "No doubt you want to know more about this sinister force. Sinister is not an adequate term to describe what it is. But first, tell me of your journey. What has changed you?"

This question was most likely a test. Either a test of honesty or a test of trust. Isabella would not e able to lie, case Solomon was asking with knowledge of the answer. But would she be able to trust him enough to tell him, in case he didn't? She could refuse, but that would only make things harder on herself.

There are many that earned the same eyes as mine. I've met quite a few in my journey.

She paused, thinking back on the fiasco at the Library. She had been bested by the long hair duo, and gain little to nothing from the endeavour, besides a reinforced sense of inferiority against that which she cannot face right now, like the dimensional abilities of Madara's Rinnegan.

The Shinkaigan grants different abilities to each user. Kinrah dispaired at her visions, and in her atempt to escape from it acquired speed second to none. She flickered in and out of reality. But when I spoke to her, something caught my atention. She has no Specter.

She wasn't quite sure how to explain this next part, but she felt like this was the biggest difference between her and those that possessed the ability to see the Void.

My Shinkaigan is attached to an entity that I have faced and spoken to many times. I call him a Void Specter, and the dimension we're in feels both like reality and a dream. At first I thought him to be a mirror of myself, and I wondered if other Voidseers had a shade of their own. But they don't.

I have traveled back to Eridu, and found it empty of the Sentinels. I attacked the tree, and it impaled me, briging me back to the same dimension where I met the Specter. I had not made the conection at first, for it turned into a place in my past and memories. But that event served to reassure me that this entity was not a reflection of me, but something that wants to learn through me. I have linked it to my visions of an 8 Eyed Serpent that roams the Void and locked Tiamat in her prison. But the Specter called it the Timeless One, the Harrowed God, the Destroyer of Possibilities. And it said I was one of its Witnesses.

She paused, wondering if there was any detail Solomon wanted to know, that she was unknowingly ommiting. She closed her eyes and when she opened them up again, the Mage King had a pair of blood burning red eyes with 3 dotted black tomoes gazing back at him.

I think this is what sets me apart from the others, yet I don't know why. I don't know why I am diferent from them, nor do I understand why being killed by Nefarian and brought back to life made me like this. Was this not a gift from him? Did he not understand the consequences of his actions, or did he merely underestimated the powers that he was experimenting with?

Solomon took a deep breath and sighed. "It's name is Abzu," said Solomon. He stopped there for a moment, enjoying the sound of the waves cresting and then brushing against the serene shoreline. Even here, now, he knew that reality was wavering, bending, shrinking in horror at what was shifting in the Void itself. "Your death, and subsequent rebirth, was likely manipulated from the Void. When Nefarian cut you down he might not have known the full extent of his actions. I suspect not, given that the Voidlords and their master serve Tiamat, the Primordial Goddess of Life." He inhaled again, sighing as he rest his chin on the palm of his hand looking out to the blue tides. He was aware of everything now; Demetrias's presence in the Armory, Emiya's struggle, and even Merlin's infection. The world was changing so rapidly.

"Chaos is Order waiting to be deciphered. That is how Tiamat was shaped, ordered from the primordial Void. The Universe followed suit. If we are to take the ancient stories at face value then it begs a simple question: what is the nature of the Void?" Solomon shifted his gaze to Isabella, looking at her pensively. It was not a question she could answer, at least not yet. Though her eyes were slowly but surely glimpsing that terrible truth. "You are a walking duality. An existence that treads the line between two truths. One of our world, this universe, and the other of the Void, the primordial state of all universes. But which is more real? How do we know?"

Why is Chaos akin to Disorder? I enjoy Chaos for it brings about Change. Order is idleness. If I stand between two worlds, I expect both of them to be real. Is that really the most pertinent reason? Do we have to be abide by one being "realer" than the other? I don't know if I'll have to chose between the Void and the World, but if it will ultimately be up to me to pick, then I pick the one that gives me the most power.

Instead of wondering how we can know which one is realer, I would rather know which one is better. And for that, I need to understand them more.

Solomon sat there for a moment in silence. He turned his gaze again, this time out to the ocean. Power. "The Void is a complex physical and mathematical phenomenon, yet it is the simplest construct in all the universe. The Void is both a space and a point in time; they operate in tandem but also independently. If you were to follow the umbilical of history in search of some ultimate atavistic embryo, you would end your journey marooned in this place known as the Void. It is the beginning and the end. But it also exists concurrently to our own present reality. That is why you can isolate it as time, space, or both - spacetime. Tiamat was the "first consciousness." She, after her creation, consciously shaped her children, the first gods and goddess: Marduk, Enlil, Nergal, and Inanna. Ponder the question in this sense: if the Void is Tiamat's antecedent, then it would mean life arose initially from formlessness. It would mean that consciousness came from nothingness. Chaos given shape is no longer Chaos. Tiamat was no longer synonymous with the Void when she was shaped into primordial existence." He paused again, believing that this explanation would at least somewhat explain the nature of this thing they called Void. But it was not enough, not yet.

"Perhaps you are right. It would mean both are true. It would mean there exist multiple realities simultaneously. A question to consider: what if the biological phenomenon of your dualistic Dōjutsu was not the result of some anatomic reawakening, but rather of your connection to multiple realities. What if you, Isabella, are not the product of a single truth but multiple. What if you are in fact two Isabellas that exist simultaneously?" He stopped there, letting the gravity of the question sink in. In time he would address the question of the relative value.

The question felt like a drop of water into a stilled lake, yet simultaneously like an entire blackhole crashing within an empty galaxy. Isabella shook in two, like a split vision, before dropping her body onto the sands of the beach. Solomon might not have understood the depth of his words inside someone like Isabella, even though he was fully aware of the weight of his speech.

Inherently, this thought was heavy. But to Isabella, this thought ate her like an unsatiable parasite. Maybe the greatest Genjutsu Sage that has ever lived, Isabella was no stranger to the manipulation of the mind. Yet, deep inside her, there was this crippling fear of the loss of her identity. This was set firmly in a layer far bellow the reach of any Illusion, Yin Manipulation, Spiritual Influence or even Loss of Sanity.

If two Isabellas coexisted within her, which one was she, and which one would be lost?

It took a while for Isabella to find her grip, but ultimately she would need to strengthen her own resolve, even if she was faced with her most primal fear.

I don't have an answer to that, Solomon.

She paused.

But I will not balk under pressure. I have voiced this before, but I will shout it once more. I feel like an ant thrown into an hurricane. I do not understand what is happening, and I can't battle at the level of these gods and primal entities. But I know myself, and I will fight tooth and nails until I win. Teach me how to kill a god, how can I kill Nefarian? And if another me takes over, I will lay the foundation for her to be just as much of a nightmare to my enemies as I ever were.

In the end, I need to know more.

She fiercely bore her eyes onto Solomon's

But am I the only one faced with a choice here? What about you? What choice are you battling right now?

"At this point to kill Nefarian is to kill a god." He stated it matter-of-factly. "Then you must seek out a God-Slaying Tool. They are the great equalizers for humanity. But why kill the god that gave you your power?" It was an honest question; Nefarian might have killed Isabella, but if her ultimate goal was power then why pursue revenge against him if he ultimately gave her that very power?

But before he let Isabella answered he said, "The choice of interference. It is...new to me." He held his hand to his chest, still feeling the same lightness that he felt when Nannar pierced his chest with Suen.

Are they available now? How can I get them?

She exclaimed, not sure what brought about this chance in the old Mage. Was this something to do his "choice of interference"? The gesture of raising his hand to his chest did not go unnoticed by Isabella. Guess he's no stranger to death either.

It's about principle, the power doesn't disappear just because it was used on one target.

"It's hard to say. Maybe soon. But principle? Are you only driven by hollow vengeance? Is there no deeper meaning to Isabella Uchiha, woman of two realities?" Solomon responded, wanting to dig deeper into her motivations to seek out Nefarian. "What will you do after you slay a god?"

Yes, the principle of a god meddling with who they shouldn't. In the end, despite their power, their motives and urges seed infinitely human in nature. And because of that power, they tend to forget themselves and look down on those that are weaker with repugnance.

Isabella's sharingan analyzed every microexpression of Solomon, but he was nearly a blank slate, no way of knowing for sure if Solomon's question hid within his disapproval or her, or merely curiosity. It made her aware of her base level once more, 3T Sharingan wasn't the highest Doujutsu she has ever had, even though it was tremendously enhanced in her hands.

To claim my motives are hollow, did you lose track of your humanity as well? Is love hollow? Is hate hollow? Is the quest for significancy and relevancy hollow? What makes you a human, if not your need to put your mark in the world? I've worked for my stature and abilities, and I will not have my life journey be puppeteered by Nefarian, whose power and age inflamed his own ego to think I am bellow him.

She has been nothing but honest with Solomon. She hoped that he would trust her, despite their thoughts not aligning.

I am, still. But with your help, I won't be. In the end, killing him or sparing him, I just want to play on equal field with him.

Then her eyes glimmered in the light of the ocean. Her lips turned into a slightly devious side-smirk.

I don't know what will happen after that... but leveling the field, that doesn't sound so bad, does it Solomon?

"It's fascinating isn't it? That gods themselves seem very human at times. Just look at Enkidu; from my experience with him he'd likely seem to be a mostly normal human from an outsider's perspective." Solomon paused for a moment, contemplating the implications of her actions and emotions. It was complicated having an Uchiha acting as a Witness for a cosmic entity.

"I never left my 'mark' on the world. Do you care for a story, Isabella?"

As a king, you have placed your mark in the world whether you like it or not. I know you've taken a backseat for several centuries, but it's about time you use your choice of interference to ask less questions and give more opinions. Tell your story, I have been wanting to know more from you

Solomon narrowed his eyes for a moment as he pondered Isabella's curious take on a past she had yet to fully learn. "Hundreds of years ago across this ancient body of water in front of us I built a temple. It was a temple in my name, the Temple of Solomon. It was my final act as king of Israel. I had received no revelation to build it, and yet its purpose was not a monument to me. It was a monument to humanity built by superhuman forces. A bit contradictory looking back, ha!" He managed a single laugh, eyes still turned out toward Tobusekai. The ancient Eastern continent was at peace now after a year of turmoil. Phetra's armies ravaged it. But the Queen of the Dead was gone now, lost to the Void. "But have you heard of the Temple of Solomon? A great marble structure built ahead of its time? Something that stood tall over the rest of Tobusekai? It would be impossible because the temple was lost to time. Because I built it not with the intent to last forever but to represent finality. It was a structure made for its time, not for eternity. And for the most part this has held true about my own life. Who knows of Solomon? I could walk into a marketplace and shout my name to the stars but no one would know it. The commoners would know the Great Three Founders sooner than they might recall the name of King Solomon the Wise."

He paused again, turning back to Isabella. "I tell you this because you are at a crossroads, even if you might not know it. Every decision you make will shape the cosmic being that looks through your eyes. The mark you leave on the world might be deeper and far more pervasive than any king could."

I think you're underestimating the weight of your name. Then again, the world is large and our influence is not infinite. Not even a god's.

She pondered about his final words. Her semi-compliment to Drackos served more to disarm and give her time to think. Then she voiced:

How will I shape him? Is the knowledge I'm gathering what is molding him? Can I even control that transformation?

But who is he? Why does he need me?

Who tf this Drackos guy?

Solomon laughed for a moment. It wasn't directed at Isabella, but just the significance of her question. Or rather, in this case specifically, the insignificance. "It's hard to say. But I'd venture a no. Controlling a being like that would be akin to trying to catch smoke, or fight the tides. But need is a strong word to apply here. Abzu does not need anything. If anything, the entire operation of the universe needs it. We exist because of it. Our very presence is predicated on an operational universe and a system that functions - without Abzu, we would be nothing. Because Abzu is the universe."

Then why me? Cosmic coincidence?
How should I proceed henceforth? Besides, if I am a witness, I want to instill respect onto him, I want him to witness how humans may be frail and flawed, but also unpredictable and powerful. Solomon, is there any way to stand up to Divinity besides the God Slaying Tools? And if not, can you bring me to where they are?

Solomon smiled at what Isabella said. It was both true and beautiful: the majesty of humanity. Their capability to be powerful and flawed, unpredictable and frail. They were the inheritors of a cosmic estate that was left behind by the gods when they departed this world and left humanity to its own devices. Whether that meant destruction and thievery, or civilization and prosperity they would let them have their freedom to choose. "Discerning motivations of an entity that lacks any humanity is impossible. You attempt to fit the cosmos into a human body, equating its machinations to that of a single human with understandable motivations. Put simply, it is impossible. But it does see. And perhaps your actions will shape its behavior. The God-Slaying Tools are the great equalizer. They were crafted by man and are not predicated on some inherited or learned power. But there are other ways." In his hand Solomon conjured a small dancing orb of cyan-white sand, gently floating there. It was Suen, or Wisdom - the Divinity governed by Nannar, the god that had killed him before Anu returned him to life. "Divinity itself. It is possible for humans to learn this power, though at great cost. Though it is far more complex than a God-Slaying Tool, wielding a blade or an axe against a Divine being." There was a third but Solomon omitted it, choosing to keep atavistic techniques a secret for now.

(Suen: Oushi no Tsukinokami) - Wisdom: Winged Bull of the Moon God
Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 50 (-10 per turn)
Damage: 100
Description: Winged Bull of the Moon Good encompasses the basic use of Suen, allowing the user to manifest a cyan-white sand in an area. The technique is invoked in conjunction with the user’s Chakra, controlling Divinity in unison. Suen can be manifested from the user’s body, through the ground, or even in the air itself. Suen cannot be manifested within short-range of an opponent unless the user is also within that range, in which case it cannot be manifested in direct contact. Through this technique the user can manipulate and form Suen into a number of shapes. Winged Bull of the Moon God carries properties of Wisdom. Its damage is inflicted physically with incredibly abrasive properties. Suen is an intrinsically volatile substance; when it comes into contact with sources of heat, like Fire or Lava Release, Suen can detonate into a magnificent blue inferno. The explosion is typically proportional to the size of the Suen produced. Because it is a Divine substance the damage inflicted by Suen can only be healed through the use of Divine physical healing. Medical Ninjutsu heals the damage inflicted by Winged Bull of the Moon God at a rate of 50%.
Note: Usable five times per battle.

Isabella recoiled from the Suen. Like half her body was actively repelling the power that Solomon wielded. Yet the other half was drawn to it. Her sharingan picked up that something was being omitted, which made her ponder if there was something else that Solomon wasn't ready to tell her yet.

She studied the Suen, but had absolutely no clue how to harness it.

How did you acquire this?

She was enthralled by the power. But she caught herself.

It matters not, this is your path to take. I will follow something else. If you had deemed me worthy of receiving either the Power or the Tools, you wouldn't be beating around the bush. So let's focus on these eyes.

She activated the Shinkaigan. She was curious to know if she would see the sanity drain from the Mage King's eyes as well.

These eyes are incomplete. The gods have hinted at a place further west than our maps can reach. I think my journey leads me there. Do you know how to upgrade these eyes and acquire more of it's secret?
