Good, however don't forget Fuinjutsu also utilizes barriers as part of it's moveset. We'll touch on a few of those later on but let's start with understanding the sealing/absorbing of techniques mechanic in the roleplay. So this is something that is entirely new to you; but it isn’t hard to understand either. So in the roleplay, absorbing or sealing based abilities such as Dark Release or Fuinjutsu absorbs it’s target based on its chakra value. That means, if a seal ahs a chakra value of 50, that means it can seal a technique that has up to 50 chakra in it. However if you try to seal a technique that has 60 in it, it wouldn’t work considering the chakra value of the opposing technique is too high for the seal to handle. In some cases, some people have jutsu’s that can increase the base amount of chakra by +10 – which can increase the sealing effectiveness of the seal, i.e like above if you have a seal that can seal 50 chakra but gain a +10, it can instead seal 60. Simple enough, so it becomes very good over time. The next thing to note is that these types of abilities ignores the damage calculation step. Meaning that regardless of how much damage a technique might have, once its chakra value is within the seal’s capacity, it will absorb it. A technique carrying 40 chakra but was boosted to 120 damage? A seal of 40 chakra easily absorbs it and wins. Seem simple enough?Fuinjutsu is an advanced form of ninjutsu dealing with sealing chakra, people, animals, inanimate objects, souls, etc into other things. There are 6 parts to a single fuinjutsu. You have the target which what the the fuinjutsu is intending to seal. The medium, which is what will contain the seal. People, scrolls, objects, etc will suffice. The trigger which is what activates the seal. This can be a handseal, words, or even death depending on the specific jutsu. Next is the binding which was what allows the medium to become a medium. This is usually handseals or kanji. Perhaps even both. With fuinjutsu being a form of ninjutsu chakra is needed. And lastly a key. The key unlocks the seal and releases the fuinjutsu.
So in all, Fuinjutsu is an advanced form of ninjutsu that seals a desired target into a medium using a mixture chakra and binding to later either be activated via a trigger or unlocked via a key.

It makes actual chakra based mist; which means that Sharingan, Rinnegan etc will be blinded by it. Of course the only exception is Byakugan since they aren’t hinder by most things and can pierce through it to see what’s going on. Also the rank part is basically Chunnin and Special Jounin (Now Genin, since Academy Ninjas cant use Fuinjutsu), Jounin (Now Chunin) and S Class – Sanin (Now Jounin Rank). This being based on how the new ranks work after being cut down again.Light String Jutsu not requiring any handseals or movements make it seem ideal for a close quarters combat. In cqc the target probably isn't focusing on the ground. Perhaps even having a shadow clone perform it in order to trap the target and leave them open for an attack.
So first of all is this a chakra based mist capable of blinding even doujutsus or is it a regular mist that Dojutus can see chakra through? Also Im not sure how those ranks translate into the current RP. But this jutsu is similar to hidden mist jutsu, but it blocks sound from outside. Ideally the user will either want to put the target in the midst while either they themselves or an ally being outside the mist can attack them without the target hearing. A sensory bio would also be at a massive advantage here whether theyre the target or user since they still will have some capabilities of perceiving what happened outside the mist.
Well, that's not quite the issue here. Remember how I mentioned here: https://animebase.me/threads/learning-the-sealing-arts.780943/post-22084866Sealing trap explosion is actually a pretty decent technique. I wouldnt use it on a flat open area like a tile floor, but It would be an excellent jutsu to use on a grassy floor. The technique could very easilly be discreetly placed in the dirt and it would be hidden from the opponent. It is also activated by the opponents chakra so jutsu can set it off as well.
Four black fog isnt the best jutsu for combat. It requires the user have a container and it pretty hard to get a person in it and keep them in it. And it only lasts 1 turn anyway.
The elemental sealing method requires "prep". It is a hard stretch to say that while a jutsu is incoming, you pulled out a scroll and writing utensil, opened the scroll, wrote the name of the element on it, and THEN weaved 4 hand seals. If the approved bio states that they already have the scrolls prepped with the name of the element written on them, then the jutsu becomes a lot more plausible.
