Whatever tickles your pickle bro ^^

Bubblegum Ninjutsu is the ability to shape and mold bubblegum into explosive substances that detonate, This is or can be refered to bubblegum manipulation which allows the users to chew and mold soft gum into several shapes and sizes that, when solid, are able to be detonated to cause great damage. However the user isn't immune to the effects of these explosions meaning if he was to be within the blast radius or if caught within the. he too will have to defend from their raw power; Bubbles can also be used to float and travel on which could be useful to avoid tech's but risky as the bubble could potentially explode.

We'll go with analysis, then. You're currently S-Jounin, right? If so, we only got one technique for now.

( Shogai Gamu ) - Gum Wall
Type: Defensive/Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user manipulates existing gum to form a large oval shaped bubble in front of him that he uses to defend incoming attacks. Stretching to cover a short range area, the bubble is 5 meters long but only a few meters thick. When struck and detonated, it creates a localized explosion of various colors, depending on the color of gum used.

A technique where you will manipulate existing gym, to form into a large oval shaped bubble. This can be used to defend against an incoming attack, and basically spread before you. Once hit, it can explode in the color it is.

Isnt there one before that? or do i have to wait until jounin for that one?

Pretty basic justu the user will use some chewing gum stating what colour it was as this can affect the justu later on seeing; as the wall forms and get hits it will detonate and giving a explosioon of the chewing gum colour that was used which can be used to mask your movements and allow you to be unseen with the next attack.

Alright, simple enough.

Next one is a simple projectile type technique, with some nice side usages. I don't know if you've seen the mastery route available for Gum, if you have and are interested we can go over those conceptually if you want.

( Kibakugamu ) - Explosive Gum Jutsu
Type: Offensive
Rank: D - A
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 10 - 30
Damage: 20 - 60
Description: The user manipulates his chewing gum into a single bubble that he sends towards the opponent. Upon popping, the small bubble explodes to knock the enemy back, binding him in sticky gum to prevent movement. The explosions also produce a large amount of colored smoke, which can be used to obstruct the opponent's vision. These bubbles can either burst on their own if pierced or on the user's command.

I have had a look at the mastery route there 3 sets red, yellow, green, but i would like to go over them as it would grasp a better understanding anyways, i think i can remember them red was explosive and varied from helping widen an explosive range or to power up red gum techniques only, Yellow i cant remember much on and i can remember only one from green which was healing type of gum and you couldn't have them custom without medical training first.

yes technique pretty simple and very nice helpful in different situations and can be adapted to help ones strategy depending on the needs of the user.

Alright deal, we'll go over them and their routes. For now you've essentially reached what you can use due to your rank.

Before we go into the different types of bubblegum and their effects, do you know how the mastery system works?

No run me through everything I'm guessing that its something like the more I use the specific item for example red gum it levels up the more i use it?

Alright, so first off, masteries offer you the ability to take a skill to a new unique level. As of right now, it's only available to Inuzuka & Bubblegum. So to have the opportunity to master a skill you must use your 'unique' specialty slot for it. Once that's done you can begin doing missions/battles to move up the 'mastery level'. The levels are Adept 1 - 3, and Expertise 1 - 5, with Expertise skills only being available after you reach Adept 2 of your skills. As of right now, the Adept skills come in groups of three, so going through all of them would be quite the long time consuming task. Additionally, these mastery levels you gain do not transfer over from one bio to another, so let's say you had a bio with bubbelgum and you dropped it for another pairing with bubblegum you would lose your progress. So going down that route is going to require quite a commitment.

Despite the huge commitment, the abilities offered would be quite useful, as the system is made to make 'weak' abilities eventually reach tier 5 abilities in terms of power.

Masteries in depth if you want a more deep look. We can go over them regardless.

Alright, deal. Starting off, it would take your Extra specialty slot, so that's not too bad of a tradeoff, as you can still have a noce build to your bio via the available routes. These are the specialties, if you're unfamiliar with those lmk, and we can talk about them too. They're mostly clear, but some questions can pop up, so if any do lmk.

Onto, mastery. So after you've selected the specialty, you can begin unlocking and upgrading your levels. So I mentioned Adept being 1-3, and Expertise being 1-5. With Adept, you have 3 passive abilities you can learn, with each having 3 levels to it, so a total of 9. To move from one level to other, you must fulfil these criteria.

Adept Tier I: Complete two battles in the Battle Arena, or two B-Rank Missions in the Ninja World. Interchangeable.
Adept Tier II: Complete three battles in the Battle Arena, or three A-Rank Missions in the Ninja World. Interchangeable.
Adept Tier III: Complete four battles in the Battle Arena, of these three must be won. Or complete eight S-Rank Missions in the Ninja World. These are interchangeable. Must hold your biography for a minimum of five months, while also holding the Tier II of this Adept for two months.

This applies for each one of the passives, so you can see where this can take some time. Luckily, you can select your Expertise route after getting each of the three to 2, so that's not as bad as it could be. When you select your Expertise route, it's only one route you can take. Once that's been selected, you have to work on upgrading that one as well, also through a similar, but stricter requirements. This goes up to 5 levels, with the time and effort needed being quite a bit, but eventually worth it. These would be the requirements for Expertise.

Requires the user gain Tier II of each Adept Skill in order to unlock an Expertise.

Tier I Expertise: Complete three A-Rank missions, or three Battle Arena fights.
Tier II Expertise: Complete three S-Rank missions, or three Battle Arena fights. One of these fights must be won.
Tier III Expertise: Complete four S-Rank missions, or four Battle Arena fights. Of these fights, two must be won.
Tier IV Expertise: Complete five S-Rank missions, or four Battle Arena fights. Of these fights, three must be won. Tier IV Expertise can only be unlocked after holding Tier III for two months.
Tier V Expertise: Complete a special mission issued by a Ninja World Moderator or win four fights in the Battle Arena consecutively. Tier V Expertise can only be unlocked after holding Tier IV for three months.

Now, if you're down with all of that, we can discuss the routes available for bubblegum before proceeding if you wish. Of course if you have any questions feel free to ask away.

Nah im good on the speciality's now i reread them all, and your detail of your explanation hit everything pretty well tbh, The masteries levels is simple to follow also though i didnt know about not having one selected this is good seeing as i havent picked one yet. only one question say i pick a speciality and after long time mastering the one route could i attempt to mastery the other ones? like i know this would take an insane amount of time to do but is it possible?

But yes i want to discuss the routes just so i can have an better understanding plus anything i want clearing up.

Unfortunately you can only select one path to master. Alrighty, so for Bubblegum while there are 3 coloured routes, there is the 3 basic usages that are also part of the passives you can get. They are Red (explosions), Yellow (blinding), and Green (healing). The Expertise route would have you build on one of those. So, let's get into the expertise paths.

Starting with Red, it's expertise is Big Red Bomber, which has 3 passives and 2 actives. The are as follow:

Big Red Gum (Passive): A specialized type of Bubblegum that builds on all of the user’s Red Gum. Big Red Gum increases the shockwave damage potential of all Red Gum from 50% to 75% of the original damage within the same range radius

A good starting point, as it builds on the Red explosions. So for instance if it was used on an S rank Red Gum explosion technique, it's shockwave would deal 60 damage rather than 40.

Shaped Charges (Passive): The user becomes able to passively shape the directionality of explosions created through their Bubblegum Ninjutsu, removing any prerequisites of height difference or location as they can perfectly control how the explosion is shaped. This does not increase the explosion’s range

This enables you to control the direction, helping you avoid allies or yourself.

Micro-Explosives (Active): In close quarters combat the user is able to activate Micro-Explosives to disrupt an opponent’s Taijutsu or Bukijutsu combinations. The user detonates small pieces of their Big Red Gum unleashing small shockwaves in short-range. These explosions deal no damage, but knock enemies back by one meter and interrupt their Taijutsu/Bukijutsu attacks. This technique costs no chakra to activate, making it effective at combinations.

This is cool, as it enables you to mess with your opponents while potentially gaining an edge yourself through interruptions and whatnot.

Infused Charges (Passive): A passive enhancement to the user’s Micro-Explosives. The user can choose to infuse chakra into their Micro-Explosive, making it more powerful. This causes it to inflict 60 damage and cost 30 chakra. The benefit to this is that it retains its potent speed, capable of keeping up with Taijutsu techniques even in close range despite needing to infuse chakra. This can be performed three times per battle, once every three turns.

Increases the damage of the previous ability, allowing it to cause damage.

Deafening Shock (Active): A stronger version of the Micro-Explosive. Through their Big Red Gum the user can pop a single bubble of Gum, unleashing a devastating explosion with significantly more range than a Micro-Explosive. The explosion is capable of reaching up to long-range, inflicting 130 damage. The speed of the technique and its lack of hand seals makes it advantageous to use in dangerous situations, but does not activate as quickly as Infused Charges. It can be used twice per battle, once every three turns. Those who hear the blast, including the user, suffer from tinnitus for two turns.

A strong explosion that can cause wide scaled damage.

This path I believe is the simplest and most direct one, albeit not the most unique version in my opinion nor the one I'd opt for. Any thoughts/questions on it?

Alrighty, now onto Juicy Flash, which like the third one is weirdly named, but let's not dwell on that. So similar to before, this Expertise path entails 3 passives and 2 actives.

Juicy Fruit (Passive): A specialized type of Bubblegum that builds on all of the user’s Yellow Gum. The effects of the flashbang can now blind Doujutsu and targets that are otherwise immune to blinding effects. Even closing one’s eyes does not prevent Juicy Flash from blinding a target. Juicy Fruit blinding effects last for two turns.

This is decent, as it can cause some annoyance to opponent's that do not have some form of extra sensory beyond their eyes, with it being effective on Dojutsu being also a good addition, especially as it lasts for 2 turns.

Yellow Flash Illusion (Active): A technique activated within the same timeframe as the user activating a Yellow Gum based Bubblegum Ninjutsu. This layers a B-Rank Genjutsu in with their technique, causing targets to experience a permanent flash of light blinding them within the illusion until released. This inflicts no damage and can be used three times per battle.

This is also decent, though the Genjutsu being B rank means it is not as effective on a bunch of bios, such as those with Passive Genjutsu Kai and whatnot, but I can see some usages when combining it with Juicy Fruit to have both illusionary and real flashes to annoy opponents.

Illusory Manipulations (Passive): An enhancement to the user’s Yellow Flash Illusion; allows the user’s B-Rank Genjutsu placed through Yellow Flash to also carry with it the ability for the user to launch illusory attacks within the illusion. This causes the blinding effect in the illusion to wear off as normal, but afterward the victim will see whatever attack the user wishes to show them. This causes the illusion to inflict 40 damage.

This one's pretty cool, as it can serve to confuse your enemy and put them in spots they don't want to be in, or simply steer them into acting in certain ways that would benefit you. With it being passive that's a nice little disturbance.

Rapid Flash (Active): Activated within the same timeframe as any Yellow Gum Bubblegum technique. Upon bursting a Yellow Gum Bubble the user will cause a series of three successive flashes of light. The first blinds all targets physically, the second passively applies Yellow Flash Illusion, and the third once again blinds targets. This in effect allows the target to be blinded for a period of four turns, rather than two. Can be activated four times per battle.

Well, talk about a lack of vision. Pretty direct and clear, but the thing with these flashes is that it only blocks off one sensory method, meaning those with other ways to sense wouldn't be as hindered, unless you explore those options through customs.

Deceptive Flash (Passive): Passively applied to any Bubblegum technique that uses Yellow Gum, this enhances the effects of Yellow Flash Illusion and Illusory Manipulations significantly. Raises the rank of the Yellow Flash Illusion to S-Rank, causes it to inflict 80 spiritual damage, and extends the effects of Juicy Fruit to five turns. Can be used three times per battle, once every four turns.

This is quite the buff, making the flashes way more annoying to deal with, but once again, those with different sensory methods have it easy.

Spiritual energy/damage refers to damage inflicted to the mind/spirit, such as genjutsu or unique Yin techniques for instance. In this case, it's through Genjutsu.

And finally, the third path. It has 2 passives and 3 actives, with it being the path I would have probably went for based on how I fight.

Five Gum (Passive): Five Gum further augments Green Gum’s potential healing. Allies within one range radius larger than Green Gum’s explosion receive the same benefit the user does. Increases the ratio of health healed from 20% to 30%.

Simple enough, allows you to heal your allies that are within range.

Breath of Freshness (Active): An active technique that causes the user’s next three Wind or Wind Release-based AE/CE that are released from the mouth to be infused with a Breath of Freshness. This technique can only be activated after causing an explosion with Green Gum, and lasts until the user has expended three Wind Release or Wind based AE/CE thereafter. The user’s breath carries with it potent healing properties, healing all allies within one range radius larger than the Wind technique used. The amount healed is based on a rate of 20% of the Wind technique’s damage. Can be used twice per battle.

This is interesting, as it can be combined with a wide array of stuff, allowing unique usages that be used to heal allies while applying pressure to the opponent.

Aftertaste (Passive): Aftertaste is the lingering effects of Breath of Freshness. For all allies struck by Breath of Freshness they will passively have Aftertaste applied to them, healing for half of Breath of Freshness’s healing rate (10%) per turn for two turns after.

Another direct one, not much to add.

What is it Like (Active): Activated at the cost of a move but done within the same timeframe as another Bubblegum technique that utilizes Green Gum, this technique causes the explosion of a Green Gum bubble to ripple outward one radius larger than the technique, knocking back all targets by 10 meters. While it inflicts no damage, it is effective in creating space.

This is nice, as it can enable healing others while providing space to breathe and regroup.

To Chew Five Gum? (Active): Activated at the cost of a move, the user creates a massive bubble of Five Gum and bursts it. The explosion unleashes a potent shockwave, inflicting 100 damage on all targets within mid-range. Allies within this radius are healed for the same amount, and experience Aftertaste (Passive) in the next two turns healing at 20% of the base damage of To Chew Five Gum over this period. Can be used twice per battle, once every other turn.

100 DMG to opponents while healing your allies for 100, that's pretty massive whilst also giving your allies a 20 healing for the next two turns.

That's all the paths, only advice I'd give is be careful what you pair it with and whatnot. Though since you aren't immediately locked into one path, there is some leeway, but still.

Ah right thanks for clearing that up!

All these are very nice indeed, im torn between green and yellow, though green feels like a healer type for a party and i dont have any friends to beam around the NW with so im torn lel. Obvs the healing is nice for myself... but no further questions on these ones then i understand them may move on.

Lmao yeah fair enough, I understand what you mean on the healing part.

You've already learned Gum Wall, so for now due to your rank that's the limit of your access. Once you rank up we can continue the training for the other techniques.
