sadly only a couple of players figured it out

Ratchet made claims that were completely nonsensical and not based on anything shown or hinted to exist in the game thread. That reeks of scum desperation and was what ultimately turned me against him.

While it's good to share ideas when you're Town, it's even better to have an internal filter and know some ideas are better left unspoken cause they just confuse people and inflate paranoia for no good reason.

I would agree that Toujo was sloppy in the way he verbalised some of his thoughts about write up manipulation, so I think your 2nd paragraph is fair, but I weighed it against what he would hope to gain as scum by doing such a thing.
