yo im being bullied out of the art contest! i drew a picture when it was halfway done, i sent it as proof in the beginning of November. i got a response about “evidence” and i was offered the chance to challenge it. same thing happened last month and i proved it wrong. this time i get the option to go over the evidence and provide proof thats against it. i picked that and then weeks go by without any kind of evidence ever showing up or contact from the host. now i log on and it says im banned for the duration of the art submission is happening. even though i have proof and was offered to challenge it fairly

here is the original drawing

You must be registered for see images

now look, im erasing part of the drawing i submitted

this before is another picture before i start erasing
You must be registered for see images

here is video of me erasing the name

here is the picture after its erased like i did in the video
You must be registered for see images

here is video of me erasing more of the drawing

here is the drawing after that video
You must be registered for see images

so the whole point is “i didnt draw that” and i needed to provide proof that it was drawn. i offered to do that then i was dodged for weeks now im banned till the contest submissions are over. this is clearly bs as shown above, if you dont want me in the art contest just say it. dont try to secretly cheat me out till submissions are over. i should be unbanned and im blasting this shady behavior

I'm sorry your proof does not actually prove anything. You are simply removing the only thing that is not a part of the original image... your signature. And the other proof we have is showing that it's a copy and that your image appears photoshopped with applied filters and then printed.

If you truly did all of this by hand then I'd assume you are a robot, either way if that's the case you are being punished for being too good.

So the only way I will rule this in your favor is if you can provide a video of you doing something similar again with the process, I think that would be the only way you could prove that it's not just a blatant copy or filtered version of the original image.

What about the second proof where he erases the right side?

Ink can be removed with acetone or other methods in that way so I stick to what I said. I want to see the process of creating the art rather than a process to destroy it.

Hey said you didn't give him a chance and banned him, and are you sure of the proof you have against him?

The issue here is that the reference photo overlaps with the art piece to a tiniest detail. With so many small objects on the reference photo you would expect at least a small stray from the original photograph (in the angle, shade, highlight, direction, etc.). But when you import the two in an image manipulating program, stack them on top of each other and maybe do some resizing, there is no straying whatsoever.

Now, is possible to do that? I mean, I wouldn't say only a robot can do it but... yeah...

My advice for the artist: You can't do anything about it this time around. I mean, you could record erasing the entire thing and redrawing it but I understand how that can be waste of time for you. Instead, next time when you decide on drawing record your process or post it in segments ( ), so that you can make Zise eat his words.

My suggestion for the hosts: Consider changing your submission rules so that everyone needs to upload step by step process of creating their art piece. Also, it would not hurt to open discussion on reference use and later on maybe establish some ground rules based on the wishes of the members and hosts.

If you wonder who's the dude in my avatar, shame on you for not watching Jujutsu Kaisen and not knowing flaming hotness that is Satoru Gojo.

Satoru is basically a Kakashi copy. Kakashi is way more cooler.

I also find his art so good to be a hand made, but it's not impossible, unless for a genius.

Is noone going to talk about the obvious alt account?

The main account was banned. So an alternate account was needed to make a public complaint thread.

There is a private question answer section for any complaints against a moderator's decision. In fact, it was a very unwise move under circumstances.
