The last two chapters have had plenty of filler about the Fruit Tree and how Karma works, but they've given us two plot points that definitely won't be neglected.
1. Isshiki was maimed by Kaguya. Supposedly, he was betrayed; though, it's possible Isshiki intended on betraying Kaguya beforehand. We don't know the details, but we obviously will eventually.
2. Isshiki is attached to Jigen's brain and controlling him. Apparently, he is actually, as in LITERALLY, still on Jigen's brain. This point is 100% relevant to the plot because it's being forced in. The explanation for why Jigen is there is because he was too weakened to place the seal. Do you know how Momoshiki gave his seal? After literally being disintegrated....

Point 1 means we need someone to explain why Kaguya attacked Isshiki, then Point 2 gives us that person. Ike could have allowed Isshiki to completely merge with Jigen's body, but Isshiki is still physically there. The setup for the two to be completely separated is already laid. Jigen is the person who'll explain what happened. As a bystander(?), AND as a monk that potentially worshiped Kaguya, aka, The Rabbit Goddess he'd know something. Sakura removes Isshiki from his brain :sakura2:.

The big stepping stone to reach Point 2 is Isshiki's defeat. Does Kashin defeat him now? Doubtful. Jigen's body needs to be intact and Kashin is literally frying the man RN. Amado is also being set up to stick around in the Leaf, which would be somewhat unnecessary if Isshiki dies to Kashin. As it looks, the plot will move on through Amado after Kashin's failure to kill Isshiki.

Points that are related to Amado:

How does he have a Jiraiya/Naruto(?) clone?
Who Delta is to him.
How to truly kill the aliens.(Not relevant because it's going to be addressed next chapter)
Kawaki(mutual interest in ridding of Karma).

I'll choose the plotline that involves Kawaki. If Kawaki/Boruto were to kill Isshiki, all would be solved(ignoring their Karma marks). Personal issues have to be sparked up, and Jigen is the only one with that capability. What would spark it back up? There's plenty, and probably more reasonable, theories that fit in place, but I want you to consider what I think is the most interesting.

TL;DR & continuation of the thread:

What if Isshiki is actually the hero of Shinobi? He's gone all these years without bothering for a vessel until now. Why? What if he was actually content with the 1,000 years of warring? I believe Isshiki was popular among the populace when he ruled alongside Kaguya and that he had their backing. What did Kaguya want? Peace. Isshiki? Chaos. I think Isshiki, backed by Shinobi, challenged Kaguya's rule. After eating the fruit to do so, Kaguya probably became rebranded as a demon once she crushed Isshiki and his supporters. Kaguya wanted to reclaim all chakra? Perhaps she was actually bent on destroying Shinobi.
If such were the case, it'd mean Shinobi are the actual cause of the 1,000 year war.

Why is this a theory? The Manga already touch on it without going into detail. It's not even a big deal as Kaguya is out of the picture.

But Isshiki is still in it. If we were to get a full understanding of his character, which we likely will, we'd have to know his ancient past.

Lakookie predict: Kaguya felt pity for humanity and decide to protect them instead of original otsutsuki plan...but she became corrupt after eating devil fruit...but this was driven by good intentions aka end the war between humans...

even hagoromo seem to imply that his mother personality change come from eating this fruit...

i wonder if studio pierrot regret making kaguya backstory filler arc... this manga will have to explain it more nd it might not be a same as anime version......

This is why I always thought that Karma is a Rinnesharingan abilitiy.

I mean take a look at Kaguya's, Black Zetsu, and compare it to Momoshiki's, Boruto. Both have the 3rd eye. Both are in the brink of the void (because quite literally Kaguya's body and chakra were separated).

Their existence transcended to a higher plane when they unlocked the Rinnesharingan.

Of course, that Isshiki just kind of threw that theory into the trash bin

Momoshiki never had a “tomoed rinnegan” and why are you even still calling it a “rinnesharingan” when Sasuke himself said that the Juubi’s third eye is a Rinnegan?

it's a placeholder name. Plus if it is just a normal Rinnegan, then there wouldn't be a need to awaken it to use IT.

Lastly, it means that it doesn't matter if it is tomoed or not. Since there's absolutely no difference between the 2.

Because Isshiki didn't give her the D.

Amado talks as if he was there. Plus he seems to know alot about karma. Why would Ishiki give him all that information? He even knows about the purpose behind the ten tails. Its kinda suspicious to me. I would trust Shikamaru's judgment for this situation.

It is trash tier writing, Amado and Kawaki just dropping knowledge when convenient or knowing things they shouldn't.

Nah Amado is using them. I just don't understand his motives right now. The past few chapters have been kinda slow imo. They need to send the old and new team 7 in to save KK then ill be interested. You are right the writing is meh.. Its brilliant the way they are presenting the information but the pace is too slow. All they did was sit in a room and watch KK suicide for two months.

It's kind of obvious Amado has an ulterior motive, however his knowledge and random drops make zero sense. Saving KK makes no sense, let's hope we get a Madara clone, which forces Naruto and Sasuke to go to war with each other. I still think the story is trash and could've been written better, tbh.

I woke up this morning thinking if Amado is so smart why didn't he make a Madara clone? But I forgot about the Jiraiya prophecy thing and that option is better for storytelling. He is supposed to be sensei to the child of prophecy. So Boruto becoming his pupil puts fate/plot on their side. I don't think the writing is that bad. Im beginning to recognize the different styles but I still see Kishi's influence and I like it because its not just a sequel it has an original feel to it.
