it depends tbh. why would such player want to know that information when its not needed? Why can't such player just google the role. Asking how your role works when how it works is kept a secret, is scum to me unless the situation calls for it. If its out of the blue, I argue that it can look scummy.

There is a difference between in game roles and official roles, most times its the same, but some times not. The host may change up the official role rules, making it different from the official. And as such the roles we have in game could have different abilities than what is official. My point here, is that Rej was asking for the in game role by asking Luke. This seems scummy because if he just wanted to know what Oracle can do, he could've just googled it and found the official role abilities. But instead he asked Luke about the specifics of the role. Why would Rej, a townie, want to know the specifics of another role other than his own this early on? What does it benefit him? If you can answer this, it would be doing him a favor, cause he couldn't.

Claiming is an absolute NO NO. Players should claim when they absolutely have to. Giving too much information to mafia this early in the game will just **** townies up.

Will scum being bold enough asking about people's role? Hammock sounds so pure and naive here IMO. Just playing from game rule that he knew. Like All_Red, she's not new in asking about someone's role when rule allows it. She did it again inside this game. In the Valentine's game hosted by Michelle I'm very sceptical on her motive of asking people about their role. I returned the favor by not cooperating. She then stupidly scum lean me. She played really Scummy in that game and what destroyed any negative impression towards her was her claim as Cupidon. Here I think she claimed to be vig. But it can be a safe claim for scum also. The only thing that can disprove the claim is the real vig.
