Thestatusquo he has been acting weird in the game arguing with a non player and other unnecessary arguements putting unnecessary negative attention on himself and for the one game I played with him be came off far more intelligent than this so I have to assume this is a strategy which is backfiring on him.

I don't get how you tie in bringing unnecessary attention with level of intelligence, but sure.

The rest of Sagebee's wall looks rather good, in particular the Michelle comment, although I disagree with the read itself. I can follow his reasoning fairly easily.

Actually, part of it should account for only one of you, not so sure about the other, so all in all it could be that he is just wolf TMIng you.

I just felt like throwing the non posters randomly into yellow/orange, to see how others sympatize with this decision, maybe someone feels offended by that who shouldn't be offended by something like that

thats not posts, that's just about a playstyle, yes reading your newer posts you look more townier, just don't know if it is natural or if you try, because dissecting SK's post looked more like a "try", than a natural read.

Maybe perhaps this is actually a good point. Not for Michelle being scum but I like the reasoning for the read.

Okay so I have caught up.

Tbh I don't know why peeps go all crazy coz of one post from someone saying they scum. But I guess something has to get the ball rolling.

Statusquo seems to be getting heat the most at this point.

The clearest town read I have in this game so far is Imperfectuonist.

I didn't like this post, nor the first post. I remember reading through and bolded seems like an awful thing to talk about if you aren't really gathering anything from the read itself. It's kind of like a commentary, and I don't see what it's place has to do with the rest of the post. I think it's maybe saying "I'm reading the thread guys!" but I don't get why he didn't express the town lean he had on me in the same post as saying this, he did it only after he was questioned.

I feel like he's almost...hiding behind this SK read. I get the feeling he knows him from other games, and is trying to appear useful by telling us how to read him, although he himself doesn't really say anything about SK or isn't confident on him one way or the other, and when he actually analyses something else - what's going on in the thread - he seems completely lost in a way that he shouldn't be.

I feel like he's drawing nothing from his SK posts and is maybe trying to replicate some previous interactions / friendship / buddying thing with SK. If he actually knew how to read him, I feel as though he'd just have a go at it, but it's like his...I don't know...safe house when playing "catch" or whatever it's called. The game where there's a seeker and his purpose is to touch the other people that are running away from him. And when you don't want to run and do effort, you just go back to the designated safe house.

I have to agree with Rej that Elmage probably doesn't make that vote there, especially when he's a lurker mostly and me flipping town is going to like absolutely nuke everyone that was on my wagon the next day. Also, I don't think he consciously goes down the route of poking the beast when he knows what the beast can do once it's poked.

Now rereading the wall without gifs.

This huge post contains one big "look at me I'm so townie" concept (yellow) with the promise to catch scum (just bold text).
The only thing I like is the orange thing but without quarrells we cannot make an oppinion about each other so it's an useless thing in mafia if not antitown.
The reason I doubt the towniness of SK based on this post is the repetitions of the things, the text is big but doesn't share so many ideas.

In the post i voted you the gif included in it was like "no i am no gentlment" and i demonstrated that by voting you, I was simply demonstrating the thing i tried to say with my f. Please do not forfeit the game unless and until you have a backup substitute from the host. Until then, you can simply maintain your five posts per phase with any remarks or anything at all that you might find helpful to add.

If you forfeit now, your faction will be put under a varying disadvantage depending on your role. Also, if you're still considering finishing the game, I think things are going to get heated soon, from my judgment. This is the calm before the storm.

If you still want to quit due to other reasons, it's totally up to you.

Based on old games' behaviour (meta game reads, shortened as meta) and this game behaviour, tone of posts, reactions, what we feel reading a certain post.
Anyone can have a wrong read, but by trying several game phases we can find who are the bad guys.

Not really, players behavior change/improve every game they play. Trying to find bad guys is achieved by catching them either slipping or scum hunting or look at stuff from their perspective. Would a townie say that? and then ofcourse use your brain to come up with a conclusion.

I'd say don't quit just yet.
I only used to play 1 kind of mafia games and no one used to use these terms that are being used in this game. To be honest I find this pretty confusing for myself as I sometimes don't get these posts but I am still trying.

Depending on your role you will put the team you are in at a disadvantage depending how good your role is. You get more clarity as the game goes on.

SK is never genuine. He is role playing no matter AI. This requres acting.

Oh, i am being very genuine. I was told I am not good at acting and should just stick in being myself. Free like a bird. Usually, tho the hunters try and hunt the strongest, fastest, most coolest bird in the skies just because. Those type of individuals I label them as scum in my book.

Next is soul killer same reason as ansatsuken he comes in the game disappears and comments and activity so far havent been productive.

My vote on Rej has the following reasons:
- his rainbow list was too early in the game and included everyone, not just the players who posted. And has players who didn't post useful for the game too. I mean you can't take an early hello in the game as alignament indicative.
- his answers are minimalist, like ke is affraid to post more to not slip.
- his explanation for getting reactions is not followed by his conclusion of these reactions.
- his posts explaining things are not complete thoughts imo. I waited for him to post meaningful a lot of time but he didn't do anything. He knows how I am playing, we played in other sites too, not just here so i feel that
- his read on me is not real.

I think Alice, Michelle, Ephemeral is a good enough town core to start building from.

I feel as though, even if I cleared Alice from her first post, her following ones have been coming from town, because Alice as a lurker is self-aware, going "What is your read on me?" on every opportunity she gets is kind of counter-intuitive. She doesn't want the attention when she has 2 different team mates. She'd had to have been gathering town reads early if she even crafted her first post to appear town somehow, but I think in the long run she realises that she's not going to keep the act on for a long time, thus, it feels rather pointless and overcoming laziness for nothing and I don't see Alice doing it.
