Where I come from, the best job a vanilla town player can do in a game with power roles is to die in the night to protect the power roles from being lynched.

This is doubly important as in power roles being basically unlynchable (well, I HAVE seen an Innocent child being lynched a short while ago since LolClaiming a mere minute befiore EOD)... and they provide mechanical information. I mean, would you consider surviving but the cop dying at night a good thing?

If the cop is inactive, I won't care if he dies tbh, we need active towns, then again, the tact I was trying to employ seem lost on you, however, I do see your point

I guess it's a matter of playstyle. As Vanilla Town I have tried to bait night kills by claiming roles before, which worked sometimes, so basically the polar opposite of what you are doing. It...worked, since I very rarely do it. As VT I do not consider myself all that important.

No, I am just afraid that I end up lynching a town player and I kinda hate lynching town players as town since it a) proves that I fucked up, to myself and b) I have a bad habit of blaming myself too much for my mistakes.

From my personal experience and my memories I always got scum!Lukundo sooner or later and I don't feel Lukundo scum at the moment. He might reveal to me later, but this is not a player I want to lynch.
