Can Anyone Please Explain To Me How Madara Got Obito And Zetsu To Play Part Of Tobi.

I am very confused about how there was both Madara and Obito as Tobi, and Also Spiral Zetsu. How were they all Tobi at same time. And which Tobi participated in what events during the Naruto timeline.

Madara was never Tobi. Obito, while in Madara's hideout, wrapped himself in Spiral Zetsu. After the whole fiasco with Rin's death, Obito came back to Madara. From there, Madara taught Obito about the eye of the moon plan, taught him various jutsus, and then told Obito to take on the name "Madara Uchiha" until the day when the real Madara revived. By the way, Spiral Zetsu stayed wrapped around Obito the whole time.

When it came time to form akautski, Obito simply decided to act the part of a happy go lucky fool (the goofy Tobi) in order to not blow his (fake) identity as Madara Uchiha. Within akautski, only a few knew of his identity as "Madara"
