Thousand Needles

The Thousand Needles is an odd area, containing dozens of spires of stone and earth. These form a jagged, confusing maze, but also provide shelter from the elements. As such, a small village exists here with rope bridges connecting the spires in a crisscrossing pattern, suspended dozens of meters above the earth. The villagers here are mostly safe from harm thanks to their high perches, but there are dangerous birds in the area, notably the giant vultures that prey on the weary and wounded. Recently the area has changed as temples of earth and rock have been built atop the spires, and many of its rope bridges replaced by ones of stone as they now connect these communities, calling themselves the Air Nation, to one another. Shards of Eanna threatened to destroy the Air Nation, but with quick thinking, and masterful displays from multiple Shinobi who lived there, they were spared years of progress from being wiped out in a single night.

Coming upon the spires so distant in his memory, Trunks has one thought. Please, may it not flood. Coming quickly to a halt upon finding the familiar place, Trunks cautiously enters the land. He awaits being at the bottom of the contruct

Cassander's skull appears once again as a ghastly projection, scowling madly at you. "Pah!" It spits. "So you think yourself clever, do you? For having solved my riddles and kept your wits? Hah!" The General laughs mockingly, sizing you up with his Sharingan eyes. "I gave you only easy clues that even a monkey could solve! You are nothing special! Now take your reward and go!" With that, loot appears before you, which Cassander eyes distastefully.

Collecting his earnings, Trunks eyes the skull intensly. This has been fun, but now it's my turn. I bested your three riddles, but can you answer my one? Trunks would ask as the gears in his head begin to crank faster and more efficient, something similar to an adrenaline rush, but of the mind. Hoping the Uchiha had interalized his previous words, in the last location, Trunks speaks his riddle.

Your clue: They summon powers they cannot hope to control, but place upon the world to lo and behold. Their influence has became long and deadly, even though their plan has led to a botched Uchiha, a medley. They have kept themselves hidden, unpunished for their sin. But once I find them, the real battle will begin. Tell me their locations, if you can; and then I will depart, leaving you the better man.

[Resetting as Sin]

Name
: The Pervy Sage
Rank: C
Elements:

- The path to becoming a sage, the true path. The way of Ashura.

Summary: Sin learns that he doesn't need his ninjutsu to get stronger, there are more strengths than those of a shinobi.

This land was a mercliless one. The heat fighting against your every move. Living in these parts was a test of survival at it's best, but that is exactly why Sin had come here. It wasn't that he lacked skill, it wasn't that he lacked power, he had both of these, mastering all elemental skills, forming his own, achieving a doujutsu prowless beyond what anyone could imagine... but something was missing. He needed a purpose and he would find one before he left this world. This path brought him to the land of wind, flying here on his personal summon Horus, but, Horus needed to eat and he enjoyed the hunt as a hawk, a bird of prey. And so Sin agreed to meet up with him later. Now Sin stood at the gaint chasm that was know as the Thousand needles. All these giant formations of earth linking together to form an amazing hive like village will a massive drop to the ground and water that lay below.

Sin stood in his red intricate robe at the first bridge looking around, he didn't know what he was looking for but something told him he would find it here. Making his way across the first bridge he would feel, uneasy to say the least. The wood creaked, the rope sang as it drew tight under his weight. This bridge was old. He entered the first part of the village and thankfully there stood several stalls supplying food and water. He made his way to the first one, food had never smelt so good, he reached into his pocket all excited, but alls he found was the bottom of his pocket, he'd given the last of his money away to try and help that old trader get a new wheel for his cart. The Stall man looked disappointed.

"I'm sorry... i thought i had some money left... i didn't mean to waste your time..."

"Don't worry about it, i understand.... can't blame a trader for getting his hopes up in these parts" the man spoke with a smile on his face, a true kind man.

"I am sorry though, i'll find another way to eat.... it was just a treat anyway..." in that moment of all times, his stomoch rumbled so loud the other man heard laughing at it.

Before Sin knew it the man was handing him a stick with grilled fish on that smelled like lemon.

"I can't take this... i have no way of paying for it..."

"Maybe not... but i wouldn't sleep well knowing i'd let a young man go hungry.... eat up, it's on me."

Sin didn't know what to say but the man wouldn't budge, Sin was forced to take it, but he didn't regret it, the fish was so tender, juicy fresh, with that fresh grill taste and the lightness of lemon on it, this man was a genius. In that moment after thanking the man with as much grace as he could, he decided he would pay him back in his own way.

Later that day, he found himself walking down a rock staircase that led to the base of one of the giant pillars, looking for some shade at the bottom. As he reached the bottom he saw a few fishing boats nearby. That's when it sprung to him. He couldn't pay for the delicious fish, but he could replace it and then some to make up for the man's kindness. He walked up to the water and held his hand ready. He was going to release a volt of lightning into the water, shock the fish and let them come to the surface but something stopped him then and there.

If he released too much he would fry the fish and render them useless. If he released too much, the current could carry and hit the boats, or the equipment the other men were using. He could work on the focus of one at a time but that didn't feel right. He hadn't come here because he wanted to show of his skills, he wanted to become a stronger person. Using ninjutsu was the easy way out. The man had cooked that delicious food with his bare hands, it was time to treat the fish with the same respect here and now. He wanted to blend into this village, he wanted to become one with them, learn what it meant to be just... normal again. If he used his ninjutsu now, he'd ruin that.

He removed his robe and everything apart from his shorts. He took a kunai from his pouch before looking around. He saw a small bundle of rope near a man about 10 meters off. Heading over he asking if he could borrow the rope, promising to return it. The man smiled saying of course, he wasn't using it so someone else should make use of it. Taking it thanking the man with promise to return it, he sat down and tied a kunai to the end of the rope. Now, making a few loops, he stood up and smiled he was ready. He took a few steps into the water looking around. The water was still, clear as he could see fish moving around in schools infront of him. He remained still. He watched, he paid attention to how they moved, back and forth, the pattern in the way they acted, he held the kunai ready in his right hand, the rope in his left, then at the right moment, he threw the kunai as fast as he could, aiming directly in front of the larger fist, meeting it in it's path, hitting it through the eye, with a swift yank on the rope he fulled the large fish in pulling it onto the shore. It was about a foot long and quite a catch. This should be a good start. He couldn't leave it out in the open though. He looked around for ideas. That's when he saw it. In the shade, there was like rock pool, not connected to the water, he placed it in there on the rocks. It would keep it fresher while he caught a few more. He placed his robe over the pool to stop anything getting to it before returning to where he was.

Now he stood back in the water, waiting again, the problem with his sudden throw, it scared the fish, made the eratic and to swim away, so he would have to wait for the water to settle. He remained still, in the sun, trying not to move, the kunai held ready, though he was not doing anything the toll on his body was a so high in these conditions. He grew weary, the heat getting to him, but he had a goal in mind. And so time after time he repeated his process, waiting for the fist to return, settle into a pattern casting his kunai in, drawing it in, fish after fish. He remained doing this for several hours. By the time he pulled in the last one he releasied the sun had hid behind the highest peak and the man was watching him with a few others.

Sin untied his kunai, washed it in the water, wrapped up the rope, walked over to the pit of fish he'd caught, before walking back to the man.

"Thank you for the rope, i couldn't of done this without you, and i like to pay my debts. Here take this. If i return another day, i'd like to borrow this again if that's alright?"

The man looked stumped. He seemed to be amazed by the size of the fish and what he'd just seen.

"Boy, you're a natural. At first i looked and thought you'd end up hanging yourself with that rope before you caught anything but you sure proved me wrong. Yall keep that, you can put it to more use than i ever could, with the cost of fish like this in these parts, it will more than cover it, now my family can eat tonight."

Those last few words hit Sin, he looked behind the man and saw the small fishing rod, but nothing had been caught, he was going to offer to catch him more but he had a better idea.

"I apppreciate the offer, but i simply came to catch something to repay the man who fed me today. How about tomorrow, i use your rope again, and instead of doing it for you, i'll teach you how? That way, your family can always eat."

The man couldn't believe it but he didn't argue, he simply thanked sin and said he'd meet him back here in the morning. With that the crowd started to disperse leaving him alone once more. He walked over the his pool of caught fish but stumbled along the way. He couldn't believe the strain such a simple task had on his body, He'd relied on his jutsu so much in the past few years that his body had been left behind. He regained himself before dressing again, he left his robe off, placing the fish within it, creating a bundled before heading back up the path. With the sun going in, shade cast over the land which was a nice relief.

No matter how tired he was he had a debt to pay. He got to the top of the pillar in time to see the man who had fed him packing up, walking over he dropped the bundle on the table opening it up.

"I hope this will be enough to cover what you served me earlier, that was some of the best fish i've ever had. But tomorrow i promise i'll bring you a business partner"

The man looked so confused with so many questions to ask but alls he did in the end was thank him as they parted ways. Sin didn't really think about where he'd stay that night, so he headed back across the bridge to the cliff edge, found a tree to settle under and lay down. Lying there, it's when it hit him. Such a simple task had worked his muscles so much he ached, he was exhausted, had he really become so feeble? He couldn't really move, but something about it felt good, the satisfaction of doing hard work but at the same time how he'd helped others.

It was in that moment that Sin decided, from here on out, he'd hide who he was, he'd train his body, and through it, he'd improved this community, he'd rise to the top of the world as a man, as a true Sage.

Elements:

- Teach a man to fish...
- Become part of a community

Summary: Sin teaches the people how fish, introduces them to the man that fed him, and began honing his skills.

The next morning by the time Sin woke it was already getting on into the morning, he didn't usually sleep this late but after how warn out he was yesterday, it was no wonder. Sitting up now he looked around. In the distance he could see them work on setting up their stalls once more for another day of trading within their community, he took that as a sign he'd have to get up too. He made his way down to the water first to have a wash and clean his robe before heading down the first bridge, he was greeted with a smile from the familiar face, the man he'd caught the fish for who had fed him the day before, before he could even say anything, the man was offering him breakfast and a glass of water, saying how he could afford it with the amount of fish he'd been provided. Normally sin would of said no, but he was starving and the heat was creeping in once more. He accepted knowing that he'd be providing the same today.

"Much appreciated. Anyway, i have to go, i'll return later about the same time as yesterday, and introduce you to that person i promised"

And with that SIn made his way back to where he'd been fishing the day before, it seemed the man was eagerly awaiting his arrival, rope in hand and a smile on his face.

"Sorry, i kind of over slept... but it's not too late atleast, we will just have to bear the heat."

With that, he removed most of his clothing once more taking out the single kunai, giving it a wipe looking at it as though it held a place in his heart.

"Is that blade special to you young man? I mean i've got plenty back in my home?"

Sin looked up with a smile on his face.

"It was a gift, one that reminds me to keep going, survive, live. By using it for tasks like these, i'm keeping my promise right? Anyway, how good are you with knots?"

With that sin would spend the next few minutes showing the man the best way to tie a knot through the hoop so the blade remains in place.

"Right, that's good. Now before we start, with this method there is something you need to understand, something someone once taught me. We aren't trying to randomly catch one or a bunch like traditional fishing with nets this is more, become one with nature. Hey don't look at me like i'm crazy haha..."

The man looked a bit confused and bemused, skeptic even, but sin went on.

"Ok let me explain it in a better way. How does a hunter act in the wild? It understands it's prey, it finds it, watches, waits for it's optimum time to strike, then bam, it takes the opportunity. You need to be like that, become one with nature itself. Stand in the water, feel its flow. Watch, wait... the fish move as one, the flow together, it's like a pattern, their behaviour you'll see it... don't look so confused, come a step at a time."

With that, he led the man to the water, standing in the shallow parts before the depth dropped far below. Now began the real task. They stood in the water, watching, waiting, the day got hotter faster than anywhere Sin had ever been, he could tell the man was feeling it too. He slowly motioned towards the school of fish gathering in the water nearby, the man held the kunai, he went to move to throw it but Sin caught his arm, then spoke slowly and quietly.

"Not yet, they are still moving a bit eratic... look they are slowing down now... see... the large one in the middle... there is a partern to it's movement.... almost like a figure of 8... watch... anticipate... now don't aim for where it is, aim in front of it... focus on the target not throwing it hard, the blade is sharp enough to do it for you... as you throw... breathe out... it will steady your body... ready"

Sin let go of his arm and let him try. The man draw back his arm, then swifty threw the blade into the water, but it went over the fish's head, scaring them as they all scattered erratically. He cursed in frustration.

"Don't worry, that was a damn good first try... you just need to relax more... you threw it too hard and tensed your entire body before throwing it... remember... relax... breathe out... focus on accuracy... but now we have to wait for them to settle haha..."

And so they stood in the blistering heat, watching waiting for the fish to return to the way they were before. Eventually they calmed down, because lets face it, fish aren't the most intelligent of creatures. As they settled sin slowly spoke about picking out a fish, following it's pattern, relaxing then throwing. In a swift motion the man threw the kunai, piercing the water, hitting a large fish directly in the eye. A perfect shot. The man jumped with his arms in the air amazed at his own shot, letting go of the rope, sin swiftly grabbed it before the rope and fish were lost and began to pull. The man came to his senses appologizing and helped pull in the fish. From here their day went on as the man kept practicing under sins watchful eye. He missed a few times, got frustated, but he had a keen eye and learned rather quick. As the day went on Sin found himself with several people all learning, asking, trying to fish his way. Even the two men he'd seen with a net the day before were trying his method. It made him smile. Not that he saw it now, but in the future this would become a source of income for the entire settlement, but for now he was just happy to help.

As the day drew to an end, he was once again worn out, but happy in himself. The progression the group had made due to his teaching was insane, in the end they had stopped fishing as they were catching more than the group knew what to do with, now they were finding ways to store and preserve it. The first man Sin had been teaching seemed to take charge a bit in this, being one of the older people in the group, leading them, and so Sin spoke up.

"It seems we have a new leader down here ay? Well i guess it can't be helped, it's great you guys have come together like this but now, it's time to deal with a small matter of how much you actually caught, so ima steal your leader for a bit... we have some business to take care of"

With that he led him back up top with a bag full of fish heading to the location of the first stall he'd been to when arriving here. Once more the man was packing up his stall just before the sun went down.

"Well, i'll be, didn't think you'd be coming back, but i have to say, all those fish sold so well, for the first time in years i almost sold out, only one left, but that'll do for my family tonight, is this who you wanted me to meet?"

"Ah you got me. This is indeed him, he's taking over my little role of bringing you fish from yesterday to become a... more constant thing you see..."

Both men looked at him confused.

"... What i mean is... he can fish as good as me, if not better, not only that but he has a whole bunch of guys working with him now, they caught that much today they had to stop as there was too much to handle. My thinking was, why don't you guys work hand in hand, he catches the fish, you cook and sell and from there, you can split the profits?"

Both men stopped and thought about it for a moment, but how could they refuse they both agreed and said they'd meet tomorrow morning to sort the rest, for now the fishing man had to get back and deal with the other fish, with a smile and a farewell he ran off to finish up for the day. With that Sin helped the man finish packing up his shop and made to head for the tree again, but as he began to walk away, the man spoke to him.

"hey... where are you staying tonight?"

Sin stopped and turned around smiling.

"I found a nice spot out by the cliffs under a tree, quite peaceful really."

"You don't even have a place to stay? That's no good, you're coming with me, and that's not open for debate. My family are eating better than they have for years thanks to you and they'd love to meet you, now come with me lad."

Sin went to say something but was silenced with a look. After all it would be nice to have a decent place to sleep, so he followed the man back to his home. Like most the places, it was small, dusty, dry, and bit run down but at the same time looked cosy. As the man entered the door he was greeted by his son running to hug him, he couldn't be any older than 8. They both laughed greeting each other as the boy looked up at Sin welcoming him to their home before pulling Sin in by the hand, all excited about the fish he'd caught demanding to know how he'd done it. The man himself stood in the background laughing and appoligised before going to his wife, with a kiss on the cheek they interacted. They were such a happy family and so Sin sat and talked about how they caught fish but, rather than just explaining how he had done to the boys father, he made it seem all exciting, talking about giant fish fighting back, though he spoke how his father wrestled with it, catching it. The boy was amazed his father could do such a thing, but Sin knew, it was important that a boy of his age looked up to his father. It was at this point the man turned to him.

"Well, food's almost ready... erm... i never actually cought your name, i'm Leon, this is my wife Lara and that's our son Tyson"

"Nice to meet you haha, my name is Sinthorus, but you can call me Sin, easier to remember."

"What an interesting name you have"

"I actually chose it myself, my goal is to carry the sins of the world on my own shoulders, maybe that can i can put an end to all this hate and fighting one day... "

"Well, keep feeding my family like this and i'm sure you will... anyway... food"

And so they all sat at the table enjoying a nice conversation, Sin was offered a bed in the spare room that had gone unused for years but they insisted. He kindly accepted and just as he was about to retire Leon and Lara stood together smiling.

"Well, you can stay here for as long as you need, as long as you're here, you're our guess and think of this as your home. We spoke about it and we can tell, deep down, you'll do this village some good. Sleep well."

And with that Sin lay in bed, his hands behind his head looking at the ceiling. He'd finally found a place he belonged, he just had to avoid using his ninjutsu to do it. And so he'd build a life this way, a normal way.

Mission 3

Name: The Pervy Sage
Rank: A
Elements:

- Become a leader
- Prove your worth, commitment and selflessness

Summary: Sin finds himself in a role he didn't expect

So Sin settled into a routine, he'd wake each day, help the man set up his shop, have a coffee and breakfast with him before heading down to help out with the fishing duties. He liked to blend into the crowd, just sharpening the blades, carrying the fist in buckets they now had to their little system, just menial tasks, a peaceful life, he liked having a routine for once. He kept in touch with Horus speaking through their mental link and would sometimes see him flying nearby as he hunted the local area. Horus was enjoying it hear too, and the fact sin was happy made him happy. Though it's a shame these times wouldn't last.

One day, Sin decided to head out of the spires to go spend some time with Horus. He told the villagers he just wanted to explore a bit, taking a spear with him as they insisted it was dangerous out there. They didn't know about his powers and so he entertained them with this. Taking the spear, he spoke to Horus with his mental link saying how they'd meet on the other side of a large ridge, out of site. And so he made his way out onto the plains, though something was different today, the wind's picked up into a light sand storm, making it harder but to him, this was all part of him training his body becoming one with the elements.

After about an hour he arrived where they said they'd meet where he found Horus laying, picking the meat of the bones of something Sin hadn't seen before. Dropping the spear he fell back, sitting in a relaxed position taking a drink of water.

"I see you've been having fun out here?"

"I like it here, these are my hunting grounds, humans don't venture into these sands for fear of getting lost..."

"I'm glad you're enjoying it out here, but don't feel the need to stay, i plan on sticking around these parts for a while, i've come to quite like it here, the village is prospering, i like to feel like i made a difference"

"It's easy to tell, i can see the change in the way you are, for the first time in years, you seem happy. As for this village, there are alot more people coming and going, it's thriving... you're doing good, you should be proud"

This made Sin happy. Now they sat back and spoke, relaxing together, talking about old times or events that had happened the past few weeks. Horus spoke of his hunts, the strange things he'd ate, some of stuff that had tried fight back, didn't end well for them either way. How he'd formed his own nest on a ledge on a rock formation. They both had found peace.

Sin fell asleep in the shade, being so relaxed. Horus set off to hunt once more, not through hunger, but the thrill of it, as a bird of prey, it was natural to him. Flying high above he began to circle, but something caught his eye immediately. Sin was woken by the loud voice of Horus in his head.

"Wake up, quick... there's trouble"

Jumping up grabbing the spear, in a crouching position Sin looked around to see nothing, then the image came to his head from horus. The village, smoke from near it, a group around it, one of the bridges destroyed. It was under attack but by who. Sin began running to go around the rock, as he sprinted, after a few moments he jumped up, Horus swept under him as he landed on his back, gliding at full speed along the ground heading towards the village, soaring at tremendous speeds. An hour journey walking would take 5 minutes at this speed. Coming up to the village Sin spoke to horus.

"Watch from above... i have to do this alone..."

Horus knew what he meant. With that Sin leapt off his back into a sprint heading towards the closest bridge as Horus shot into the skies above looking down. Their linked mines, he saw the group from before heading towards that location. Before they reached it, Sin crossed the bridge spear in hand, seeing smoke, pannicked villagers, they were all just trying to escape, grabbing what they could it was pure chaos. Sin looked around, no one was taking control, if this kept up they would all just end up hurting each other. He looked around, seeing the largest building on the spire, he ran and jumped limbing to the top, then shouted as loud as he could.

"STOPPPPP"

As his shout echoed around, the entire village went still everyone looking up at him. It had worked, but a little too well, they all looked at him for answers now as he stood spear in hand. He had to think quick.

"All men with the strenght to bare arms rally to me... all the women and children, head for the far spire, from the be ready to cut the last bridge just in case. Guide the elderly and take provisions.... Work together... look after each other... you're a village not a horde... now move... work as one!"

They stood staring at him for a few moments before moving again, but this time it was different. The moved less frantically, more organised, the women taking children by the hand or in their arms and guiding the elderly to the far end of the village, the men stood by with what ever weapons they could find, letting the women pass as they stood waiting for Sin. He jumped down to find Leon there. He began walking back towards the bridge they had come across, as he spoke to Leon.

"Who's attacking this village, what do they want?"

"It's the Gnolls....they are Hyenas that can walk ant talk... they are savage... a war like race... they thrive in this area... we usually just cut the bridges to stop them taking anything but they keep trying... one time they came in the night it was a true horror,... such wreckless hate..."

Sin moved quicker now, he wouldn't let these people suffer like this again, they'd been good to him, he'd do what ever it took to put and end to this once and for all. Rushing forth he realised he was too late, the Gnolls had already got across the first bridge, they were spreading across the others. Sin told them to split off, go to cut them off, when they had he would meet the main force head on and push them back. And so the groupl split off, following his orders without question. His body had kicked into action, he was giving orders, like the days of old, leading people into battle, he didn't expect to do that here. Reaching the next pillar he met them head on.

You must be registered for see images

They were already charging at him, he had the spear in hand, but he wasn't here to kill, so instead, he'd use it disarm and render them unconcious. He was the first to reach the group, about 5m ahead of his allies. The first charging gnoll had a axe in hand above it's head. Sin brought his spear around low, so the wooded shaft swept behind the back of it's ankles, taking it's legs from under it, causing it to fall backwards, Sin jumped up, left knee first, catching the gnoll under the chin with a face shattering blow, knocking it out with one clean shot, kicking off it's body as it fell to the floor, leaping into the frey. By this time the rest of the group had caught up, but there was no time to pay attention to them, he'd take as many out as he could or atleast slow them down.

Dropping down into a kneeling position as he landed, he'd do a low leg sweep around him, causing 4 more to fall, tripping into the other gnolls giving his allies the advantage. This wasn't a fighting village, so he had to do what he could. As they fell, he held his spear in both hands horizontally across his body, thrusting the blunt of it into the stomachs, before he knew it, three more were down, the group of his were teaming up on the others. They were doing well, but what shocked him the most was Leon. He caught site of him, his choice of weapon was a kunai on rope, he was blocking strikes with the short blade then throwing it to wrap about the gnolls legs to pull them from under them. Suddenly he'd adapted a basic fishing skill to become a strong warrior, Sin was amazed but he didn't have time to stand by watching. Jumping back into the frey, though the fight was tough and drawn they were lucky, the group escaped with no fatalities, some serious injuries, but none that couldn't be treated. It seems as though the Gnolls had come unprepared and didn't expect such a resistance, now the group they fought tried to escape. The men began to cheer at their victory, but Sin looked around. He stopped with his eyes on the group to the east, the one on the west front was in retreat but the group to the east...

They'd been defeated, the Gnolls made their way into the village, the villagers still hadn't evacuated. Sin burst down the rope bridge aiming to meet them with the group of men looking in the direction he was goin, Leon swiftly rallied them to follow.

Sin arrived, only 4 had made it through, one large and three normal sized gnolls. The three smaller ones stopped and turned to look at him, smiling, snarling, they saw him as foolish, maybe he was. If he just used his Ninjutsu.... no... he could hear the footsteps of Leon and the other men getting close, not only that, but he chose to become a true sage without it, he could do this. Though he waited for them to come at him, he was tired, the heat was still a bit much for him, he'd have to be careful. Slowly the beasts stepped forwards together into the opening, Sin took his moment when they were one meter away, jumping flipping in the air while spinning he swung his sprear around so the blade cut the ankles of the three of them causing them to fall forwards in agony, rendering them useless, he went to advance on the last one but was stopped dead in his tracks. There stood the large gnoll, a smile on it's face and something in his hand. Hanging there crabbing at his hand was a boy. Tyson, Leon's son, the family that had taken him in. Sin went to move the the Gnoll took a step towards the edge of the pillar holding the boy over the edge

"Take one more step... and say goodbye to the boy.."

Sin stopped, angry now, but trying to think of a way out of this, if he moved now could he get to the boy in time. Leon was behind him shouting but the men were holding him back, he screamed "Tyson". Sin needed to do something.

"I've seen you puny human, they way you hit them... without that spear you're nothing... drop it or the boy gets it..."

Slowly sin put the weapon down. Standing back up, looking head on. The beast smiled while snarling.

"Fool, like i'd spare this brat... you're mine..."

With that he flung Tyson off the edge and turned to charge Sin. Sin was already running at the beast with blazing speed, a full force uppercut to the last Gnoll, knocking him up and back off the pillar, Sin's momentum carrying him over the edge to above the beast looking down on him. But he didnt' stop there, Sin kicked the beast down below giving it no time to recover, he was angry, but he didn't lose sight of his goal, he kicked off the beast, proppeling himself through the air to catch up with Tyson in the air, catching him in his arms. He pulled tyson into his chest holding him tight, twisting his body in the air so Sin was falling back first down to the rock below. He was trying to think of a way out of it, he just wanted to protect the boy, should he use his ninjutsu... would they still accept him...

"Don't worry, i'll protect you kid... i promise..."

It was like he was falling in slow motion, meters away from the rock, about to strike, his body should cussion the blow for tyson, atleast that was something. After everything he'd done, this was probably one of the better ways for him to go, closing his eyes ready to accept his fate. When he was about to hit his body was yanked up, along with tyson, it was Horus, clutching them in his claws flying up. His voice spoke in Sin's head.

"You can't leave me like this... these people need you..."

Horus flew up placing them down, give a loud screetch spreading its wings before flying off. As Sin sat up he checked if Tyson was alright before leon ran over, grabbing his son holding him, he turned to sin.

"I can't thank you enough, my son, this village... we owe you... without you we couldn't of done it... we need you... to lead us we want to grow strong... like you"

In unison everyone agreed, cheers filled the air, the gnolls were bound and send their way as the damage done was being fixed, with that Sin would become what he didn't expect, the leader of this village...

"I don't really know what to say, i just wanted to do what is right by ... my people? You accepted me without question... but i'lldo everything i can... for... what to call this Horde? Haha... that's it.... We shall be known as The Horde"

With Sin suddenly being forced into a leadership position, he seemed to stand out in the village, not something he'd actualy wanted but he agreed to it afte they kept asking. As time went by though, the people were becoming uneasy after the last attack, and Sin could feel the tension in the air. There was only one way to deal with this. He gathered up the best warriors, volunteers only, and made his way south with them. He'd take the fight to the Gnolls, removing the threat for good. With this he left Horus watching over the village in the thousand needles, just in case.

A massive hawk would appear, its voice screeching through the air. Its large wings would cast a bleak shadow on the ground, as it lands beside the participant. In its right foot, a scroll. The contents of the scroll are specific:

You have been chosen. Survive the ordeal against one of the Lords, and claim its soul for your prize as Sensei. This will give you the capability of passing on techniques to others. Deep within the Lightning Mountains, you may find a Lord hidden within the chasms of Giant's Lance. Perhaps you could pursue the Lord in the Badlands of Earth, who spends its time hidden in the Haunted Forest.

The choice is yours. Upon arrival on your destination, further instruction awaits
.
Upon delivering the note, the hawk would leave. Its task had been completed.

Upon delivering the note, the hawk would leave. Its task had been completed.
Upon receiving the note, Sin halters for a moment. He turns to his men, he explains what it is. The ability to be able to teach and push their village further was an opportunity he couldn't pass up, not if he truly wanted to become a sage. He left instructions with the group, keep watch on the bridges, it was time to take another trial... this would help him on the true path to becoming a sage...

With that, he would meet up with Horus and explain everything, from there, Horus would swiftly carry him through the skies, heading north towards the Badlands of earth...

Elements chosen:
  • Build something for the Clan
Summary: Sin returns and makes a confession but to strengthen the clan.

After so much travelling Sin was finally back to the place he liked to call home now having been gone for what seemed like forever, thought with his travels something weighed heavy on his mind. He entered the village and everyone was so happy to see him asking where he'd been and he said the same thing to everyone, that he'd explain in a meeting later that day for everyone as he brought news. Now he made his way to his home, he had his own place now, a small hut where he could relax on his home, he had a wash as lay down for a nap ready to explain later that day.

Later he found himself making his way onto one of the main pillars of the Thousand Needles that the people used as their market place dude to it's size, it was the easiest place for everyone to gather. He stood on an empty cart as everyone looked on at him saying how they were happy he was home, but they probably wouldn't agree by the time he'd explained everything to them. Now he cleared his throat as everyone stopped and looked up at him expectently.

"Hey guys, sorry i've been gone for a while but i got a message and i thought it would be something that was just in everyone's best interest to go but i was wrong. It was just a trap. Let me explain. The message said, that if i went to a location in the land of wind i'd have something returned to me that i lost long ago, the power to teach. But before you understand that you need to know something about me, i'm actually.... a shinobi.... i'm from the Uchiha clan......"

Silence lingered in the air as everyone looked on and then whispers began to be heard throughout the crowd. Before long one familiar face stepped forwards, it was the guy from the stall, the one that had let him stay at his home, he turned and spoke to everyone.

"Guys guys.... look, give the man a chance to talk. Just because he's born part of that clan or anything, he doesn't suddenly become a threat to this village... look at what he's already done for us in such a short time... shinobi or not... this is now a successful fishing village in the land of wind, who would of thought? He fought off those beasts... i think you should at least let him have a chance to speak.... he risked his life to save my son...."

The crowd would fall silent once more as sin shot a thank you smile at his friend before facing the crowd once more.

"I didn't come here looking for trouble, i came here because i was trying to hide from the world, i was trying to escape the warring states, i just happened to find myself here, with all of you, the next thing i know i'm teaching a guy to fish, i'm living in town, we fought off those Gnolls. I was just trying to be one of you. I didn't care what happened to me, i didn't want to use my ninjutsu at all, i didn't want you all to hate me. Anyway, i got that message, it was from a hawk, i personally have close ties to the hawks, as you've probably seen one flying around here it's my close personal friend, Horus, he's watching out, guarding this place, he told me to come back due to that attack.

I left because i wanted to learnt to teach so that i could teach you all more in ways to protect yourselves from threats, i just wanted to do what's right by you but i realize lying isn't what's right. I'm sorry. Instead, i want to show you what i can do for you...."

He hopped off the cart and walked towards the edge of the pillar as everyone followed, stopping a few meters behind him. Out infront was one of the old pillars, or Needles that stuck out, but it was fragile, weak, they abandoned it because it looked like it would fall any time, but sin wanted to show them that that didn't have to be the case....

Sin closed his eyes bringing his hands together forming a seal before holding his hands out, pointed towards the very base of the pillar, before slowly raising his arms up, releasing his chakra through it in the process. Slowly the pillar began to shake, rumble a bit but after a couple of moments a dark substance started to form out of the based of the pillar, slowly rising, lifting up, wrapping around the pillar, adding a new layer to it. This dark layer filled all the gaps in this pillar, making it look like one long solid spire like it once was, becomign stable and solid now but the time sin was done.

Everyone looked on in amazement, they'd always wondered what they'd do if the pillars started to come down but they whispered in joy but sin wasn't done.

"No, that's just the start, let me truly show you...."

Now sin performs a few hand seals and with the last one holds his hands together, now above the pillar the air began to spiral as grains formed, gathering together of the same dark substance forming a giant block in the centre. It kept getting larger then Sin began to move, his motions, he form, his body began to flow as his he controlled this substance, and it began to react to his movements. It spread out, slowly around and upwards, it looked larger but it began to take form, he continued to move his arms in motion, this element reacting to him bit by bit until it started to come into shape, this was something they could all recognise:

They all looked on stunned when he'd finished, he was out of breathe so he wanted them to let his work speak for itself. He wanted to make this land a better place but it was useless without it's people. Murmurs went around once more as they began to talk but soon burst into cheers as everyone clapped. He turned around to look at them and his old friend was at the front.

"Sin, we had no idea you could do something... like this... we weren't going to kick you out for what you were born as, you're one of us now... and after seeing that, how could be not appreciate everything you do for us? But, the fact you had this kind of skill and power and you risked your life to save my son rather than use this, well... i can't believe it... so what does our leader have planned next..."

Sin couldn't believe it, he looked on, amazed at their reaction, he wiped a tear away before speaking.

"I plan to train you, to help you, guide you, protect you... this is the land of wind, this will be our Air Nation.... for the horde..."

Rank: D-S
Type: Attack/Defence
Range: short - long
Chakra Cost: 10-40
Damage Points: 20-80
Description: This is the basic application of carbon release where the user will gather carbon in the air, the ground or create it from their own chakra (spitting it out ect) to form structures of carbon. This can be anything from weapons, to walls, to spikes, domes, anything inanimate which they can use as projectiles as well. For example the user could create a kunai of carbon and launch it at their opponent. The larger the object, the higher the rank. For objects larger, than the user they will need to be A rank. To use the A rank version and higher, the user will need to perform 1 handseal. This can also be used to reshape current carbon the user controls which they can use to attack with again, in a similar way to earth release but on a unique level. Due to the control required, the user is not able to form microscopic carbon, the carbon they gather will be around the same size of a small pebble and so always visible to normal ninja. B rank and below carbon structures can be made with arm movements or a single handseal. A rank can only be used once per turn. S rank can be used 3 times per battle, with two turns in between uses and no carbon above B rank in following turn.

Rank: A
Type: attack/defence
Range: short - mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: This jutsu allows the user to bend and control carbon (through body movements) that they have already created or taken control off, to bend it into different shapes or forms by controlling the carbon's atomic structure. The user can use this jutsu to bend carbon and control it's movement much like Gaara can with his sand. For example if the user were to throw a carbon kunai they could change it's trajectory in the air.

  • Perform administrative duties
  • Lend a helping hand in one of your landmarks (changing it)
Summary: Sin makes this the true Air Nation.

Sin had created the amazing temple before them and went on to even create a bridge that went across so the people could actually go and take a look at the new temple he'd made out of nothing, they were amazed, in awe, how could someone actually form something like this was crazy to them, but he wasn't done. Instead he gathered everyone together once more in this new temple, it was time to take charge and lead these people to be a great nation, a safe nation. Now once more stood before all them all in the temple he spoke.

"It means the world to me that you still accept me, i promise to not lie again but from here we need to push forwards. No more attacks from the beasts around here, no more running and hoping to cut bridges to escape, no, lets make this a place that they fear attacking. I have one... technique... it will change the landscape itself. What this means is, this place will become more than just huts and such, it will be a temple on each spire, we will connect them with more than just bridges.... no one will enter without you knowing... we will trade out with firh and so on... no longer a life about survival... but a nation that is a centre of power.... though i can't make this decision alone, instead i need you all to agree....."

And so, the debate and deliberations began, people talking among themselves. Now arguments on all sides yet all were valid. If they become a nation people notice, do they become a target? Are they already a target though due to the fishing trade? How would their homes be effected? They'd get new stronger homes etc. It went on for a while and in the end, Sin proposed a vote, allowing people to decide but do it anonymously so that no one felt they were under too much pressure. What he didn't tell them was that he wasn't going to do a single thing unless they all agreed, he wanted everyone to be happy,

And so he set about the preparations to conduct the vote, giving everyone a piece of paper to simply put yes or no on and then come and hand them into the box to him on the stage so no one could add multiple votes. He didn't like the politics side of it all but it was all about being a fair leader and giving every single person a voice before he decided to change their lives for good. Now how would it all happen?

He sat in front of everyone and began to count the votes making a tally of them all as he went putting the ones he counted to one side as he did, it was tedious and time consuming but so were all admin duties in his eyes. After what seemed like a life time he counted the last vote, putting down his pen and standing up as everyone kind of woke up and turned to look at him.

"Well, all the votes are in and well, i don't need to check it twice... its... a shock... but everyone voted to change this land... i wasn't going to do anything unless anyone agreed but even then i didn't expect this...."

Now one older man stood with the help of his stick before a little cough he spoke:

"We've seen what you can do... but... more than anything... we trust you ... we know you want to help more than anything...."

Now everything else set into motion, Sin pulled out a map, but for some reason only he could change it and draw on it but he sat and spoke to everyone about how they were going to form it all. Soon everyone was gathering everything and began moving it out of their former homes, taking everything that held value to them. Now this wasn't rushed, it was a village effort, where they came together to help each other, so nothing was left behind, no regrets. They would take it all to the east side of the landmark gathering on the verge as Sin and the senior members of the village would sit and plan and draw on the map before heading over to join them. Sin took the map with him and showed everyone, they all seemed to be happy with a plan but the questions started flowing once more.

"How long will this take?"

"Where will we sleep tonight?"

"Can you really do this?"

Sin simply smiled and lay the map out.

"How about i answer you with my actions?"

With that he knelt down with the map turning to face all the spires that formed the thousand needles, as he placed his hand down on it the land began to shake like an earth quake, all the spires began to change at the same time. From the base of the spires, the earth would start to rise, filling all gaps making them thicker, stronger, wider, strengthening them to the very core so that they were all uniform next to come would be on another level. The rock above kept rising to a steep point then when it reached this level it began to reshape, flowing outwards. The rock would flatten into a slanted roof over several levels on each spire. The insides would start to hollow out as areas formed which would come to be windows and doorways, paths leading up and around to these levels also, by the time they were done, the sight was magnificent.

It was like a completely new place, one with solid rock path ways that wouldn't crumble and buildings they could never had built by hand. Everyone looked on in amazement at what they just saw, what they saw now, so happy, tears of joy, cheers, they were all so happy. Sin knelt sweating catching his breathe as everyone ran over thanking him and cheering his name, he had truly built an air nation:

Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Descripton: The user will bite his thumb and perform the Boar → Monkey → Bird → Monkey → Ram hand seals, slamming their hand into a scroll on the ground. This technique is a combination of the Summoning Technique and an Earth Release technique. The user summons a large amount of rock from a giant canyon which, during the process of being summoned through this technique, he shapes into a design he outlined previously in a scroll. This allows the user to change the topography of the map and create any earthen feature he needs from pillars to gorges, canyons, mountains or simply plains. If the user wants to or is defeated, the alteration ends as any summon eventually does. Additionally he can use (Doton: Dimenshon Fuudo Shihai) - Earth Release: Dimension Topography Control at any point to change the design and alter the summoned terrain.
Note: can only be used once per battle

  • Solve a problem for a settlement in one of your landmarks
  • Train a small group
Summary:

Having formed the great temples made of stone for the clan a few weeks before, things were starting to flow, getting into an order of things, it was great to see. People were living better as a community, it finally seemed liked Sin could do something right though it wouldn't be long before human nature took hold from surrounding areas. Where their village was flourishing with trade and the new temples etc, it was drawing attention from close jealous villages surrounding it. At first they would welcome new people, as they didn't want to be greedy, they wanted to build, grow and become a symbol of peace within the area, show that there was a chance for all, but that was naive to think peace could last.

Sin noticed that since they had opened the village up to try and encourage trade and improve the village, the crime rate began to rise and considering there hadn't really been any crime until this point, it wasn't something he could just ignore. At first it began with simple things like theft, which, though it was wrong, people around these parts were hungry, so Sin and the other leaders were lenient, instead of punishment, they would instead try and rehabilitate them, like work for their food, integrate them into the community so they could live in a fair environment. Though this wouldn't work for everyone, there were those that just weren't interested in working, they just wanted to take and would fight anyone that tried to stop them.

Until now, the air nation hadn't really been a fighting village, apart from that one time with the gnolls, they hadn't had any issues, but now it was becoming a rising problem. At first the villagers themselves could deal with the issues, but slowly people came to the village with their own weapons, swords, kunai, other blades, axes, it was getting out of hand, the village wasn't equipped to deal with it. When he could or was told, Sin would swiftly deal with it, as they were still just small fry bandits that he could dispatch with ease, but he couldn't be everywhere, nor did he always get told on time, so he called a meeting of the elders within the main temple to talk about the issues.

Sin: "You know why i've gathered you all here, these crimes, outsiders, all of it, it's getting out of hand. What do you think we should do?"

Elder: "Close our borders, stop them coming...simple."

Elder 2: "You think someone telling these thugs no will be that simple, they will probably ransack the village"

Elder: "Well if they try sin will just deal with it..."

Elder 3: "But at what cost, we shut them out and then what about trade with the other villages or when we try to leave?"

Sin: "I appreciate all your concerns but i don't think closing off the village is the answer. It would just be seen as challenge to them and can we really hold them off? I can't solve everything, i'm still just a man. But at the same time i don't think we should let things stay as they are. Though i have a solution to help keep crime in check. How about i train a group of individuals to become a form of police, to watch the streets and deal with issues while inspecting at our borders?"

They all went silent at that but what could they say? It was a win win. If it worked they'd be able to defend themselves while also being able to keep trading freely and become a better village and so it would be. They left a notice outside for everyone to see saying anyone who was interested to meet Sin at the temple in 3 days time to begin.

And so three days later, Sin found himself looking on, about 20 people had shown up for this, mostly people who had fought with him during the Gnoll attack, it seemed they were loyal and wanted to always protect the village. He smiled and explained to them what was going to be their aim.

Sin: "Well, as you know there has been an increase in crime and well, i guess i'm gonna be training you to deal with it. It's not gonna be easy, nor fool proof, but we can work together to do what we can to help the village. Now the first thing we have noticed is the use of blades and knife crime, so i'll start off by teaching you how to deal with this. Now i need a volunteer?"

With that several people but Sin picked out one and told everyone else to watch from either side. As they all got into position sin spoke once more.

Sin: "Pretend you have a knife and aim to stab me, i'm going to show you all the best way to avoid this.... now come"

With that, his opponent stepped forward with his right foot thrusting his right hand towards Sin's stomach as though he had a knife in it aiming to stab him. Sin stepped to his right, going to the inside of the mans arms, while bringing his left and right hand down on the wrist of the man, pushing it down and then grabbing to hold in place.

Sin: "You don't know how strong your opponent is so it is always best to avoid the initial path of the blade. Now, so they can't continue with their strikes, you bring both your hands down, striking the wrist while grabbing it. What this does is, firstly, the initial strike from your hands hitting the wrist could cause them to lose the grip on their weapon, while at the same time you're stopping them from continuing their assault, holding them in place. It's a distraction also while giving you a hold on them, you're taking control. Now from here the choice is yours. You can swipe their legs from behind them causing them to lose balance. Use their arm to force them down. You can spin and twist your body bringing their arm around. The pain will be too much for them to focus on their assault... but we are aiming to disable more than anything. Now pair up and why don't you try."

And so the group broke off into pairs to begin trying the little exercise taking it in turns to be the attacker and defender. Every now and then sin would stop to reshow or help them with the technique but it didn't take long before they all had the general technique. But once again he would gather them all around to show them a different style.

Sin: "Great start everyone but they aren't going to always aim to strike you head on like that, a blade can come at you in many ways. Be it from above or from the side. The key to this is the same principle. You always want to step out of direct line of the blade, that will always give you more time to react. Secondly you will always aim to either stop their arm or wrist with the same method. now let me show you. Someone want to volunteer?"

And with that one stepped forwards once more and took his position before sin gestured for him to try. He tried by swinging his left arm around fast from the side for a strike to sin's head. Sin stepped to his right twisting his body to face the inside of the man's arm, he raise his right hand to strike the wrist with the blade in it, stopping it in the air while punching forwards with his left hand, his fist stopping an inch from the man's face. He then stepped away smiling.

Sin: "You need to let your body flow, counter with your body weight, stand strong but not stiff, now why not give it a try."

With that they all broke off again trying different things. Sin would continue to step in where he could to help them in their form and how they could of done it better. This went on for a couple of hours before they were all getting tired, that's when sin decided to call it a day.

Sin: "You all did great today, and we can all try again in a couple more days, once you're all rested up. Next i'm going to teach you how to use the blade to your advantage, now that you can defend yourselves, it's time to learnt he offensive side to it. Well have a good day anyway".

After a long night of traveling through the pincers of the relentless undead cavaders that kept them on their heels all til they ended up looking at the maze that was infront of them, bloating up the space between the sand and space.

Bruh they'rs everywhere.

By the looks of it, the mazes were just a large obstacle that neither of the team had any time for to go through. Luckily, Alucard had an ace in his sleeve. By using his newly awokened gravitational powers he was able to create a large platform that was able to host his two summons on, being formed by the residual clumps of what nature had left for them - aka mostly sand and bones.

( Kinbō Tensei Jōzai ) - Localized Reincarnation Tablet
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 30 (+15 per turn active)
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates a floating sphere from nearby debris beneath them, using the gravitational control to levitate the sphere of debris and use it as a floating platform. Keeping it active, however, requires the user to expend chakra.
Note: Can only be used by Tenseigan Bios.

With the platform created, Alucard would get a much clearer view of the landmark instead of having to go get stuck in all the mazes and fight lingering undeads. His main goal was for the city as he figured that by this time the army of undead would be about to breach it. He used his Tenseigan to scour the ground for signs of chakra but saw nothing except black dots that were moving around in a irregular pattern. Some clotted together in hundreds and others spread around in units of 10 and less. These were the undead, luckily all of them were stuck in the mazes that were scattered cross the lands, which ultimately bought the city alot of time they would not otherwise have at all. Alucard descended upon the larger clots and hovered just above large group of over 100 undead skeletal humans, all turned into their hunger for contamination and further death. It was a horrible sight, Alucard loved it. But the fun and fascinating things in this world had to come to an end ultimately, especially the things that would risk the puny lives of mortals. While still on his platform, Alucard looked down with his beaming blue eyes that glowed like sapphires in the dark of the night. He jumped off the platform and unleashed his gravitational forces while leaving his two summonings on the floating platform he created earlier.

..Tensei Suiryoku..

( Tensei Suiryoku ) - Reincarnation Thrust
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary/Defense/Attack
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 40
Damage: 40 - 160
Description: The user will repulse and push away anything around him up to a given range, in all directions, producing an omni-repulsion effect. The force and repulsive effect is absolute, affecting both energy and matter alike. The technique itself can be used with different ranges/sizes, depending on how much chakra the user spends for the technique and can even, in its smaller form, be sustained, forming a static defensive field instead of a wave-like effect.
Shōkibo - Small Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to short range. The offensive power in this size is not that high as it hits opponents but can still do severe damage. It isn't, however, fatal, boasting a physical 40 damage. If the user focuses this ability with the help of his hands he can sustain a defensive absolute repulsive field around him. He can't, however, do any technique while he is sustaining it and he can only sustain it for 2 turns. Once used, takes one turn cool down to use gravitational related techniques again.
Chūkibo - Medium Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to mid range. The offensive power in this size is severe, sending opponents flying backwards with enough force to, if not defended properly, leave near fatal physical damage. Although not directly fatal, the technique boasts a physical damage of 80. If the user focuses this ability through one or both hands, he can push away a specific target or technique alone, instead of producing the normal omni-repulsive wave. Once used, takes 2 turns cool down to use gravitational related techniques again.
Ōkibo - Large Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to long range. The offensive power of the technique is devastating and anything in its path that doesn't manage to defend properly is left obliterated. Its fatal if unguarded, boasting a physical damage of 160. Using this techniques poses a great deal of danger to the user as he damages his chakra pathway itself to be able to mold sufficient chakra to perform it. Once used, the user loses the use any gravitational related techniques for the remainder of the fight and is unable to mold chakra for techniques above A-Rank for 5 turns.
Note: The technique is immune to normal Elemental Weaknesses and Strengths and as such can't be blocked or stopped. However, the enemies can still use techniques that prevent or reduce physical damage to their bodies to survive its effects or escape its range through a fast enough technique. This means that in the large scale, while the technique can't be stopped or directly countered, enemies can still manage to survive if they logically counter.
Note: Can only be used by Tenseigan Bios.

With his right hand raised and pointed fowards with an open palm. Alucard unleashed the powers of the gods and formed a static field of gravity that would forcefully push away all the undead in the group and scatter their bare bones from their composition and have them fly in a random bunch around him. This was extremely effective as none of them could break through the force field. Like sticks they flew left and right and Alucard had a big smile on his face. Art wasn't just destruction to him, but also the chaos.

These eyes.. They are me and i am them.

As he destroyed the envoys of undead with ease, Alucard jumped up onto his platform again, treating the whole situation as a game, one were he had infinite lives and was invincible. He would repeat the procedure with 5 more groups of the same size until they reached the inner core of the large maze and where the town was infact based being suspended in the air by a great amount of bridges that criss-crossed the roofs of the mazes. By the looks of it, the zombie apocalpyse was actually present as hundreds if not thousands of rotting corpses were all acting like a grand epic semi liquid unity formation to climb over the mazes and assault the town. Like a crimson angel falling from the skies, Alucard dived from his floating platform, leaving his two summonings again on the platform. He was about to go overkill with this shit. He created a pair of bone wings that granted him the ability of flight.

( Hone Tsubasa ) - Bone Wings
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user grows large bone wings from their back which can be used to fly or to defend. The user can also flap these wings and release bone spikes once per turn. The wings last for 3 turns.

With the bone wings flapping, Alucard flew in great speed towards the city while having the temporal field covering his short-range viscinity, which effectively crunched all the undead within 5 meters around him and tossed their defiled bodies. However, the joykill didn't last for long. As he closed in on the city, Alucard looked through the walls of the mazes, scouting for chakra signs with his Tenseigan. However it was a ghost city, nobody was alive in it, or everybody had fled. What he instead saw was an anthill of moving corpses, by the thousands that were crawling up the walls and raging through the city blocks.

..LONDON BRIDGE HAS FALLEN, i guess..

With no fear, Alucard flew down onto the ground and landed ontop of a city wall, looking down on the pandemic at its fullest cruelty. There were visible spores of the sea of life bacteria slowly rising from the stench from several thousand corpses, now walking. It seemed like the mass got eyes on him though and turned their collective rage into a single point, like a huge unit. Still standing strong, Alucard would perform three seals and channel his bisumaton chakra through his body and create a massive pillar of molten metal to form behind him. He would then use his shape manipulation to have the pillar decomposing into millions of glassy shards of the glowing hot metal. A rain started to fall, one that didn't spawn from thunderstorms or dark clouds. No, this was a rain that was based on the total destructive nature of Alucard. The metal would fall onto the large crowd of decomposing people and distill the area.

(Bisumaton: Ōame | Bismuth release: Heavy Rain)
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Rank: S(Forbidden)
Range: Mid-Long
Chakra: 40(-20/turn)
Damage: 80/turn(110/turn)
Description: The user performs three handseals and ignites the skies by channeling bisumaton chakra into the skies above them. Standard sized droplets of molten bismuth will start to rain down on the field from Mid-Long range of where the user is, and the user cannot adjust the size or location of the droplets. This can be done with or without sourceless materializing although if the user does not have that specialty they will need to form a gigantic pillar of molten bismuth that they stretch out from behind them and let go as it reaches the skies and expands into a barrage of rain. The only real advantage the user gets if they possess the sourceless materializing is the element of surprise. While this technique is ongoing, the user is limited in terms of that they can perform. This limits them to only using fire, wind and earth as well as KGs/AEs/CEs based on either one of those elements. Regular skills are not affected although no forbidden techniques. Each droplet of the rain causes extreme pain and will sink through the skin, flesh and bones through any limb or body it hits until it has passed through. Each drop falls faster than that of regular rain as bismuth is by far heavier and denser making the technique almost unavoidable, but it is still possible for the user to catch sight of the rain long before it actually makes contact with them. The user can only use the bismuth to form techniques from the bismuth or to create more bisumaton techniques only once the bismuth has hit the ground. This technique can only be used twice per battle and can stay on the field for two turns while it requires a two-turn cool-down. The user can only use two other moves while this is active.

Note: Can only be taught by Skorm.

As the rain started pouring, the masses of the undead started to take quite the hit and were able fully unify to stand up to its fullest effects. Even though Heavy Rain was an immensively powerful technique on its own, even when it was inheritly stronger than normal due to the effects of Alucards prized Golden Nightmare handcannon/sword, the amounts of undead were simply too great to be taken down by this technique alone. Infact they were only enraged by it. This was a completely new pattern of behaviour compared to what Alucard had seen in previous fights.

I guess i have to..

Alucard would then keep the dispatch of the metal rain falling, while flying upwards several meters to avoid the creeping horde of undead that were so far unphased by his attempt to destroy it. With his blue eyes gleaming at the masses of death, Alucard only saw one way out to stop the pandemic from this place to spread any further. He would have to destroy literally every single thing in the viscinity. He knew of the power that resided within him now as he had awokened the ultimate Dojutsu. With his grief for the mortals who once resided now gone and forever cast in eternal darkness, Alucard let his rage display its true form. The noices and disembodied screams from the freshly turned corpses, some with still bleeding wounds from their perish, filled the entire landmark while Alucard would flap his wings 50 meters above the ground of the city floor. From there he would look in all directions for signs of life, chakra or any call for help except the almost conscious call for help the undead let out in a wretched tone in some of their random cries. Alucard sighed heavily. There was no cure, there was no redemption. There was only.. Pain. With his eyes closing, Alucard raised his arms while commanding the platform hosting his two precious summonings. He repeated the words he had used earlier this night when he only used the low setting of the technique. But this time, he was going to give it all. With a silent and remorseful voice, he whispered.

With that said, there was a brief silence and an sphere of light emitted from Alucard. The sound of silence was the most beautiful thing he had ever heard, the symphony of the chaos that was go come. The silence never turned, the environment did. From his currently ultimate technique, Alucard had emitted a gravitational blast that was so powerful that it leveled the entire landmark to dust. Nothing was left, but instead the ocean of sand would bounce and flicker towards the shockwave and fall into itself and turn into a colossal tide of sand that would swallow the remnants of the city and its decayed citizens. It was like it had never been there before. All the undead within the landmark, lingering or in groups, would perish and turn to dust. In hindsight, once the global pandemic was over, this land had only one fate left. To rebuild and become strong again. All of its history was now lost in the hand of Alucard Tepes.

..He slowly falled down. The platform he had created would have diminished as it was taken the toll of his lack of powers in this drained state of gravitational abilities. Luckily for him and his summonings they would all land on powdered sand that had been refinely crushed together by Alucards technique, which hindered their fall damage. Alucard shed a tear as he fell but he had a big smile on his face. He had already forgotten of the people who's bodies he had turned to ash, instead he was powerblind with the total devastation of his last Chimera. It far surpassed anything he had previously been able to do in terms of destruction. With a soft thud, Alucard landed on the sand and the force he carried with him would dig him through layers down to 10 meters before he finally stopped. He had taken no damage. Not physical anyway. His two summonings would land shortly after he had dug himself out from the sand, He was able to quickly form two platforms of polystyrene which would decrease their physical damage further since they would've fallen from an even greater height. With a single seal, he would spawn two platforms that they would land on.

(Porisuchiton: Shiroi Sabaku | Polystyrene Release: White Desert)
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: D-S(B)
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 10-40(-10 per turn)
Damage: 20-80
Description: The jack of all trades release for the porisuchiton release. The user can form any structures from the polystyrene pellets they want. The user can create weapons, armour and well anything that they need. D and C ranked usage requires no handseals, B rank requires one, A rank requires two and S rank requires three handseals. D, C and B rank may be used indefinitely as long as the user has a chakra pool, A ranks can be used 5 times per battle and S rank can be used 4 times per battle. A rank variation has a cooldown of one turn per use, S rank has a cooldown of two turns after use. This lets the user channel porisuchiton chakra through the earths crust and create miniature sinkholes or other structures. The user can also form polystyrene directly from their body. Unless the user fuels chakra into the polystyrene, it will fall flat on the earths surface as it is too light to sustain any forms by itself unlike other solid materials.

Note: B-ranks require a single handseal, A ranks two handseals and S rank three handseals.
Note: A rank version can be used 5 times per battle, with a cooldown of one turn, S rank 4 with a cooldown of two turns.
Note: No other Polystyrene techniques in the same turn S-rank version is used

As they landed, they would bounce several times, to Alucards joy. Until they finally stopped moving with quite grotesque facial expressions.

What. Did. You. Do?
Blaaaaaaaazeeee...

Well i suggest your big fat eyes and take a look around. See that? That glimpse of nothingness? That's my effort. See those spores of sea of life? No, i stopped it. There's nothing left here now, we will continue onwards.

Please stop bouncing us next time though..

...no.

The mission was concluded and Alucard had singlehandingly wiped out every single speck of organisms there was in the entire deserted land. The party headed north.

Continuation of Mission

Hades continued on, from the deep caverns of razor fern, to the high peaks of thousand needles. This was truly a place of marvel, the huge stone pillars, connected by rope bridges, and houses built high atop them, protecting them from all. Hades was, if not anything else, simply impressed by the design and idea around the village. However, As Hades got to the top of the spiral staircase, and the full scale of the village came into scope, he was surprised to see people walking around, healthy, laughing, enjoying the day. This was the first village he had come across where people where not struggling, or just fighting to keep conscious. What was concerning, however, was, for as far as Hades could see, every person here had some kind of weapon on their person, large spears, with barbed spear tips. A specifically designed weapon from what Hades could see, however, his thoughts where cut short when someone dressed in thin armor and a spear spoke to him, looking somewhat like a guard.

Good afternoon traveler, what brings you to the Air Nation?

Hades glanced around, perhaps he wasnt even needed here, he thought, before speaking.

I have been travelling the world, aiding villagers suffering from the affects of death leaving the world, however, looking around, it seems your people are quite unaffected by the pandemic.

The guards eyes narrowed, looking Hades up and down, before he replied.

In terms of resources, yes we are fine, however, it has affected us differently. We are under constant attack from territorial birds of prey, who are attacking us daily to claim the spires. However, with us being unable to kill them, the attacks are getting more and more dangerous by the week, as more birds are bred and learning to fly, we have more to fight off at any given time.

Glancing up into the cloudless sky, Hades was confused for a moment. Why on earth would a territorial bird want to keep attacking a village. At least, for a moment, until Hades realized, they must be carnivores on top, and just like the rest of the world, they where fighting for their right to live in this twisted world. Turning to the guard, Hades spoke.

I have a way, to prevent the attacks, however, it will block out a large majority of the sky, so this bright and vibrant view will become shadowed, but you would be safe.

The guard looked at Hades, before motioning him to come with him. After a short walk, Hades was in one of the larger houses, clearly some for of leader, as the guard relayed what Hades had said to an older looking gentleman sitting at a desk doing paper work. The man looked up, scratching an unshaved beard as he spoke.

This one here, says you think you can help, explain, if you would, kind traveler?

Well, its quite simple. I have a certain technique, which can grow extremely large tree's. These tree's bloom flowers, which release a sleeping toxin. I can grow these tree's from the side of the spires, enveloping the sky and a majority of the lower portion, and create a large barrier of toxin, so any birds who get close, will be knocked unconscious and plummet to the ground. This way you will never be attacked again by them, but the view you adore, will become forest.

As Hades was speaking, two more men had appeared, and when he finished, the three began whispering to themselves, likely weighing up the pro's and con's of such a drastic change to their lifestyle. Finally, the man stood up and spoke.

If what you say is true, then we ask, for the sake of us avoiding an eternal war, please, do what you can for us, and we will be forever in your debt.

With a simple nod, Hades turned, stepping outside. Glancing between the spires, Hades got a quick lay of the area, memorizing it, before weaving a single Handseal, and channeling his chakra into the main pillar he was standing on. From all sides, massive branches sprouted, weaving through the spires, and continuing to envelope the entire area, before rising upwards, creating a dome around the village. On the outside of the branches, hundreds of large flowers bloomed, each on emitting the toxin into the air around them. Through the gaps in the tree's, light still flowed, however, the once bright sky, had become dimly lit. Once finished, the old man returned, offering gifts, however, Hades rejected them and spoke.

My only request, is that you treat any passing travelers as you have me, the world is suffering, and needs as much kindness as it can get, if you can do that, this forest will protect you all. For now, Farewell.

The council agreed, thanking Hades over and over, as Hades made his decent down the spires, heading onto the next location.

The return of Kiko of the Explosive Gale

The land of the Great Wind Desert, within the thousand needles, in a small village, Kiko sits upon a mountain's edge next to one of their famous bridges, eyes shut in a state of meditation, the sound of the vultures could be heard from nearby along with the howls of the wind, from the valleys below.

She took a deep breath causing he chest to rise slightly, her deep valleys on full display, before exhaling gently, as she exhaled, her eyes slowly opened as she glanced outwards into the ravines.

*Sigh~* "I suppose I should get myself warmed up shouldn't I.."

A figure stand silently behind Kiko, as Kiko rose to her feet,

Silent figure: "Are you going to attempt that again?"

"Of course, If I give up then all my training and practice here in the air nation would have been for naught Leraje!"

Leraje her personal Assistant and monkey summoning which accompanied her was stood behind Kiko with a concerned look upon her face, Leraje was one of the higher level monkeys of the monkey kingdom and had been with Kiko for many years.

Kiko had been within the Air Nation for a few years now, she had been helping out this small village when needed and using their high cliffs in order to train and temper herself, it was the perfect environment for her to practice her wind jutsu and her experiment with her new concept.

"I know Miss Kiko, But last time you came close to losing a few limbs and not coming back"

"If I let that bother me and allow fear to take me hold then nothing will change, If I want to improve then I must move forwards, now.. Are you going to spar with me or what?"

*Sigh..* "Yes Miss Kiko"

"Remember Leraje, No jutsu, No chakra, just good ole Taijutsu training to get the blood pumping!"

"Yes Miss!" {You don't need your blood pumping anymore! You get any more hotblooded and your going to pop a vessel!} Leraje would moan inwardly

Kiko would proceed to take a stance and move her right leg back behind her, her feet a shoulders width apart, in a parallel stance, almost like standing on the two opposing corners of a box, Her right hand would be in an open palm position located in front of her solar plexus with the knife edge side facing Leraje, whiles her left hand would take a similar form but would be positioned above it and in the lead slightly in front of her face.

Leraje would grasp her tail, and take a similar stance with her feet, however her back foot, the right foots heel, would be raised and only the ball of her foot would be in contact with the floor, the typical kendo styled stance as she grasped her tail with two hands, Leraje was unique among the monkey kingdom in some respects, whiles most were gifted in aspects of the elements and physical body, as was leraje they all had one thing in common, it was that they relied entirely on their bodies, and appendage's, where as leraje due to her uniqueness used her tail like a sword, her tail was special, it was longer than most of the other monkeys and the end of it was as hard as a blade, much like it was in her transformed state.

Kiko would take the first move, she dashed forward swiftly closing the gap and throwing out her right hand, forming it into a fist as it travelled aiming for Leraje's head.

Leraje would respond in kind, despite her regal appearance and elegant disposition, her way of fighting was much different, She cared little for defence, as the strike came towards her head she shifted her body slightly to the right, and instead thrusted out violently, aiming to pierce Kiko's abdomen, her reach was longer than Kiko's and Kiko knew this, still it was good training and a good workout!

Kiko would follow her momentum forward performing a spin, she would twist her torso, move her right foot across behind her and spin to evade the thrust, during the motion of spinning Kiko would aim an elbow strike with her right arm towards the back of Leraje's head.

However Leraje had seen it too much, it was almost like they had ingrained each others movements into their retina's and brains, the two of them could close their eyes and would still be able to fight each other effectively, Leraje simply bent downwards evading the elbow, at the same time sweeping her tail across aiming for Kiko's legs,

Kiko did not even give it a glance, the moment she missed her elbow she knew the course of action Leraje would take, Kiko quickly tuck jumped, evading the sharp tail, she quickly extended her left leg, rose it upwards and brought it tumbling down aiming to axe kick Leraje.

Leraje would glance up, her eyes narrowing, she would shift herself sideways and utilising the flat side of her tail slam it into Kiko's stomach sending her flying away,

Kiko noticing this and still in mid air, could not do much, she crossed her arms in a guarding form to cover her stomach as she took the brunt of the attack and was sent flying backwards, Kiko would land safely on her feet mind, however it was clear she was unhappy,

Leraje could not help herself from speaking up "You always do this! Keep your feet planted firmly, it is the root your attacks and you are unable to dodge when someone takes advantage of you in mid air!"

"It would be different if we were using chakra but right now you lost! If I had used the sharp edge of my tail you would be split in two!"

Kiko could not help but grit her teeth, it wasn't that she was mad about being told off, but mad at the fact that Leraje was right! she had made an error, had this been a normal fight then it was entirely possible to evade or overpower leraje in mid air, but what if her opponent was stronger or she could not utilise her chakra, what then.

Kiko took a deep breath calming herself once again, "Sorry Leraje, you're right, I made a mistake just now, now lets finish our workout"

The two would continue to spar for the next hour, their exchanges continued to go back and forth with little luck of getting a 1 up over the other, Kiko was a smart girl but she often let her excitement get the better of her, the more she fought the more she would begin to rely on her instincts than use her head to fight, whiles Leraje was the opposite, she was a systematic fighter.

By the end of the exchanges Kiko was covered in light cuts whiles Leraje merely had one or two bruises, it was clear who had the advantage, albeit not a big one.

"We are not finished yet, whiles sparing is a great way to exercise and work on our cardiovascular system, its important we do not neglect our basics!"

"Right!"

Kiko would proceed to lie prone on the floor, placing her arms outwards and her palms to the grounds, performing a set of push up's, she would perform them effortlessly however the longer she went and the more she did, the harder they would get,

"3997! 3998! 3999!...4.. 4000!!"

Kiko with sweat dripping off her forhead and down into her valley peaks would struggle as she hit the 4000 mark, Kiko was accustomed to exercise and especially this style, if she didn't push herself this much then it wasn't worth it!

"Phew~ Squats next! Lets goo!!"

Kiko's blood was pumping strong, she performed her set of exercises to the letter performing squats, kicks and punches, the very basics, all with high rep counts, these were the basics that made up her body and her strength, the sweat at this point had caused her clothes to become wet and cling to her shapely body, as much as she wanted to leave now and go take a long bath, she could not.. she was out here for a reason, she had to continue her training, she had been putting it off for months now after her accident and it had planted a seed of fear within her, if she did not break it now she never would.

Leraje was visibly concerned about Kiko, however she could do nothing to stop her and deep down, she knew that she couldn't, for if she did, she knew her path as a ninja would stop here.

Kiko looked out over the edge of the ravine, she wasn't afraid of heights, nor the vultures which plagued the ravine, she was afraid of her own failures and her own weakness, her accident had caused her to be bedridden for months and then months further had she avoided the ravine and her special training..

Her mind flashed back to the traumatic event, the moment she, whiles in mid air in the ravine, fell to her near death, her body hitting the ground and her bones breaking under the impact, the vivid memory of those ravenous vultures which picked at her skin believing her to be dead, the trauma was her inability to do anything, her failure in experimenting with her own skills and ninjutsu, normally falling would not be a big issue, as long as she could get to the wall she could merely use chakra to walk back up, however she lacked equipment during her past attempt and due to the fierce winds in the ravine and her exhaustion of fending off the several large vultures, was unable to get herself steady, leading to her falling to her near death, if it wasn't for her technique.

First through performing a single handseal the user will bulk their muscle mass up however not enough to slow them down by any means and allow each muscle fibre to be infused with charka that allows these muscles to become elasticated and stronger so they can endure the strain, this allows the user of the monkey contract the ability to stretch their limbs up to mid range like Enma himself, another effect this chakra has on the muscles, learnt by monkey users is the increase in physical strength witch becomes close to enma's himself, due to the charka used to infuse within the muscles to make it more durable and elasticated enough, while in this form thanks to the increase in strength users of this technique get a +20 to all tai techniques.

Whiles under this form the user is able to withstand C rank and below jutsu which cause a type of physical harm fairly easily due to the increase in muscle mass allowing them to tank through and hardly budge from a C rank hit, for example a D rank earth pillar would hardly be felt due to the sheer density of the muscle, a peircing strike of C rank or below would not be able to peirce through the muscle of the body itself, however effects such as burning, paralysis/electrocution or being blown/swept away by techniques are still all very much effective, only the physical damage that would be caused is able to be tanked.

- Lasts 4 turns until the chakra in the users system wears off and his muscle mass returns to normal
- must wait 2 turns between use upon the jutsu ending
- Can only be used 4 times per battle
- Freeform attacks deal B rank damage whiles under this jutsu's effect

Kiko would have been unlikely to have come off as well as she did, this wasn't called the Air Nation for nothing, they were high in the moutains, Kiko had been about half way down already before she lost control and was unable to recover, it just went to show how dangerous these mountains and ravines were, as well as the Vultures which lived within,

Kiko stepped forwards and peered off the edge, looking down, she hesitated, of course it would be no problem if she jumped and relied normally on her wind techniques however what would the purpose of training be if she did that, no.. there was no point to it, her aim was to utilise her blast release in such a way to gain dynamic movement over the battlefield, there was no better place to train than this ravine which boasted a powerful wind pressure and wind currents, if she was able to maintain her balance, her movement and move nimbly within these wind currents then nothing could be said about using it in a regular situation,

She had to experiment further, if she was to complete this new form of fighting she was after she had to take that step and face her trauma, she once again grit her teeth, closed her eyes and finally, she stepped forward, immediately she dropped downwards, entering the ravine and feeling the wind pressure and currents move her about, her memories flashing as her brow furrowed and quivered, her eyes flashed open! she would not allow herself to be subject to her own fears! Kiko as she fell angled her feet towards the wall and shoved off entering the open space, she would immediately begin to gather her bakuton chakra around and through her body.

facing a hand below her she left forth a blast which propelled her forwards slightly, but was met with a fierce current which battered her to the left towards the wall of the ravine, quickly she tried to use her other hand to stabilise herself and let forth another blast, BOOM!, she rocketed back the other way and leaving a hole within the ravine wall, Not good she thought, whiles she wanted power, she couldn't use too much unless she was attacking, she needed pinpoint chakra control and to control her blast radius and thrust in order to control her own movements, at least that is the theory she had come to in her own mind, she tried a few more times having little success, she had managed to control herself to a certain degree, but not enough to achieve true dynamic movement, the image she had in her mind was much more fluid than this, her explosions were to rough, and often too fierce, there were times it would cause her to spin out of control, and other times it would cause her to not move at all.

Kiko was beginning to get frustrated with the situation, how could she achieve her goals here, it was then that a lightbulb went off in her head, she remembered the difficulty of when she was younger, learning how to walk on water, walking up a tree was easy, she just had to find the right medium and off she went with no problems, but water was different, it required constant adjustment, constant changes to be made to match the ripples and waves of the waters surface.

Her explosions didn't need to be a constant medium, it wasn't like walking up a tree, what she needed was constant adjustment, constant small releases of explosions!

She immediately put her idea into practice, this time instead of big explosions to propel herself in a large movement, she would utilise her explosions in a smaller, more controlled but more frequent method, allowing her to adjust her direction more easily, at least that was the theory.

Kiko released a chain explosion almost from her palms aimed downwards, at first it didn't do much, her descent down into the ravine was too quick, however with time she began to slow down, she began to gain control, she gained the ability to move left and right within the air currents and by increasing the power when aiming downwards she was able to propel herself up,

Like water.. she kept thinking to herself, every now and then Kiko would come across a wind current which would cause her to go astray however by believing in this concept and adjusting her explosive power to match, she was able to swiftly make her way through the wind currents barrage unharmed.

Still this was little success, she had simply achieved movement, it was different from her quick explosive dynamic fighting style she had envisioned, in order to do this she had to achieve offense and supplementary use at the same time and even then, she had to make sure that the offensive aspect did not overpower the thrust of the supplementary, if it did, it could have severe consequences,

At this point in time a large flock of vultures had noticed Kiko, Kiko wasn't sure but it almost looked like the same ones who tried to enjoy a taste the last time, of course this was likely in her head.

"Hmmph, I guess you will make good practice!"

Kiko adjusted herself, focused her blast chakra into her feet carefully, and began to utilise the technique from her feet, so far she had only made use of her hands to move, however she would need these against the vultures, the vultures were crafty creatures, they utilised the wind current effectively, allowing themselves to be carried to speed themselves up, they would smash their tough bodies into Kiko who would feel like she was getting hit by a small boulder each time, these things were fast normally, in the wind currents it took her entire concentration to keep them all within her vision, silently another vulture shot towards her, this time Kiko released a blast from her right hand, moving her to the left and out of the way, swiftly following up by a blast released from her elbow which helped launch her left arm and fist forwards swiftly into the vultures side, Kiko tried to utilise another blast from her fist however the moment which she would impact the vulture the explosion she created was too strong and spread, which caused her fist to slow and jolt back slightly, causing her to miss.

she grit her teeth in anger, she knew this was a possibility but she could not control her chakra enough to a pinpoint degree to keep the power yet remove its propulsion, in failing to do so she had injured her shoulder which was now plagued with an aching pain due to the whiplash like movement.

"Damn it!" she cursed! "Again!"

Kiko once again aimed at an incoming vulture this one much bigger than the last time, she knew she would need additional fire power if she wanted to cause it harm, Kiko balanced herself once more, becoming more and more adept as she began to focus on her movement less and less, allowing her instincts to take over and her body to adapt to its usage, almost beginning to embed the concept and technique in muscle memory,

Kiko's focus was solely on the vultures around her, the large vulture barrelled towards her, this time she aimed her right hand upwards, expelled an explosion to move swiftly below the vulture, as she got below she would release a blast from her left foot, propelling her upwards and propelling her knee straight into the underbelly of the vulture, upon impact Kiko would channel a finely tuned slither of blast chakra through her knee into the vulture, causing a small localised explosion which caused a small hole to appear within the vulture itself, looking something akin to a bullet hole, this caused the vulture to scream out in pain and hurdle downwards towards the ravine floor before appearing a bloody mess upon the ground, many vultures flocking to its dead body to eat their fill of flesh,

Kiko didn't have time to look down though, she had felt an epiphany just now, explosive movement, and explosive damage, without recoil to her joints, this was the starting point, she knew how it felt now, she knew what she was looking for, she continued to fend of the vultures, they were endless, and she was beginning to tire, her sweat stinging her eyes and her ragged breathing hurting her chest,

she had to have killed over a hundred vultures but yet there was still hundreds more, so far she had managed to recreate her ideal form 4 times, that was it, over 100 birds and only 4 in which she had reached her desired result, the rest of them had left her limbs and joints feeling sore, one of her arms was currently out of commission, not only had a vulture smashed its body into her arm, her own technique had backfired and she suffered large recoil causing her shoulder joint to pop out of place, she was finding it much harder now to keep her balance stay aloft,

she was just about to call it quits and return to the cliffs when a vulture three times the size of the others appeared, its size made Kiko look like an egg roll..

She couldn't easily escape now, its sheer size alone created wind currents when it flapped its wings which exceeded the regular currents of the ravine, the Large vulture which Kiko had already nicknamed Hades in her head, let out a shrill piercing cry, the entire Air Nation hearing its voice, Kiko couldn't help but cover her ears but only had one hand to do so, her left ear which remained uncovered began to bleed, her hearing now muffled on that side,

The vulture.. Hades.. flapped its wings once more towards Kiko, the wind pressure sending her plummeting dowards towards the ravine floor, under the pressure and current of the wind she found it hard to breath, yet looked upwards to the oncoming monstrosity that was hades, the rest of the vultures moving like bee's reaction to their queen, Kiko grit her teeth and channelled her chakra through her entire body, causing her skin to to become volatile, this was one of Kiko's greatest assets in both defence and offence.

Type:Supplementary|Offensive|Defensive
Rank:S
Range:Short
Chakra:40 (-10 per turn to recharge)
Damage:80
Description:The user channels there bakuton chakra all throughout their body and pushes this chakra into their skin, infusing it giving the bakuton users skin explosive tendencies, by doing this whenever touch is made the users skin will expel a medium sized localised outwards blast that combats anything that makes contact similar to the technique landmine fist, all bar contact with the earth beneath the users feet as to allow walking. This could be a jutsu, weapon or even a fist that touches the user, this includes jutsu's, items or people that the user touches also, The blasts shock waves will repel the jutsu, limb or weapon stopping it in its tracks and halting it's advance, if it's a physical based attack then they are more often then not jolted backwards by the blastsame shock waves stopping them from forcing there way through. An energy based attack will simple stop in its tracks and disperse.

The blast causes large damage to whoever makes physical contact, the shock waves resonate through the opponents body like ripples causing internal damage to the opponent affecting there lungs and will fracture several bones, the blast itself will cause moderate burns to the limb used to strike.

while touch is necessary for the technique, it need only be the slightest of touches for the technique to activate, meaning a jutsu need only to slightly graze the skin before the explosion combats the technique before the technique can do any substantial damage to the user, respecting strengths and weaknesses, this means virtually no damage befalls the user and will allow them to escape from jutsu, weapons with but a mere scratch or scrape, not enough to slow the user down by any means.

Once the blast has been unleashed the jutsu would normally end, however the user can, by continuously feeding chakra to their skin can recharge allowing this to be used for multiple turns however whiles doing so the user will be limited to only the elements that make up bakuton and bakuton itself aswell as non-elemental abilities.

- can only be used twice with a 2 turn cool down between uses
- lasts 4 turns once activated and once deactivated the cool down begins
- can only use bakuton, elements making up bakuton, taijutsu and ninjutsu whiles active
- No S rank bakuton or above in the same turn.

The smaller vultures barrelled towards her, impacting Kiko with their bodies, each one meeting an explosion which either vaporized it, or left it with half a body, Kiko was no longer messing around, she couldn't afford to, her chakra was running low after being in the ravine for hours already, one arm was useless and one ear was useless, anymore and she might not make it out alive..

She balanced herself using what chakra she had left and limbs whiles vultures continued to barrage her, she was lucky that due to her technique she could not feel the impact of the birds at all, however it wouldn't last..

She forced herself upwards, closing the distance to Hades, she threw a punch with her one good arm aimed for its under belly, striking it, the resulting strike caused an explosive pop and a chunk of its flesh was blew away... however Kiko was not nearly as happy as she should have been.. the damn thing didn't even react of flinch.. instead it once again beat its wings and sent Kiko flying down towards the ground, this time chasing after her, it opened its large maw of a mouth attempting to swallow her in one bite, straining herself and using her legs she released an explosion propelling herself out to the side of its mouth before it could shut on her, smaller vultures began to throw themselves at her in bundles, slowly surrounding her, blocking her vision, as Hades almost seemed to be laughing at her, she was beginning to enter a state of unconsciousness, she had strained herself, she was almost empty, more and more vultures surrounded her replacing the dead ones which blew off her body, more piled up behind them trapping her almost within a ball of blood and guts which the vultures happily thrived on, Hades didn't seem to care, not that Kiko could see, Hades mouth slowly began to encompass her including the vultures that surrounded her, its mouth slowly closing up, the light she could see through the gaps of the vultures began to darken, and her consciousness almost slipped away...

Not yet.. she wasn't ready.. her mind flickered back to her last incident.. it was nothing compared to this ordeal.. but this time she didn't feel as helpless despite her situation, she had made big accomplishments in her desired fighting style, it wasn't ready, it wasn't perfect and had many flaws still that she had to address, but she knew its ideal form and had felt it.. no.. not yet.. she wasn't done..

"I. AM.. NOT DONE!!"

Kiko gathered up everything which remained inside her, expelling it out of her pores all around her, blowing her vultures away and blowing Hades mouth wide open and breaking a part of its beak in the process

Type: Offensive|Defensive
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description: The user focuses bakuton chakra around there body and with a burst focuses this chakra out of every pour, creating an outward explosion from the user which has a 360 degree radius travelling around him, above him and below him, the explosion will cause a crater beneath the user as the explosion destroys the very earth he is standing on due to its omni-directional blast. The explosion encompasses the entirety of short range around the user, this explosion can cause burns and internal damage from the shockwaves released.

- Can only be used 2 times per battle
- Must wait 2 turns between usage
- No S-Rank or above Blast in the user's next turn

she erupted with an incredible intensity, and causing Hades to falter for a second, however it was only for a short time, Kiko lost consciousness, she barrelled towards the ground as hades whined from the blast, It was about to chase after the unconscious Kiko however before it could a flash whipped past it, its wing had been deeply cut by a blade of pure wind, Leraje had rushed down as quick as possible cutting off a portion of its wing, Hades struggled to balance itself and blood from its previous few wounds were pouring, it took a final look and thought of pursuing Leraje, almost struggling with itself about its decision but in the end chose to fly off back to its nest whiles it still could to recuperate from its wounds.. this would not be the last time we would see Hades..

Leraje quickly caught up with the unconscious Kiko, taking her in her arms, she quickly performed a few handseals, placed her other hand onto the wall of the Ravine causing a giant dragon of wind to form, the giant dragon safely procured Kiko and Leraje, and flew upwards back onto the cliff edge of the Ravine..

Type: Offensive | Defensive | Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: By doing a series of 3 hand seals (Dragon - Dog - Snake) the user is able to initiate a wind technique made from the ground. Using wind chakra in the surface of the ground (earth, dirt, deserts etc) the user controls the air particles to lift rapidly, ripping the ground on a small level in order to bring up dirt, dust and small broken up rock with the air. The chakra enhanced air carries the debris with it as the user uses shape manipulation to create a dragon that resembles the water dragon technique, rivaling it in size, though due to the wind properties the dragon can achieve flight but only at the user's base speed. It is also to be noted that the outside of the Dragon is harmless smooth wind, while the inside of it is made of the earthen debris and sharpened wind. This allows the user to ride on the dragon to fly or evade the opponent without the risk of being cut by his own technique. Once materialized into existence the dragon uses the chakra that it was created from to sustain itself independently of the users control in order to aid the user while the user holds his own. On the other hand the real power comes from its ability to combine the wind it's made of with the earthen material it brought up with it. From any part of its body, the dragon can release large streams (similar to the water bullet jutsu) of wind that carries sharply coated earthen debris; including large rock chunks, dust, dirt etc. These streams equal to an A-rank (60 dmg) attack and the range of the streams reach up to 15m away from the dragon. Alternatively the dragon can reverse the flow of wind in its body, creating a vortex on any point on the surface of its body that would suck up things that the part of the body is aimed at. The suction's reach extends out to mid range, allowing the dragon to suck in anything within 15m of his immediate area. This ability counts as a move by the user and the sucked in target or item would be cut up and destroyed by the sharp wind and large debris spinning inside the dragon, equaling an A-rank (60 dmg) attack from the inside.

☆ Usable twice per battle
☆ Can't be used in consecutive turns after ended
☆ Lasts three turns (unless cancelled)
☆ Each ability used by the dragon counts as a move
☆ No S-Rank or above Wind on the turn this is deactivated
☆ The dragon can only use his ability 3 times, this so it has sufficient chakra left to sustain its own form.

Leraje released the technique and quickly performed what medical care she could, Kiko was covered in bite marks as her blast technique that was keeping the birds away had wore off a while ago, she was losing blood and needed care, Leraje did what she could to stop the bleeding and wrap the wounds, but after a while Leraje chose to rush Kiko to the healer in the Air Nation where she would recieve treatment and would be unconscious for a while, she was fed chakra pills and her bleeding was stopped, her life had been saved now all she needed was time..

Meng Hao! The village Healer

A couple of weeks went by since Kiko's ordeal with Hades, her injuries were quite severe and the chakra exhaustion was no joking matter, enough time had passed for a lot of these injuries to heal however, Kiko finally began to stir, her eyelids quivered and her movements shifted before finally opening her eyes, the sun glaring, Kiko winced slightly slowly adjusting her eyes to the sunlight, finally she had time to take in her surroundings a little, she found herself in an unfamiliar room, a simple bed, a few tapestries adorning the walls, dusty books littering the floors and shelves, and a cauldron above a fire pit in the centre of the room, the cauldron looked strange from the usual you would see, this wasn't a simple pot to brew stew in, this was decorated lavishly, adorned with majestic carvings such as those of phoenixes and dragons.

Kiko slowly moved herself round to get herself out of bed, wincing in pain as she did, she looked around again but could find neither head nor tails of Leraje, she held her head, her brow furrowed as she tried to remember what had happened, she could recall all the events but could not figure out how she got here, she assumed Leraje had somehow rescued her from her peril, however she was nowhere to be seen, she recalled the ordeal once again, a smirk creeping on her face as she remembered breaking part of the B*****ds beak, she couldn't smile for long though as she once again winced in pain.

This pain she felt was strange, sure some of it was her physical injuries, but there was something else, something she couldn't quite put her finger on, she thought for a second and was about to sink into deeper contemplation when the door to the room suddenly opened up, there stood a tall man, his hair long and flowing, he wore light blue robes, the wrinkles on his face showed his years of wisdom, however the look in his eyes showed the killing intent and merciless attitude he once possessed however only for a second.

"Oh so your awake" the man said casually, "Well its about time I suppose, most of your injuries have already disappeared"

The man would go about placing a few herbs within the strange cauldron as he spoke, he placed a lid on top and heated the cauldron to a certain level before stopping, turning to face Kiko.

"Where am I?" Kiko asked

"You are currently in my residence located towards the bottom of the mountain within the Air nation"

"I see, did you save me? where is my companion Leraje"

"In a certain sense it was I who saved you, however it was your companion who brought you to me"

"Leraje did! she's here! let me see her where is she?"

"I said she brought you here, I never said she stayed, to get me to help you she promised to do anything I asked of her, I sent her to go get the gizzards of that damn buzzard, I told her if she couldn't do it to not bother returning and your life would be mine to own, as it is.. I haven't seen your companion in a number of weeks"

"YOU WHAT! BASTARD!"

Kiko was outraged, how could this person have Leraje go fight and even expect her to kill that thing Hades, he seemed to know what it was so how could he simply send Leraje to her death like that, and to try and take ownership of her life as well! unforgivable!

Kiko stood up hastily, she clenched her fist and dashed at the man, channelling chakra into her fist she would swing, or at least thats what she wanted to do, as soon as she attempted to move or mould her chakra she felt a severe pain in her body, almost like burning needles were moving about inside her, she screamed and fell to her knees.

"I see, so its as I thought"

The older man went into deep through and his hand moved and began rubbing his chin

At this moment Leraje came rushing in and bursting through the door hearing Kiko's scream, she ran over to help secure her body and stop Kiko collapsing

"Miss Kiko! you musn't push yourself!"

Kiko hearing Leraje's voice calmed down, she looked to her side, still in pain but managing, she was in disbelief, the man had told her that Leraje was gone, that she had gone to kill that thing.

Before she could ask the questions herself the older man spoke

"My name is Meng Hao, It was Leraje who brought you to me and it was I who have treated you these past few weeks, you were quite lucky, externally, as bad as it looked was treatable with my methods and herbs, but as I feared, it seems your chakra systems pathways have been damaged, quite extensively at that, I currently do not have the necessary herbs on hand to help you"

Kiko listened attentively and slowly her facial expression turned to one of disbelief

"what can I do then! you said you you don't have the herbs which means you are able to repair my chakra pathways as long as you have the herbs!"

"That is quite correct, however during these last few weeks a lot of my herbs have been used already on your external recovery, and I could not repair your chakra pathways until you had gained consciousness and I had proved my deduction correct, the treatment will also require you to be awake. That being said you should feel no pain providing you do not attempt to use your chakra, the reason you have been experiencing discomfort is because you naturally try to use your chakra subconsciously, and well.. you have seen what happens when you use it willingly!"

"I am currently unable to leave, I have other people I need to take care of and won't be expecting a supply delivery for several weeks, however by then you chakra pathways would have repaired themselves in a way that will make it impossible for you to channel chakra and mould it effectively, you will essentially lose your ability to be a ninja"

"Of course, you have the option to go and find these herbs yourself, however I suggest if you do so that you take half the list and your companion take the other half, it will half the time and the more dangerous locations she should be able to handle, you on the other hand would be a hindrance, but with these few herbs on the list you should at least be able to gather these ones, oh and if you could pick extra for me that would be great, with the amount of herbs I used on you I barely have enough to help anyone else!"

Kiko and Leraje both took half the list of herbs, there were about 5 herbs on Kiko's list whiles Leraje seemed to have the bulk of it, it seemed most of the herbs necessary were quite rare and dangerous to obtain.

"Leraje! I will meet you back here in 5 days time! I hope you have a safe journey!"

"You too Miss Kiko"

With everything that needed to be said having been said.. the two set out to gather the necessary herbs, Leraje would have no troubles, despite there being difficulties in their locations there wasn't enough to cause Leraje any real problems, the only problem would be time, Kiko on the other hand, despite having the easier list, was bound to have a tougher time

Kiko made her way out of the building, being greeted by a quiet street, she took out the list she had just been given and slowly looked it over, their was a description of each herb, its location and what it looked like, starting with the first herb on the list Kiko would slowly make her way towards the higher mountains.. the first herb on her list Jade Spirit Root, grown on the edge of the mountains sheer cliffs, coming out of the walls. this herb can be distinguished by the herbs greenish glow.

Kiko's first trial would be to harvest this herb and get enough to help the healer Meng Hao out, considering this was supposed to be a fairly common herb she wasn't too worried, Kiko made her way across the stone bridges, slowly making her way into the wild mountains, the greenery around here began to get more lush, and the mountainsides were jagged, many more ledges to grab a hold of compared to the sheer drop of the Ravine,

Kiko explored the cliff edges as she kept an eye out for the noticeable green glow, every now and then one of the birds would chirp and cause Kiko to stand on end much like a cat, if a certain person had been around she would have been chuckling endlessly, never the less Kiko had many reason's as to why such a sound would jolt her.. her ear was in fact still ringing, she travelled further along, crushing the grass beneath her feet, nearly slipping down the edge every now and then as the cliff edge crumbled.

As Kiko continued walking getting tired of her search, the ground gave way from underneath her again before she quickly recovered and stabilised herself

"Hyaah!! oooh stupid ground!"

She yelled as she stomped her foot a couple times, this time causing the ground to completely give way beneath her, causing her to slide down butt first down onto the 10 meter ledge below, landing on her butt.

"Ohhh! damn it"

She exclaimed, she slowly got up to her feet and brushed herself off, removing the dust and dirt than clung to her body, she was just about to climb back up the wall when at the corner of her eye she noticed a greenish gleam, on the ledge she stood upon, facing the wall there was a little alcove, underneath this alcove grew several large shoots of Emerald Spirit Roots.

She slowly and carefully harvested the herbs whiles not removing their source of growth and placed them within her bag, it was at this point she noticed that it was beginning to get dark, she hastily made her way back up the mountain, despite her lack of chakra right now, she was still a ninja, and ninja had to be physically fit, at the very least she could perform basic taijutsu and make use of her well trained body, it was just a shame that she was still feeling pain every now and then as she would naturally, subconsciously allow her chakra to flow.

She found a nearby tree, one that wasn't too high but was high enough to gain a decent vantage and hide herself within, she pulled herself upwards, climbing towards the top branches, she found the sturdier more obstructed branch and took a seat, this was where she would remain for the night, she would enter a light snooze, resting up whiles waking regularly to keep a look out, morning slowly came, the suns rays shining and breaking through the leaves as they swayed within the winds grace,

"Yawwn!"

Kiko would stretch and look around as she awoke, realising that she was being far cautious she carefully leapt out of the tree and landed softly, she once again removed the list of the herbs she had to find, she had already found the first one, and plenty of it in fact, next on the list was the Soul Stealing Lotus, this lotus despite its fierce name was mainly given due to its sheer beauty, its petals were pure white and they gave off a mysterious sparkle and glow as the mixture of the suns rays and the gentle mist from the ponds they inhabited covered the area.

Kiko knew there was in fact a few ponds in the area, the closest one being a couple miles up the mountain, if she continued her current path she would reach it in an hour or so.

Kiko continued up the mountain, every now and then she would stop and forage for edible berries and fruits, in this part of the forested area the fruits and berries weren't bountiful but there was enough for now to eat, and it would keep Kiko satiated for a while, she would want nothing more than to hunt for a nearby boar or a deer and cook that to eat however right now she didn't have the time, she pressed onwards

One step after another she crushed the leaves, grass and bugs beneath her as she made her way to the pond, finally the pond was within sight, excited she took off into a sprint, covering the last bit of distance quickly, however once she got there she couldn't help but show the disappointment on her face, empty.. not a single lotus, not a single petal.. not even a single fish, this was no pond, this was a stagnant waste of a puddle at best, she grit her teeth as she tried to think of the next closest area to her that would fulfil the conditions.

"hmm, a pond like in the description here, it would likely be at a higher altitude, if mist is to frequent the area, its likely to be in a more open location to allow the sun's rays to fully shine through, I should keep going and move away from this forest area if I want to find the Soul Stealing Lotus"

coming to her deduction through logic and reasoning she began to make her way away from the forest area, but further up the mountains, whiles she didn't find it hard, she did have to struggle more than she usually would, climbing the sheer cliffs took a bit of effort and through sheer force of habit she would sometimes try to move her chakra in order to overcome her barriers, however she was cruelly reminded of the pain that seared her body, with gritted teeth, she pushed on, ignoring the pain that plagued her.

Along her way. as she searched for the pond she took a close look at the other herbs needed,
1. Emerald Spirit Root
2. Soul Stealing Lotus
3. Yang Gathering Fruit
4. 50 year old Spirit Ginseng
5. Blue Thunder Lily

Each one supposedly easy to find and gather, and even though there was a description and explanation below each herb it was still difficult for a novice to find.

Kiko's vigilance had risen to a peak, she scoured the land as she passed by, finally she towards an opening within the trees, leading into an open area, the open area was bathed in sunlight, at first sight there was nothing special about the area, however however within the middle of the field was a solitary tree, this tree was larger than most and hanging from its branches were many golden fruits, they gave of a light radiance which would calm the soul and energise the body just by looking at them!

Kiko double checked her list, low and behold here it was, number 3 Yang Gather Fruit, a fruit which gathers the sunlight and stores its energy within its flesh, a fruit supposedly used to energise an individual and had restorative properties, excited, Kiko made her way towards the Yang Gathering Spirit Tree, she moved swiftly towards the fruits, quickly extending her hand to grab one off the tree, it was at this moment that she noticed a golden flash in the corner of her eye and a bad feeling to accompany it, just as she was about to snatch the fruit the pulled back her hand and leapt back, right as she pulled it back a large snakes head smashed past where she had just been moments ago.

"Great! I thought this was supposed to be easy but look at that thing! its massive, if I didn't know better I would say this was someone summoning!"

The snake was large, and had a golden colour, it was clear that it was protective of the fruit, it seemed that it had made this tree its home, this snake was nothing to scoff at, whiles it wasn't as large as your typical summoning, it wasn't too far off, it was clear that its golden sheen and size was likely due to eating these fruits.

Kiko had no choice, the snake looked plenty strong, but she had to fight if she wanted these fruits, she needed these fruits, it was this or quit being a ninja and she absolutely could not allow the latter.

"It should be fine as long as I don't draw upon my chakra, it wont be easy, those scales of his don't look soft.."

Kiko clenched her fists, and took her fighting stance, she raised her awareness and perception to its heights as she glared at the large gold snake, she couldn't just stand here and do nothing, and it looked like the snake didn't want to get too far away from the tree itself.

Kiko dashed forwards headlong towards the snake, the snake responded in kind a struck with its large body baring its fangs towards Kiko as it went for a bite, Kiko leapt upwards above the snakes head dodging the strike with a frontwards flip, meanwhile preparing her right fist as she smashed it down onto the snakes scales just behind its head, there was a loud smack, similar to punching metal, however not quite as hard, but not far off either.

The snake merely shrugged off the punch itself, and quickly turn around aiming to bite once again at Kiko, she grit her teeth and jumped backwards, reaching into her pouch, grabbing a shuriken and lobbing it at the snake, aiming down its throat into the open mouth, Kiko thought she had it, but the creatures intelligence seemed better than most and it easily avoided the thrown shuriken.

It instead moved past and around it as it pursued Kiko, once again going for a large bite, Kiko went to leap upwards once again, however the snake seemed to be prepared, it had wrapped its tail around and placed it above Kirikoe preparing to smash it down as she jumped, unfortunately for Kiko it had succeeded, as she leapt the tail came crashing down onto her body, smashing her into the ground, the blow winded her for a second and she couldn't help but cough several times, she couldn't allows herself to stay still though, luckily the snake itself wasn't large enough for its tail to fully crush her and she was able to get out, just as the snake smashed its head down again aiming for Kiko.

Kiko however was also intelligent, she had reached into her pouch and left a few explosive tags down onto the ground, as the snaked smashed its head down they exploded with a strong force, Kiko couldn't help but cheer for her ingenuity

"Ha! take that you stupid worm!"

the snakes head rose back up, its left eye covered in blood, it didn't seem to affect the snakes morale however, as it simply slithered forwards at speed once again, Kiko crouched slightly, preparing herself to spring upwards, as the snake approached she sprung forth delivering a wide kick from the side aimed towards the side of the snakes head, causing the snakes direction to alter, and slither on past her, Kiko deliberated aimed for the snakes blind side, however it didn't help much considering its tongue was still hissing away, never the less the kick was a success this time, although the damage once again seemed very miniscule,

(Konoha Daisenkō) - Leaf Great Flash
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short
Charka cost: N/A
Damage points: 40
Description: Similar to Tsunade’s Sky leg but the user user charges at their opponent and unleashes a powerful lateral kick aiming at the head that will send their opponent flying away.

"This is no good, at this rate, it will eventually get me and me simply smashing its scales like this isn't helping,"

Kiko was wracking her brain, whiles also avoiding the swift attacks of the snake, she had diverted its attacks and dodged its strikes numerous times, she was beginning to tire also, she had a plan but to implement it would take guts, but it was all she had.

She fished through her pouch pulling out several explosive tags and 2 Kunai, the snake after missing its last attack had turned around by this point and had started making it way towards her, she placed a large bundle of explosive tags onto the floor and within the centre had placed the Kunai, the other kunai she kept within her hand, as the snake came closer, it once again dived towards Kiko, opening its mouth almost from straight above, Kiko gave a smirk, she quickly dived backwards as fast as she could manage whiles throwing out her other kunai aimed at the explosive tags, setting them off, the explosion pushed Kiko a distance back at pace, whiles it erupted nearly entirely within the snakes maw, however this wasn't the end, the kunai that had been placed centrally by Kiko, powered by the explosions force had erupted upwards, straight into the mouth of the snake, with such deadly force it pierced upwards, straight into the head of the creature, the kunai's force was such that it had pierced a small hole within the snakes scales from within its head, it did not break the scales but rather pushed them up slightly.

The snake, fell. its body unmoving, blood pouring from its mouth, Kiko gasped for air, this was not an easy fight for her, without her chakra, even though she was proficient at taijutsu, this snakes scales had made all of that ineffective, only by utilising her head and coming up with an effective strategy did she finally win.

Kiko stumbled forwards, walking towards the tree she made her way across the field, exhausted she grabbed hold of one of the trees trunks and pulled herself up, she gathered the Yang Gathering Fruits together and placed them in her bag, she proceeded to head upwards and spend the night within the tree, entering a slumber, The presence of the snake ensured the area was free from dangerous creatures, not many were brave enough to approach, here she stayed until Morning.

Morning came, Kiko felt exhausted and it was the third day already, she had only found 2 herbs so far, and one was essentially by pure luck, all she could do was hope that the other herbs were easier to find,

She jumped down from the tree and began to make her way up the mountainside again, apart from feeling a bit tired and achy from her fight with the large snake, and a bit of strain on her chakra system which she had to hold back, she was pretty much ok.

Kiko once again took out her list, and checked it thoroughly, crossing off the Yang Gathering Fruit in the process,

1. Emerald Spirit Root
2. Soul Stealing Lotus
3. Yang Gathering Fruit
4. 50 year old Spirit Ginseng
5. Blue Thunder Lily

Kiko had a good idea where the Soul Stealing Lotus could be found however it seemed that she wouldn't be able to obtain it until she had traversed much further up the mountain, for now she set her sights on both the 50 year old Sprit Ginseng, and the Blue Thunder Lily.

The Blue Thunder Lily, this was a bluish silver Lily which contained the leaves contained veins of dark blue coursing through its petals and leaves, according to the description this particular plant was located within dark spaces growing next to magnetic ore.

As for 50 year old Sprit Ginseng, it was located in many locations and Kiko had seen many already, the issue was that none of them had been growing long enough, Ginseng's value was estimate by its age, and is done in set of 50 years, a 50 year old ginseng didn't mean looking for a ginseng which was exactly 50 years old, it meant finding a ginseng either 50 years or older. the higher the age the rarer and harder to get the ginseng was.

Kiko finished looking over the list and made her way towards the edge once again, keeping an eye out for her desired herbs, she looked around closely walking along the mountain side edge, a few hours passed and in the meantime Kiko would take the chance to once again forage, picking out various safe berries, she was tempted to eat one of the Yang Gathering Fruits in her bag however she forced herself not too, she didn't want to take any unnecessary risks.

She remembered back to the large snake she had killed as she was foraging, wishing she had taken the chance slice off some meat to enjoy, although probably a hefty task in itself with its armour,

Kiko continued steadily across the rocky and slightly green terrain, bushes scattered here and there, as she was busy climbing up one of the cliff edges across a small ravine, she noticed the existence of what seemed like a cave, the cave entrance wasn't too large but it wasn't small either, with enough effort up the mountain side and enough vigilance anyone would notice it.

Greenery had begun growing down over the ledge however and was only just starting to cover up the entrance, the ravine wasn't a large gap but it was a bit too much for her to jump over, it would have been a different story if she could utilise her full potential however it wasn't worth worrying about now.

She quickly took out some supplies from her pack and fashioned a make shift axe, she started to smack at a nearby tree slowly but surely chopping it down, the tree was fairly thick and tall, as the finishing touches Kiko clenched her right fist and gave it a swift and firm punch, like the last straw on a donkeys back the tree collapsed, falling towards the other side of the canyon.

Following it across, Kiko came to the entrance of the cave, and peered inside, it was hard to see too far in to begin with due to the darkness however, by fashioning a simple torch with some cloth and a sturdy branch it was fairly easy to get some light going, Kiko headed into the darkness.

The over all journey into the cave was fairly uneventful, surrounded by rock, stone and the occasional weed sticking out of the cave walls it was quite boring, every now and then there would be a slight chirp of a bat but they were unbothered by Kiko's presence.

The cave wasn't too deep, in fact as Kiko progressed inwards the narrow walls of the cave itself began to open up, eventually reaching a dead end, the end of the cave seemed to almost have its own light source as it gave off a soft blue glow as she entered, within the opening of the cave was a much larger open space, its walls covered with various coloured rocks, a few crystal like formations.

Kiko took a few crystals she liked the look of and placed them in her bag, they were not overly sturdy so breaking them off the walls were quite easy, she peered through one of the larger pieces she held in her hand that had a clearer transparency, beyond the crystal she caught a glimpse of a soft bluish glow coming from one of the walls, she placed the crystal away and waltzed over to investigate, moving around a few regular boulders there was a light bluish stone sticking out of the wall, however when one touched it, it seemed metallic in nature, Kiko removed a Kunai from her bag to see if she could pry the stone or metal out, as she approached the metal to give it a try and as it was placed on the object, she noticed that her Kunai stuck to it, needing to be pulled off otherwise it would stay put, seeing this Kiko couldn't help but become a bit excited, she looked around frantically nearby, but alas, there was no herb in sight, at least not next to this magnetic ore,

Kiko didn't give up though, if there was one magnetic ore that also meant there were more, she started scouring the cavern looking all over, she found several magnetic ores but again without the herb, she began to get disheartened.

"arrggh! there has got to be a herb around here somewhere, I refuse to believe such a place can't give birth to at least one Blue Thunder Lily!"

Kiko kept her pace in her search, eventually she had searched the entire cavern, there she stood alone at the back, her shoulders shaking from what one couldn't tell whether anger or tears, in her state she let out a might punch on one of the rock's, expecting her hand to meet resistance, however all she felt and heard was the sound of shattering as the crystal which she had thought was a rock smashed apart, the crystal was different from the others it had the same colouring and texture of a rock, behind it a small entrance, barely big enough for her to crawl through.

Not willing to give up her search she began crawling, the small tunnel was narrow and it was hard to traverse due to lack of space but Kiko managed, shifting her body in a way which made her almost seem like a worm, finally she made it through, greeted by a smaller cavern, but with a much brighter glow to it.

Within the cavern Kiko's eyes lit up, there was no need to search here, in plain sight there they were, the herbs swaying gently on the caverns floors, its trade mark dark blue veins for all to see, she was about to run on over start collecting when she also noticed the other root like plant sticking out the walls edge, Ginseng! 50 year old Spirit Ginseng! the give away for this age ginseng was in the colouring and the number of off shoots it had, in this case the ginseng had 7 offshoots and was a slightly darker in colour, this indicated it was at least 70 years of age and moving into 80 years!

Kiko was ecstatic, she jumped up and down like a little girl meeting a puppy for the first time, quickly she ran around gathering up a fairly decent haul of both Blue Thunder Lily's and Ginseng, making sure to leave behind the rest so they wasn't all harvested and would have time to grow further.

It seemed that by having the large crystal block its initial entrance the herbs were given ample time to grow, it was likely that these herbs existed in the previous cavern but over the years by over scavenging and by vicious harvesters the cavern was eventually cleaned out, it would likely take years longer for anything to begin growing there and that was under the assumption people left it alone.

Still, Kiko made her way out of the cave, making sure to cover the entrance to the smaller cavern before she left, as she walked out of the cave she was greeted by the sun's rays, she looked up as she basked in its radiance, now all that was left was the Soul Sealing Lotus.

She looked upwards where she could see the peak of the mountain, it would still take her at least half a day if not longer to reach the top, it was the only place where the Lotus could be.

One foot after another she trekked, hand one over the other as she climbed sheer cliffs and passed narrow ledges, air had begun to get thinner here and so Kiko's breathing was noticeably ragged, every now and then needing to rest, she had spent her days mainly using berries for sustenance but it was now that she beginning to get thirsty and her lips were beginning to get dry, the Yang Gather Fruit was looking tastier and tastier.

She continued on finally entering the mistier part of the mountain, the mist was thick but not obstructive like a fog, she was still able to easily see through, she reached a part of the mountain where it almost seemed like steps, they were not carved out neatly like regular steps would be but it was obvious they were still meant to be steps, Kiko climbed steadily, one step after another, it felt like each step was getting heavier as she slowly ascended to the top of the mountain, she couldn't help be nervous, she was told everything could be found on the list on this mountain, and they were easy to obtain.. perhaps it would be easy if she had her chakra but for her right now, this journey had been fairly treacherous, mid thought she finally took her last step to the top.

Atop the mountain existed not a pond, but what seemed like a small lake, mist covered the lake and a few small islands existed within, on these islands trees existed and their petals fall onto the waters surface giving the lake a beautiful look, what was most promising however was that on this lake, numerous Soul Stealing Lotus drifted, there petals sparkled under the mist and suns distorted rays.

Carefully, Kiko began to gather them, she picked up one and placed it as carefully as she could into her bag, she was about to take another when she heard a voice coming from the middle of the lake.

"You only need one." said the voice calm and gently

"I am impressed you made it here and you have worked hard to get here"

Kiko looked over towards the voice, there on the middle of the lake, on a small island a figure sat cross legged, as the mist cleared a little she was able to make out his features, with the combination of the voice and features there was only one person she could think of,

"Meng Hao"

Kiko spoke allowed, her expression one of confusion and disbelief, what was he doing here and why?

"I thought for sure that you would lose to the Yang Crushing Viper, however your ingenuity was impressive, you deserved every one of those Yang fruits you gathered"

Unable to bear it any longer, full of confusion she raised her voice

"What are you doing here! didn't you have patients to attend to! isn't that why I'm out here in the first place"

Meng Hao looked over and sighed

"I may be old, but I'm not at the point where I have lost my vision or skills, I saw you, that day you were battling it out with the vultures and that thing, you impressed me and whiles in the end you ultimately would have died, your conviction and perseverance showed that one day you could become great, I need someone I can eventually pass my skills onto, and you are who I have chosen to pass it onto!"

"What do you mean! I went on this gathering fest so I could repair my chakra pathways!"

"While it is true you have damaged your chakra pathways, it was not to the extent of being unable to mould chakra.. although the pain you feel is real"

Meng Hao flickered and appeared before Kiko, with a few swift taps on her pressure points it felt like her once contained chakra was ready to rage like a damn being burst, however rather than losing control and letting it flow like it wanted, her ability to contain and control it to a higher degree was much more obvious than before. Kiko looked upwards towards Meng Hao who revealed the whites of his eyes and the veins that trademarked the clan of the hyuuga.

"What I did was release your chakra points, I first sealed your chakra during your healing to prevent your own chakra from doing continued damage and to keep you from suffering pain, I also noticed during your experiments with your technique that you lacked fine chakra control to make use of it, so I healed your wounds, sealed your chakra and used it as a method to hone your skills and chakra control, whiles at the same time it reaffirmed your resolve to be a ninja"

"So I will tell you again.. It is you! who I have chosen to pass my skills onto"

"Me? B-.. Why did you send off Leraje if you were only testing me"

"Leraje? Oh I needed those supplies anyways and I could not have her helping you through the ordeal, it wouldn't have made good training otherwise"

"B-But I already have a teacher!"

"Have two!" Meng Hao replied swiftly

"Arrgh.."

"You have no reason to refuse and its not like I am asking you to stay here and learn it all at once, you are free to come and go as you have been and once you are ready to learn, you can come back to this location, this mountain which you stand on is my home, I call it Heng Luo Mountain"

"Right then, pass me the herbs, whiles its true you can move your chakra it is still best you don't, it will make your chakra pathways worse and the pain will only get worse unless it is healed,"

Kiko nodded gently and fished out the number of herbs she had obtained, handing them over

"Right then!"

Meng Hao pulled out a small summoning scroll, releasing a Cauldron from within

"This here is a Pill cauldron, It is what I use to make special Pills in order to heal, empower or if I really want to.. Poison my enemies, It is one of the skills that I will eventually pass onto you"

As he finished speaking Meng Hao performed a few handseal and finished by tapping his furnace, immediately he brought the water to a boil, his hand remained fixed on the cauldron as he slowly placed each herb within, one at a time he would place them and after each one he would allow a specific amount of time to pass before placing the next, it seemed he was waiting for the perfect intervals, his hand that remained on the cauldron controlled the heat perfectly to what was needed, the heat could not stay at one temperature the entire time and needed to be brought to different levels to match the herb.

Eventually as he came to the end of his concocting, the pill furnace began to rumble, he gave it a firm tap and the pills that formed inside flew out, a total of 6 were caught within Meng Hao's hand.

"Here, take one of these every day, focus on the pill as it enters your stomach and dissolves, as it dissolves use your chakra to mould and take the medicinal liquid down your chakra pathways along with your chakra, this will sooth your pathways and also help reinforce them, you should have noticed that snakes scales, The Yang Gathering Fruit is great for healing, re-energising and reinforcing the body"

"Once you have done this, then you will be fine to utilise your chakra as normal, we will stay here until you have done so, my dwelling is towards the back of this peak and is located at the back of the mountain"

Kiko nodded as she listened to the explanation before suddenly thinking of Leraje

"What about Leraje! She expects me back in another 2 days!"

"Its fine, its fine, I left her a note"

Back at the Air Nation on the cabin door

Leraje slowly staggers back towards their rendezvous location, tired and battled, with blood stains here and there and over her tail she dragged back a back of herbs, as she got closer she could notice the wooden sign hanging upon the door, its message supposedly the location of Kiko, unknown to Leraje of course

Many days had passed as Kiko had stayed on top of Heng Luo Mountain, her chakra pathways had repaired and were stronger than ever, thanks to the medical techniques employed by Meng Hao, it was easy to see he was a Master in his own right, perhaps one that would not be easy to find again..

During her days practicing and training herself on top of one of the islands on the lake atop the mountain, Meng Hao once again walked out of his dwelling and came to stand by Kiko, He was holding a note of some sort and had his brow furrowed as he read the contents of the letter.

As his eyes came to stop skimming the letter they flickered towards Kiko,

"Kiko! I need you to do something for me, I need you to head into Air Nation and meet with an Air Nation official who goes by the name of Wuexin Lee, you need to go meet with him and bring him back here as quick as you can, you will find him near my old dwelling there"

"Hmm? Why do I need to go get him? Would it not be faster for you to collect him?"

Sigh~ Meng Hao let out a saddened sigh as he stared off into the distance

"If I move from this location, or exert myself too far then the poison that exists within me will speed up, this location breeds the perfect medicine and allows me to slow down and stop the poison, I can leave but not for extended periods of time and this time it is likely to be dangerous, I must pass on what I know to you before my life's flame is extinguished"

"Your prowess in medicine is rivalled by few? Can you not cure it?

"There are certain things in nature that cannot be cured, at least not by normal means, Anyways enough talk, you must leave now!"

"Once Leraje returns with the other ingredients I will send her to meet you!"

"Right, I'm off!"

With that Kiko would disappear in a blur, dashing off the mountain and hurrying to the Air Nation, She had become familiar with the mountains topography now and it merely took her half a day to traverse its terrain and reach the Air nation.

Storyboard Elements

S - Guard someone very important

The Air Nation Elder, Wuexin Lee!

Kiko arrived within the Air Nation, she was told that she was needing to meet with an important figure, however she wasn't sure of his features, she head towards the old stone dwelling where she once found herself waking up in, looking around everything was going about itself as normal, she did see the occasional guards roaming the streets seeming as if they were looking for someone but she ignored it for now,

She continued on where she eventually reached the worn stone building, slowly she opened the door and walked through, she was greeted with a yelp, as a ceramic pot was thrown her way, Kiko of course merely flicked the pot as it approached causing it to burst into pieces as she heard the babbling of a man in the corner

"Hey who's throwi..."

"Please No, it wasn't me, I didn't do it, No!"

Kiko's words couldn't even leave her mouth as the man's babbling hysterics overshadowed her words

"Hey Hey, I'm not going to do anything, I'm just here to meet with a Wuexin Lee! are you him? do you know where he might be?"

The man upon hearing his name stopped his whining and whimpering and finally took a full look at Kiko

"Eh..? Who are you? what are you doing here?"

Sigh~
Kiko was starting to rub her head as she regretted rushing here, but if Meng Hao said it was important than it must be so

"I have been sent here by Meng Hao to meet with a Wuexin Lee"

"Meng Hao? he sent you? I thought he would show himself! now what do I do!"

"Meng Hao told me to escort you up the mountain and bring you to him"

"Meng Hao did? then we best leave now! guards are everywhere, the longer we wait the more guards will show up"

Kiko remembered seeing the guards earlier upon her entrance to the village, but didn't think anything of it, now it made more sense, there was rarely any guards this low on the mountain and it did look like they were looking for someone, Kiko furrowed her brow as she channelled her chakra through her body, it moved swiftly with no pain to speak off, it felt like her chakra system had gained larger pipes letting through more water than before.

Kiko activated her chakra sensing ability, locating the positions of numerous chakra signatures, of course at this minute she didn't know who these belonged to exactly but none of the civilians here were giving off strong chakra signatures, only the guards had slightly higher levels from what she could tell..

"hmm, this will be awkward, stay behind me, stay close, I'm going to take a peak real quick, when its clear to move, follow closely and explain to me the strengths of the guards here, that will be best"

Kiko slowly opened the door, being careful not to reveal Wuexin behind her, she looked down the street and saw a few guards talking to the locals, the nearby locals would shake their head before the guards moved on asking the next person, it was clear they were searching for someone, and now with some sight she was able to make some connections with them and the chakra signatures, it was clear the guards were not weak, but not overly strong either, in ninja terms they were equivalent to a Genin, it also seemed like each guard had a very similar chakra signature showing they had been placed through the same training, the only difference between them being the small difference that every person had making them unique, but also making them trackable..

The guards moved back up towards the mountain

Kiko turned back, gave Wuexin a look and nodded to move, they slowly and casually walked out the old stone building and started making there way slowly and calmly down the mountain, avoiding standing out and attracting attention, during this time Wuexin would impart the knowledge of the guards to Kiko,

"The guards have all been trained specially, they are strong and persistent, they all specialise in the wind attribute, our guards boast the same battle potential as that of a ninja!"

Wuexin would make a proud and cocky expression, as he explained the guards to Kiko

"ok well don't be too happy, these same guards seem to be out looking for you!.."

Wuexin's facial expression changed abruptly, being taken aback by the comment and realised his mistake, it was true, what was he bigging them up for, these same guards were now out for his life

"Don't worry, These guards are well trained but they are still only on the level of Genin, and even most Genin wouldn't be outdone by these, its their numbers that make them frightful, if all the guards in the area come running then getting out whiles protecting you is going to be a bit difficult"

Wuexin looked nervous all of a sudden, but still stuck closely to Kiko who was leading the way

As they came closer to the village exit the amount of guards began to increase, Kiko had been able to avoid them mostly by sensing their chakra and taking side paths to go round them, but there was only one entrance and exit to the Air Nation, and it was this very exit which had been blocked off by the guards

"What did you do for all these guards to be out for you!?"

Kiko couldn't help but asking as she observed the way and looked for alternatives,

"Nothing! I did Nothing!"

"Ok I get it! Then what do they think you did!"

Sigh~ Wuexin sighed sadly

"The Chiefs son was killed.. I found his body lying in warm blood, it was then that the chief himself and the general of the guard walked in, accompanied by another man who confirmed he had just been killed and both him and the general marked me as the culprit! The man with the general was a guest the general invited and was apparently a Master of medicine, he said that the blade in the corpse was coated in poison and that the same poison was on me! Can you believe it!"

Kiko thought to herself as she still looked around and did her best to avoid being seen.

"Who are you to the chief then for you to be accused?"

Kiko asked

"I am the advisor to the chief, Me and the General are the right and left hands of the chief, recently the chief has been wanting to expand the mountains, purge the vultures and further make our way into the world to secure our footprint, whiles I warned that the only reason this village was here in its current state was due to a past ninja who transformed it and protected it, if we were to move onto the other mountains without the necessary help and preparations then we would fall back into trouble"

"But that wasn't all, the general seems to want to move in on another nearby Village a couple miles out from here and secure their land, and I opposed it"

"I see.. well I'm surprised the chief believed this farce at all"

"It's not entirely his fault! the chief is normally a strong willed and smart individual, but this time, the moment he saw his son in a puddle of blood, he snapped, then by the coercion of the General and the other man I was condemned, I just made it out as quick as I could and hid, I sent a messenger bird to Meng Hao to ask for help, before a couple years ago Meng Hao was the chief Medical leader and attendant of the village chief, until he stepped down and left"

"Ok I get the overall picture, a few missing elements but we won't worry about them right now, we need to get past these guards, I don't want to kill them ideally if I can help it, come lets go this way, we are going to make our way down the side of the mountain and cross to the other side of the bridge from there."

"what? but that is a sheer cliff!"

"You don't need to worry about that right now, I will do the heavy lifting"

Kiko led Wuexin to the side of the mountain, she hid him close by in one of the nearby ledges which was close to the edge of the ravine, but plenty of room to move still, she proceeded to find the smallest gaps in the ravine, she first looked around to make sure no one was around, luckily the structure of the Air Nation was surrounded by earthen walls and large uneven terrain, by getting to the lowest area's she could and jumping down the side of the mountain a little, channelling chakra into her feet she clung to the wall and skid to a stop, making sure to keep her sensory skills locked onto Wuexin in case of an emergency, Kiko performed a few swift hand-seals Tiger → Hare → Boar → Dog she channelled her chakra as she slammed her hands down onto the side of the mountain, changing its nature to one of earth, out erupted from the side of the building a wall of solid earth, which she made large enough to connect one side of the chasm to the other.

(Doton: Doryuheki) - Earth Release: Earth Style Wall Jutsu
Type: Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user will first perform the Tiger → Hare → Boar → Dog and then creates a solid wall of earth as a form of defense. Chakra is either converted to earth within the body and then spat out to form the wall or the user can manipulate pre-existing earth to form the wall. The earth then instantly rises up and takes form. The barrier itself is also coated with chakra, making its strength incomparable to that of a normal mud wall. Because of the earth's special characteristics, the wall is highly resistant against, for instance, fire and water. Hizuren Sarutobi spits mud from his mouth to perform the jutsu whilst Kakashi creates a wall composed of bulldog sculptures to box-in Pain.

Feeling pleased with her work Kiko proceeded back to where Wuexin was located, she could feel that more guards were beginning to head towards the gate, clearly they have been searching but had come to the conclusion he must be either out of the village already or close to..

If only they knew..

Kiko picked up Wuexin carefully and slowly made her way down the side of the mountain, she crossed the self-made bridge and made it to the other side with little effort, little did she know out in the distance a ninja stood watching over the Air Nation and looking in Kiko's direction.. a sly smile spreading across his face

Kiko and Wuexin made their way past the guards and up began their way up the mountain, Kiko was familiar with the terrain so she had no real issues, the only issue here was Wuexin's lack of stamina slowing their progress

"hmm, we aren't moving quick enough, the chakra signatures are beginning to search the mountain, we need to get moving Wuexin, lets go!"

Just as Kiko was about to carry on with Wuexin a sly laughter rang out, the laughter sounded shrill like the wailing of ghosts,

Kiko looked around but couldn't see anyone currently, and even more puzzling couldn't sense anyone nearby, it wasn't until a strange man appeared from behind a nearby tree above that Kiko took notice, she was puzzled but then it clicked.. just like her, he was a sensory type ninja, he had supressed his chakra causing Kiko to miss something critical.

"Wuexin, behind me!"

Kiko stare at the strange man, he was a skinny man, if one wasn't certain he was alive it would be like looking at a walking corpse, his eyes were sunken in, his skin pale, and it was hard to tell if it was a man or a woman from sheer looks alone, it was only by his manner of talking and voice did it reveal his ***, Kiko, observing his movements, he seemed too relaxed to simply be a weakling, it was then that Wuexin caught sight of the person and began to stutter.

"Y-Y..Yo.."

Wuexin struggled to get his words out before the man once again began to cackle,

"My name is Ouyang Shen, little ninja, why must you interfere it will only cost you your life"

Ouyang Shen spoke quite light heartedly, it was only as he said the words 'your life' that his words deepened with a certain intent behind them,

"
You.. I have heard of your name before.. you're not from this village, your clan is known for its cruelty and malicious nature, why are you here"

Ouyang once again switched back to his light hearted tone

"
Hmm, I believe I'm here as a guest, what are you suggesting"

Kiko had enough of the idle chat, she could sense that the guards were getting close and it wouldn't be good to be here for too long, she turned her head to signal for Wuexin to take cover and hide where he could, before turning back to face Ouyang,

Ouyang simply smiled as before Wuexin could move far he let lose a a stream of purple like smoke, the stream itself wasn't too strong but it was enough to kick up the debris around the area, Kiko was no fool however, she could feel the malicious nature in this chakra and knew it was poison.

Ouyang Shen Technique

( Dokuton: Doku Kemuri Kasui ) - Poison Release: Poison Smoke Stream Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 15
Damage: 30
Description: A technique where the user breathes forth a pressurized stream of gaseous poison. The physical force of the poison itself has the potential to knock away small objects and can blow the opponent backward. When it hits against a body it flows through the opponent's pores or lungs if they breathe it in, dealing an additional 5 damage per turn for 3 turns.

Kiko had no choice, she could feel the approach of the guards getting even closer, as the poison stream approached Kiko Prioritised the safety of Wuexin, she immediately gathered her earth chakra, manipulating the earth around the area as the stream of poison approached, she quickly fabricated a dome of solid earth around Wuexin locking him safely inside, however due to this Kiko took the full brunt of the poison stream, it knocked her back slightly as her feet dragged along the floor, stopping a little distance away, she coughed multiple times and clearly looked a bit unwell, it was true Kiko could likely have defended the attack for the both of them, however this was the only sure way to ensure Wuexin's safety for the time being, once the guardsmen made it here it would be much harder to defend Wuexin, this way she could concentrate fully on Ouyang and whatever other pests come along

Kiko Technique
(Doton: Iwa no Hogo) - Earth Release: Earth Shelter Technique
Type: Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user surrounds themselves with earth, taken from the immediate vicinity, in order to fabricate a formation of rock that is capable of protecting both the user and others in close proximity, if desired. Doing so, seemingly leaves the surrounding terrain unaltered, even when the quantity of earth used is enough to form a complete dome around multiple individuals as seen when Ittan used this technique. The user can also manipulate the resulting shelter to have openings in it so as to be able to observe outside, as demonstrated when used by Kitsuchi.

Ouyang was sly, and couldn't help but taunt his enemy,

"Oh aren't we a good little ninja, protecting her client hehehe"

once again grating laughter rang out before it stopped completely, replaced with an uncaring expression,

"You will die this day."

Ouyang Shen quickly clapped his hands, inhaling a lungful of air, upon releasing the built up breath, he released a stream of pressurized yellow fog which hurdled towards Kiko, this fog was clearly different from the first, but the first was bad enough there was no way she was letting this technique hit her

Ouyang Technique

( Dokuton: Shinkei Douin no Jutsu ) - Poison Release: Nerve Agent Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user claps their hands, while inhaling, and releases out a pressurized yellow fog from their mouth which is strong enough to stop projectiles and techniques within reason. This creates a special gaseous poison, which is a nerve agent designed to affect the motor nerves and muscles. This is achieved by altering the user's own saliva and respiratory secretions and giving it the needed qualities. As the gaseous poison touches the pores of an opponent that particular area of the body will begin to experience random and severe muscle spasms. The spams progress and make it rather hard to perform handseals, use projectiles, and taijutsu falters, equating to the inability to use more than 4 handseals on the first turn, 3 on the second turn, and 1 on the third as well as a temporary reduction to taijutsu damage reducing 20 damage. After that, the effect wears off instantly and the target regains control over their musculatory system.

Kiko coughed a little due to the prior technique however channelled her chakra throughout her body all the same, she performed a single hand-seal channelling the wind around creating a barrier of wind, the poison stream slammed into the barrier, dispersing around slightly however the largest quantity of poison was redirected off the barrier at a slightly different angle mind but still back towards Ouyang.

"You would be wise not to mess with me"

Kiko grit her teeth in a bit of anger as she responded and redirected Ouyang's own technique back towards him

Kiko's Technique

( Fūton: Fūhakujun ) - Wind Release: Shield of the Wind Count
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: A self-proclaimed invincible barrier; using hand gestures, the user is able to create a protective barrier of wind capable of repelling any incoming attack they perceive, back on the original user with equal force. Using this, the user is able to repel any B rank ninjutsu back, based on strength and weaknesses of Wind.

Ouyang was a bit shocked at first, but quickly recovered, he performed a couple of hand-seals and released another gaseous poison mist, this poison rotated in from of him and expanded on the battlefield, however not enough to reach Kiko, the rebounded technique from before hit the rotating poison and rather than cancel each other out, the continued motion of the rotation caused the poison from the prior technique to join the current, Ouyang had combined two B rank techniques into a single A rank technique, He looked mockingly at Kiko, sneering at her,

"You should give up!"

Ouyang Technique

( Dokuton: Hei no Doku Jutsu ) - Dokuton: Wall of Poison Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: A technique used when an opponent is rushing towards the user, they will create a rotating veil of gaseous poison mist around them in which the opponent can end up running or moving through. When passing through the poison, the opponent will experience a force that can blow them back off of their feet. If the enemy passes through or into the veil of rotating mist they will be poisoned. The effects are a mild numbness to the target's senses including blurred vision, hissing sounds in the ears, skin numbness, and momentary disorientation, which reduces their reaction speeds by 3 levels for 2 turns.

At this time the guardsmen had arrived, they surrounded the area making it hard for Kiko to respond to all of them, Ouyang was clearly enjoying his moment of superiority, the guards were not overly strong, calling them Genin's was being generous, they could perform limited skills at best, but enough of them was dangerous in its own right.

Kiko was getting wary, she couldn't allow things to stay this unfavourable, she had been holding back a certain amount as she had wanted to avoid using too much chakra and avoid anything that could potential destroy the earth dome she had created, Still she could not longer allow for this to continue, she would need to end this now,

Kiko performed a single hand-seal, a strong breeze appeared underneath her as it lifted her hair into the air, the earth, dirt and and even some of the poison in the area was lifted up along with it as the form of a large dragon appeared beneath Kiko and lifted her up into the air as the dragon formed directly beneath her, the swirling currents within the dragon were like a raging torrent, menacing and dangerous.

Kiko's Technique
(Fuuton: Andāwāru dodoragon no deburi | Wind Release: Underworld Dragons Debris)

"Enough is enough Ouyang!"

The dragon proceeded to breathe inwards, the wall of poison going along with it, absorbed into the dragon, the poison still existing within however after numerous cycles of wind blades the molecules of the poison itself was slowly beginning to disappear and fade

Ouyang grit his teeth, he had no idea that this 'little girl' as he called her could be so strong, he was merely one of the lower level grunts of his family and was by no means a master, it was clear he had underestimated Kiko, he began to try to run away, once again erasing his chakra as he tried to dash into the woods, Kiko was having none of it, once again the dragon took a breath, it dragged Ouyang Shen directly into its mouth going through the torment of the cuts and poison, and various rocks, Kiko having some control over the dragon deliberately slowed down the cuts and currents inside the dragon, she didn't want Ouyang to die just yet, she still had much to ask him..

The guards were shocked by this display of power, however like Wuexin said they were persistent, they came at Kiko brandishing several blades of wind, the dragon avoided half of them, tanked the other half, and using its long tail swept the guardsmen away, impacting them with a bludgeoning force that sent them tumbling down the mountain.

Kiko Let out a sigh

She released the dome of earth releasing Wuexin, his eyes bulged as he looked at the wind dragon in disbelief, and then further disbelief as he noticed Ouyang Shen within the belly of the beast, the dragon lowered its head and Kiko helped him climb up, the dragon proceeded to take off upwards towards the peak of the mountain, before whiles this would have been an easy mode of transport, Kiko had wanted to remain hidden, however with their location already being revealed the least she could do was brandish her power to stop pursuers and make them think twice

The dragon was fast enough to make it to the top of the mountain quickly, bringing both Kiko and Wuexin along, and was even nice enough to bring the scoundrel Ouyang Shen, Kiko released the technique and the dragon dispersed, Ouyang fell out of its belly thoroughly battered and bruised, he no longer looked the same as he did, he was covered in cuts, bumps and bruises and a had a slight purplish tinge to his skin showing he was poisoned.

Having heard the ruckus Meng Hao had already made his way out inspected the scene.
