So it doesn't look like I'm ignoring this...

Since Poison is no longer linked to med (other than letting you submit a custom poison) you'll need a permission pre-kumi system or to purchase the ability. Sorry >__<

Alright, let's start with the basic stuff... Do you know the strengths and weaknesses of Poison; note that poison comes in two forms and has different interactions depending on the form.

Yeah so this is off the top of my head.

Poison comes in a gas and liquid form, each with its own strengths and weaknessess. I think liquid has strengths to water and weakness to earth. I think fire is considered a.... strength? Idk but it turns into gas if it hits fire.

Gas strengths I think are.... I can't remember. Fire perhaps? With weakness to wind because it will blow it away?

I'm gonna go check now and see how close or wrong I was.

So I'll use the wording of the element weaknesses thread... cause I feel it's worded better than I could word it xD I'll add my things in parenthesis if I want to explain something further.

Strong to: In liquid form, Poison is strong to Fire, requiring one rank higher to turn it into it's gaseous form and causes it's effects to speed up if inhaled. In gas form, it is strong to Lightning (Due to the gaseous state being a poor conductor, in a similar manner to how wind is a poor conductor... in our RP).

Weak to: In liquid form, Water and Earth are good counters to contain and dilute the poison. While in gaseous form, Wind is highly effective.

Unless you have other questions that arise from that, we'll jump into some jutsu.

(Dokuton: Doku Kemuri Kasui) - Poison Release: Poison Smoke Stream Technique
Rank: C-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A technique where the user breathes forth a stream of poison. The poison itself wont do any outside damage, but when hitting against a body it flows into the opponents pores or lungs. The smoke itself is a slight paralysis, hindering speed and agility for two turn by 3 ranks.

Any contact with bare skin or inhalation is enough for the target to become affected by this poison. Simply slows down your target(s) by three ranks. However, if an S-jounin (Level 3 speed in the speed chart) or lower comes into contact with this, obviously there speed can't go down to negatives and I'd prefer to think of it that there speed can't be lowered below 1. I'm just using base speed levels for that example, but of course multipliers lift the speed ranking up and this jutsu effects the targets total speed (Rank + Multiplier = Total - 3 lvls from poison = hindered speed level)

Would this affect base speed? Because it's internal?
Additional would you say it looks like normal smoke too?

The speed de-buff would apply to your base speed, before you add on modifiers like Leg Weights or Gates etc. So just the base speed of your rank, lowered three levels.

The default colour for any Poison mist/smoke/vapour, is purple. If any stray from this, it would say in the poisons description or the jutsu description. For instance, Howard has an Orange Poison and I have a Dark Green Poison, so they turn certain jutsu into that colour instead... Only certain Poison Jutsu can utilise your custom poison.

All good with that?

I'm going to do this mostly in character. If I shouldn't reply after four days, just vm me because I've probably forgotten.
If you have any questions about the techniques feel free to ask either in character or OOC

Sado would slowly walk onto the field standing before his student. He hadn't really taught poison ninjutsu before, well he taught his own creations but he had never taught the basics. He had taught Sage Transformation before and he found the best way to learn that was through first-hand experience on the abilities and their nuances. So his methods-... well they were different. Most sensei would explain what the poisons did, and answer questions in a safe and non-threatening environment. Sado wasn't a sensei though so his methods came off a lot more dangerous and direct.
Sado found it more useful to show the person what each poison did. He lifted his right hand upward in a slow arc as he created a veil of poison between the two with his student on the other side of it. Between the two stood a rather static wall of gaseous poison bursting upward in a torrent of purple swirling gas. He didn't seem all that interested in it as it was rather basic. I assume your sensei taught you all the basics including the strengths and weaknesses so I won't give you that rhetoric. Now walk through it, and once you can feel the effects tell me about them and what this would do to your opponent. If you need me to explain it after that I will, but I don't think you'll need it explained once you see what it does. You want to build up an immunity, right? This is how it's done. You're a medical shinobi, if I remember correctly so you can also diagnose and cure yourself for a more in-depth understanding of the effects working on your body and mind. Additionally, tell me when and where you could use this. So go.
Sado didn't seem to give a warning on what the poison would do nor did he explain anything about it. He expected his student to follow his instructions and trust that he wouldn't put them in a situation that would kill them. Partially he just wanted to see how people reacted to the effects of poison ninjutsu on their own but it also was something they would eventually have to do anyway to gain their natural immunity. Better to do it now in a controlled environment than elsewhere.
(Dokuton: Hei no Doku Jutsu) - Dokuton: Wall of Poison Technique
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Defensive
Range:Short
Chakra Cost:20
Damage Points:N/A
Description: A technique used when an opponent is rushing towards the user, bringing forth a veil of poison mist in which the opponent will end up running through. When passing through the poison, the opponent will experience no sensation at all. However, once the enemy passes through it he will be poisoned. The effects are a mild numbness to the targets senses (blurred vision, hissing sound, skin numbness, etc) and momentary disorientation for 2 turns.

Rhaenys was bored. She had come today to learn more about poison ninjutsu, her last sensei almost boring her to sleep. They covered most things inmed school, so there was almost nothing she had to learn still, but she was about to find out there was a lot more to poison ninjutsu than what she thought.
Her new teacher this time seemed as if he was bored, but she didnt blame him, she didnt fancy teaching either, it seemed like a drawl to have to teach basics to people.
With her sensei's command, she nodded drearily and walked through the wall, the poison being absorbed into her body as the wall covered all over her. Coming out the other side coughing and feeling the poison already working its way around her, the body pumping it around as her body reacted. She was an expert medical shinobi already, a prodigy in her field, and with quick distinguished practice, she quickly assessed what kind of poison it was, and where it would affect her.
With a simple healing technique afterwards, she would purge the poison from her system cleaning herself.

This would not exactly stop but a good detterence for incoming taijutsu or close combat shinobi,or even would make a good shield about an incoming A rank jutsu thats weak to poison. I wonder if you could use shape manipulation though to make a ring instead of just a straight line?

It seemed like his student didn't understand why he had her subject herself to the poison in the first place. He wanted her to see the effects for herself and explain them but she didn't take the time to notice the subtle changes or what that could do to an opponent. It was as if as soon as she got through the veil of poison she was trying to get rid herself of it. He saw that she was bored, why was she here then if she wasn't interested in what poison ninjutsu could do or how adaptive it could be?
He watched as she didn't take the time to really understand what was happening to her body, and then listened as she went on about the surface level things that the technique could accomplish. Poison is great for what it can be used for during elemental interactions and such but its true potential is what it does to your opponent. It's almost like genjutsu in that respect he thought, even though he didn't really like or use genjutsu that often. Take a moment and actually focus on the effects the poison had on your body and mind before you so quickly push it away. That's the cornerstone of every poison technique, the symptoms. Your goal is to poison your opponent in whatever way you can, sure it can defend from an elemental technique but if you're thinking of it in that way why not just use Wind Release to deal with Lightning? If you look at them from a surface level like you are right now they do the same thing don't they? But what's special about poison release is that even in its inert form you can subject someone to the symptoms of a poison. That's what poison is about, sure you can use it against elemental techniques as you've learned but that's not what it's made for it's just a perk of its adaptable nature. If you can get that shit into your opponent's body in any form, liquid, gas, or dust depending on the poison and its effects you can cripple or even kill them in moments. Just breathing in wind doesn't have that effect. You can have your opponent pissing their pants in terror at the mere sight of you if you poison them. Or convulsing about unable to control their own body. You can control their senses, their emotions, their body and you can turn it against them, and make them a quaking, spasming mess on the ground. Or you can just see it as Wind Release, Water Release or Earth Release and just have a dead category of ninjutsu to say "I learned that." In the end, it's up to you how you use it I'm just here to teach it to you. Moving onto the technique specifically it's a malleable wall of gaseous poison, so it could easily be a circle around your position or you could change the size of it to fit the range. I know it's not exactly a technique you'll use a lot but each of the basic techniques at least builds you a foundation that you can create your own techniques and abilities from.

Sado would speak with a somewhat direct tone as he eventually trailed off. The way the student shrugged it all off and saw this as nothing more than another class, another element to put under the belt, bothered him slightly. Maybe that was because he saw the untapped potential in the ability and was trying to use it. He continued by forming a single unorthodox hand seal as he slapped his hands together. He was going to prove a point to his student as all around her and himself formed a large massive mist of thick dense orange poison.
The gaseous nature of the poison broke off the chance at seeing one another as even the slightest grasp of poison or the slightest touch to the skin would instigate the effects. This was a bit cheap he thought, compounding the technique with his own poison but it would show his student the potential that even a weak poison technique could have if compounded with a decent poison arsenal and something to make it truly shine.
He could have empowered it further but choose not to as to give her just a small idea of what poison could actually do. He began to speak through the mist as the effects of it would take hold. If his student became poisoned she would feel an intense fear, followed by the sensation of suffocation and finally small auditory and visual hallucinations.

Alright. This technique is based upon the Hidden Mist Technique. As you can see it's a bit more versatile than anything else you've learned yet and has a special effect. It can be compounded with your own poison to a varying degree of success. For example, this is my own poison. This is just a small glimpse at the potential poison has. I could use other techniques to change this technique's state of matter shifting its strengths and weaknesses, I could empower it, I could use it as a source. There is so much you can do with poison ninjutsu to just think of it as purple Wind Release is a waste on both it's potential and your skill as a shinobi. This technique also has the ability to drain chakra from your opponent and deal damage to them over time. It can be held for as long as you sustain it with chakra and you are able to rebuild and refill the area rapidly. Do you see yourself using this technique more often than the others?

Sado would stop feeding the technique causing it to die off as the poison slowly began to fade away. He stood standing in place waiting for a reply from his student. He was hoping that with that small show of what poison could do and what it could be used for he could sway her into actually giving a damn. Sure he knew these were the basics, and the basics could be boring, but the basics showed you what you could do with the abilities at higher levels. It's where most of his own ideas for poison release came from and how he helped friends build up arsenals that could combat Fire, Lightning, Water, and even Wind and Earth at least on par if not strong to each.
(Dokuton: Dokugakure Kiri no Jutsu) -Dokuton: Hidden Poison Mist Technique
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 20 (-5 per turn to keep active, opponent suffers 20*X chakra point loss per turn, being X the number of turns exposed)
Damage Points: N/A (10*X per turn, being X the number of turns exposed)
Description: A technique based off of the Kirigakure no Jutsu. The user will do an unorthodox handseal (slamming both clenched fists together, palms facing down) and releases his chakra throughout the atmosphere. This chakra will copy a poison in the users possession and produce it in the atmosphere through the users chakra and the moisture all around. This creates a plethora of poison mist that very quickly fills up the area. It not only blocks off the view of the opponent, but also surrounds them by a dense poison mist which, if absorbed through the skin or breathed, is then used to drain the opponents chakra and health.
(Batto no kage) - Shadow of the Bat
Creator: Howard
Type: Neurological, Muscular, Respiratory
Ingredients and Background: Fear can have crippling effects on a person, it can leave them frozen unable to move, think or act. It can force them to see things, hear things, feel things that just aren't there. Anxiety, paranoia, and panic can force a person to waver or to simply give up, the poison itself revolves around the ability to weaponize fear in people. Shadow of the Bat is a poison that creates the emotional response of fear for those exposed to it. It forces them to see, smell, hear, feel, and taste their deepest darkest fear in great detail and at times to a crippling extent. A lot like the application of Killing Intent but physically so done through poison not chakra. Most of the ingredients manipulate the brain and the mind through something more tangible than genjutsu more deadly and more real causing it to create and send synapses. Some even force the brain to produce chemicals forcefully and without mental consent from the poisoned individual like dopamine.

Shadow of the Bat is a deep smokey orange poison that comes in two forms an orange liquid and an orange gas surrounded in a smokey black aura-like outline. While in it's liquid form it has two constituencies dense and sticky like tar, or light and watery like water. The first consistency is sticky to the touch and will stick to anything it comes into contact with for long periods of time drying out slowly and hardening. When in contact with the skin it breaks down the lipid bilayer passing right on through and entering the blood stream and then bypassing the blood brain barrier for fast and rapid effects. While in it's gaseous state it has a slightly earthy smell like petrichor due to the herbs found in the poison, when inhaled it has an almost cinnamon-like taste if ingested while liquid it has this same taste but no discernible smell. It's base is Dihydroxyphenylalanine an amino acid that is made and used as part of the normal biology of humans it is the precursor to Dopamine in the brain, Carbogen a mixture of thirty percent Carbon Dioxide and seventy percent oxygen, Corticotropin a peptide hormone and a neurotransmitter, Deadly Nightshade (Atropa Belladonna), Conium (aka Hemlock) both ground into a fine syrup, and Irukandji venom. All ingredients that induce; fear, anxiety, paranoia, panic and straight up terror. Each do this in their own way and have specific effects that end up compounding together to create the over all reaction that the poison causes.

Howard is immune to these effects and the poison itself and due to the oxygen found in it he can breathe it as if it were normal air, and even drink it in it's liquid form if he so desires. It is applied to all of his ninja tools and weapons as well as in a small vial around his neck for poison jutsu usage as well as being sealed in his Medical Summoning Scroll. This poison can also be applied to the fingernails to augment taijutsu usage through fingerjabs and the like and teeth for more animalistic applications akin to the injection abilities of a snake through bites.

Description of Effects:

First the hallucinogens Dihydroxyphenylalanine which also allows the body to produce extra dopamine, Atropa belladonna, and Hemlock. These three together create very vivid and very surreal hallucinations as soon as they become active on the opponent. They induce a mental reaction wherein the brain itself brings out it's most base, deepest, darkest fear bringing it to life through various hallucinations with aspects of visual, auditory, and even smell and taste stimuli. The brain creates these sensations by stimulating the parts of the brain related to these sensations. These hallucinations can easily be mistaken for genjutsu as they have a similar application and even seem to be in a similar vein as it but isn't a genjutsu. The hallucinations will seem real, the opponent will be able to, see, smell, hear and taste the object if the situation arises. They can actively interact with the opponent but aren't tangible in the sense that they have physical substance. This can make distinguishing reality nearly impossible making it difficult to fight. To anyone seeing the poisoned person react to these sensations they would merely seem crazy or delusional. These can range from small changes to what the poisoned individual sees to extreme world altering changes.

Inhalation, Consumption or Injection: The hallucinations begin immediately after inhalation, consumption or injection beginning in the same turn.
Skin contact or a wound: The hallucinations are slightly slower starting one turn after being poisoned in this manner.

Next the fear creators, Carbogen, Irukandji venom, and Corticotropin Corticotropin is a peptide hormone and neurotransmitter involved in the stress response. In such a high dose it creates an intense stress on the body making the body feel as if it were under severe physical and mental stress. Carbogen makes them feel as if they are suffocating unable to breathe which along with the Dihydroxyphenylalanine which becomes dopamine once the poison passes the blood brain barrier, floods the brain with dopamine usually dopamine makes you feel confident and happy but if it seeps into the wrong part of your brain, dopamine will arouse feelings of terror and dread. This is what happens, the brain is overtaken by this forced production of chemicals and the body responds with intense fear, fear that makes thinking harder and slows down the natural thought process. Irukandju venom just straight up creates feelings of dread and impending doom putting the effected person in a state similar to Killing Intent making rational thought impossible halving their reaction speed and making movement harder. When a summoning creature is exposed to the poison be they the wielders own creatures or an opponent's it makes them see their natural predator swarming around them much larger than they are and intimidating them excessively forcing the summoning creature to reverse summon or disperse.

Along with this intense fear the carbogen forces the poisoned being to feel as if they are always suffocating no matter what they do or how they react even mind clearing jutsu can't overcome this. This is an innate reaction that cannot be overcome no matter how hard the opponent tries to focus or look past it this is because when carbogen is inhaled, the increased level of carbon dioxide causes a perception, both psychological and physiological, of suffocation. The brain itself interprets an increase in blood carbon dioxide as a decrease in oxygen level, which would generally be the case under natural circumstances. Inhalation of carbogen causes the body to react as if it were not receiving sufficient oxygen: breathing quickens and deepens, heart rate increases, and cells release alkaline buffering agents to remove carbonic acid from the bloodstream as stated this is an innate bodily reaction something that can't be bypassed with thought, or any form of breathing exercises. The only way to bypass this is either a transfusion or nullifying and curing the poison and it's effects. This can also be done by removing the poison through normal means and nullifying the remainder. Additionally, normal shinobi are able to stop the spread of the poison by removing the afflicted limb/body part before the poison is able to spread, this won't apply if they inhale it nor if the wound isn't superficial on a limb or body part that cannot be removed. Nearly bleeding out and taking a Blood Replenishing Pill can have a similar effect as to a transfusion stopping this symptom but if exposed to the carbogen again the process just begins again.

Inhalation, Consumption or Injection: Fear is created immediately after inhalation, consumption or injection beginning in the same turn. This halves human reaction speeds due to the stress, anxiety, fear and panic that can at times feel crippling. If a summoning creature is exposed to the poison when the effects set in the intense fear forces them to reverse summon or disperse.
Skin contact or a wound: Fear sets in one turn after being poisoned in this manner it then halves human reaction speeds. For summoning creatures as soon as the fear sets in they reverse summon or disperse back to their homeland.

Finally the paralytics the Hemlock and Belladonna force the muscles to tense up becoming partially paralyzed. This eventually forces the muscle to begin to lock up completely which reduces the opponents speed halving it and limiting their reactions and tracking speed significantly. If undefended or not healed and nullified properly the untreated poison causes the person to become completely paralyzed unable to move their body locked in place as their muscles will not respond to the signals being sent to them. This eventually causes death due to the body being unable to inflate the lungs or move the diaphragm and bring oxygen into the body instigating physical suffocation and asphyxiation.

Inhalation, Consumption or Injection: Partial paralysis and muscle numbness begins immediately after inhalation, consumption or injection beginning in the same turn but doesn't cause any outward problems yet merely spreading from the point of contact. On the following turn the opponent's speed is halved as their muscles begin to lock up becoming unresponsive making movement harder and needing forceful action to move. Complete paralysis takes effect after two turns of not being treated (this means two turns after the poisoned person's speed is halved, the turn when speed is halved is counted as the first then there's a another turn where nothing new happens symptom wise) and leaves the opponent unable to move with a running speed of zero unable to perform hand seals, move their mouth, or lungs. This eventually ends in death by asphyxiation after three turns of being unable to breathe the only way to prolong a life past this point is Chakra CPR or nullifying the poison completely.
Skin contact or a wound: Everything is shifted one turn later. Partial paralysis begins the turn following being poisoned. Speed is halved the following turn as muscles begin to lock up becoming unresponsive. Complete paralysis follows two turns after that (this means two turns after the poisoned person's speed is halved, the turn when speed is halved is counted as the first then there's a another turn where nothing new happens symptom wise) reducing running speed to zero, making it impossible to perform hand seals, move their mouth or lungs. Asphyxiation takes place three turns after this the only way to prolong a life past this point is Chakra CPR or nullifying the poison completely.

Note: Samples can only be willingly given by Howard and the carrier risks exposure as only Howard is immune
Note: Can be applied to weapons, ninja tools, and smoke bombs by anyone given a sample
Note: Can be applied to the fingernails, hands, and teeth by someone with an immunity
Note: Since the poison is predominantly hormone and amino acid based it is resistant to heat and liquid once inside the body.

Her teacher seemed to be unimpressed with her response, something that she wasnt exactly used to. Slapping herself in the face lightly she needed to focus up. Despite what she may feel about the subject, she still needed to give it 100% all the time, there was no room for slacking if she wanted to lead the village some day.

As he went on about the subtle effects of poison and the nuances of it, she was beginning to understand what made it so special. It was something that no other element could offer, not just elemental interactions but subtle secondary effects, whether it be something like damage, affecting their systems, making them guess if their in a genjutsu, she was beginning to connect the dots.

Taking mental notes as her teacher began explaining the next technique, she watched as he released the poison much like the hidden mist technique, this time however it becoming different to the poison that was released before. despite it actually being a poison release technique there was something ... off about it. This poison seemed to be a lot thicker than the one that was from before more of a gas, almost like a smoke. Was it a different technique or a different poison? These thoughts raced through her head as she couldnt help but breath it in, almost purposefully her teacher wanted her to experience the technique.

As his voiced echo'd through the poison, it became clear that this was a step up from before as her heart began to race at shapes that seemed to dash through the smoke, somewhat unseen. She coughed as more was inhaled, the shadows becoming somewhat more visible of ninja darting back and forth around her, unable to make out their form but clear enough to see how fast they were. Were they under attack? No she would have noticed it from before, and her sensei seemed calm. Was it an effect of the poison? Affecting her grip on reality? It must be. His voice continued on, she could feel her strength being sapped almost as if the mist was draining it. She was starting to freak out as the shadows began to race faster matching her heart, but as if it were strange, as soon as her sensei stopped talking and the mist began to clear, so did the shadows in the fog.

In shock still from the effect of the poison, She nodded slowly coughing and spluttering barely managing to get a word out before taking a deep breath and calming herself. Clearing her mind and centring her chakra, she spoke softly.

Im beginning to understand more now, thank you for taking time to show me. I can see now how it can be used and what the potential of poison might be.

What do you understand? Teach me what you've learned. How would you use what you've learned in this training session? Sado paused completely giving the student time to heal herself if she needed to and to reflect upon what she had been taught thus far. He hadn't shown her much from the point he had taken over but he wanted to get an idea of her thoughts about what she knew and what she was learning.
She didn't talk much so it was hard to gauge her thoughts and what she was learning. He could tell she wasn't a pushover and he knew in a real battle she'd have a counter for such a simple technique. He wanted a conversation a back and forth so that he could tell that she was actually learning useful abilities. He didn't just want her to agreeing with everything he said filling the dead air with what she thought he wanted to hear. He stood rather motionless waiting on his pupil to give her thoughts on everything,

Poison has the ability to not only interact with elements, but also physically alter a person conscious as well. This goes beyond actually hurting them but mentally assaulting them and their subconscious. While most elements have a single direction of what they can do, Poison itself can be changed depending on how its made. It can potentially have thousands upon thousands of affects on a person from paralysing them to creating fear inside them. Its almost impossible to tell what kind of affect will come from a poison just from looking at it. This gives the user an advantage as the opponent doesnt know how it will affect them.

I think that while Ive never used poison before, I can see its advantages if laced upon other techniques. Infusing a wind technique with poison to make it affect a person even if they only breath in slighty can alter their perception of battle, or physically handicap them.

She was in full analyze mode now. Her sensei asked her an open ended question, and she didnt want to disappoint. It was clear that he was an expert in his field, and she was going to take away some quality information from this teacher, so she had to make the most of it.

Sado seemed genuinely pleased with the answers. At least the student was getting an idea of what could be done with poison. His posture seemed to relax a bit as he thought over how to explain the next one. He opened up by complimenting the student on their grasp of the knowledge and it seemed like she had at least gotten a bit more active and interested in the teachings. His tone was rather hesitant as it was hard to explain the technique without being able to use it. Glad you're actually grasping some of the concepts. Don't be afraid to speak more often, and elaborate on your ideas and thoughts. This next one is called the Black Hand Skill and isn't that great in my opinion but can be used by taijutsu users, specialists or masters to great avail if they're skilled enough with the two melding poison and taijutsu into a seamless, cohesive, entity. Especially if they can outspeed their opponent and land a blow before they can react. Alternatively, it could be used on a subdued opponent to keep them relatively passive unable to use hand seals or mold chakra through their hands. The biggest drawback is that you have to target an open wound so it's rather hard to get it to hit its mark. However, this technique shows you that you can use poison to make portions of the body irresponsive, and remove the ability to mold chakra through portions of the body should you ever want to elaborate on that for your own abilities. The poison itself when it enters into the body will turn the hands black and cause them to become extremely stiff and irresponsive unable to move, or perform jutsu. It paralyzes them almost completely making movement nearly impossible and can be administered continuously. Meaning you could keep an opponent subdued for an extended period of time as long as you're willing to pay the chakra for reapplying the poison every once in a while. Thoughts, concerns, ideas?
Sado would lift his left hand up as he extended his four fingers out in a finger-jab like motion. He would take a moment to create the liquid poison allowing it to congeal on his fingertips as he let a few drops drip downward. This gave his student a chance to inspect the poison, and take a sample of it to study it with their medical ninjutsu training. It would allow them to understand the ingredients of the poison and their effects on the body allowing her to synthesis it herself and use it alongside the technique he explained.
(Dokuton: Kurote no Jutsu) - Poison Release: Black Hand Skill
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A technique where the user can transmit a special poison through an open wound. This jutsu is normally used close range, where the user shoves their hand forward and shove it into an opponents open wound. The opponents hands will turn black and become stiff and unable to perform Jutsu while the technique is active (lasts 2 turns if its not deactivated). The users chakra will infect the enemy with a poison which will instantly paralyze him. The effects can only be reversed by a medical ninja by removing the poison and administering the antidote. However, the technique is useless unless the user can target an open wound.

I can see the issue that this technique faces with only being able to affect those with open wounds. However if used in conjunction with a taijutsu manoeuvre that pierces the skin such as a finger stab, it could be effective right? The poison directly being inserted into a person?
Additionally could this effectively be used into open orifices such as a mouth, nose, eyes, ears etc?

With a tangible amount of poison chakra radiating off of his left hand he would follow through with the finger-jab motion extending his left hand forward toward his student with the aim to puncture into the right shoulder. The blow would mimic the quick and precise motions of a praying mantis as through the use of kinematic chaining Sado would whip his left hand forward in a non-telegraphed strike. It was rather direct with little to no warning and happened just as the student said: "such as a finger stab." Sado never really used this technique but had based other techniques he helped create off of its principles. So earnestly he was just as curious about this idea as his student. He assumed it would work, but since he had not actually tested the technique he'd learn now. Iunno. Let's find out.
If the blow hit its mark puncturing flesh the poison would be applied through the wound created by the piercing and cutting potential from the Mantis Style: Sword Edge technique. If the poison was applied the student's hands would show signs of paralysis as they both began to mimic a state of necrosis turning stiff and darkened. The effects would feel instantaneous if the attack landed. Through the diagnosis skill, the student would be able to gauge their bodies reactions to the poison if they chose to look into it meaning they would be able to learn what was happening because of the poison. Sado would retract his hand just as quickly as he threw it out and over the course of a few moments, roughly ten or so minutes the symptoms of the poison would fade.
( Kamakiri Kata: Yaiba Kiwa ) - Mantis Style: Sword Edge
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 60
Description: By positioning their arms to mimic those of a praying mantis, their arms bent and their hands pointed downwards, the user is able to deliver spear hand strikes with considerable cutting ability by extending their arms fully so that they mimic a sword's edge. By using the springing action of the extension and their body weight to their advantage the user is able to inflict lethal damage.

So, how did your body react? Do you see any use to it, or is it just a cumbersome technique? Feel free to be honest with me, not like I'm grading you on any of this or anything. Honestly, I'll probably be the one graded for this and reprimanded for using a "dangerous teaching method." Anyway, let's move onto the next technique before someone shows up and tells me I "shouldn't be teaching." The next one is unironically named Nerve Agent Technique. It's simple and direct and tells you exactly what it does. I mean c'mon when I yell out the attack names I want to be able to say things like "Get Schwifty!" that kind of stuff confuses the hell out of people. So by clapping your hands to aid in the molding of poison chakra and using the subtle substances in your body, in this case, your own saliva you can produce a yellow fog of poison that mimics the effects of a Nerve Agent, hence the name. These symptoms include gradually increasing muscle spasms that start out as small twitches and stutters making it hard to form handseals, use projectiles, or event at times taijutsu. Over the course of the poisoning, it ramps up until the opponent is left in a seizure-like state unable to control their smooth or skeletal muscles. Then-.... it just stops. Look, I didn't create it. I don't know why it just stops, I'd have made it kill the person but ya'know.

Sado would use both hands to create air quotes when he said "dangerous teaching method" and "shouldn't be teaching." He would continue by going in depth about the next technique how to use it, what it meant and what it could do to the body. After a few moments of talking around when he said "ya'know" he would clap his hands inhaling and then exhaling a yellow fog outward toward his student as he continued to speak.
His tone picked up slightly as he began to explain what this teaches outside of just it's basic usage and what it shows the average poison user about poison. He tried to point out that it shows that you are able to use your body and the subtle substances to produce poison, for this example it was saliva. What this meant is this ability could be extrapolated upon should the student ever want to make her own techniques. So this shows us that we can use just about anything in our bodies to produce a poison.

For example, I use dopamine, a neurotransmitter, in the orange one from earlier.

If the student left the poison take effect upon her she would begin to shake and stutter as Sado continued explaining an innate property of the poison. It seemed like this would be the method over and over for any poison produced. He'd explain it, use it and cause the student to learn from experience. He paused for a while and waited for the poison to run its course before looking toward his student for a reply.
(Dokuton: Shinkei Douin no Jutsu) - Poison Release: Nerve Agent Technique
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user performs the needed handseal (Clap hands), while inhaling, and releases out a yellow fog from mouth. The special poison is a nerve agent designed to affect the motor nerves and muscles which is achieved by altering the users own saliva and respiratory secretions and giving it the needed qualities. As the poison touches the pores of an opponent that particular area of the body will begin to experience random and severe muscle spasms. The spams progress and make it rather hard to perform handseals, using projectiles, taijutsu, etc. The symptons increase for 3 turns, at the end of which the target will be almost in a seizure-like state. After that, the effect wears off instantly and the target regains control over their musculatory system.

@Zatanna

Edit/Note/OOC: Just a note/heads up, I think you might be underestimating the effects and symptoms of poison a bit and want to clear up something, for when you start using it or if you poison someone. For example, earlier you just pushed off my poison Shadow of the Bat with no effort, no technique, etc as the Hidden Poison Mist dispersed. That might have been because we're just training and I let it go on the basis of training and all but in a battle to do that you would have had to actually use something to remove the poison from your body or scrub your body of it, for example, the Poison Extraction Jutsu, Water Mosquitos, Poison Resistance or something else that could push away the effects and stop them from spreading as well as remove the poison from your body. The effects would have remained and would grow continuously even after the Hidden Poison Mist technique was dropped or countered meaning eventually if you didn't stop it, it would kill/drop your bio to zero health after seven turns in a battle or NW. This is true for custom poisons, Med Toxin, or any other variation of poison that doesn't specify that it stops like the techniques I've taught you so far and that end in death or have lasting effects.

Her teacher was a practical one, she would give him that. She he thrust his hand forward, fingers digging under her skin she winced at the immediate pain with shock and took a breath as the poison started to sink in and work its way around her muscles and tissue.

It definitely seems like a close combat quarters technique, im not sure how it may be used from far away outside of a short toe to toe range. Im guessing that direct contact with muscles will affect them quicker than say an open wound and allowing it to spread there instead. At least thats what Im picking up from your demonstration just then.

With a quick concentration of chakra to her hand, she would place it over the wound and heal it up as the antibodies inside her would quickly go about removing the poison from her system.

Watching with effect as her sensei demonstrated the next technique, she would brace herself once again to undergo the effects of the poison he was about to use. It was getting tiresome for her, this repeated pain and excruciating detail of remembering how each technique affected opponents, but she reminded herself that it was all for her benefit to learn what each poison technique does.
As the poison mist enveloped her, she could feel her skin tightening as the poison seeped into her body through her pores. Each muscle felt like it wasnt under her own control, the twitching and shuffling unaccompanied by her orders. Almost as if a puppet, she couldnt only watch as her body moved like twitches helplessly. After wearing off, she continued with her lesson.

So this is useful for restricting an opponents movements, effectively as it can prevent them from making handseals, complex tai movements, the whole deal with actually needing control over your body. While being able to produce poison from all over your body is a great feat, I wonder how many of them require you to only produce it from the mouth. I guess there is advantages to both, either through a fist, leg, body what ever compared to say the mouth. Being able to produce it from the mouth allowing your hands to be free to block, dodge or move etc, but downside compared to that, I guess its pretty obvious when it comes from ones mouth, as well as the whole risk of opening your mouth compared to punching a fist forward you know?
