Nagato used Madara's eyes easily. Not only he's a "fake" Senju (for being Uzumaki), but he wasn't even Asura's reincarnate.

If Hashirama had taken Madara's EMS, then he would have unlocked Rinnegan and would have become even more OP than Madara....

It's not that simple. Madara merged with Hashirama's DNA, making it as if he was born with Hashirama's powers. If Hashirama took Madara's eyes, it wouldn't be the same. He wouldn't get the Rinnegan and he'd permanently be stuck with the EMS without being able to deactivate it. Furthermore, since it's not his and he has no connection to it, Susano'o would be impossible.

I believe, and this is just my opinion from what I've gathered, that the eyes themselves can retain some of that brain chakra, Like how Kakashi was able to use Obito's sharingan, but not turn it off or on. He couldn't change the state of the eye (beside using mangekyou but I consider that to fall in a different category) but could use the abilities well enough.

I think fatigue and natural instinct could be issues, but those can be overcome.

I think that the asura reincarnate in question would basically be in the same boat as Kakashi, where they can use the eyes effectively and destructively, but they will be subject to drawbacks that Indra users would not be subject to.

Yes, we basically saw the other version with Toneri... It'd probably go way faster too...Lol, rather than waiting until he is an old man...Hashirama would probably develop Rinnegan in a day or two=D... (we need that reverse world again...switch up Madara and Hashirama's roles:heh

and there is some evidence that the body might just use eye powers to a higher lv too. Boosting physical energy allows one to handle sharingan easier and even use a once in a decade ability once a day.

How do? Eyes contain DNA as well. And he is putting them in his own Sockets. Or are you are under the hypothesis, that it has to be ingested in order to mix the DNA? I mean Nagato, Kakashi, AO, and Danzo seem to be able to use other people’s eyes and they aren’t even Ashura/Indra Transmigrants.
