Private corporations decided to sever business ties with people whose content violated their terms? Good.
What ''terms'' did he break again?
No, I don't think he should have been banned.
But guess what? That's capitalism and I recall that's what Alex Jones has been preaching for a long time. If silencing the right is profitable for private business, well guess what? That's still not a free speech issue. Tough titty. Alex Jones doesn't believe in free speech and now he's reaped what he has sown.
Hate speech and inciting violence. I mean there have been multiple cases already where his listeners attacked or harassed people because of his propaganda. The Pizzagate shooting and the Sandy Hook families receiving death threats from his fans are examples of that.

It's not as if anyone that listens to TYT, BBC, CNN, NYT and so on and so on has ever gone out of their way to shoot up people and shit thanks to the garbage they get shoved down their throats, right? But let's blame Alex Jones for what some jackass decided to do. If you're going to apply this ridiculous logic, you might as well apply it to everyone. Cause the double standards are blatant.
Should have they gotten banned from every social media or was it a obvious plan to silence the righteous republican party?

Wait, that abomination finally received some punishment? Faith in humanity went up by +1! It's still in the negatives though, but whatever, take what you can.
Never understood how it was possible he was allowed to do and say what he did for so long.
And "righteous" republican party, lol?
In principle, no. I don't support deplatforming. I could also make a pragmatic argument where in which the consequences of Alex Jones' ban causes more harm than good for those who are inconsistent relativist.
For one, the biggest byproduct to come out of A.J.s mass ban was his spike in followers and viewership, granting him presence and notoriety to people who've never heard of him. The coordinated and simultaneous multi-platform ban also grants credence to his conspiracy theories, one of which is that the ones who he claims are "at the top" are "deliberately trying to silence the truth". If not his conspiracy theories, conservatives who politically align with him will make him out as a Martyr.
IMO, the biggest negative to come out of this is Alex Jones going underground. At least when he was a public figure, everyone was able to keep an eye on him; the media would report on his absurd conspiracies, and those from the opposing political would criticize him, keeping him in check. Once he fades out of the public spotlight, him, his supporters, and his ideas can and will go unchecked -- allowing his conspiracies to spread like a dormant disease, writhing and fortifying throughout
the body until he resurfaces.
I personally don't think the grounds on which he was banned were justified, but that's irrelevant in the grander scheme of things.

Alex jones hasn't went underground or has been silenced, his app has sky rocketed in the top 5 charts since the ban and has remained there since then. You cannot silence the silent majority, were the true patriots who'll fight for freedom while you lefties drink your coffee from starbucks in the morning and complain why you don't have enough creamer and blame it on white supremacy. His ban wasn't justified at all, it was a clear attack on the political views before the election, silencing the massive red wave that has grew in displayable value so the small blue sparks can show at least for a little bit. Hate speech? This is america, youtube, google, and apple are american companies, although apple now works for china. This isn't england where they'll kill you in the streets if you approach too close to a military guard, this is the home of the free with a constitution that clearly states upon the first amendment of free speech that anyone is allowed to express political view points or the other as much as possible. Its a clear attack on the american values, its been said before, the liberalism is coming already in the form of socialism and here we are, banning people because of their beliefs. Whats next? Someone says something bad about radical Islam and they get hung in the streets?
Lmfao
In the same video he's mentioning the death threats that they make but let's ignore that. He said they should be arrested, how dare he.
Never said anything about him going underground and whatnot. I still don't even know what kind of punishment he received. I merely expressed my delight in that he finally seems to receive some form of punishment considering he has been making a living for years by being a chronic liar without any repercussions.
Freedom of speech doesn't mean and never meant you automatically can say whatever you want indefinitely and without repercussions.
And you do realize the value of your entire monologue here about America is absolute zero? It has no meaning, it's completely hollow, it's void of any substance. Like a wannabe magic spell you just cast some words and terms and concepts you know will have an effect on people and then you just repeat them till they buy it. "lefties", "radical islam", "home of the free", "silent majority", "true patriots", "white supremacy", "first amendment", "free speech", "American values" etc. There's no cohesion whatsoever.
The only ones who buy this nonsense rhetoric are people who are incredibly naive, susceptible and thus very prone to being brainwashed.
Do you know what the biggest irony of this all is? If anything he said was actually true, he would have never been able to say it in the first place. You should have tried living in East-Germany during the Cold War. Now they were brutally efficient in putting people with big mouths down.
