The only way it makes sense(cause bee kinda does confirm the perfect jinc theory) is if obito genjutsud yagura prior to him being a perfect jinc? Obito did have him under control for quite some time it seemed. It’s also possible(although highly unlikely as the kyuubi is the only one shown to be susceptible to Sharingan genjutsu so far) that obito had them both under genjutsu. I dunno, I’d rather think one of those two rather than “shit we forgot”. It’s also possible b and gyuuki’s relationship was special(it kinda was if you think about it) and the way they bonded allowed gyuuki to break him out? I dunno, just a few thoughts
Think about it like this, a small portion of Hashirama’s cells made Danzo’s Izanagi last far longer than it normally would for a non-Uchiha. Now Obito possesses Uchiha Kekkei genkai, the Mangekyou sharingan and Hashirama’s cells attached to half of his body. He was practically the Sage of Six Paths at this point (with limits of course). But Zetsu explains it the best:

If Yagura really was a “perfect jin” then it makes sense as to why he was able to fall victim to Obito’s sharingan.

Sasuke is indeed one of the more celebrated characters in the Manga. He's hax, his abilities and the method he prefers to take, in direct hand to hand and Ninjutsu combat. Consider the sea of explorable possibilities he have been roving on, then add that well of potential with a mixture of supernatural Genjutsu, the one showcased on the Bijū and you got yourself a living monster baring his claws on the mirages of any kind of potential enemy he'll face & go up against.
