Shinramoto

Shinramoto was previously known for its various seaports that served as harbors for the import and export of a broad variety of goods throughout the coastal areas in the Land of Fire. True to its relevant history, the occupation of Solanaceae has only bolstered its ports with their own architecture, serving as a now reinforced maritime reigon that runs the full length of its coastal edge in shored up walls that extend 20 meters toward the water to protect the inland from intrusion from the water through the ports.

This post marks the beginning of my mission and narrative using these storyboard elements:
-Explore a dangerous site (3)
-Guard someone very important (5)
-Custom: Steal a large or valuable asset(4)

Summary: This Mission will be about Guarding a character important to the Bio and their history as they go to the now Dangerous site of what remains of Chungsu - the ruins crawling with looters and crumbling buildings. Their Goal is to go to Chungsu's Western Harbour to make the use of one of their legendary Fishing Ships for Shinramoto's own use.

RP Begins Here.

Lena :

Zeri was frustrated with the tacky and average craftsmanship of what he was forced to work with, it has been a vice in his side for ages and he had managed to work with it for a while - he was due an upgrade of his fishing ship years ago, but Chungsu fell and they can no longer provide. Ever since then, he's had to replace sails with whatever he could find, use his own money to buy off other nearby fishing villages of Shinramoto, and even then the quality was not up to par. He did however love his Fishing Ship, he just knew it wasn't cut out to rack in the profit they needed to keep them going ever since the fall of the great capital. He talked sense but no one had guts like himself, it's why he was so respected amongst the area. Nowadays he had a strong ally however, but he did not want to ask too much of her; Lena had done so much for the area. However with the recent breaking of his Ship's sails due to the strong winds; he knew he had to mention his idea to go to Chungsu to "re-appropriate" (as he liked to call it) a higher quality ship from their western harbour.

He returned home from the dock, Lena was with him carrying a couple of large Pike as part of their cut for Food. As Zeri walks through the door he's greeted by his beautiful wife and loving daughter, Lena takes one Pike to the kitchen and the other is stored for later consumption. She starts preparing the Fish, doing her part in the Kitchen as Zeri talked with Juliana about his concerns.

"I have to ask her to help me." Zeri whispered.

"I should go darling, I used to be a soldier there - i might still have friends that are helping the city even now." Juliana was concerned, but she knew there was no way Zeri would stay at home, he knew this was his mission.

"I can't let you do that, Alicia needs her mother and that was years ago - I heard rumours someone has taken control, some self proclaimed leader and his mob of bandits."

"I'll go." Lena's monotone voice whisked into the conversation from the doorway of the Kitchen, she was leaning against the door frame washing her hands with a towel. Zeri and Juliana looked at her, both surprised by her sudden interjection - their expressions became more settled and Zeri grinned at her. They all ate at the dinner table and then the two prepared and packed for their mission, taking rations and some gear. Lena led the way, turning back as Zeri hugged his child and gave his wife a farewell kiss - they both left as they were waved off.

"Thanks for this." Zeri exclaimed as they walked through the grasslands that linked up the fishing villages and seaport towns, he glanced up at her before looking back down at the ground so that he could see what he had to step over. Lena nodded and let a small smile generate from her face before speaking.

"I owe you a lot, this is just a small favour."

This prompted Zeri to let out air from his nose paired with a grin, 'small' he thought and they continued until they reached a main road. Lena checked it first, made sure it was clear and then gestured for Zeri to come along. There was no one on the road right now, no one that would cause a problem anyway and she knew this with her Guardian and Companion constantly circling the skies above - high enough to be mistaken for a normal sized bird. This was the easy part of their path, getting the City - they knew that walking through it however was going to be the tough part. They passed a couple of passing travellers going deeper into the Tea Peninsula with carts of goods, they seemed like they had an easy journey ahead nonchalantly riding on the road. Though who knew what the true business was? Maybe they assumed the same of them.

Before setting foot into the land of Chungsu, the two would stop by the closest fishing village nearest to the border and take a break. They both regained their strength - well Zeri had to, Lena could continue with her physique. They went over a game plan, find the easiest route in, find the nearest collapsed wall and work from there. Stay away from any buildings that looked too dangerous to take cover in and try to make social interactions as minimal as possible - didn't want the wrong people to know about their business. When the sun was setting, they set off.

(Kuchiyose : Utahime, Sora Doroppā) - Summoning : Songbird, The Sky Dropper
Type: Summon
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: N/A (80 if used as an Attack)
Description:
Songbird is a Large Community of Barnacles formed together to take the look of a Mechanical looking Bird, easily dwarfing a person as he can pick them up with just one of his two talons. The bird barnacle community is tough and sturdy and like most has large wings capable of flight, with a massive wingspan of 15 meters . When summoned by either the normal summoning jutsu or by swiping blood on the tattoo and performing a hand seal Songbird will be summoned mid flight soaring high in the sky as it appears from a cloud of smoke. Songbird has been said to be able to fly through anything, what this has been adapted from is the fact that Songbird can swim through normal water like it flies through the air (being made of Barnacles, a water based creature).

Songbird is sensitive to sounds, this can trigger a reaction which would be a threat to the opponent. The User can trigger the reaction by whistling a certain tune only contract signers know and which songbird can hear - this is not in any way a sound jutsu and other barnacle communities, kozui and mecha can whistle this tune if they are on the field also (Triggering it this way costs a Move out of three). However the opponent can also trigger it by using a Sound Release jutsu, a Lightning Technique or a Genjutsu that needs sound as a medium. What comes next is the Songbird's attack, a Divebomb of sorts which has the bird shoot down at great speed, increasing it's weight and solidity through Earth Release to make it drop faster - hitting speeds twice that of base Kage-rank bios. The Bird will not simply swoop the opponent up however, they will full on hit the earth with all it's strength (S-Rank) and this is where the Songbird's second ability comes in. When hitting the Earth Songbird burrows through it like an advanced version of "hiding like a mole technique" not losing it's speed as it drags the opponent through the ground, crushing and bashing them against the rocks. IF the opponent by chance dodges the technique, songbird will pop up later from underneath carrying the opponent into the air and in it's beak and throws the opponent to the ground.

Finally, Songbird flies around the Sky automatically when not attacking, defending against anything that comes from it - solidifying it's body to become that of an S-Rank Earth Defence (at the expense of a move). It flies above the user defending them easily. User can command the bird not to defend if it suits. Like all Barnacles Songbird has a strong calcite shell worth B-rank neutral t the elements except lightning which is strong against it and water which is weak.

- Can only be summoned Once per battle.
- Lasts Four turns on the Field.

From Ruins of Chungsu :

The Sea seemed pretty fine, even if it was raining, it wasn't too stormy. Lena made her way up to the Top Deck where Zeri manned the wheel of the ship and concentrated on driving the new ship. Lena looks over the edge and then turns to face him, leaning against the barriers around the ship, crossing her arms she let out a sigh of relief.

"If I knew Chungsu had a mob of bandits running around, I would've come alone."

"Haha, who would have drove the ship Lena? You still needed me..." Zeri's smile then dropped as he looked at his friend, "I'm sorry I was a burden, it felt a bit annoying being useless."

"As you can see, you're not useless. We all... have our specialities. I'm just a bit of a monster."

"Don't go saying that Lena, you're one of the best people I've ever had the pleasure of working with." Zeri was stern, his words weren't just an opinion to him, they were fact. He had experienced her company and owed her plenty, even if she didn't think so she had saved his Family and their Village multiple times - this is another example of this fact. Lena responded with a polite smile and shrug, nothing was said however.

Lena's eyes felt dreary, then she suddenly fell to her knees and collapsed to the wooden floor with a thud, Zeri heard it and shouted for her. She then felt it, a sharp pain in her back before losing consciousness. For a while there was nothing, just darkness as she regained consciousness, her eyes slowly opened seeing the Wooden floor of the boat she lay on. She gained the strength to pull her arms in and place her hands on the surface, pushing herself up off the ground onto her knees. Lena took a moment to look around with her blurry but recovering Vision, she then heard it, familiar voice shouting in pain. She blinked a few times. Then she saw it happening, Zeri was pinned to the ground by a man in a familiar attire to the ones that attacked them. The bandit kept him down, sword out and carving cuts into her friend, she felt enraged. Lena stood up and quickly walked over to the man who was too busy to see her coming. With her right hand she clutched the back of his head and tore him from Zeri, he yelped a little from the pain applied to his hair - she pulls his head up and pulls it back so she can look at his pathetic face. With her left hand she jabs it into his stomach and places a fire glyph on it. She then pushes the man away, who frantically looks at the burning glyph etched to his stomach - but to no avail as it explodes which propels him off the side of the ship high into the air. Lena finishes by throwing a barrage of 3 red cards that strike the Bandit midair, these cards explode - reducing the bandit to nothing out in the open, all that falls into the sea are smoulders and bits.

(Shōkeimoji-Katon : Neko no Ketsui) - Heiroglyphic-Fire Release : Cat's Determination
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Rank: B - S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20 - 40
Damage Points: 40 - 80
Description:
The user creates a Circular Red Glyph using their Fire Chakra on the battlefield; the pattern of the glyph is custom as long as it is circular and has the Kanji for "Kokoro 心" inside it. When created it flashes into view almost like an explosion except this is cosmetic. The Glyph can be created horizontally and vertically on the field and then manipulated to move in a certain direction, it can also be created parallel to the user's palm and thrown like a shuriken acting like a very compressed fire techniques, thin and hot which will cut through matter like a hot knife through butter.

Glyphs can be created in front of a Wind Technique and combined with it, creating the infamous fire and wind combos; For example if combined with the Wind Glyph Cat's Dance it can be thrown through the Fire glyph creating a flaming wind glyph. Though this can be combined with other elements; a glyph can be placed on an earth technique and it can create a flaming golem with almost a molten like skin for example (Can be placed on tools to make them extremely hot and burn/cut through things more easily, the glyph is burned into the metal).

Glyphs can be burned onto a surface leaving an ash residue, on the command of the user it will explode and can be used to propel things along or send something flying; the explosion is controlled; For example if planted on the side of some earth or an earth technique it can suddenly speed it up and be shot in a different direction - can be planted on the soles of ones shoes (Fire wouldn't burn through) the ash residue would explode and send the user flying. Basically creating a redirection for solid creations. Trip mines can be created, when the ash is come into close contact it will ignite and explode in a fiery malestrom depending on the size of the glyph + 2 meters.

- S-Rank can only be used Twice with a three turn cooldown and no Fire Techniques of A-rank or higher in the same turn.
- A-Rank version can only be used four times with a two turn cooldown
- Only One Glyph can be created with one use of this
- Glyphs created last four turns on the field
- Must be Taught by LonelyAssassin
-The glyph can only be created/materialized within short-range of the user unless it's made from the ground

She was furious, she checked on Zeri for a split second who had managed to sit himself up, though he was covered in cuts. She turned towards the Deck below as she stood above on the Aft. Two more of them below seemed to be trying to adjust the sails of the boat to get it to Turn around, though there attention was turned towards the Explosion, turned towards her. One drew their sword and began to approach the stairs up to where they were, Lena quickly moved and slid down the wooden railing down towards him before he even got to the bottom step. As she approached the bottom and end of the wooden rail the man approaching swung his sword for her feet, she just jumped over the strike and opened up her attack, coming down on him, landing and sitting around his shoulders, he was now blinded by her entire body, legs wrapped tight around his neck. Both went down, but as they did Lena made one swift jerk to the left with her waist and snapped his neck. She landed, both feet planted on the ground as she released his limp corpse. The threaded woman strode over to the last one who had already readied his blade.

The Bandit made an attack, swinging from right to left. It was simple for Lena, predictable - disappointing. She was more disappointed, that they managed to get the drop on her, putting her to sleep with some kind of arrow - she felt it in her back but had ignored it from the adrenaline and anger. She ducked under the strike, coming back up quickly and striking the Bandit's elbow with her left fist, producing sharp calcite shell from between her knuckles that stabbed into the Bandit's arm forcing him to drop his blade. Lena catches it with her right hand and impales the blade quickly into the Bandit's left shoulder - pinning him to the Mast. Lena's right hand gripped around his throat, he was quivering, she just tightened her grip and stared at him. It was then an arrow passed between them, an arrow with feather's tied around it's shaft. She felt drousy just from it passing her, it was a poor miss however. Lena looked in the direction it came from - the starboard side of their ship was another, must've followed them and on that other ship an archer looking slightly annoyed. Lena's hand clenched tighter around the neck she had in her grip, and she whistle a tune.

Like a striking thunderbolt, a devastating meteor, the Songbird came crashing down on the opposing Boat - pummelling straight through the ship like it was nothing. Wood splintered, crashed and shattered. You could hear various screams of anguish erupt from the boat as well as the sound of destruction. Songbird had dive bombed into the opposing ship and swam straight through the water. The bird appeared on the opposite side of Fishing ship, flying into the air - it drops a Bandit from it's beak that lands with a crash on the Deck next to Lena. She lets go of her now dead bandit, forgetting she was crushing his throat before. She walks over to the one that had been dragged through the Sea and stood on his head. IT was the Archer that used the arrows that but her to sleep.

"Those arrows of yours, should o' stuck a few more in me." She applied pressure to his throat with her foot, hearing him scream. Then suddenly the sound of a Thud behind her, she stopped and turned around watching another Bandit that seemed to come from the Captain's cabin slump to the ground, Zeri with his fist stuck out - had punched him before he could sneak up on her and stab Lena. She snapped out of her mindless rage and looked at Zeri with widened eyes,

"I got your back."

That was her line and he knew it, but he just flashed a grin at her. She looked down at the two bandits, picking them both up by the scruff of their necks and drags them to the edge of the both, throwing both of them over. Those two were alive, she didn't care if they'd drown or live. She watched them float towards the wreckage of the boat that was left behind by Songbird. The rest of the Corpses Zeri and Lena through overboard and cleaned up the ship of blood and anything else, though before all that Zeri was patched up - he had no serious wounds, just cuts that were carved over him. Adding to his scars. They cut rips bonded to the wreckage and continued deeper into Shinramoto - towards their Fishing Village. They found port and were welcome back with an applause from Zeri's crew. The sound was out here and he went out to meet them. Lena followed but ignored the social interaction, going straight passed, but managing a smile for their successful acquisition of the Fishing Ship. She wondered what Zeri would name it and what he'd do with his old battered one. She also dreaded getting him home, Juliana was gonna scold them both for getting hurt. It made her ponder, would she be able to protect this family forever?

End of Mission.

This post marks the beginning of my mission and narrative using these storyboard elements:
- Help a friend (2)
- Capture an Important Target (4)

Summary: After the successful acquisition of the Ship from Chungsu, Zeri has decided to take on more strenuous tasks that would yield more profit for their Village. Asking the help of a friend to capture an important Target in the Hanguri Gulf. A Legendary Rainbow Pikefoot has said to have been spotted, taking cover in the waters surrounded by land - there is plenty of life for this fish to live off around here. Each individual Scale is worth a pretty penny and it's meat is a delicacy amongst the rich.

RP Begins Here.

He always managed to think up new tasks after completing the previous, especially big ones, it's how he kept going. Now with his new Ship working charms, achieving more Yield and sailing smoothly. He now had the opportunity to do more with it, with rumours of the Rainbow Pikefoot being spotted by not just fisherman at this Village, but others in Shinramoto as well. Zeri was going to be the one to do it.

And Lena knew it. She recognised this man as a man that got things done, a natural leader even if he doesn't want that title, he is probably most qualified here in this small village of Shinramoto. She seemed to be the one to overlook that path, it was really by accident, a certain amount of events happened for her to end up in this position and him to end up in his. She felt like it had become a duty of hers to allow him to grow into this position of leadership, a fate of sorts; this new task he had in mind would cement his reputation into this land. Lena's boots hit the wooden planks that made up the pier she walked upon, towards the familiar ship she had helped steal. It looks like Zeri had got the Ship's new name branded onto the side of the ship already, she knew he'd find a name for it - "Gauntlet" was a suitable name for it, considering the circumstances.

Gauntlet stood out among the pier, it's wood was bright compared to the rest of the pier and it's ships. There was a pristine look about it that came naturally to it's basically perfect craftsmanship. Since it had been here though, it had actually been looked after since it was really abandoned before. The boat was now all Zeri'd up, the Captains Cabin and below decks were filled with all the trinkets and items from their old boat, making it feel more familiar to the Crew. Zeri walked up to Lena and grinned up at her.

"Lazslo has just come back from his rounds and swear he saw the famous shimmer in the Ocean, it's close to Shinramoto and I can feel it - I told you I had a feeling this morning Lena."

"Okay Old Wifey Zeri."

"Hey this is not just some kind of Folk's Tale. That's your vocation." Zeri managed a gruff laugh as he turned to walk back up onto the Ship, his crew were working hard and preparing to set sail - they rolled barrels up onto Deck and readied the nets. Lena followed behind Zeri and continued to as they approached the Captain's Cabin, it looked very similar to the one on the old ship, like every Captain over a crew of Fisherman he had a lot of Trophies. Zeri placed both of his palms on either side of a Map of the Hanguri Gulf, there were markings on it that wouldn't be found on most maps of the Land of Fire's Gulf. He pointed to a specific spot and grinned,

"There."

Lena nodded, she was pretty oblivious to how he knew so quickly, but he had years of experience at Sea so trusted him. She nodded and looked up at him. "If anyone can do it, it's you."

"Well, I wouldn't be me without my trusty Crew. Don't tell 'em I said somethin as soft shit as that."

Lena just let out a smile. She left Zeri to it, to plan this - it wouldn't be long before he was out manning the Wheel himself. The threaded woman went to the front of the ship, patting one of the crew members on the back - he turned and nodded to her, hurrying away as he went to do something else. Lena started to crank up the Anchor.

"SETTING SAIL! ALL ABOARD!!!"

The plank of wood that bridged the Ship with the Pier was pulled onto the Deck and the ship's sails whipped into activity as they were set loose. The mast creaked and the Ship moved from land and further into the water, slowly picking up speed. Lena begins to climb the Mast, she hears a familiar shout as she looks towards the Wheel which had Zeri taking it into his hands, shouting commands. Lena finished climbing the mast and took position in the Crow's Nest with another of the Crew members, the youngest and newest - Hawkeye, a blonde woman wearing a dark purple Bandanna. She had an air of toughness about her, obviously to Lena though she was trying to fit in with the crowd of Crew members below. The new crew member looked up at Lena with a glint in her eyes, her mouth opened for a moment before coming to her senses and stuttering over her words like some kind of nervous fan.

"M-Miss L-Lena! All clear from here!"

All Lena did was Nod at the girl, making her blush - Hawkeye tried to hide the acknowledgement under a fake cool demeanour.

Coming from :

The Gauntlet slowly pulled up to the Pier, it was swiftly anchored and naturally parked, Crew members bridged the gap between land and sea and a group of them immediately started to unload the yield of the day. The Barrels were rolled off the Ship, this time they were sealed shut rather than open and hollow, they were then propped up on the Pier in a line - there was a nice line of barrels full of fish, not as much as usual as this was not the prize of Today's catch. It was heard around the village by now that the Rainbow Pikefoot had been spotted near our shores. To no surprise to the Crew of the Gauntlet, they had mustered a bit of a crowd when they returned which left the sailors smiling as children and other fishermen tried to peak at what they were unloading.

Lena helped by another few Crew members and led by Zeri started walking off the Ship with their big prize in hands, the crowd could see it, unmistakable from it's glittering scales they cheered and were left in awe at such a sight. Even though the Fish was dead it's artistic body was full of life even now. Lena had noticed when on it that the Pikefoot's scales reacted to energy of sorts, chakra for example. Lazslo from the previous expedition and a couple of his crew members came over to help Zeri carry the catch; he also wanted to chat with the fellow Captain.

"Of course you were the one to catch this. Never had any doubt."

"We can fetch a pretty penny for this, this village will be the better for it."

"You're starting to create more than a Village here Zeri, if we keep it up we might be able to expand our cause, create shelters and help those who need it. Be the new Chungsu."

Zeri laughed at the ridiculous prospect, but hopeful one. "Chungu got to big, but we can definitely prosper and learn from it."

"Do you have a buyer lined up already?"

"Yes, but we'll prop this thing up on display until I finalise the deal, got to sit in the moment I say"

The Crew around him gave a little cheer, which prompted some of the children to copy. Zeri managed to spot a familiar couple of faces approaching the pier-side drama. He let go of the Fish, it was sturdy enough being held by the group it was being held by as he ran over to his Wife and Daughter. Alicia, the little sunshine of his life ran over to him loudly proclaiming that "Papa had done it!", giving him a big hug when the two met. Zeri knelt down as he placed Alicia back onto ground after their big hug, he holds out his hand to reveal one of the beautiful glittering scales that the Rainbow Pikefoot was known for.

"This is yours now, keep it safe. It's going to be our Little foundation, when we make what I plan in my head into a reality, this little trinket will be at the heart of it - YOU my dear Alicia will be at the heart of it." Zeri takes Alicia's little hand into his and then places the Scale in it, she could barely close her hand around it in one hand, it was cute. "I'll fix up something so that you can wear it around your neck." Alicia nodded in response to her Dad.

The day had passed, there was a little bit of a celebration around the Village. Lena didn't really get involved with drinking too much, she was sitting on the roof of the main hall, she could hear the shanty's being sung muffled by the material that separated her from them. She looked out to see for a moment. It was Dark, but the moonlight shone against the water. She heard some rustling of the Hay on the roof, and another figure sat beside her - the blonde bandanna'd woman from the Crow's nest. The newest crew member of the Gauntlet. Hawkeye.

"You saved this mission."

Hawkeye blushed again, she was a lot looser about it since she wasn't on the Ship no more she didn't really have a problem with Lena knowing her true self. The girl looked up at Lena thankfully, "I want you to be my mentor, i want to be stronger. Zeri maybe the leader, but you Lena are an Ang...." Hawkeye stopped when Lena placed her hand on her head, stopping her from complimenting any further. Lena didn't think of her anything like that and didn't want to hear it. It would upset her.

"Okay."

The flicker of approaching flame caught Lena's eye, she pats both of Hawkeye's shoulders and stands up, walking to the edge of the roof Lena can see an envoy of sorts approaching the Village. A group of horsemen carrying torches, lightly armed. She slips off the roof and makes her way over to them, halting them in their tracks. The most pompous one of them all, with a sneer on his face - probably at how she was dressed commanded his horse to walk over beside her. He lowers his arm and reveals a scroll.

"Give this to your Village Leader or what-have-you, we also request an audience with them. We are hear to discuss business regarding the rightful heir of the freehold Takauji Ashikaga and how this Village along with the rest of Shinramoto will help his cause against these people who dare take away his birthright. People and 'Clans' who believe they have a right to rule lands, especially those known as The GOLDEN SABBATH will be destroyed."

"A Threat?" Lena was furious but was not showing it, harming these fellows however may cause trouble for the Village's future. She would let them feel the wrath of the Fishermen of this Town first and led them towards Zeri and the rest...

This post marks the beginning of my mission and narrative using these storyboard elements:
- Spy on an important target and remain undetected (4)
- Custom: Scout potential threats (3)
- Custom/Slightly Reworded : Gain valuable information from the enemy (4)

Summary: With the recent development and news of Takauji Ashikaga's Rise in the Tea Peninsula reaching Shinramoto, Lena is worried that this could change things for the worse. With this village in Shinramoto managing on their own, without the need of conflict, they still need to keep their resources and with Ashikaga demanding all hands on deck like he has, the Village could return to Square one - which after all their hard work, Zeri does not want. Lena agrees, so has volunteered to Scout the Tea peninsula for potential threats, spy on anyone she deems as targets and take this information to be used for future planning to decide how to deal with this potential threat.

RP Begins Here.

"C**T!" Zeri slams his fist on his table. Reading the letter that had been given to him. "All Properties and Resources belong to Ashikaga by right my ASS. Tell that to those fuckers we met at Chungsu."

Lena just listened as the Sailor's mouth went on a little rampage, she stood against the doorway to the Captain's cabin with her arms folded. She looked out onto the deck, it was empty, the Crew wasn't here yet. They were early today. Zeri had been annoyed all night ever since the messengers came on behalf of this man named Takauji Ashikaga. This was urgent, and would probably develop fast if this man planned on taking on the Vacuum left behind by Chungsu's fall - he would have to fight everyone else with his same idea. That means getting ahead of the Curve and getting what you can. By any means necessary.

"I should've foreseen this, should've focused on building resources in case of raiding or just to be able to defend outselves. We always had Chungsu to protect us but now we Don't. Stupid me getting a nice looking ship."

"It's not your fault."

"I wasn't thinking militaristic, just economically. A leader should be able to do both!! Think of ALL outcomes!"

"A Leader huh?"

"Shut up."

"Finally accepted it?"

"They're going to need someone now."

"Well then." Lena stopped relaxing against the door frame and stood in a stronger pose, looking towards Zeri. "You get Allies, I'll get information."

That was the plan, they acknowledged what they had to do and started to prepare. Lena didn't take too long to do that, Zeri had to plan what he had to say. Lena had time to plan on her journey into the Tea Peninsula as she travelled. Before she left however she spent some time with Alicia, to see her off Lena ruffled up her hair and began to leave. With her companion summon flying high in the air she got out of View of Shinramoto before commanding it to land, the massive bird lands on a high pirch and Lena climbs onto Songbird's back - giving him a pat on the neck.

"Hey Sweetie. Lets Go." The bird stretches out it's massive wings and flaps them, rising high into the air quickly. Heading away towards the South of Shinramoto, where it began to get a lot rockier due to the Mountain ranges.

REF : (Kuchiyose : Utahime, Sora Doroppā) - Summoning : Songbird, The Sky Dropper

A change in the Wind...

Having left the forest at the base of the mountains, Sinthorus finally knew where he was after Iluvatar had taught him how to navigate using the sun. By this time, it was starting to get later in the day and so they decided it was time they rested before proceeding further. Iluvatar did most the work, he formed a small shelter from broken branches and gathered leaves to create a form of bedding. From there Iluvatar started to prepare some of the foods he'd gathered along the way, vegetables, berries, and a few other bits, ready to make an old elven stew. Iluvatar had gathered several rocks and placed them in a circle, made a stand to put this pot on, one that he'd gathered from the Elven temple, and sat back satisfied. Sinthorus had been staring down at a screen all along and now, looked up at the pot, then and Iluvatar.

"How come you didn't gather any firewood? You can't really cook without heat?"

Iluvatar smiled at him, realising he didn't understand the way the elves had lived.

"Indeed you can't cook without heat, but Sin, that's not the way of my people. We have always lived at one with nature, giving back and keeping the preservation of the circle of life. We never cut down trees, we nurtured them and from there the trees grew in such a way to aid us. The branches that fall from a tree, within them their is moisture, nutrients and so much more. This will sit on the ground, decompose and feed the tree or any other trees with life once more. If we keep taking that, the ground will grow barren, the trees wouldn't grow strong and we would of lost our homes. We already take from them in the form of berries and fruits, but so would the animals of the forest, we join the circle, not dominate the pyramid."

"So, what you're saying is, you'll never have a hot meal? What the hell?"

Iluvatar burst into laughter at the look of disgust on Sinthorus' face.

"I'm sorry, but you are naive..."

Looking angry now, Sinthorus stood up glaring down at Iluvatar.

"Calm down, sit down and watch... let me show you..."

Reluctantly, Sin sat down on a rock, folded his arms and almost glared as the Elf. As he did, Iluvatar brought his hands together, making two signs with his hands then breathing in a little he then spat out something, a fluid, it ignited, landing in the circle formed by the rocks and began to burn steadily under the pot containing the elements for a stew. In shock and surprise, Sinthorus fell backwards of the rock. Then after staring at the flame in disbelief he jumped up looking from the elf to the flame.

"That... what was that? Are you one of those shinobi?"

"I'm afraid shinobi was one of the more modern terms used, along with ninja and others in the process. But that right there is now referred to as a ninjutsu. Many people were able to use them though i don't really know what the state of the world is now, if people still train, or if there is a need for people like me, especially with things like that little glowing screen you have been looking at all evening."

"But how did you do that? I've never seen it before, we don't have anything like that in my village... i mean... would you be able to teach me? Could i do that?"

"Alright, calm down, lets eat then i'll go through and explain everything after. How does that sound?"

Without any protest, Sinthorus sat down, waiting eagerly for the stew, somehow it smelled really good, what had Iluvatar done to it? And so they both sat and ate as the night drew in and the stars began to litter the sky. Sinthorus had two servings as he couldn't believe how good it was. After they finished, they took pots and bowls down to a stream nearby, cleaned them out and returned to their mini camp as the flame still burned in a tame manor. Lying back now looking up at the stars, Iluvatar began to explain.

"Hmmm, where to start. Well to put it short, long ago there was a tree, the tree of life, i mentioned it to you when we first met earlier. This tree was full of energy, also known as 'chakra'. One day some one decided eat the fruit from this tree and through that passed on these powers and so now that power the control chakra flows through all living beings. Over time, people have learned to control these chakras an form them to suit their will. As you saw before, the gestures i made with my hands were called hand signs. You build up the chakra inside you, focus it to the element you want and control it through the right handsigns to release a technique. Chakra is everything and everywhere and has so many uses. For example, you could use it to focus into your feet to walk on water, or use it to create fire like i just did. Or even water to put out the fire... the list is endless. Over times certain clans have formed with unique abilities that allow them to do different things. But every person has a chakra limit, that takes time to replenish, if you run out completely, or try and force a technique, you'll die. You with me so far?"

Sinthorus sat, motionless, eyes wide open, in a trance, listening, learning, trying to remember every detail. It's another thing he'd heard about but was so hard to believe, his mouth a bit open, moving a bit but not really saying much. Seeing this, Iluvatar jumped to his feet is an instant, so fluid, so fast, so light, so graceful. It knocked Sinthorus out of his trance as he looked up.

"Come on, get up..."

He gestured to him to follow him as he took a few steps away from their camp then turning around to face you young man smiling. After a moment, Sinthorus got up and followed stopping in front of his new elven friend.

"Well then, i guess it's time to start. Lets see what you've got?"

Sinthorus looked even more confused that ever now, what did he mean? What has he got?

"Come on now kid, you must know what i mean. Come at me, try to hit me. Lets see if you have any skills."

"You want me... to hit you?"

"That's if you can... haha, come on, give it your best shot..."

Hesitant for a moment, Sinthorus looked on at his new friend, then, something changed, he wanted to do this, he wanted to prove he wasn't just some weak boy that Iluvatar could look down on. Clenching his fist, he lunged forwards with his right foot as he swung his right arm around aiming to strike the jaw of Iluvatar. In that moment, Iluvatar stepped to the outside of Sinthorus fist so that he was infront of him, he grabbed Sinthorus wrist with his right hand, pulling it forwards, causing him to lose his balance, while Iluvatar held out his left foot, tripping him up. Leaving Sinthorus to fall face first into the dirt, the impact knocking the wind out of him as he coughed then pushed himself up onto his hands and knees then dusting off the dirt.

"What the hell was that? That was dirty!"

"No, Sin. You're mistaken. You threw your full force, weight and body into one strike, i simply used your own strength and momentum against you, using minimal effort and preserving my own strength. This is your first lesson. No matter how strong your opponent is, their own strength can be their downfall. The way you need to fight is to be strong strong and firm as rock, but at the same time have the ability to flow like a river, move light as the wind, move like a flash of lightning and be as destructive as fire. Even without ninjutsu, the elements of nature are what will guide you through life. Fighting is like living, it's never going to be easy, but rather than struggling against hardships, make them your power, they will make you strong. Now, try again."

Rising to his feet, sinthorus thought for a moment, this time, he took his time, he held up his arms, like that of a boxer, rather than lunging, he edged forwards, and then he aimed to strike once more, but this time a low punch with his left arm into Iluvatar's stomach. Iluvatar's hands came down, both palms striking the wrist of sinthorus knocking his punch down and stopping hits momentum, his hands locking around the young boys wrist now, he smiled in his face.

"You're in my trap now, i could throw you, twist and break your wrist or so much more, but what would you do, you have this moment, that split second, where you have to decide, this could decide your fate. In that instant, you need to let your body flow, let it become one of the elements, the moment you stop thinking, the moment you let your body react on it's own, that's when you'll truly become a master of combat."

Their eyes locked as all the thoughts went through Sinthorus head. He could just try and punch Iluvatar, but that was the most obvious, the elf would expect that, like he said he could throw him or anything. He then smiled himself as he let his body flow. Moved like wind, he brought his right hand down on to Iluvatar's wrist, clutching it, he couldn't be thrown. Flowing like water he lifts his feet up infront of him, holding Iluvatars hand for support as he does, bracing himself like a rock on his opponents strength to hold him up, and in a swift moment, dropping both his feet on the calf of the Elf with a drop kick with enough force to knock him off his feet down to one knee as Sin fell on his back both letting go of each other now. Once again, the impact of his chest on the ground knocking the breathe out of him, causing him to wince in pain. A moment later, Iluvatar was over him with a hand on his chest holding him down.

"Ah dammit, i failed didn't i?"

"You far exceeded my expectations. I'm proud of you Sin. You asked me if you could learn how to be a shinobi? There is no doubt in my mind. From this day on, you will be my student. You did well, i could see it in your movements as your body flowed, you're a natural. It must be all those movies you've been telling about that you watch haha. Anyway stay still for a moment."

Holding his palm over Sinthorus' chest, Iluvatar's hand began to glow releasing a green light around it, making a soft soothing sound. As it did, Sinthorus chest began to feel, less tight, where he'd hit the ground, the pain eased, breathing became easier, he almost felt as good as new, was there anything Iluvatar couldn't do?

"There we go, you should be fine by now. Anyway, come on, it's time for some rest, we will head over to those fishing villages in the morning. From there we can gather information. But for now lets call it a night."

Sinthorus was too lost in his own thoughts to argue as they bother went back to their camp laying down to rest for the night, but too many thoughts were going through his head to sleep easily, though eventually, the weariness from everything that had happened that day had got to him as he fell into a deep slumber.

To be continued.....

A Storm on the waters

Sinthorus woke up suprisingly early that morning, the sun was beginning to creep over the edge of the world illuminating the land with a burning orange glow. It wasn't normally like him to be up this early, never mind after being up so late and having his ass handed to him by some ancient being from a fairy tail. At that moment he rolled over too look at where the Elf had lay, then realizing he wasn't there, shot upright to look around for him, to see him sat a few meters away from on a rock preparing something, which looked like food. Rubbing his eyes Sinthorus pushed himself up and made his way over the Iluvatar and sat on a rock near him, he wasn't a morning person.

"You're awake sooner than i thought. I hope you slept well, here, take this?"

Sinthorus looked at the bowl suspiciously wondering what was in it, his face must of said it all as at the moment Iluvatar laughed and continued:

"It's fruit, berries and nuts, for breakfast, it's healthy and will help you keep your energy up the rest of the day. Oh, and it tastes good too."

He was too tired to question or argue and so he started on the bowl of fruits and nuts, which, considering where they were, actually wasn't bad. I mean, it wasn't a nice omlette or greasy cheeseburger, but it was still good. From there they ate, Sinthorus went down to the stream for a wash as Iluvatar packed away all their things and made ready to move out. After a few questions about what year it was and the time of year, Iluvatar took a guess at the time by the position of the sun, saying it was probably about 8.30 in the morning. Sinthorus thought he was just messing with him, but he took out his phone which showed "8:32". He was tempted to point it out that he was two minutes out but, lets face it, that was damn close. They proceeded over the grassy terrain which was rather flat considering, travelling for about another hour, where they reached one final hill. Making their way to the top, they stopped as they reached it, looked down across the land, they had arrived, at the base of the hill was their goal, the old fishing villages which opened up into the sea. As if to welcome them, the fresh sea air with that hint of saltyness washed over them from the distance carrying a light mist that cooled them down. After a few moments they decided to head down towards the village.

Waiting just outside the village, before anyone saw them up close, Iluvatar stopped, rubbed a bit of dirt on his face and pulled a hood up over his had, enough to cover his ears.

"Best to lay low for a bit, i mean, look at your reaction to and Elf? Haha. Anyway, people will look at us as though we are strangers in this town, wondering why we are here. For now, you're my son, We left our village on the other side of the mountains because we lost your mother and the memory became too much to linger. We are hoping to set up a new home in the forests. You're name is Sin, and when you speak to me, just call me "Old man". If they ask my name, tell them is Sabo. Got it? And no mentioning anything about being a shinobi. Trust me."

"I don't get it, why would it matter what our names of or if you're a shinobi? Isn't that a good thing?"

"From what you've told me of the world today, no, it wouldn't. This is what you say is a peaceful village, and to hear a man with the power to level it with one technique in and instance is here? It would cause unrest. Shinobi used to make people feel protected, a sign of military peace, but these days i'm not sure, i'd rather play it safe. A father and son moving away from a tragedy is easier to relate to and won't draw unnecessary attention for us. As for the names, we don't want word getting back to your village that you're off with a strange man? And as for my name, well that will just draw more questions... anyway lets go..."

Without any more questions they made their way into the village, but something wasn't right. Why did it seem so... miserable? Sin had heard about these villages down the coast and how happy the people were, how trade had been booming, and even the head of this village was a strong willed person, so why did everyone look so miserable and defeated. As they walked further down, they walked past one of the bars, and outside were sat two men with large swords on their backs, the only ones to look happy. Both larger in stature, some scars, on each of them, seasoned fighters it would seem. Lots of noise was coming from the bar, almost like an on going party, Sin found himself staring a bit too long and one of the men, the larger of the two noticed. Jumping down from the steps of the bar he landed next to Iluvatar who stopped and looked around at the man but keeping his head low, well even his entire body lower than it usually stood. When he held himself at his full height he was a rather intimidating being but now, it was like he was trying to look weaker. The larger man drew his sword off his back and pointed it at Sin growling...

"The f*ck are you looking at kid... poking your nose where it shouldn't belong... maybe i should cut it off so you don't have that problem again you little prick..!!!"

In that moment, Iluvatar stumbled back, holding both his hands up in front of him as he blocked the path between the larger man and Sin. It wasn't like him to stumble though what was he doing.

"I i i'm so sorry.... he doesn't know any better... we literally just arrived here... please forgive his ignorance... i'll make sure it doesn't happen again..."

His voice wasn't his normal harmonic voice, it was that of a scared man, shaking almost. What was going on?

"I have a better idea, i'll use you to make an example for the kid!!!"

In that moment, he swung his free right hand around towards Iluvatar's face, as he did, Iluvatar brought his hands up to defend his face, but the punch connected hitting him in his right cheek with full force and knocking him to the ground, crumbling on the floor as the hood fell further over his face. The large man laughed looking down on him...

"What a pathetic excuse for a man, no wonder the kid doesn't know his place... what a waste of my time.... but you kid, look in my direction again... and you'll know the full wrath of the Mortarius Bandits... now take that piece of sh*t father and get the f*ck out of my sight...."

Stood frozen for a second with fear then sin knelt down quickly pulling Iluvatar over his shoulder and helping him up and around a corner away from the bar into an alley way as the two large men now went into the bar. As soon as they were out of sight, Iluvatar stood up now, looking fine back to his normal self.

"So that's why the village seems so miserable, those bandits have probably moved in recently and disrupted their way of living, hmm..."

Sin was baffled.

"You just got punched square in the face by that massive guy, how are you fine now when you were like that a minute ago?"

Iluvatar looked confused for a moment then realized what Sin was asking.

"Oh, that was all an act. He didn't actually hit me. I caught his punch in my palm, then like water let my body flow, and let my legs come off the ground as his fist pushed me. There wasn't really and impact to hurt me. Plus if i fought back it could of meant more trouble for the entire village. Instead i got my answers about the village, you just happened to help me do it sooner. It seems those bandits are the reason why the village is like this and going off how they were protecting that bar, it would seem as though that is where they are based."

"Well you can take them right? Why not just go in there and beat the crap out of them and scare them out of the town? You'd be a hero and help these people then."

"I love your enthusiasm, and your heart is in the right place, but you don't see the big picture. Yes, i could go in there, maybe fight them all, assuming there aren't hiding some strong shinobi as a secret weapon, assuming i do win, i beat these bandits, what then? They leave and go hide, or find more allies, then come back, again and again. Do i stay here and protect the village forever?"

"So you're saying you're not going to help them? You're just going to leave them to suffer..."

At this moment, Iluvatar placed both his hands on Sin's shoulders and looked him in the eyes, one look of reassurance and power.

"Of course not. But for now... i trust in you to help them... but i'll be back when you need me most... trust your instincts... use the money i gave you to get a room. When you need me i'll be there...."

Then in a poof of smoke he was gone. The Elven lord had left him in this village all alone, with those crazy ass bandits. And somehow he expected Sin to help this village? What could he do? Well he doubted he could make his way home now, he wouldn't know the way until he asked around and well the day was getting on a bit. So he decided to head around town, going the long way this time to avoid that tavern until he saw the symbol for an Inn in the distance. He decided to head there, at least he would have somewhere to sleep whole he figured out what to do or until that old guy came back. He reached the Inn and saw a little girl outside playing on the porch, he went over and leaned over.

"Hey, my name is sin, what's your name?"

"My name is Alicia. My mummy is inside, she's not been feeling too well, so we're staying at the Inn so they can look after her. Those stupid bandits are ruining my town, if Zeri was here they would know about it!!!"

"Yeah i ran into them earlier... one of them hit Ilu... my dad, just because i was looking at them. But who is this Zeri? Is he like your village leader?"

"He might as well be, he'd teach these bandits a lesson. If it wasn't for them, we'd be able to use the medical supplies to help my mummy, but they wont give them to us. But when Zeri gets back, he'll make them!"

"You're quite the strong willed kid aren't you? How old are you?"

"I'm not just a kid, i'm 7!"

"Wow 7, that is grown up. Well i was wondering if you'd be able help me out, my dad gave me some money and told me to get us a room for the night, i was wondering if you knew if there were any spare here?"

"Uh huh, not many people have come here since the Bandits got here, so there are always rooms spare. Come on i'll show you, then you can come and play with me until your dad gets back!"

Sinthorus smiled, it was like he had a little sister, he'd been an only child growing up so this feeling was strange to him, but this girl was so strong willed and kind even with this village the way it was. He followed her into the Inn meeting the old lady innkeeper and booking a room for a few nights, one with two beds, assuming the old man came back. From there he took his stuff up to the room, had a shower, got changed and then kept his word, he headed back down to the front of the Inn to place with Alicia until it was time for food.

A Storm on the waters

"I don't get it, why would it matter what our names of or if you're a shinobi? Isn't that a good thing?"

- Defend your employer from bandits (3) [My twist on this is to defend my npc companion]
- Convince a neutral party to fight with you (3)
- Stomp out protest and/or dissent (3)
- Disperse a mob (4)
- Save a large community from danger (5)

Summary: This mission will tell the tale of how Iluvatar traveled northward heading towards the remnants of Konoha, looking for answers with his companion, Sinthorus (npc). Along the way he passes through the fishing villages suffering under the hands of a mass of bandits. He can't sit by and watch this even though Sinthorus warns him that these bandits run these lands. After a small skirimish the first bandits retreat, but that's just the start as they return in mass with their leader. The Elven lord is outnumbered, surrounded by a mob of bandits. Can he convince the suppressed villagers to join him? Or are their fate sealed within him?

Strength in Unity

Sin had settled into the room, and was now downstairs playing with Alicia, having a little tea party. It was so innocent, it took his mind off everything that had happened in the past couple of days. It was about 6pm when the Innkeeper, and elderly lady, Ann, came out to invite Alicia to supper. She then looked over to Sin who was sat next to her.

"Are you hungry dear? It seems that you've had a long day, and i'm sure Alicia would love her new friend to join us for a meal?"

Alicia looked up at sin with a big innocent grin on her face. Sin was about to politely refuse as he didn't want to intrude on their meal, but it was at that moment his stomach growled like a bear answering for him, Alicia and Ann burst out laughing and he followed them both in. They enjoyed a hearty stew with some fresh made bread that Ann had made herself. It was one of the best meals that Sin could remember, thanking her profusely. It was after the meal that he offered to clean up, as a thanks for the meal, helping Ann with the washing up. While she stood drying the bowls and he continued to wash, he decided to ask her:

"So... me and my... dad... ran into two big bandits at that bar in town earlier, why did they come here?"

"Oh, i'm sorry you had to put up with them my dear. You seem like a nice young man. They arrived a couple of days back and stormed into that tavern taking over it, the old man that ran it didn't have a chance. If Zeri was here, it wouldn't have happened, he'd of shown them. But since then they have just been bullying the villagers, any that stood up to them were beaten badly just through being outnumbered. Now they just cause trouble, people don't want to come here now, we used to have such a lively village, it's sad indeed... "

"I'm sorry that you have to put up with this, the scum in the world ruin such peaceful times... maybe if everyone stuck together we could push them out and..."

"Let me just stop you there boy, i know your heart is in the right place, but we are just a fishing village, we aren't warriors, we are merchants and peaceful people. In time these bandits will get bored and move on. You should stay here while you wait for your dad to return and then move on, they aren't worth the trouble my boy."

"I Just wish i was stronger... that way i could teach them a lesson..."

By this point Sin was stood looking down with his firsts clenched, angry, beating himself up that there wasn't anything he could do, when two gentle hands were on his shoulders, turning him to face a gentle old face that was Ann.

"Listen boy, you put a smile on Alicia's face in these dark times, that's worth more than any strength in the world, a good heart will take you far, remember that, but now, it's time to get Alicia to bed, i'll see you in the morning..."

With that she walked out the room, but her words had left there mark. He was smiling. He finished the cleaning up then head up to his room and lay down on the bed. Maybe it wasn't so bad, as long as he could make at least one innocent life smile. But where had Iluvatar gone? What was he doing? When would he be back? Was he actually starting to worry about the old elf? Nah, he could look after himself. He decided to get some sleep so that in the morning he could see Alicia again and maybe try and do something to help her mother. With that he drifted off into a heavy sleep as the weariness from everything the past couple of days washed over him.

It must of been late morning when he woke because the sun had already risen high. Rolling over he saw that Iluvatar's bed still remained untouched, so he hadn't come there that night? Oh well, going through his usual routine, Sin got up and washed and got dressed before heading downstairs where he found Ann in the kitchen mixing something up in a bowl.

"Oh hello dear, did you sleep well? You've already wasted half the day."

She said in a kind voice with that gentle smile on here face.

"Yeah, i slept really well thank you, you have a lovely Inn here. It must of been all that travelling that got to me. Where is Alicia today? I thought i could try and cheer her up again."

"You'll have to get up earlier to catch that one dear. She was up hours ago, she ate and then went off into the village saying there was something she wanted to get, maybe you'll find her if you left now?"

"Ah damn, yeah i'll go see where she's got up to, don't want her causing any trouble now do we?"

Already he felt close to these people. Like this was a second home to him now, and there was something about Alicia, he was drawn to her, he wanted to make her smile again. And so grabbing a quick bite to eat, he set off into the town but where did he start looking? He didn't really know this place, nor have any idea what Alicia would be looking for. He guessed if he just walked around for a while he'd either run into her or maybe he could ask someone.

After about 15 minutes of looking around, he saw a crowd formed near the center of the village. He decided to go and see what was going on. Heading over, he edged his way through the crowd but stopped near the front, frozen in shock. It was the large guy from the tavern the day before, the bandit, but that's not what left him stunned, clutched in his hand was the front of Alicia's clothes as he held her in the air, laughing at her as she kicked and struggled, he legs hanging in the air. The thugs had was half the size of her, she was helpless. The crowd pleaded "Let here go", "She's just a kid... she doesn't know what she's saying"...

"I do know what i'm saying, these are just bullies... i just want the stuff to help my mommy... if Zeri was here... he'd show them..."

"Stupid brat running your mouth... i'll make an example of you so these peasants know their place!"

In that moment he drew his arm back and threw Alicia towards the ground. It was like it all happened in slow motion. Upon instinct Sin leapt forwards through the crowd, through the air, catching Alicia in his arms as he slid to a half, her cradled in his arms. After a moment she looked up and smiled at him then hugged onto him. He stood up and lifted her with him, then dusting off her off and saying.

"Are you ok? Get back to Ann, this is too dangerous."

She smiled and hugged him then went to run back into the crowd.

"Who the hell do you thing you are? Letting my play thing go like that... do you want to take her place? You'd make a good example... oh... i remember you... you're father is that coward i pumbled into the ground isn't he? Haha, like father like son, pathetic. Once i'm done with you... i'll find that little girl.... and i'll make her regret the day she ever tried to take anything from us....!!"

In that moment Sin's body acted on it's own his anger and will to protect Alicia driving him as he rushed forwards going to punch this thug in the stomach with all his force and make him regret that. He lunged forwards with all his might but the brute caught his arm, smiling. Looking down on Sin.

"Oh the big brave kid things he could stand a chance... i'll make you regret that...."

As he said this he begin to clutch Sin's wrist, hurting him, causing him to go down to one knee in pain. He tried to pull free, but he was too strong, he was trapped there was nothing he could do. It was in that moment that he had a flashback:

Sin stopped fighting back, he relaxed for a moment then remembered how he had trained with Iluvatar. Like the elements, flow and strike. He grabbed hold of the brutes arm and lifted both his legs up and dropped both his feet into the brutes knee, causing his leg to buckle backwards, causing him to let go of Sin who fell backwards, onto his ass and the brute fell to the floor holding his leg in pain cursing angrily. Sin moved back and got to his feet.

"You're not invincible... you're just bullies who try and pick on the weak, that little girl is more of a man than you'll ever be.... Everyone i know you care about your village... but you can't wait for someone to come along and save you from everything... you are strong... this your home... don't let them take it from you..."

As he spoke he second of the two brutes lunged forwards punching Sin in the face sending him crashing into the ground, crumpled on the floor. But he wasn't done. He advanced, he wanted to destroy Sin and teach him who he was messing with. But as he went to grab him from the ground, a harpoon was infront of him, stopping his advance, as he looked up, several more appeared. It was the villagers, they were standing their ground.

"Back away from him!"

"This is our village!"

"Take one more step and see what happens."

The brute took a step back, he was in shock... he didn't know what to do, slowly backing away, he retreated to his brute companion, helping him up and with a growl the two disappeared into the distance. As they did the villagers came around to Sin, making sure he was ok and helped him up, as they all headed back to the Inn, they explained everything to Ann and Sin found out what had happened. Alicia got upset seeing her mother feeling so sick and decided to sneak into the store house for medical supplies, but she had got caught by the bandits. When the villages saw they all tried to plead for her but she was a strong willed girl, she wasn't going to get bullied by two bandits. But now they all knew, that wouldn't be the end of it. And so they all sat around wondering what they should do, could they get a message to Zeri to come and help them? It was about an hour later that they heard many footsteps outside as a voice called out.

"Well, you all gonna hide in there like cowards or are you and that brat going to finsih what you started?"

Inside they all mumbled between themselves, wondering what to do now, how to deal with it. It was while they were distracted that they heard the front door shut behind someone. Who was missing? It was Sinthorus. Out on the porch he face the mob of bandits alone with the guy that must of been their leader stood at the front leaning on a cane in a full suit.

"They did nothing wrong, it was all me, i put that girl up to this and i was the one that attacked your guy... if you wanna take it out on someone... take it out on me... i can't let you hurt these people...."

Their leader began to laugh and with that the rest of the bandits burst into laughter too. There must have been atleast 40 of them or more. He knew he didn't stand a chance, he just didn't want anything bad to happen to these people because of him, but he couldn't watch Alicia be hurt.

"Awwww.... the kid wants to be the hero... don't worry... you'll pay for what you've done, but those cretins behind you raised weapons to my boys... and we can't let that slide, if they wanna see a fight... we will just have to give them one..."

Before Sin could protest, the doors behind him opened and the men from earlier with the harpoons came pouring out, on both sides of him, all serious, determined, fearless now.

"This is our fight. This is our village, you've showed us that... leave it to us..."

Sin tried to protest but they wouldn't listen as they poured down the steps. 15 fishermen vs 40 well armed bandits. This wasn't going to end well, it was out of his hands, nothing he could do. He wished he was stronger. Time seemed to slow down, he couldn't think straight. Then the bandits started to move forwards, weapons raised, Sin closed his eyes, he'd failed he couldn't watch. But then he heard screams, was it the fishermen? No, it was too many. Something was glowing so bright, he could see it through his eyelids, he tried to open his eyes but the ground itself was as bright as the sun, he had to keep them closed, what was this. Then a hand touched his shoulder from behind.

"I'm proud of you... you've done more than i could ever ask here... but leave the rest to me...."

The ground all around burned bright, but it was only the bandits that screamed out in pain, like their souls were on fire, they couldn't take it, then scrambled around, bumping into each other, collapsing one after the other, none able to escape, and when the last one fell, the light faded once more, leaving the streets littered with lifeless bandits. Now Iluvatar stepped forwards and turned to face Sin and everyone else.

"I'm sorry for the late entrance, but it seems you were in good hands with Sin here, i am his... father. Today you've shown how strong you are as a village, and they wont forget that any time soon. You came together over the life of one innocent child. That is true power. Don't worry about these bandits. A ship will be here within the hour, they are going all to be locked away. None of them will awake for several hours. Now return to your homes. The light will watch over you. As for you Sin, it's time for for us to catch up..."

After what had just happened, everyone was speechless and did as they were told, they all returned to their homes in shock as Iluvatar and sin headed into the Inn together. There Iluvatar met Alicia who jumped at sin and hugged him. From there Iluvatar asked to see her mother, saying he could help. Just like the night before, Iluvatar placed his hands over her mother, releasing a green light, and after several minutes, he released the light. With that, her eyes shot open in confusion as Alicia leapt into her arms hugging her. She was back to normal. After thanks were passed and Iluvatar was happy with her progress he took his leave saying how she should rest. Going back to the room that Sin had booked.

"So are you going to tell me where the hell you've been and what the hell happened back there?"

Iluvatar laughed and sat down at the table gesturing for Sin to sit with him.

"Straight to the point as always. Where have i been? I was always here. Just because you couldn't see me, doesn't mean i left. I was always by your side, you were never in danger. It's a shinobi trick you might say. I dropped a smoke bomb before and then went invisible. I wanted to see how you'd act when you thought you were alone and how this village would accept you. I couldn't be more proud, and i can tell you are truly pure of heart. When i saw that the village was ready to defend itself to the very end, thanks to you, that's when i decided to step in. The light you saw, that's the Silmarilis, Holy fire. This is the power of the elves. It's a fire that will only burn those the user sees as an enemy or one that seeks to harm, that's why only the bandits were harmed and no one in the village. They couldn't see me and then they were blinded, so even if they recover, they wont return, they fear what they don't understand. This village is strong, they just needed a bit of support when they felt weak. From what i've heard, there is one strong person they see as a leader, Zeri, but they are away at this moment. They also have another ally but i didn't catch their name... they passed by here just before the Bandits came. Maybe we will run into them..."

Sin was speechless. He had to take it all in, he wanted to be angry but he was happy, the village was safe, Alicia was fine, the bandits were defeated and Alicia's mum was fine. It seemed that in the end, he'd actually done some good. Maybe he wasn't as weak as he thought? Well only time would tell. And so they both relaxed and caught up on other events before heading down for a meal with Ann, Alicia and her mother....

This post marks the beginning of my mission and narrative using these storyboard elements:
- Torture a suspect (3)
- Custom : Teach them a Lesson. (3)

Summary: Lena returned to Shinramoto to notice that Bandits had tried to cause trouble there, due to her emotional conflict from before her fury had built up. First she would question the bandits to be aware of their ties, being suspicious of them being apart of Ashikaga's conquest of this land. She'd then teach them a lesson for even daring to come to her Village and lay a finger on any of her friends. No matter how brutal.

-RP Begins Here-

Arriving From :

She felt very close to home now, arriving in the lands of Shinramoto she was beginning to feel more relieved to be getting closer to just having a break - especially emotionally. Songbird probably needed a rest too, carrying all this Cargo was more than likely putting a strain on his strength even if he was huge. The Grass quickly passed underneath them, she wondered if Zeri was back by now and if his quest had been a success, her thoughts then shifted to Alicia who was probably being a jolly little angel as always right now. Whilst sitting on top of the Cargo, Lena had observed it's packaging by now - mostly of wooden boxes with some tarp covering over it, each mentioned their flammability and the fact that it could be explosive on some.

The coast was coming into view now beautifully across the horizon the green of the grass shifted from yellows, browns to blues and cyan's. A Sight to behold from this high up in the air, it was rare when Lena appreciated something, but this was a good time to appreciate something so peaceful and natural. Her eyes were glaring up into the air as the breeze passed through her white hair, it parted for the wind as she moved through it.

Her eyes now caught sight of the familiar village, she stood up on top of the Cargo as it approached quite quickly. Lena peaked over the edge down at the Grass and then back up at the Village, Songbird let out a caw as they became within earshot. She noticed something however as her vision was filled with details of her village, more people, a lot of people.

Strangers.

Songbird stopped it's forward momentum and began to turn slowly as it lowered towards the ground. Lena stepped off the edge and went straight down, landing on the ground quite gracefully and before the Palettes of Cargo does. She begins to walk forward, her prize landing behind her whilst Songbird lands on top, sitting and getting himself quite comfortable. Her steps took her into the Village and through the streets as men and women dressed quite unfriendly looking, bandits maybe? They seemed to have been dealt with as Sailors were tying them up with rope.

"What's happened here?"

She caught the attention of one of the fishermen with her firm voice, he looked up quickly and caught Lena in his vision. He blinked a few times and then looked back down at the bandits, what would the threaded woman of shinramoto do?

"Well, these lot recently came her and caused us some trouble, taking over the Bar and harassing the locals. B-but we managed to deal with them Miss."

"Anyone get hurt?"

"Nah, Zeri's little kid was shook around a bit, but a strang...."

"WHO?"

Lena's eyes glared at the fisherman, with a sort of seething rage that hid behind the face that masked her current emotion. But it could be felt, it radiated like an aura that would strike disheartening into the people around. The fisherman stumbled over his words and quickly looked around trying to find the big brute that was at the bar with his pal, he was nearer to the beginning of the mob which he pointed to. Lena homed in on her target, eyes locked on the large man, she walked over to him as the Sailors watched her. She heard a familiar crew member's voice reach out to her,

"They're gonna get what they deserve, they'll be going away for a long time!"

She shrugged it off, she would make sure they'd get what they were gonna deserve - to her a long time wasn't good enough, permanently was the answer. Lena stood in front of the tied up bandit who was sitting in front up at this point, barely waking up from his previous ordeal. He looked up slowly, the sun hitting the back of Lena, his eyes squinting as the sun leaked around her silhouette - he felt her aura, he suddenly felt scared and helpless.

"You came to MY Village."

Lena planted her foot on his chest and pushed him onto his back, her mouth and expression looked neutral on her face except from her eyes, her pupils trembled.

"You pushed around MY people."

Lena crouched down suddenly and punched him in the throat, then grabbing it, the man spluttering and coughing, trying to find air. She then leaned close to his ear and whispered.

"You put a hand on my Alicia."

She let go of him and stood up, stopping his constricted breathing and allowing him to take oxygen into his lungs again. His eyes glanced over to her, his hands bound so he couldn't reach to the pain around his neck. Lena paced around him, hand on hip as she didn't even look at the Bandit.

"Were you hired to come here?"

The Bandit shook his head quickly in response. Lena's reply was instant, she had placed her foot on his crotch and applied pressure to the area, causing him to wail out in pain as she shuffled her foot from left to right, crushing and pushing.

"Who. Hired. You?"

He tried to say something, sounded a bit like the repeated begging to stop so Lena took her foot off his crotch.

"Does the name Ashikaga ring a bell?"

He had rolled onto his side now due to his pain, knees closed together and legs pulled up to try and cover his manhood. Lena rolled her eyes and grabbed a nearby bandit, it was the other brute he was with at the Bar before leaving to get the others. She had grabbed the brute by his hair and pulled him up so his head was just below hers, the rest of his body just trying to crouch properly as he was dragged over, legs trying to catch up as arms were tied up. The initial interrogated bandit notices her dragging over his friend and whimpers slightly. Lena doesn't even ask again and slits the brute's throat, blood gushed from it and his eyes rolled back into his skull. She threw him onto the suspect she had chosen to interrogate, the brute weighed a few pounds so would keep the other pinned especially with his hands tied as he bled out all over him. The bandit whimpered and tried to wiggle free but Lena crouched above his head looking down at him, hands rested on her knees.

"Ashikaga or his goons paid you?"

The bandit looked up at her, tears in his eyes, a little anger coming to light on his face as a mix of emotions boiled within him he started to growl. Lena managed a little smile and stood up.

"You're less of a P*ssy than I expected."

She walked over to another bandit, playing a game of eenie meenie miney moh in her head and settled on a Dark haired female bandit. Lena grabbed her and threw her over shoulder, the bandit protested loudly and wiggled her legs about as she was being carried over to the Dead brute and alive brute. Lena tossed her on top of the forming pile, adding more weight. Before the woman could roll off Lena pressed her hand around the Woman's throat and looked at the Male Brute.

"He wanted you to reduce moral? Make sure the Village was weak enough to take over?"

The brute shook his head slowly at the sight of another of his friends being choked out on top of him. Lena let out a sigh and commanded her nails to grow longer on each of her fingers of her left hand, she then inserts the nail of her pinky finger first into the neck of the woman - blood dripped from the wound as she snapped the nail off and let it fester in the flesh. The woman bandit coughed and couldn't breath properly and struggled and shimmied. Lena waited a moment and the nail of the finger next to the pinky into the woman's throat, snapping it off. She started to choke up blood now as more leaked from the long nails stuck in her throat. The Brute looked like he was just not going to talk, so she shrugged and nonchalantly held her hand over the suffering woman.

"OKAY!" His raspy voice broke through, "We were told to come here and keep you in check so that Ashikaga's men could roll in and save the day! Take over the town, we would be paid!"

Lena buried the rest of her elongated nails into the Woman's chest, ending her suffering as she was choking on her own blood. Her dreams would come true as her heart was forced to stop and the body didn't need to struggle anymore. The brute at the bottom of these two bodies cried out for Lena to stop. Lena spoke over his wailing;

"After I kill the rest of them, I'd let you go to send a message - you'd probably get killed by them or forced to come back and fight and I'd kill you then. But. You touched Alicia, so your corpse will be message enough." Lena's voice was calm and actually quite quiet, explaining her thoughts to the bandit as she leant on the pile she had created on top of him. She didn't notice everyone watching her in some kind of horror, the fishermen were still tying bandits up and other populace of the village quickly shuffled passed. Though there was a little bit of a crowd.

The bandit looked defeated, he wanted to get out from under his dead friends, look away, not remember this day. He much preferred the other man before, who had simply made them go unconscious - he seemed reasonable, but this woman. Not this woman. She was furious and he knew it, he felt it.

It was a few moments but Lena with the help of some Fishermen rounded all the bandits together into one group of tied up sitting people. They weren't too deep in the village, on the edge before the men got intercepted by the villagers and the visitors from before. So now they had been rounded up just outside whilst Lena remained on the edge, she had separated two of the bandits from the rest and had beckoned the fishermen and rest of the public away. The threaded woman stomps on the ground and makes an underground tunnel between her and the tied up group of bandits in the distance. She then turned to the two bandits that were with her, one was the one that she had tortured and interrogated and the other was who she saw as the Youngest of the bandits, he only looked like he was in his teens. She then looks back and breathes out fire into the tunnel, it carries roock and other debris melting it on the way under the group. Lena performs a single hand seal and the ground erupts underneath unleashing the waves of ear piercing screams as the bandits were buried and drowning and burning amongst the molten rock pit. Lena turned around and let it happen behind her as she addressed the young bandit.

"You've followed a wrong path. You'll be my message sender and then you'll leave this life behind you." She pats his back and beckons him to leave the village, holding her hand out as he runs off, he'd have to run passed the screaming pile of dead and dying bandits. He tried to look away and cried, he flinched as the screams got to him and then he exploded. Into smithereens.

The last alive Bandit jerked back as he watched the youngest explode, he then looked towards Lena with despair and confusion in his eyes. Lena had placed an explosive tag on the youngest's back when she patted him. She just looked at the last surviving bandit and shrugged.

"I lied. So how do I end you?"

(Katon: Keshi Makuga Hara) - Fire Release: Exploding Flame Crater

Description: The user first stomps on the ground, using his fire chakra and making an underground tunnel from between themselves and the opponent. They then breathe out fire into the tunnel, causing the fire carry rock and other debris with it as it travels, melting them. With a single hand seal, the molten rock debris will erupt from the ground underneath the opponent, engulfing them and burning them alive.

"...." The brute's eyes were filled with tears and his cheeks had streams, but his expression remained solid.

"Okay."

He was then suddenly swooped off his feet by Songbird who had gripped his head with just one of it's Talons and lifted him up high into the sky. As he was being grabbed all Lena heard was a sharp gasp as he was taken away from her, she just looked up and watched him carefully as he was carried away. And then dropped, she kept watching him as he fell and fell and then. Crunch. He hit the molten rock pile of bandits, he suffered among them now. Lena walked off. She had done what she deemed she had to.

Lena walked through the town, peaceful now, depressed - she was unmoved by her choice though. She heard Juliana had moved to the Inn to be looked after by villagers as she took ill. She quickly went over there instead of their house. As she walked into the Inn she looked around before hearing familiar voices and laughter and made her way into that same room, looking around with wary eyes as there was a couple of strangers she didn't recognise - but there was no aggression from them or her fellow villagers. Alicia spotted Lena and she lit up, jumping off her seat and running over to her; leaping into her arms as Lena crouched down to catch her, wrapping her arms around her and giving a light squeeze, hand placed on the back of her head.

"There were bad men and we stood up to them Lena! Are you Proud? Mother said I was very brave! I hope they don't come back. I heard shouting, did they run away??"

"Yes Alicia and they won't ever return, I told them off." Lena spoke quietly to her Precious little girl. Juliana looked at Lena, she was worried about the aftermath of this, she knew what Lena had done understood her decision . But was it too much.

"They'll never lay a finger on you again..."

Lena buried the rest of her elongated nails into the Woman's chest, ending her suffering as she was choking on her own blood. Her dreams would come true as her heart was forced to stop and the body didn't need to struggle anymore. The brute at the bottom of these two bodies cried out for Lena to stop. Lena spoke over his wailing;

Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Mid-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60

-End Mission-

OOC: Glorious return to a village dear to you, savage revenge even. But i'm going to interrupt the ending to your story. I'm afraid, Iluvatar will never waste a life, and he can't sit by while he senses such atrocities happen, even in the name of good. It's time for us to meet...

This post marks the beginning of my (our) mission using these storyboard elements:
- Choose between what is right and what is easy (3)
- Negotiate for or speak on behalf of your clan (3) My twist on this will be to negotiate for the lives of the bandits.
- Convince an enemy to fight with you (4) - Right now Never's bio, Lena, would be my enemy, as Elves don't condone murder, my goal is to draw her in as a ally while saving the remaining bandits.
- Take responsibility for the actions of your Clan and/or its members (4)

Summary: Iluvatar and Sinthorus would be in the Inn on the return of Lena. While there, Iluvatar would sense Lena's intent to harm and kill, all her killing intent would draw in Iluvatar, following her train, he would arrive as the Bandits are about to be engulfed in flames. Can he save them on time? And if he does, how will this Lena react?

This Fire Burns...

Having enjoyed their meal, Iluvatar excused both himself and Sin, to return to their room as they had much to catch up on and how it had been a long day. No one seemed to argue or even offended, they had all been on edge with the bandits in town causing trouble and everything had been so tense, it was nice to finally not have to worry again. They thanked both of them profusely, and offered to do anything they needed. Iluvatar bowed with a smile on his face thanking them once more for the meal as they both headed to their room. Once inside, Iluvatar walked over to the table by the window and sat down beckoning for Sinthorus to join him. After pulling a drink out the fridge, Sin dropped into a chair opposite Iluvatar, kicking his feet up and slouched back in exhaustion.

"Seems you've had rather an eventful day?"

"You could say that again..."

"I leave you alone for one day and you find the biggest brute in town to pick a fight with and almost throw a town into a mini war..."

"Wait... no! It wasn't like that... i was just looking for Alicia and...!"

He was cut off by Iluvatar's laugh all of a sudden.

"I'm just messing with you. You did the right thing, i'm proud of you. Doing the right thing isn't always easy, nor is it always the thing you want to do. Forgiving someone that has wronged you, or someone you care about... all these decisions will define who you are. But let me just tell you this, if you live by what you feel is right, you will always sleep better at night. It wont be easy, trust me..."

"Yeah yeah, whatever old man... like i say i was just trying to help a friend out..."

He said this looking away from Iluvatar at this point, he knew the old Elf was smiling at him, but he didn't want to admit the Elf was right. Instead he took a sip from his drink. Suddenly the smile was gone from Iluvatar's face. A serious focused expression now sat there, staring forwards but at nothing, like he was seeing something elsewhere. His ears twitched. Suddenly he was on his feet, the blades that were lay on the bed now formed into a bow that was placed on his back, walking towards the window.

"What the hell old man? What's going on?"

He was stood up now too, both hands leaning on the table and Iluvatar turned to look at him for a moment.

"Something is wrong... someone is here... i can sense it... That killing intent... i told you... we elves can sense the intent to harm or any negative intentions... right now, it's like this entire village just got hit by a tsunami of pure intent to kill.... friend or foe i don't like it... you HAVE to stay here this time. I have no idea how strong this person is or if i'll return. If i don't return within the hour, take the money, rent a boat and follow the coast down past the mountains home. There are less dangers by sea... got it?!"

"Wait! What are you talking about? Let me..."

Iluvatar looked at him now, a glare that silenced him as he spoke in a firm, authoritative voice.

"Do as you're told. If you come you might die. Now i can't linger any longer....!"

With that the window was open and Iluvatar was gone in a flash, leaving Sin stood there. He'd never seen the Elf like that. He was serious, intense, was he scared? He'd seen the Elf take out all those bandits in one go without breaking a sweat and now he was acting like this all of a sudden? It must be bad news. He paced the room for a bit then decided to sit down, there was nothing he could do. He'd already caused enough trouble today. And so he waited, counting the minutes, the seconds, waiting for his friend to return. Heh, his friend? When did that happen?

Iluvatar leapt over the rooftops silently, shooting through the air like an arrow, too quick for anyone to notice as he reached where he'd sensed everything. He stopped on a lower roof hiding behind a wall and looked down below. There stood a single woman, but he couldn't help but notice, the blood, the bodies. Those bandits, she was killing them. One after one. With his ears he had heightened senses, trying to listen in for a moment, to catch some of the conversation, he needed to know who this woman was. From what he heard, the bandits had all been a distraction, something for a plan to do with a group he handn't heard of "Ashikaga". He was about to make his move, the last of the bandits had all been tied up in a single spot, as two remained with this woman. She looked around 20 years old, quite pale, tall for a woman. She looked, serious. But what added to her look was that sadistic killing intent aura she was giving off, he could almost taste it. He watched as she spoke, then the younger bandit was told to go. Without hesitation he tried to run. Iluvatar's eyes followed his path, he was heading in the direction of the pile of other bandits. That girl, breathing fire into the ground...

"No she can't be..."

He dashed behind the houses from roof to roof, then at the last second, just as the fire was about to engulf all the bandits, a gust of wind pushed them all backwards 20m in a large push, forcing them away from the fire including the young bandit that was running. They would get scrapes and bruises, but nothing life threatening, avoiding the debris as well from the fire itself breaking through the ground. Iluvatar leapt off the final house at the end of the row, jumped through the air and landed 5 meters in front of the pile of bodies. Broken they may be bust still alive. Iluvatar stood now, bow in hand facing the new arrival. Locking eyes with her in the process. His hood still up to hide his ears, but he noticed something, he ears were similar in a way.

"Sorry to interrupt your fun but i can't let this continue. I don't know what connection you have with this village, but i heard how they spoke to you, you're a friend or ally, i can see that. And i'm assuming you heard about what these bandits have been doing, hence your reaction. I can feel that killing intent of yours, you want them to suffer you want to make them pay. But that's not the right way. That's the easy way out. And eye for an eye makes the world go blind. If you kill these here, who ever hired them will want revenge, and endless cycle. I get why you're angry, they have tarnished and hurt something that is precious to you. But killing them wont fix that, that's just the easy way. You're just as bad as them if you kill them here and now. If you want to blame someone, blame me. It was i who came here with my son, he struck at the bandits first, that's how all this started. If you want to take it out on some... take it out on me...."

Now Iluvatar stood, watching, waiting. The look on her face said it all, she wasn't going to just let this end, let them all off because of a few words, she'd need to direct her fury and her anger. Iluvatar valued every life, no matter what, and so he would put his on the line first before letting her devalue her own life killing scum like these....

Intent sensing: This was inspired by the killing intent jutsu. With that you are able to amplify you're killing intent through your chakra. This on the other hand is the ability to sense killing intent even without the use of unique chakra sensing. With this would could sense anything with the intent to harm, destroy, kill, anything that isn't seen as pure. So for example earth spikes would be used to kill through nature, you'd be able to sense this, where as a earthen shield you wouldn't be able to sense as there is no harmful or evil intent behind this. This stems from the good intent intended when the sealing jutsu was done to create the clan's abilities. This was proven possible by the likes of Karin who could sense the darkness is Sasuke chakra and the lightness in Narutos. It would allow the user in a fight to sense when they are in danger from a sneak attack much like what some may call a "spider sense" as they would sense what's harmful to them and not of a pure nature.

(Futon: Uindo no Mai) Wind Release: Wind Dance
Rank: A
Type: Offense
Range: Short-long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: The user will use their wind chakra to push their opponent in any direction they choose.
~Can only be used 3X per battle.~
~No other wind jutsu can be used in the same turn.~

Kyohaku Kasai | Star Fire
Type: Offensive/Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: S (C-S)
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: (15-40)
Damage: (30-80)
Description: The Noldor, also know as the Elves, have always loved to live within their ancient forest which they felt at one with. Over the years bows were developed but always forged using the holy fire to infuse them with their chakra. They were now made of chakra steel, so as to not drain all the trees of their power. But a few unique traits were added:

Blades: The bow is made out of two, one handed swords that link together to form the bow. They were forged first with the holy fire purifying the steel, and make them so they are more adaptable to the elves element. Each blade is a foot and a half long that curves as it gets towards the point to create the shape need to form the bow. Much like the bow itself, these blades can be infused with the Silmarilis (holy fire) which cause them to glow with bright flames as they are covered in the element. The strength of this light is dependent on the amount of chakra put into the blades. To put chakra into the blades it counts as one of the three moves per turn. This chakra can be released in a wave like the samurai techniques, going in a straight line up to long range. Releasing the wave counts as a move per turn, and will causes the swords to no longer be infused with the silmarilis as all the chakra would have been released from them.

Bow: The swords can be on either side of the waste, or on the users back in an X shape or already locked in their bow form ready to use. This bow has no string but is formed from the users energy when they hold it, flowing out of their body to create the string. This making it useless to all that are not part of the clan. The arrows for the bow are made up of the Silmarilis (holy fire) in a focused form to create an arrow. The more chakra the user puts into the arrow the stronger it will be and the more devastating the impact. The arrows pierce, and hit their targets, then explode outwards into a burst of light, which can leave craters from the release of energy. The user can fire up to 3 arrows at once to hit different targets, but each arrow counts as a move per turn consuming chakra. Can only make one arrow A rank and above per turn.

Note: Can only be held by clan members as the weapon will burn the skin of others
Note: The weapon takes S rank to destroy and if one sword is destroyed the bow can't be formed.
Note: The power behind the abilities corelatates to the chakra. So for a C rank arrow, it costs 15 chakra and does 30 damage. And will be treated as so. Same for covering the swords in chakra and releasing the waves. S rank versions of the abilities can be used 3 times with two turns between each use, this total is for all S rank, both sword and bow.
Note: Combining the swords to make the bow or detaching them counts as a move per turn
Note: Waves and arrows B rank and below can only reach mid range

How Dare You Interrupt my Post ;-;

Who the **** was this? Lena looked at the man in front of her as the flames faded away, festering as molten rock between them. She was boiling inside, she couldn't relax as long as these people were alive they posed a massive threat to her Village. If they're not dealt with, what is to stop them coming back - he talked as if he could see the future. He couldn't see shit. Lena grabbed the Man she had by her side and kicked his legs out from under him, tugging on his hair as she painfully dragged him forward. She strode forward quite chill like, just silence between them as she closed the gap.

Lena got very close to Illuvatar, looking at his features, getting right close to his face as she looked him over. He looked young and pale, his hair was visible only by the strange, golden. His eyes were blue, not an innocent blue however, an experienced blue that had seen many - many things. She didn't get bad vibes from him, his intentions weren't either, but he was siding with the enemy. His intentions were harmful in her eyes.

"Naive."

Lena drops the brute, he lands curled up over the floor. He looked weak right now, but he would turn at any moment - though she was patient. This man in front of her was truly an idiot. She spun around on her heal and walked away, glancing to the right as she raised her left hand and clicked her fingers beside her head. Behind Illuvatar an explosion erupts from the Tag stuck on the back of the Young Bandit she had "let go" when she pat him on the back, he was swept away with the group so was near them - causing collateral damage to the group further behind Illuvatar.

"I'm worse than they'll ever be."

She didn't even look back as a part of the group of bandits went up in smoke, it was only one tag so it didn't cause massive damage - definitely killing the young one and a couple beside - wounding others.

Lena walked through the town, she was headed in the direction of home before noticing Juliana and Alicia walking home from the direction of the Inn. She was relieved, they looked okay - Alicia spotted her and lit up quickly. The little girl ran over to Lena who crouched down to meet her as she leapt into her arms, they both squeezed each other.

"There were bad men and we stood up to them Lena! Are you Proud? Mother said I was very brave! I hope they don't come back."

"Yes Alicia and they won't ever return, I told them off." Lena spoke quietly to her Precious little girl. Juliana looked at Lena, she was worried about the aftermath of this, she knew what lengths Lena would do. Was it too much.

"They'll never lay a finger on you again..."

"They'll never lay a finger on you again..."

This woman, she was different. So angry, vengeful, the hate in her eyes could pierce the hardest of rocks, yet, she seemed so in control, determined, as though she'd tamed all those emotions and them her power. It looked as though Iluvatar's interruption had vexed her to say the least, but she didn't go off on a rant. Instead only one word came from here mouth, "Naive". She dropped the brute that Iluvatar recognized from earlier but then turned to walk away. Strange. As she turned on her heals, she raised her hand, and that's when he sensed it, that negative intent, one to harm, one to kill, he spun on his heals to turn and run towards the bandit's but it was too late, with the snap of her fingers, the tag exploded, killing the young one, the blast consuming 3 more of the bandit's and injuring several more. Shielding his face with his arms, Iluvatar ran forwards. Making sure the flames hadn't spread. From his actions earlier to subdue these men, they had no way of defending themselves, it was like shooting fish in barrel, the actions of a cowards with no remorse. He spent the next few minutes applying a couple of bandages to those injured and made sure none of them had fatal injurious before turning and following after the woman he'd just encountered. He stopped landing on top of a building, out of sight for a moment as he caught what seemed like a reunion with familiar faced. So she was liked around here, but Iluvatar couldn't let it slip what he'd just seen.
With that he jumped down and landed just off to the side from them all. All stopping to look at the new arrival.

"Pardon my intrusion of this reuinion. But i'd just like to speak to your new friend for a few moments if that's alright? It's just discuss the bandits she'd "told off"..."

As saying this he made emphasis on it, looking Lena in the eye to make his point.

"...Nothing you need to concern yourselves with, she will be with you shortly. But i'm sorry i didn't quite catch your name?"

He stopped and waited to see the response. He wanted to understand her actions, and while he didn't condone what she'd done, he'd understood the reasons behind it now more than ever. It was the same reason Sin had got himself involved in the first place, they both cared about this little girl, the motive was easy to understand seeing this reunion, and so he didn't want to tarnish that image with the images of what he'd just seen. He wouldn't lower himself.

Lena parts from Alicia and looks at her for a few moments, the saviour of the bandits had returned again to interrupt her reunion with the little girl. Alicia looked at Illuvatar and back at Lena and then her smiled broadened, she was happy that the two had met and was hoping they'd become friends - she also wanted Lena to meet Sin and poked her chest.

"You need to meet ALL my new friends! They're very nice."

Even though the Threaded woman was irritated and filled with anger right now, she managed a small smile at Alicia before beckoning her back towards her mother.

"Go Home."

Juliana nodded at Lena, Alicia returning to her side before looking at Illuvatar - giving him a thankful nod once more and taking her leave, arm around child. She wanted to get involved, but she was just too physically drained and wanted to go home to her bed. The Mother looked back just as she went out of eye shot.

As they were now out of the two's vision, Lena's expression changed back to her usual poker-faced self - her neck turning towards Illuvatar. He was starting to get in the way.

"Pest."

This man really had no idea, not about the situation or hers - he was trying cement his own way into a Village she'd been in for 7 years. This man had only just arrived and was trying to tell her what is best. That'll be the day. Why should she need to explain her business? She lived here, it was him invading the Village with his beliefs. And why the hell should she give this man who didn't even know her, her name?

She waited for him to speak again, just looking at him - standing expressionless but staring.

Iluvatar smiled at Alicia and her mother as they made their way back home, respectfully waiting for them to be out of ear shot before he spoke again. It seemed this woman was fond of this village, and it fond of her, like she'd already built a connection. He couldn't blame anyone for that, he noticed the forced smile, but the two seemed to buy it. Once they'd gone out of sight, Iluvatar's face changed, it was now down to business.

"A pest you say? I can tell you have your own connection with this village, and i'm not here to ruin that, or to take over that, to even tarnish that. I'm merely passing through with my son. Seeing people as kind as those suffering, how could we not intervene? Would you not of done the same... if you were here?"

He let that sink in for a moment, before continuing.

"You're not going to always be around to protect these villagers, nor will i. I get your actions towards those scum, but killing them isn't the answer. And from what i heard, you were going to let one go free right? To carry a message? Well what then? You don't think the group they are attached too wouldn't hire more shinobi and warriors and come here again for vengeance? Killing them is like taking a shot at this group, saying bring it on, and they will take it personally and keep coming, until you're either defeated or they wait for the day you are gone and slaughter everything that is dear to you, if you show it or not, i can see you care. The bandits are defeated, they will be punished, they are being imprisoned which will serve as enough warning.... why tarnish this village with the blood of the scum of the world? WHat if that little girl saw what a coward you were, killing unarmed bound men? You want her to grow up with that in her mind?"

"I was and did blow up the one you thought I was letting 'Go Free'."

Lena glanced in the direction the other two had walked in, she thought for a moment. Ashikaga was still on her mind, he was important and he was already making his move on the Tea Peninsula - halting her progress to thwart his attempts was this man right now. Though it looked like Zeri wasn't here to discuss their plan. She had time, time to talk;

"I don't care what anyone thinks or sees of me. I never planned to build a reputation. I'd rather be a called a coward than let there be any fatal chances; which is what you seem to love taking."

He was right about one thing, the fact that she wasn't going to be here all the time and at any point that could have an effect on her or her Village. That's why she was looking to arm them and Zeri was determined to find allies too.

"This land is already a target. You have no idea."

That's why she was looking to arm them and Zeri was determined to find allies too. It was clear she was trying to remove a threat from a place and people she cared about and now, she said this land was a target.

"This land is already a target. You have no idea."
Iluvatar stood, listening, not just out of politeness but every word she spoke was like a piece to a puzzle. She was a stranger, but her worlds told a story about her, unraveling what was really going through her mind, with her last sentence saying it all. This wasn't just a random band of thugs that came into town, they'd been sent. With what Iluvatar had heard earlier, there was one name that came to mind "Ashikaga". But was this a group? An organization? Or just a single man with a goal to dominate these lands? right now, Iluvatar was at a disadvantage. He'd been sealed away for too long, his knowledge on current affairs and the state of the world were at a minimal, apart from what he'd learned in the last 48 hours, which was rather dismal. But how it stood now, he had a better idea of what had transpired these past couple of days, something for him to work with.

"You're right, i have no idea... i'm just passing through with my son... But i can't stand by and watch people like these suffer, and whether you admit it or not, it's clear to me you have similar feelings, more so even, your actions speak for themselves. I'm not your enemy here. We have different ideals, that much is obvious... But hear me out... This is just a band of thugs that are being used, used by someone or a group, for an end goal... i heard you conversation... Ashikaga... i don't know who are what they are, but right now, we are on the same path, stop Ashikaga. But i don't know who or what they are... but let me help you... lets cut the head off the snake so you don't have to worry about when you're away... remove the head from the snake and body will fall and these people can live in peace...?"

He placed his bow on his back now, his hands out at his sides as a sign of peace. But how would she take his offer?

"I'm grateful to you for stopping any of the villagers being harmed."

He wasn't just Naive, but he was ignorant about the current situation. As if cutting the head off the snake was going to be that easy, like she hadn't thought of that obvious answer to her problems. First she had to win the first bout before she could make her move on Ashikaga, she really only knew a little bit. This village came first, even if she was surrounded and all hope was lost she wouldn't abandon it. Lena would die first.

"It's not a matter of stopping him right now. It's surviving him."

Her conversation with him was getting to her, the reality of the situation. Death was going to be a true outcome whether this man who was against killing liked it or not, there was no chance that there wouldn't be bloodshed especially now that the bandits can tell him their mission failed. However, allies are always helpful - even if he was grinding her gears, though if he were to get in her way more often it could do less good than otherwise.

"Your Son and you are Shinobi?"

"Your Son and you are Shinobi?"

The irritation was becoming apparent on the woman's face but at the same time, she remained civil, calm, and had resorted to violence from his responses so far. It seemed as though he was getting somewhere within this conversation. Each sentence holding more information. Survival. Survival either meant one of two things. This man was either too strong to stop and had too many resources at his disposal, or how could you stop someone you couldn't find? He decided it was time to test her. To see her reaction from the truth. Looking around with a flick of his eyes, he saw that they were now alone, and the villagers were off in the distance enjoying the merriment of being free from the threat that had plagued their village the last few days. With the coast clear he spoke.

"He is not my son. That's just what i've told him to say to stop too many questions being asked. But if i want you to trust me, i shall be honest..."

As he spoke, he placed both hands on either side of his hood and pulled it down, revealing his secret...

"My name is Iluvatar, i'm the leader of an old race known as the Noldor, or we are refered to as the Elves. Three days ago, that boy, Sinthorus, or Sin as your people know him, venutured into the forest at the base of the mountains that was once my home, within that mountain he found a box, and with it freed me from my eternal slumber where i was sealed away by someone i once thought to be my ally. Now, i'm seeking to reunite with any of my clan, if any still exist. I owe that boy my life. I offered him the chance to see the world and he took it, and along the way i swore to protect him."

He paused for a moment to let that sink in, then placing his hood back over his head, covering his ears in the process.

"We came here seeking information and somewhere to stay on our travels, in the process we ran into those bandits. My "Son" was the one who stepped in when the little girl Alicia was in harms way. He encouraged the villagers to stand up for themselves and that they couldn't always rely on someone to step in and save them, such as this Zeri, one i've heard so much about, or even yourself now. These are strong, kind hearted people. And i wouldn't see any harm done to them..."

He let out a sigh now, and looked the girl in the eyes...

"I want to help, and it's obvious my knowledge is limited right now... as far as i can tell, these bandits were sent by someone called Ashigaka, a single man by the sounds of it that has much greater plans for these lands. Right now, you either don't have the means or the knowledge to remove this threat from a place you care about, and from asking about me and my companion, you need all the help you can get whether you like it or not...."

He now took several steps forwards, stopping a meter away from the girl... holding out it hand with his palm open...

"Let me help, and when these people are safe, we shall move on... until a time where we are needed... what do you say?"

This man had revealed to her his true identity, she had to admit she was pretty surprised by this peace-seaking man's background - but it all became clear. He was a leader of an old race, Noldor and Elves sounding vaguely familiar to her as she had admired and liked their pointy eared look she adopted it to her own looks too. Lena however saw now where he was lacking, he had been "asleep" for so long, basically new to this world - if he was telling the truth anyway, she didn't see why he'd lie when making his revelation to be an...uh.. Elf. If there were other Elves across the world, this man would want to meet them or reunite with them, making him move on from this town - giving her some form of relief that he wouldn't be here forever for she was still not fond of his presence. Would that change?

He covered his head now, to keep his story to himself from others except us two and this "Sinthorus" character. If he wasn't his son, was he just some civilian? Seemed he was more reckless than she imagined, dragging this defenceless boy into a broken world with nothing but dangers - now more than ever.

"I have acquired four large Cargo Palettes of Weapons that Ashikaga's men had imported into Degarashi Port South of here. It wasn't easy, they have shinobi, guards and assassins of all kinds of calibur on his side. Seems he had influence before he started being a publicised dickhead and is using the void of the capital's fall to his advatage, trying to fill in the hole with his own authority. Just acquiring these weapons has been a task, I've lost... lost a close companion... and.... friend."

Lena looked down, her facade breaking for a split second before rising her head and looking fine again. She was thinking about Jinx, seeing her lifeless body lying there below the Armoured Shinobi that had slaughtered her. Even though she had successfully delayed his approached to Lena whilst she stole the Cargo, she had given her life and died there for her even after not seeing her for months. Lena would not let that sacrifice be in Vein. She looked at the Noldor's hand and then back up at him, she didn't reply with the hand gesture yet.

"Do you think you can protect this one boy, When this all goes to shit? Do you think you can accept that there will be Bloodshed?"
