South Korean Goalie saved the team from Sweden's attacks so far.

Yup. Still thinking this is going to end 2-0 as per my pre-game prediction, but for the love of God, utilise your chances Sweden! Where is Zlatan when you need him :rolleyes:xd

Boring match , Sweden was a bit better but not that great either. I hate games that are decided by a worthless penalty

Now comon Belgium!!:ilu:

I wanna see De Bruyne Cannon one in today

Sweden won, VAR was vital

Indeed. If you ask me I believe that it's been a success so far.

Agreed. Sweden's missing that extra spunk they had with Zlatan in the team it seems. Pretty sure it's going to be Germany and Mexico that goes through now, but you might never know ;P

As for Belgium, I've yet to see why everyone fancies their chances so high each tournament. Maybe this game can show me why ;)

On Paper Belgium seem formidable, their players are very good and make good decisions quickly.

That's what I mean though, I don't think they do on paper xd Sure they have a few good players but it seems like the bookmakers fancy their chances because of how they play rather than the squad alone. I would place Belgium together with Portugal, Argentina and England if we only look on the paper really but nothing more, and yet Portugal is always so low on the list in comparison. If we removed Ronaldo, Hazard, Messi and Kane I probably wouldn't fancy either one of them a chance at winning.

England look good on paper? Good looking? lololol England need to perform much better to look good anywhere. Hopefully this is a year they can do that.

Belgium have good players but they don't play well together cause they dont play Enough together compared to when they're in the league playing in clubs with different people etc.

Nil Nil.

Panama can breath.

England will always be England, lol. I'm always undermining the English team's players and even the Premier League clubs', so if we're going to say that Argentina, Portugal and Belgium look good on paper because of 3 or so players, we might as well toss England in that same pot, at least the bookies does, haha

If u remove Hazard, u still have De Bruyne who is overall better than Hazard , Lukaku and Courtois as a world class goalkeeper

Belgium seemed to play well enough the first 15 minutes or so, lol. And the same can be said about any National team for the latter part of your post except for Germany, Spain and to some degree England, lmao, but I get your point.

It's only a matter of time now, Hazard, Bruyne and Lukaku to score in the 2nd half to make it 3-0.

I wonder where Caliburn is btw xd He's been all too quiet today, no reason to be that nervous for this match, even for him. Unless this result lasts that is

Meh, I would place the players you mentioned together with Di Maria, Aguero and Higuian, and what they have in common are star attackers but no outstanding players on the midfield or in defence. At least Portugal has Pepe at the back xd

Oh no I completely agree about that, most other teams whose star players play for different clubs, it's gonna be hard for them to adjust to having a completely different atmosphere of players

Indeed, but for one that fact doesn't seem to affect all the teams equally this World Cup at least, if Belgium keep this up they should win this match for sure.

Edit: Didn't take long at all XD

Oh Belgium's goal was beautiful, I don't think anyone expected that. What A Goal, up and over, stadium and commentators were like "Wait it went in?"

that was great

Belgium finally kickstarting their campaign.

Torres is doing wonders in defence for panama, but it'z just him atm.

It's going to fly in goals now, 3-0 before 60 minutes played...
