Yet when she bite her lips (which resulted in ending genjutsu Itachi cast on her) Itachi immediately attacked her and she is not shown holding kunai , if that was real Kurenai she should still have kunai moment Itachi attacked her.Also she should have blood on her lips but she didn't (after genjutsu was released).
Kunai and blood are missing, it could be inconsistency, but if isn't then that Kurenai was clearly genjutsu Kurenai.

Anyhow, I still agree with you. You can see that Itachi still cuts her hair after she breaks the genjustu(I can assure you it happens because she certainly ducked) and you can see Itachi slicing. Itachi clearly had a kunai despite using the genjutsu, which would've supposedly killed her anyway. If she had already binded Itachi, there would be no reason for her to get closer to perform the rest of the genjutsu. Asuma was truly grazed as you say.

It's questionable if Kisame was actually hit by a genjutsu from Kurenai. Kisame wasn't restrained and you can see it in the fact that his sword has torn its wrapping despite Asuma only being shredded ONCE it had torn the wrappings. It wasn't torn prior to shredding Asuma. Either this, or Kisame is only restrained AFTER attacking Asuma. Either way, Asuma was attacked first.

The real Kurenai isn't shown in that panel because it shows her wrapped by a tree which is clearly an illusion. Unless you think that in reality Kurenai is being held by a tree, that's not the real Kurenai.

Kurenai bit the left side of her lip & we were shown the right side of her face as well, so we should consider that we wouldn't be able to see her blood unless it dripped off of her chin.

When the real Itachi attacks the real Kurenai, she has no kunai, no blood and there is no tree so how did you come to the conclusion that that is the real Kurenai? She has no kunai
