Or even superior.. Who knows! Maybe he is only powerful in his dimensions and lacks power outside. That is why outers are needed. KK may be the only one that belongs to the NV dimension, therefore he can fight and that makes the Jougan relevant because Boruto might need it to find Jigen and slay him in the future.

I am not into Kawakii that much. I don't really like the character but for Jigen to go after him as a boy, maybe he already revealed something, probably the way he endured pain or some special ability like Juugo. Lets see how things develop..

The vessel part is very important imo. Vessel for what?

So, Jigen seems sure of his ability to capture the Vessel. He possesses some sort of hax like Itachi. Which makes capture a surety.
