Karma seal confusion..

Kara believed that Momo was killed by Naruto and was surprised Boruto had the seal which allowed him to reach the conclusion that Boruto was the one that killed Momo.

So Kara was unaware that killing a god gave a "human" a seal? Or this is going to be a huge plothole/bad writting consequence?

Perhaps Kara thought that Naruto had a seal, and his capture would have been problematic, and they switched to Kawaki as soon as he got a seal and found out about Kara's goal! But now Kara has the easier goal is Boruto, and, perhaps, they will change plans

Well it’s delta that’s suprised right? It’s possible she didn’t know about momo being defeated yet, or another ootsutsuki going down. It was implied it was KK’s operation to run, and we don’t know how long they’ve been waiting. It’s also possible(although doubtful) that momo willingly gave boruto the seal for beating him to make things interesting for Kara, or mess things up for them(if they know about them)

There surprise was because Boruto had it instead of Naruto. Also that here were two Karma users in the same place(excluding them) which was unexpected. Delta was only expecting Kawaki not Boruto.

I am also thinking that Karma may allow the vessel to absorb others that have the same seal. Maybe the objective was to catch Naruto or take his place..

More so a fortunate turn of events I think, they only needed one(unless Jigen and anyone else does have one) then Momoshiki attacked and got killed giving the Hokage presumably a Karma seal. That might be why they said Momoshiki screwed things up, not because he attacked, but because he lost. (& then the ninja tool plan whatever the goal of that was.) but now that they see this 2nd seal is in less capable hands than Naruto, in Boruto’s hands in fact, the boy they already manipulated in the chuunin exams, they might change their plans for the better.

Now that you mention it, that brings up the question, how will they beat the ootsusuki for good unless they want to end up with karmas on everyone? They most definitely have negative side effects so I don’t think they’d want that.

& Talk no Jutsu is ineffective on them

Momoshiki could pass the seal when he took Boruto's hand, perhaps the dying Otsutsuki touched Jigen's beard

The Otsutsuki Jigen killed probably had the power of creating alternative/parallel dimensions and he can also materialize stuff from other dimensions he created into the dimension he is in.
